What an amazing experience - this was our second attempt at piercing my 6 year old daughters ears and they were so accommodating and had two nurses pierce her ears at the same time so it could be a quick experience. They were kind, patience and helpful. I would highly recommend for children and adults!

Quera was amazing! I had a hiccup with my left lobe - the piercing came out and Quera was very calm on the phone with me and got me sorted out. I was able to come right in and get treated and get a new left hole put in. Brenda the manager was super supportive as well! Im grateful to this team.

Quera was absolutely incredible with my 3 year old daughter. She was very clear with everything that would happen with the piercing and talked her through the process as she did it ❤️. A welcoming environment that is as clean as you would want a piercing place to be.Several family members have had their ears pierced here. All of them had positive experiences.The nurses are knowledgeable and professional. They are patient and happy to answer questions. While I was there buying earrings (nice selection with reasonable prices for good quality earrings) I overheard a child expressing their excitement and anxiety, the nurse did a great job helping the child process their anxiety and made sure the child was comfortable with the process and wanted to continue. The child left happily with newly pierced ears.

Rowan was a great experience for my toddler, she got to pick out her earrings and got both ears pierced at the same time. It was quick and she was very proud of herself! She wanted to hang her Certificate of Bravery on the fridge when we got home. The aftercare has been easy with the spray.

Made an appointment here as recommended but then had to wait 40 minutes. Then my daughters earring fell out a few days later. We took her in right away to have them help put it back in. When they put it back they re-pierced it angled very downward, very close to her lobe. We confirmed it would be the same spot but it wasnt. We likely need to take it out and make a third trip there to re-do it. It looks terrible and we are all so disappointed with this experience.

I showed up as a walk-in on a beautiful Friday around 11AM and was very happy with my experience. I was the only one there and the nurse treated me wonderfully. She was super professional and worked with me to make sure we got the placement just right. They even had a complementary hair tie for me since I didn’t plan ahead. Thanks, Rowan team :)

I got my seconds pierced in March on my birthday, the earrings are gorgeous and don’t tarnish and my mom is getting her seconds pierced as I’m writing this, she loved my earrings so much she had to come get her seconds done too!

Best place in CT for piercing. The staff is amazing and the earring selection is great. Very clean, accommodating. 9 different piercings I always leave happy with exactly what I want!

I have gotten one piercing at Rowan and changed the jewelry for two others. By far, this is the best piercing experience I’ve had and the in my place I trust with my ears. I have sensitive skin and am generally quite fragile but Rowan has taken care of me during and after my piercing. The jewelry is also great quality (even the cheapest studs) and has not caused any problems allergic reactions. I would give more stars to the wonderful staff at Rowan if I could!!

Great staff, very clean facility. The piercing is all done by nurses so you don’t have to worry about improper technique ever.

I would NOT recommend this location to anyone! If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I took my daughter here because I felt having her ears pierced by a nurse was safer than a jewelry salesperson. In hindsight, I probably could have done a better job myself with zero experience.The store was crowded and only has one station at the front where you can look at/ choose piercing earrings. Other customers in the store were extremely rude and would either cut the line to look at earrings or take the sample earrings away from the station to look at them. The sales person was rushing us to choose earrings, but we could not because of the customers behind us who kept hoarding the samples to themselves.Once it was our turn for piercing, the nurse marked each ear, but completely dismissed my request to measure the distance between my daughter’s face and the piercing mark (the recommended distance is 8mm). The nurse said they did not have a measuring tape and that she would not do this because “nobody’s ears are symmetrical”. Personally, I felt that she did not want to measure just because she was rushing since the store was crowded. I should have walked out that store right then and there. Ultimately, the piercings were not an equal distance from her face. I ended up taking the earrings out after a few weeks and will have them pierced elsewhere once they close.DO NOT GO HERE!

My daughter had her ears pierced at Rowan and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Healed perfectly and she loves them.

The place is beautiful, and the nurse was so kind! They also have a great variety of earrings to choose from. I got a mid helix, and it was so quick I barely felt it. The one thing I will say is the service is extremely expensive. 1 needle piercing is $35, then you have to buy the $20 cleaning spray, and the earring (each earring sold separately). The earring I chose was gorgeous, but it was $99. So overall I spent over $150 for one piercing, not including the tip. I definitely had a positive experience, but it is a lot of money.

Sorry to share this as the staff was very nice! But I’ve seen a lot of kids in here (some very young) so felt important to share.I went in for an impromptu post change for my tragus and conch piercings. The staff here was very nice and quick to accommodate, however the posts I was given were way too short for my piercings. A day or so later both pieces of jewelry began to become deeply embedded into my skin, to the point where they were being swallowed. I tried to remove my tragus piercing and after hours and lots of pain and upset, was unable to. I ended up going to Rebel & Rose just down the street where they let me know that if that if I hadn’t had these pieces of jewelry taken out professionally, my skin would have completely swallowed them due to the extremely short length of each post.if you’re interested in cartilage piercings or cartilage jewelry, Rebel & Rose is the way to go. Not to mention their jewelry is much less expensive while also very high quality.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I am left with a lesion on my ear from the piercing I received at Rowan Westport. I returned to the studio with concerns of the piercing not healing and was simply told I needed to switch to a different earring which I did. I was concerned a bubble was forming and was told there was nothing to worry about. I was even charged a fee for the visit on top of the piece of the new earring. I also tipped 20% for both providers which they decided to tip on not only the “service” but also the 4 earrings I purchased over the course of my visits.In short, if you want a giant bubble, infection that will require you to go to a dr and months of irritation this is the studio for you!

Very helpful staff! Reasonable piercing pricing.

I had no issues with the piercing itself. The nurses were super friendly and great! However, I would have appreciated some more transparency about the pricing. I got the very basic lobe piercings on both ears. I chatted with customer service for a quote, and they told me about $75 ($50 for the piercing, $25ish for the studs). This matched up with what I saw on the website-- there were dozens of studs and most of them were ~$19. However, when I got to my appointment, I was informed that the cheapest stud available was $60, and that I would have to purchase it if I wanted to get my ears pierced. Additionally, I was forced to purchase Rowans $20 cleaning aftercare spray, even though I already had my own saline solution at home. This rang up to about $130+ for a lobe piercing. I am not so much complaining about the price itself, but I feel that I was blindsided, and charged almost double what I was expecting.

Ear got infected after taking very good care (everything listed they give you & using the cleaning solution you buy from them). After 2 months I ended up having to take it out. Spent ~150 if not more with all the after care stuff.

It was a positive experience, the nurse that pierced my second hole was very nice and helpful. However, I don’t think it’s worth the price. $130 for a lobe piercing with a device is not worth it, you can go to a lot of other piercing places and have the same clean, safe experience for a lot less.

My experience getting my conch piercing at Rowan was fantastic! My nurse was friendly, helpful and efficient - I was in an out in 15 minutes! I’m very happy with my piercing and would recommend Rowan to anyone looking for a high quality, sterile and fun piercing experience

Would not recommend coming here unless you’re interested in low quality jewelry marked up to a high quality price! I had my ears pierced and spent $190 on the earrings ONLY ($336 total). When I attempted to remove the earrings 6 weeks later to change them out, one of the earrings came apart from its flimsy post. When I called the Rowan in Westport to ask about an exchange, I was told that this was not possible since “they shouldn’t break if you remove them correctly” and “the earring was intact when you left the store.” Extremely disappointing customer response and policy by Rowan. Save yourself the time and money and go to a real tattoo and piercing shop that stands behind its products!

I absolutely adore this piercing studio. It was so clean and the nurses are professional. I got my cartilage needle pierced today by a young woman named Ta’tiyana and she did an amazing job! I was nervous but she made me feel so comfortable, she was precise, quick and her after care education was extremely helpful!!!Thanks again

Took our 3 month old daughter to get ears pierced here. Her ears healed well, however 3 weeks later when we were able to change the earrings one fell out and one of the holes closed within an hour. Had to repay same price for new earrings and new piercing for one ear. I didn’t necessarily mind paying again but the people in the store were very rude both when i called before coming in and then while in the store. The nurses who actually did the piercing were great though. Pretty expensive for rude service in my opinion but it is a clean safe place to get an infants ears pierced.

We went to Rowan this past weekend to have our daughters ears done. It’s a very modern, clean state of the facility. We were welcomed promptly and taken in right away. She did great and her earrings look wonderful. If you want your infants ears done. Look no further than Rowan. We traveled over an hour and it was worth it. I got my helix pierced here and it went great! But the hoop I bought tarnished.. even though it’s supposedly gold plated sterling silver?!? I have had this happen to 2 earrings now.

A few months ago I decided I wanted to get pierced here because of all the great reviews I saw.Once I got pierced (2nd and 3rd lobe in both ears) all was good for about a few weeks, and they said after 30 days I would be able to change my earrings... well that never happened because to this day my ear has yet to heal properly.After going back today because I could no longer bare the pain they checked my ears and said that the earring back was a bit too short... this is something they could have and should have told me before they even put them into my ear. They gave me two options in order to salvage my ear piercings: fallbacks or ball piercings.I am pretty upset that I have wasted over $400 on my ears and this could have been avoided if they would have told me that the ball piercings were an option from the beginning.Recommend this place for children at best.
