This is truly the most welcoming and comfortable environment someone can ask for when going to get a tattoo. Not only did my experience with Alma and Taylor for my tattoos were truly amazing and best work I’ve had done, but also the energy and passion of every artist in the shop is amazing. I went in person to look at the different styles and to discuss a future tattoo. I left my contact info with one of the guys and I even messaged the tattoo artist on Facebook (as I was told to by the shop). I have attempted to reach out and have yet to hear back and it’s been weeks. Very unprofessional.

Highly recommend, been going for years, all amazing artists. Ask for CEEFUS!

Personally Idc what the few ppl with bad reviews have to say. I personally enjoyed the environment and got to speak with a lot of the artists. Everyone was very kind. Manny is one of the very talented artists that tattooed my own artwork on me and it came out almost better than the actual artwork i provided. Took a few hours (3-4 hours with a couple breaks in between) which is not bad at all for the size and details of the tattoo. I really enjoyed this spot and i plan on coming back for more. In fact they inspired me to possibly become an apprentice for the shop which i will definitely consider once i speak with the owner. Nonetheless this one of, if not, the best tattoo shop in the 219 area

Recently got two tattoos by Bruno. Tattoo on my back was not aligned with the other name on back. The placement was way off. Now it make sense that he only showed me a picture of the name not my whole back. Called several times to try to speak to Bruno no response. I will not recommend anyone to this location!

Got my last tattoo here, spurr of the moment thing. I went in as a walk in and Weird_ink was super friendly and helpful! He helped me design my last minute tattoo, and it came out so beautiful! He made me feel extremely comfortable, and his art work is amazing! I will definitely be back asap.

Alma is absolutely incredible and did such a wonderful job!!! I never felt uncomfortable and she helped bring the design concept together so well, even gave me options!! 10/10 will be back many more times!!

Bruno Did my last tattoo it was beyond my expectations His work is amazing was very professional. Made sure I was comfortable and and by far the shop exceeded my expectations hands down the best place ever to go

Khiry did an amazing job on a scar cover-up. He took something ugly and made it beautiful. He is extremely thoughtful about his design and thorough in his work and technique. I will only go to him from now on and higly recommend him. Studio is super clean and great vibe. Highly recommend!

My first tattoo from LuckyKat was with this cool artist, weird_ink. My boy did an awesome doing a chain tattoo and from the looks of artwork, I recommend seeking this young fellow! Got lots of potential and hope he continues his journey as a tattoo artist ! :D

Highly recommend Lucky Kat Tat to anyone living in Illinois/Chicago or visiting. The owner is Cesar Romero and his work is incredible as well, plus the nicest and personable artist around !! I am from NYC/Minneapolis and they whole Lucky Kat Tat TEAM were so welcoming. I have been honored to be tattooed over the past 25 years by my close friends JonDix, Thomas Hooper, Andrea Elston and Yoni Zilber. So, I am feeling blessed and grateful to have found these talented artists in Chicago !!! Keep doing great work :)

The owner Cesar is notoriously known for blowing off appointments. He is a great artist but you have to wait months for an appointment with him and hell cone up with some lame excuse as to why he has to cancel. Did it to me 3 times and then doesnt have the decency to reschedule you in a timely manner , you have to wait a few more months. That is not a way to run a business let alone treat another human being with disregard and disrespect. There are a lot of good tat artist out there that treat you the way you should be treated. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

My sister, her friend, my friend, and I all went to Caela. Simply put, she was amazing! We all loved her and our tattoos. She is very calming and wonderful. She had all four of us in and out in under 2 hours. Thanks so much Caela! We love them. (The picture is of the tattoo only a few hours after, not healed).

Nice place and Joey is an AMAZING artist!!! He fixed some tattoos on my boyfriend that NOONE would touch, and ythat I could NEVER even see WTF it was. He fixed it with a few lines & NOW it looks GREAT!!!! Then he did a lot of new work on him, and EVERY SINGLE ONE is PERFECT, they matches the pictures EXACTLY, and he free-handed quite a few ALL OF HIS WORK has the sharpest, cleanest, straightest lines I have ever seen!!! He is a PERFECTIONIST & takes so much pride in EVERY line he tats!!! Highly recommend him

Place is great!!! all the artists are very professional. Joey has done allot of work on me from fixing shity work to pictures and free hand stuff. He is the man!! I wont go anywhere else to get ink anymore. they are the only place.

High quality artists here. I came here for my first tattoo after a long time of deciding on who I should go to. Felix did my tattoo although I heard he moved to a different shop the other artists are great.

I was lucky enough to experience a tattoo infection from this studio. Upon contacting the owner, Cesar Romero, he instructed me to treat it with neosporin. I had to go to urgent care to have this infection treated. Thank you Lucky Kat Tat for the experience and the bill.
