This past week I went in for a more privately placed tattoo and just wanted to say how comfortable the artist made me. Totally dignified situation. And an incredible tattoo for a great price. Recommend this place over and over again.

Im just getting around to writing a review, Ive been a client of Memphiss for over 8 years now and have had over 15 tattoos done and 2 large reworks (coverup original and redo the image into new piece) along with a few piercings. Differences I noticed between Memphis and my previous artists: hes much quicker (doesnt drag out the process and waste my time), much much lighter hand so it cuts down on the pain, and he doesnt coddle me or kiss my a$$(I dont like coddling or a$$ kissing). I have never once felt uncomfortable in his shop or while hes doing the work. If I talk while he works, hell conversate with me; if Im on my phone or just being quit, hes good with that too. Im a very straight forward person and appreciate when others are. When Ive asked for professional perspective on an idea I was kicking around, he provided it without influencing my decision. Ive had a chest piece done and he was very professional, ensuring I remained covered and never once was there any inappropriate exposure or handling. I was and am completely comfortable with any piece he does for me and on any area of my body given how skilled and professional he is.

Went and got a lip tattoo last night he hyped himself up saying that most peoples don’t last long and that he was good and it and his lasted. 24hrs later and it is almost completely gone you can’t even tell what it says.

The guy pierced a septum and snake bites into my friends face. He wasn’t very quick and didn’t tell us the gauge of the septum was a 14g because he didn’t have a 16g. Didn’t warn us that it will be such big jewelry. He put on gloves but didn’t sanitize anything. He put them on and touched everything. That defeats the purpose of the gloves. I’ve gone to several piercing shops and they sanitize in front of you. He kept making excuses as to why it’s big and it’s not his fault even though there was no warning. Didn’t change gloves after touching her nose then the inside of her mouth. Didn’t have her rinse out her mouth. (I’ve had snakebites). The furniture was dusty. It looked it doesn’t get cleaned very often.I had a tattoo and used the same table to set his tattoo stuff on that he used for the piercings. The table looked dusty and dirty. At least he changed gloves After doing her piercings.He kept bashing other tattoo businesses that seem “below him” and it wasn’t very professional. He said black artists aren’t good but “very few are, I follow them on instagram!” Like that makes it any better. You don’t tell people how much better your business is than them, you show them.My next tattoo I’m going to rosenberg. Thank you though, Memphis, but I’ll pass.

Memphis did an awesome on my tattoo and I am ready for a new one. He is my go to for any and all tattoos. I love his work and can’t wait to get my new one.

Me and my bf went to go get tattoos and as my bf told him to touch up a bit on a spot he Seen not filled they guy rolled his eyes and told him “okay but that won’t do anything” very rude , don’t get me wrong tattoos came out good but I would not being going back here !!!!

He had to pierce me 2 times for my septum and still messed it up. Way way too low. I have to get it done elsewhere now. Not worth the pain nor the money.

I got my septum peirced and it was done crooked. Also it was done in the wrong spot. They also used the wrong kind of bar. They used a suface peircing bar for a septum peircing.

Got my nose pierced. Simple process and very quick. Great price too. Definitely will be back.

Boyfriend went and got his eye pierced. He walked in and walked out within 5 minutes. Dude gets it done☺️
