American Dream Tattoo

One of few places I wish I could give more than 5 stars to. I had a custom arm tattoo from Paloma, and end to end was a great experience. She gave great design feedback (and Im much happier than what I originally proposed). Time at the shop was excellent. Everyone is super friendly, very relaxed atmosphere, and very very clean. My tattoo turned out incredible. Shes a magician with shading. Healed very well, no issues or pain. Im only going to one place to get a tattoo, and this is it.

I chose Paloma as my tattoo artist. This tattoo was important to me because it marked the beginning of a new era, a new life for me. Paloma made her chair feel like a place where i could arrive to my new self. As she worked on me i told her a little of my story. She reverently listened and held space as she tattooed me. I felt her respect for my journey. Not only that but this was one of the most minimal pain tattoos i have had, and i have 6. To add to all of this, the piece is absolutely beautiful, exactly what i wanted and im so so very happy with it. I could go on and on but I’ll leave it at that! Go see her! She’s an incredible artist and a queen! ❤️

They were great from start to finish! I even had 2 consults because I wasn’t sure anfter my 1st and they were totally cool with having me come in for a 2nd one! The job, as u can see, is beautiful!!! He took my mother’s butterfly tattoo and replicated it beautifully as well adding it onto an existing piece by different artists. And the vibe was very chill and got to get some laughs in during my 6 hour visit! Thanks so much Ronak and team! Cldnt be happier!

FIVE STARS. Paloma is not only a gifted artist, but she takes the time to discuss what you are looking for and makes sure you are happy with the sketch before she begins. She is a professional and has an immaculate, hygienic work space.Paloma has done 6 tattoos for me since 2020. I love her custom pieces! Her energy is so positive and upbeat—it is an honor to display her art on my body. I really can’t say enough about this, her vibes are so wonderful. She has a great aura and is so open, honest and friendly.American Dream:The shop is wonderful, very cute and all of the artists are really talented. The process for scheduling an appointment is easy. Go to the website, pick the artist who will do the tattoo, fill out google form, send reference pictures, and wait for a return email, call or text. Pay a $200 nonrefundable fee (it will be deducted from final cost of tattoo) then schedule an appointment.Day of appointment:When you arrive, you fill out a consent form, relevant medical information, and upload your government ID via a QR code. Once that is done, Paloma will show you the final sketch, make any changes if needed then place on your body. Next-get tattooed.Once tattoo is completed, she will take pictures/videos for you and her Instagram account (optional of course, but I love to support her). Then she will give you a little cute pouch with antibacterial soap and a custom sticker. 😊 You can also use the “second skin” as well.Heads up: Guests are not allowed due to size of shop. Lots of good restaurants near by for your loved ones to wait but it just makes more sense to come alone in my opinion.I love American Dream Tattoo in Westfield, NJ. I recently got 3 tattoos done by Caity and she did such a great job!! I am obsessed with them!!! I have been getting so many compliments. She was super kind & made me feel super comfortable! I will definitely be back soon for more :)

Got a portrait tattoo here about a month ago & never had such a great experience getting tattooed before. Everyone there is pleasant to be around & not to mention Oksana is a perfectionist. She nailed the portrait of my brother & I to the tee. I will definitely be returning!

Oksana completed a back tattoo for me. She is very talented and took in my ideas to create a masterpiece. The shop was easy to find and parking near by. Staff was friendly and very informative. Definitely will go back.

This is an awesome little place in the center of Westfield. Tattooed by Pete @steadyrat. He always delivers 1000% of the time. The rest of the staff and the vibes are fantastic too. Super warm and welcoming and very fair price for quality work. Would absolutely recommend to anyone thinking of coming here!

Love this shop!! I have gotten tattooed by a few people in the shop over the past couple of years, they are all excellent and have a wide specialty range!! My go-to artist here is my dear friend Caity ( caitycat.tattoos). I’ve been getting work from her since she was an apprentice and her talent knows no bounds!! I will continue coming to this shop, not only for the lovely experience while tattooing, but also for the diversity and inclusivity the environment provides for me and all other clients that come here. You will find any and every type of style you wish to get tattooed here. :)

I first want to say, Thank you so much to Ronak for creating this beautiful traditional lighthouse for me! As someone who has been to multiple artists and shops. I have to say Ronak is the most caring artist I have ever had. I normally don’t sit well for long( I get antsy) and I was able to sit for 5 hours with him!! Throughout the tattoo, we had good conversation, as well as he would ask If I felt ok, needed water, a break etc. He truly is an amazing artist, and has a great energy about him! I am so grateful to have found him. As far as the shop, it is very clean, very welcoming and everyone was friendly! I have already received compliments on how beautiful my piece is. I cannot wait to go back to Ronak!!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! You truly won’t be disappointed In getting tattooed here!!!

The staff was professional and courteous, great communication too! I felt totally safe and comfortable throughout my tattooing session. I got tattooed with Oksana. She did absolutely incredible work. She took my reference photos and concept, and made a truly beautiful piece I am so so happy with! My mom and I went to American Dream to get matching tattoos and had an amazing experience. Jon’s skill in crafting our small, fine line hearts exceeded our expectations, and his kindness made our first tattoo experience memorable. Despite the tattoos being a smaller project, he was still so attentive and enthusiastic to ensure we got the final product we wanted as the tattoos have great meaning to us. Hailey, the receptionist, was delightful in assisting us with booking the appointment and was so friendly the day of. The final product of the tattoos is great and the overall experience was just fantastic. I highly recommend American Dream to everyone.

Oksana is an outstanding artist! I am so proud to be a living canvas for her unique and beautiful designs. American Dream Tattoo is a lovely salon: comfortable, clean, and bright, with windows facing a lovely small town street. Oksana and her staff take a personal interest in each customer and provide very comprehensive instructions before and after tattooing as well as follow up phone calls and texts.

Ive gotten multiple pieces done by Ronak, one of the co-owners, and he is fantastic! Really great attention to detail with a great vibe and really knows how to treat his clients. The shop is clean, well kept, and also has an awesome vibe. All the other artists are friendly, cool, and super talented!

Oksana is a sweetheart and the best in the business. Kind, caring and I’ve been going to her for years; today was my second piece on my birthday. I met Ronak at the NJ Punk Rock Flea Market & Tattoo Expo - got a tattoo, took his card and left. Seeing how vibrant and beautiful my new tattoo healed, I made an appointment at American Dream for another. The space is clean and the vibes are welcoming. I threw Ronak a list of ideas, gave him creative control and he presented me with another beautiful colorful design. He’s super. Very chill guy, great tattoo artist. I’ve been back to American Dream twice and plan on going back in 2024. I recommend American Dream to everyone who asks about my tattoos. Glad to have found this place.

Highly recommend American Dream! 2 years ago I came into the shop for a cover up consultation with Paloma… and 10 tattoos later (yes 10!) I keep coming back again and again… That should tell you all you need to know!Paloma is a true artist and somehow reads my mind of what tattoo design I’m thinking of by just a couple reference photos. She makes you feel so comfortable throughout your appointment, is patient and kind and takes her time making sure things are just right and does amazing work. I always get compliments on my tattoos and comments on how unique the style is. I love all my tattoos and will be back I’m sure for 10 more. ;)

Ronak has done two of my three tattoos so far & my only regret is not going to him for my first one! Both of the tattoos he’s done have healed really well. He’s very talented especially when it comes to line work.

Without question, Oksana’s talent is second to none! I waited a long time because I knew her art was amazing and she far surpassed my expectations. The detail and quality are incredible. Don’t make a mistake and go anywhere else. This is where you want to get your ink.

They responded back very fast to me about getting a black and gray tattoo for my service dog that passed away sep 4,2019. They where booked up so could not get it done this Memorial weekend weekend in her memory. But thats ok becuase the work they do its worth the wait. I had to add photo of my girl as one of the pics will be the tattoo I will be getting.

Everyone who works here is amazing and hospitable. Great, clean work and a very friendly, welcoming environment. There are a bunch of new 1 star reviews on here because the owner of a shop with the same name in Las Vegas vandalized a UFC fighter’s house or something and their fans are attacking the wrong business. This American Dream Tattoo has nothing to do with that, they’re all good people

I came to American Dream to get a tattoo done by Paloma and she did not disappoint at all. I have two tattoos done by her and I love them and I can’t wait to get more done by her. I get so many compliments and her line work and attention to detail is amazing. The staff in there is amazing too, they all make you feel comfortable. This shop is owned by Ronak, Paloma and Oksana. They are the most diverse and uniquely talented group of people. Together they form a powerhouse, a force to be reckoned with. Along with them, they also have an amazingly talented team with a variety of different styles. They can take on any project that walks through their door. From traditional to realism, to blackwork and the most creative designs. You will get a tattoo that is one of kind and custom made for you. Everyone that works there is kind, professional and personable. Each artist takes so much pride in their craft and is very knowledgeable. I have tattoos from two of the owners and I can not recommend their shop more.(They are not affiliated in ANYWAY to the American Dream Tattoo shop located on Booth Street in Arkansas which has had some drama attached to it lately, people are being trolls and not doing their research)

I was so fortunate to receive a beautiful tattoo from Paloma. She was so kind and her work is impeccable! I love her style and I was absolutely thrilled with the design she drew up. Paloma was so patient with me as the last bit of the tattoo was extra painful. She also checked in regularly and made sure I felt comfortable speaking up if I needed a break. The whole studio has an extremely welcoming, professional, and clean environment. Overall I can not recommend them enough, Paloma especially is the kindest tattoo artist!!

It was my first tattoo, so I was nervous going in, but Palomas calm and kind energy blew those nerves away! She did a wonderful job bringing my tattoo to life, and adding her personal artistic touches to it definitely elevated the original design. Im so happy with my tattoo, and everyone whos seen it so far has been impressed with the line work and detail on the flower. Highly recommend coming here if you have the chance to!

Paloma gave me this lovely tattoo 2 weeks ago. It was a pleasure to work with her and I love the results! I highly recommend American Dream Tattoo in Westfield. Great atmosphere, clean , bright space. Really nice people. I had a great experience, and will definitely be back. FYI I am 63 and felt welcome and comfortable there.

I have been tattooed by several artists in several shops, but American Dream and Paloma will be it from now on. The shop and staff are amazing. It is clean, professional and welcoming. But the best part for me is Paloma. Besides being an amazing artist who designed and inked exactly what I wanted to coverup an old tattoo and compliment another piece, she goes above and beyond for her clients. Her work is incredible and I receive more compliments on her pieces than any others. American Dream is an awesome addition to Westfield and should be your first stop when looking for a shop. Whether it is your first hour or 50th hour under the needle, this shop, these artists and the staff will truly blow you away.

Came in to chang ent cartilage piercing. took me in asap. so chill. found out the science of the metals and their durability and the master piercer makes sure to “take the pain” of his clients. super appreciated and awesome. thank you super happy and my piercing feels better than before!

Oksana Weber was really nice! Very personable. I felt welcomed there. She is an amazing artist. She did 2 tattoos for me, a Jack & Sally heart Mashup on my left arm & a raccoon covering up a messed up tattoo on my left leg. I feel her prices were extremely reasonable considering her art is A++++++!! I will definitely be booking her for another tattoo!

I had a great experience with American Dream Tattoo. I lucked out and was able to get an appointment within days due to a cancellation. Ronak, co-owner and the artist that worked on me, is amazing and drew up a beautiful piece for me. It was the perfect combination of what I had envisioned and his own special flare. I highly recommend American Dream Tattoo. Oksana did an incredible job on two tiny tattoos. One for me and one for my guy. Working so small with fine lines is no easy task and her work is impeccable. They came out exactly as we wanted. The shop is clean and beautiful and a great environment to hang out in if you are there for a larger piece. Make sure to schedule way ahead of time because she’s booked out for months. A sign of a great artist and absolutely worth the wait!

Oksana and the rest of the staff are amazing. I patiently waited for months for her books to finally open up but it was so worth the wait! The B & G wolf tattoo she did on my right calf came out incredible!! Not only does she do amazing quality but she also does it in a very timely manner she did a 9x4 inch tattoo in 2.5 hours with amazing detail that’s insane. I came back recently to redo a previous tattoo I had, I followed her judgement in what could be done to revitalize the tattoo rather than trying to cover it up and I’m so glad I listened. The update to my tattoo looks amazing can’t wait for it to finish healing and I still have a future session in a few months to add to another tattoo I have. There’s a reason she has her own shop she is beyond amazing at what she does and I can’t wait to continue working with her! As if her talent wasn’t good enough her pricing is very fair for her amazing quality!! I went to Oksana for my first tattoo. Though Im good with pain, I wasnt sure what to expect going into this. She made sure to walk me through every step, made great conversation and educated me on best aftercare practices. I now have many appointments in the pipeline. I couldnt recommend American Dream Tattoo more, love them!

An awesome looking shop in a great area that was easy to find. Even though they were working with other customers both artists greeted me when I walked in the door. I worked with Ronak to design my American Traditional style tattoo and I couldn’t be happier woth the results. I’m definitey going back for my next tattoo. 6 stars!

Great overall experience.Great collaboration, very professional and best tattoo Ive gotten to date. I was tattooed by Oskuna and my only complaint is that she is a great artist and in high demand. You might have to wait a few months. But well worth the wait.

I went in on a Saturday to get an addition to my tattoo collection, Paloma was very attentive and I barely even felt anything (she has a very light hand) I will definitely come back for more tattoos!!!

Had a tattoo done by Ronak -Agreed to have four tattoos done, with the time between 3:00 - 7:00. When I got there, he didn’t even discuss the second set of tattoos citing difficult timing because he scheduled an appointment at 5:30. That was an appointment scheduled on his part in mywindow. He preceded to take an exorbitantly long time to tattoo simple line work with minimalshading, the same work that a colleague said would take only an hour. After three hours of work, he told me he didn’t have time for the other two and tried to reschedule in a window that didn’t work for me. On top of that, he made mistakes on my second tattoo while preaching he took time to make sure everything was correct, and then charged me an unreasonable rate for taking too long on two tattoos.Choose at your own discretion.

Im very unhappy with my tattoo, since I saw it for first time. I was very specific with Ronak, I wanted very, very thin lines. Ronak completely ignored what I want it and I end it up with bulky tattoo on my hand ... I cant wait to cover it up this weekend with something what I really want and with artists who cares and listen to his clients.

Paloma has done two separate pieces on me and both have come out amazing. The shop is clean, modern and welcoming. I will be going back for sure.
