Aspen was wonderful! Super quick response time to fit in a last minute appointment, same week, for myself and a friend. She was very kind, sincere, and straightforward making my first tattoo experience so easy. We loved Lady the shop dog, and felt assured by Aspens knowledge and expertise. 10/10, this is the spot in Whitefish!

This is in my opinion the best place for tattoos in the Flathead. I’ve been here twice, and both times received top notch quality art work on my skin. I love the ambiance, the location, and the people who are running it. I’m very selective on who tattoos me. And I’m glad to say that cutthroat makes the cut. Looking forward to getting more work done in the future and I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to stop by for a quick, dope experience or to someone wanting a personal custom meaningful tattoo like i have. Both Aspen and Thomas are amazing people and they match that in the quality of tattoos they do. So what are you waiting for? Go get ink done!!!

Awesome tattoo experience. Aspen was extremely patient with helping me find the perfect placement for my tattoo, she made me feel super comfortable to be there & I love the work she did! Light handed and cozy the entire time - would absolutely take a trip back to Montana to get a tattoo here. The shop is very clean and has great vibes with Sage/incense burning & they had a really good playlist on. Loved this place & I love my tattoo. Thank you guys!

I was in town for vacation, and wanted a tattoo.. they gladly accepted me as a walk in and drew up a tatt and I love it! Very friendly owners and bonus...very sweet shop dog!

We were visiting relatives in the area and decided last second about getting tattoos. After calling and speaking over the phone with Aspen about our tattoo ideas, we drove over and she was amazing from start to finish. Super kind, bubbly, and great at her profession. She made sure the font, size, and placement of the tattoo was what we wanted. She kept conversation flowing and you can just tell she loves what she does. She was phenomenal! Definitely will be back on our next visit out to Montana.

I dont write reviews very often, but this shop deserves a hundred! Im very well-traveled and not new to the tattoo scene .. these guys definitely stand out against the rest! They do beyond beautifully amazing work, are extremely professional, the cleanliness of the shop a superb, it was just an overall amazing experience. Such a great experience that Im traveling back up to Montana this fall - JUST to get tattooed again at Cutthroat ..and hopefully bringing some friends along! Thanks Thomas and Aspen! Aspen was awesome and accommodating on time. Four of us got a tattoo to comemorate the wonderful trip to Montana. Great work that we were all very happy with.

I return as a regular client not only for how satisfied I am with my tattoos but also for the great company and conversation. Both Thomas and Aspen are highly talented and take pride in what they do and their business. They will draw any idea you have into something even more spectacular, I assure you! I’ve been tattooed all over the world and never have I ever seen such AWESOME work. On Saturday February 12th, 2022 I walked into Cutthroat Tattoo with a friend of mine. We were coming to a close on our visit to Montana and wanted something to remember it by. Right when we walked in the door we were greeted warmly. While waiting for an artist to speak with us we looked at all of the amazing artwork in the walls. Wow! Aspen then came over to us and talked to us about the ideas we had. Right away I knew we were in good hands. I felt taken care of and that she was genuinely excited to tattoo my idea. After waiting only a short moment while drawing my tattoo, I filled out a waiver. I had to initial each of the boxes indicating I understood everything about the process of getting a tattoo. During this time, several others walked into the shop to talk about their tattoo ideas. Every conversation was handled professionally and it was so much fun to overhear other ideas. Once the waiver was completed, I was called over to the tattoo station. The preparation was done with care, along with the placement of the stencil. I am so excited at this point and Aspen only continues to better the experience with fantastic conversation. Listening to her talk to Thomas while he tattoos his client is fun to be a part of. The entire room becomes one and it’s filled with such energy. I can see why people come back to do this so often! The tattoo did not hurt as I had expected. Aspen made sure that I was okay. She was very kind throughout the process and made me feel so comfortable. Before you know it, it was over and I now have a tattoo!! A clean crisp perfect lovely piece that I can call mine. What an experience! This is by far the BEST serviced I’ve EVER experienced. FAIR pricing. CLEAN shop. PROFESSIONAL atmosphere. SPECTACULAR work. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! And if you are the type of person that actually reads long ridiculous paragraphs such as this... please note to disregard the obnoxious one star review left by Eric. After having heard amazing things about this place, doing the research and coming in for myself, I can honestly say everything he said is a bunch of Bull Cheese. GREAT job to Cutthroat Tattoo! I couldn’t have asked for such an enjoyable experience EVERY time!I also wanna add that Thomas can work with WHATEVER style you want! He is so freaking good at his job! Absolutely love this tattoo shop. This was my first of many traveling tattoos and I couldnt imagine going anywhere else! The service provided and the personal experience surpassed my wildest dreams. Tom hand drew my new favorite tattoo and fully captured what I was looking for and wanted. If I lived closer he would be my one and only artist.

I was visiting Montana on my first family vacation a few weeks ago, and my sister and I dropped in to get tattoos together! Aspen was our artist, and was extremely helpful and professional, and walked me through everything as this was my first tattoo. It turned out fantastic and healed perfectly!

We were on the last day of our vacation and the fit us in. Aspen did an amazing job on tattoos for me and my wife. Her and Tim were super friendly and we had a great time while we were they. I would highly recommend them.

Got my first tattoo and knew kind of what I wanted but had no clear picture(Great for a person who is habitually indecisive). When I showed up Thomas has a few ideas ready for me. I liked the style on one with posing on the other. He went back and redrew it and we made a few changes requiring a few redraws until we came up with a great final product! They were great about walking through all of the steps of the process for me and my fiance, tattoo novices. I would(will) definitely go back!

We walked in at about 12:30 and asked to get tattoos that day. Aspen was able to fit us in same day. She was fantastic through the whole process and was extremely helpful in getting the right tattoos that we wanted. Very friendly and professional.

Clean shop with beautiful artwork! My cousin and I had Matt do our tattoos over the weekend and he was great. He drew up a design that was exactly what we were thinking of and was professional, friendly, and funny! 100% recommend this place.

Awesome experiences both times I was there. My artist was Aspen, and she was not only extremely nice and professional, both of my tattoos turned out amazing. If you’re going to get a tattoo in the Flathead Valley, this is the place.

Great place if you are looking for a tattoo in whitefish. We had a group of 4 which they worked us in so we could get it done during our vacation. Pricing was very reasonable and our artist was very good and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place. If you are on vacation plan ahead and get on there schedule as they are very busy.

I have 7 tattoos Ive gotten from cutthroat tattoo since they have been downtown bigfork. Its my favorite shop and both Aspen and Thomas do amazing and talented work!

Had a coverup done by Thomas. He did an excellent job. His lines were clean and his shading was great. His staff was very friendly and his shop was very clean. Thanks guys. I will be back for more work.

My friend and I had the worst experience here!!! She wouldn’t let us see her putting new needles on or anything and we we’re back to back appointments she completely butchered my friends and i tattoos!!!!! Do not make appointments with tattoo artists on a review big mistake!!! I’m not going to name her only because I’m not that person!!!!!!
