Geoff did an absolutely INCREDIBLE job!! Couldnt ask for a better piece! Cant wait to continue the sleeve. Definitely the best place in the valley for tattoos. Highly recommend!

Josh was the one who did this work. He tweaked a few things on the raven to make it look symmetrical and was better than the original photo when it was drawn up. The arrow had misspelled words on the original that he caught and adjusted. He has a great hand! The atmosphere is very chill, it a clean parlor, and the other artist is incredibly talented as well. I was able to get an appointment with in the week, and Josh was quick but thorough. I recomend this shop to everyone!!!! You wont regret it!!!

My wife and I scheduled with Josh garloch, he does amazing work and pays close attention to details. You can tell he takes pride in his work. The shop was clean and organized. We will be getting several other things done and will be returning to special effects.

I’ve been to 4 different tattoo shops and this was by far the best experience I’ve had! Geoff did an amazing job covering up/revitalizing a bad tattoo I had. I thought it was beyond help but he completely transformed it. He and Hannah were very funny and a great distraction from the 3.5 hours of pain!

Josh is one of the best tattoo artists i have ever met! Very professional all around and amazing at what they do! I will probably never go to another tattoo place as long as I live around here :)

I have recently got a few tattoos done by Victoria and they have turned out absolutely amazing and exactly what I have been wanting. Even though shes still learning shes doing great work, If youre looking to get something done I recommend seeing if she can do it!!!

I will never in my life will be tatted on by anyone but Geoff. I have several tattoos and I am starting my sleeve. Just moving to the area I had no idea where to go..SO HAPPY I found SPFX...Geoff does AMAZING custom work and was able to create a beautiful piece to cover up a 20 yr old tattoo that everyone said could not be covered. Not only is the old tattoo completely gone I now have a tattoo I’m proud to have, that I’m literally obsessed with! If you care about quality work and want beautiful tattoos..I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SPFX!!!

I took my mom to get mother daughter tattoos for mothers day. Hannah did a great job and we enjoyed ourselves while we were there. I will definitely return to have more work done.

While Geoff is still young in his career, hes become one of the most knowledgeable, and dedicated artists ive had the pleasure of getting tattooed by, so much so that I refuse to go to anyone else because his work is simply the best that the ohio valley and the entire tri state area has to offer, while there are other artists in the area, none of them imo care as much about giving you exactly what you want at a price that you can afford, so many other shops charge an arm and a leg and their work doesnt justify the price they expect the consumer to pay. Geoffs amassed a rather large clientele in the short 6 years hes operated his own business but even with the workload, he puts 110% effort into every tattoo he does. so if youre thinking about getting a new tattoo or need an atrocious piece of artwork fixed or covered up stop in to SPFX Tattooing and talk to him in person and get exactly what your looking for, you wont regret it
