This IS THE BEST tattoo place!! I have been getting ink here for almost 6 years from Ty. My wife gets inked here, my son gets inked here, my daughter gets inked here and my daughter-in-law is next!!

They were very accommodating with the request for me and my sister! The prices were very reasonable compared to other places I have been. Definitely would come back when I am back in the area! Tyrell did an amazing job!

Had an amazing experience with Ty! He is so talented. Went in when they opened just to see if they had anything open. Ty had a cancellation and took me in right away. Went in with ideas and pics but couldn’t fond what I wanted exactly. Ty listened, within 20 mins he had what I wanted! My tat came out amazing! I have had so many compliments! It’s healing so well. We went to see Brandi, and she was so amazing! I personally felt relaxed and barely felt her doing the tattoos during or after. Our tattoos look like theyve been there for weeks already theyre so clean. The handwriting is my mothers, and she copied impressively. She also did a touch-up of one of my moms older tattoos. Overall awesome experience!

10000% recommend Liquid Metal for anyone wanting to get a tattoo, big or small. Jackie in particular is absolutely wonderful- super entertaining to talk to while he works, super talented, and works very hard to make sure that you’re happy with the end result. He has done the majority of my flower half sleeve tattoo and I am so happy with it!

I drove 45 minutes from Chesterfield to Liquid Metal Tattoo which is located in West Point to get my tattoo by an artist named Rico. A coworker referred me to Rico. Rico is a beast with his art work & tattooing!! It was definitely worth the drive. Rico & his family are such pleasant souls! He is very responsive when communicating via text, email, or phone. He is an awesome guy! So friendly & down to earth! I must say it was an absolute pleasure getting tattooed by him. Will definitely recommend Rico to others.

I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. I came in to get a tattoo covered up. The staff was welcoming and professional. An artist named Jackie took a photo of the tattoo and I scheduled an appointment. When I returned, he had a wonderful design which not only left the original tattoo invisible but was fabulous in and of itself. I highly recommend the shop!

I love the look of this tattoo shop. The inside of this shop has some great art work to make it a comfortable and relaxing environment. Give these guys alot of credit... I showed up at around 7 on a SAT with no appointment and wanted to have my wife and I tattooed. Was really hoping for ty ( if you want ty make an appointment)! Dont know what I was thinking! But mad props to all the guys there... They huddled up and managed to squeeze us in. Even though I didnt get the artist I desired Im still pleased with my tattoo. Keep in mind looking at photo that the tat is still healing over half is still scabbed. Great job liquid Metal! Highly recommended!

Amazing. This was my first, large piece, and it was so much easier than I expected-because of my amazing tattoo artist, Jonathan George. He is so hard-working & talented. He fixed my design for me, and was kind about it. He made sure to have options of fillers for me to choose from. He had a very light hand, and the tattoo did not even hurt as much as I thought it would. He probably took about 3 (2-5 min) breaks the entire 6 hours, making sure my time & payment was respected. The shop had movies playing the whole time, clean restrooms, and friendly staff. Highly recommend this place. I will definitely be going back!

I stopped by today to schedule a future appointment, but there was a guest artist named Jack who happened to be free and ready to go. Jack worked quickly but skillfully and he was really entertaining to talk to. I love my finished piece!

Brandy at liquid metal is the only person I ever want to tattoo me. She does an amazing job and has tattooed 5 of my friends and family. Cant wait to make my next appointment!

The crew at Liquid Metal are awesome! Jeff did an amazing job on my wifes two tattoos and will be doing my full back in April! All are very professional back and laid back. I cant recommend this place enough!! We just moved to Virginia in September, away from our previous artist...but we have found a new one!

My stepson used their services. He got a hand tattoo. Came out beautiful and healed nicely! Im thinking about getting a portrait of my motorcycle and if I do Ill use them.

All the artists here are very talented, and have amazing skill. Theyre very friendly and knowledgeable. I had a cover up done by Terrel and he didnt give himself enough credit on it. He usually does black and white tattoos, but colors and shading used on my sleeve really make it look realistic, I get a ton of compliments on it and always recommend this shop if someone asks about tattoo shops.

A variety of artists with unique styles and personalities. In my experience they want to do a really good job and work with you to get the tattoo right and placed exactly where you want it. Ive gotten tattoos from Jon and Brandy and they were both insightful and professional. Cheese was quick to schedule me and lay down the ground rules on my first visit. Great team of artists in a clean, friendly environment. Will be going here again with my next idea.

Liquid Metal is the only place I would ever go to get a tattoo. Rico has done numerous tattoos for my husband and I, and he is absolutely amazing. The atmosphere in the shop is great. Cheese is so friendly and greets everyone with a smile. Rico is easy going and his artwork is absolutely incredible. You may not be able to get an appointment same day because they are THAT GOOD and worth the wait. People book in advance because they want the best and that’s exactly what you get here. I was a walk-in, and they took me right away. Jeff was patient with all my questions and when I asked for his advice, was glad to help create the perfect tattoo. He really loves what he is doing and believes in the art of the tattoo. He was here to tattoo, and not for the money (although $ is still a good thing, lol).It was comforting that his motivation was he wanted me to be happy, not how much he could get.It was painless too, aside from the small scratch-like feeling a tattoo gun gives.Jeff was a master of color. I was afraid hed give me a hard time wanting a rainbow tattoo, but he was more than willing, and made a beautiful gradient for the sunset in my design.All in all, this place was amazing. Come see them, and you wont regret it. Highly recommend, and cant wait to come back next time Im in Virginia.

Had an appointment with Jeff today for my first tattoo in 20 years, I had to admit I was nervous, but the atmosphere was really cool and relaxed. The work was great, I had an hour in the chair and it was easier than I thought it would be. I cant wait to go back for more.

I went in with a idea that was sentimental to me. I told Jeff my idea and he put it into art. He did an amazing job drawing up my idea and a amazing job doing the tattoo. I was vacationing from Wisconsin and wanted to get a certain tattoo for years. I’m glad they tattoo 16 year olds with adult consent. I had Jonathan and he was really chill and laid back. He freehanded the tattoo stencil on me, took a picture to show placement, and would adjust to my liking without any issues. I’m super happy and glad I got a very good quality tattoo as my first of manyUpdate on March 25, 2022I came back to Jonathan for a touch up. I also contacted the shop apprentice, Dakoata about doing a tattoo. He was super nice and welcoming. He did an amazing job. Decided to get some script done and he really put his all into it. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

After searching the Richmond area for a tattoo shop that had a great reputation, I heard about Ty at Liquid Metal through a mutual friend. To say he is awesome would be an understatement! Very professional & makes sure your comfortable which was important to me. The shop atmosphere is really relaxed, everyone was friendly, and it is also very clean( which was a must for me)!! This tattoo was my 5th & a coverup but by far my FAVORITE! I absolutely couldnt be any happier with my half sleeve!!
