I got my bridge piercing done here about a year or two ago and it was an EXTREMELY bad experience. Piercing/tattoo places will always have you sign an agreement before getting their services, which is normal and totally fine, but when I was reading through their acknowledgment form I noticed that one of the statements said “I acknowledge that I may be getting pierced by an apprentice” and I was like huh? So I asked the dude(owner) about it and he looked at me kinda funny and said “Oh.. people don’t usually notice that part of the contract…” which is a SUPER shady thing to admit to?? Like I mentioned, this was a couple years ago so I was a bit younger and a very nervous person in general, so I didn’t say anything else and I just tried to ignore that weird interaction and get the piercing since I was already there. Bad mistake :( the girl who was my piercer used the clamp that’s usually used for tongue piercings, except on the BRIDGE OF MY NOSE. It was weird but again I was young and nervous so I didn’t say anything. So, she had the skin between my eyebrows clamped together and then she took out the piece of jewelry from a drawer behind her. Which, looking back, was SUPER unsanitary. You need to sanitize any jewelry before inserting it into a literal fresh wound. She did not. She then got the needle out and shoved it through the skin very quickly. Long story short it came out crooked. When I got up and looked in the mirror, I could tell it was kinda off. She looked at me and said that one side was swelling more than the other and that it would look normal once the swelling went down. Which is actually crazy!! They charged me $80 for this. I ended up realizing that it wasn’t the swelling that was making it look weird, and that she had just pierced it crooked, so I ended up taking it out within 36 hours of getting it done. Looking back, there was no way she could have been precise with the placement because of the way she had my skin all clamped together when she pushed the needle through. And at the end of everything, she gave me a zip-lock bag full of table salt with instructions on how to make my own saline solution at home. That is how you get an infection folks. A bag of table salt is not sterile and very unsanitary :( it’s not safe to be flushing out a fresh wound with that. Even though this happened a year or two ago, I still wanted to come back and write a review to warn others about the shady practices of this establishment.

Went here today for my daughters first tattoo. The place is super clean. And Freddy was really nice and welcoming. He throughly went over everything with us. Making sure she got exactly what she wanted and how she wanted it. And didnt rush through it. Great prices too. We will definitely be back.

Me and my best friend called and asked about walkins. They took us immediately we both got medium sized tattoos from Cristal and we loved them. So fast. Great line work. Great personality. Great quality. Also got a piercing earring changed and they did it all. Will definitely be back.

This shop acts as a front for a pretty slick scam. The owner is always advertising for help and bringing in apprentices. The owner is a fast and slick talker (a classic confidence man) who will say when you come in to interview that his “program” is approved by the MRC vocational program and that you must apply to this program in order to pay him $7500 through that. However his program actually costs $12,500 so you will still owe him 5,000 while working as an apprentice in the shop. Essentially he is gaming both the Vocational program and the apprentice.After waiting for the owner for an hour, the owner seemed more interested if an apprentice prospect (mark) had brought money with them. He refused to hand a contract to a prospective apprentice until that person handed him $1,000. Can you imagine not even being allowed to read over what you are agreeing to without giving this guy $1,000?The owner kept pushing about how much could this prospect afford to pay? (Answer is everything but slick wasn’t told that)Wisely this particular person decided to not hand over the money and was told by the owner “I wasted ink printing this out for you”.That’s the other thing if you don’t do as he says you will see the “other side” of slick fast enough to make your head spin.I understand it’s hard to get your foot in the door of this business but I would encourage people seeking training to go elsewhere.I can not even imagine how the people in the shop are treated when the camera isn’t rollingSo if you have ever wondered why there is an endless stream of apprentices here, I’ve now told you.I mean the place is clean, the tattoos are mostly OK. The piercing I had done there was sterile and healed well despite being done with the wrong type of jewelry.But my feeling is that this business should not be supported because of the shady practices going on.Proceed at your own risk.

Went for my teenagers bday, got a piercing. Great service, she was very focused and clean. Will go back for another piercing and/or tattoos!!

First time at Xotic. I had Cristal. She was awesome. Love her vibe. Cant wait to see her again.

Becca did me and my sisters hidden helix piercing, and she was super nice, efficient and professional. Sterilized everything in front of me and explained each move she was making as well as how the healing process will go and what to expect. 10/10 recommend!

Ive gotten so many tattoos from apprentices when the shop first started. I absolutely love Freddy he is such a wholesome, funny, hardworking talented dude. A bunch of my friends have gotten tattoos from him but Ive gone with others in the shop. Will have to change that soon

I came in here as a walk in after getting multiple piercings here, this place was amazing. I was tattooed by duke and he did such a good job. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Definitely coming back for more tattoos!

We stumbled upon this place & if you believe everything happens for a reason, this says it’s all. My daughter has been asking to get her nose pierced for over a year. As a family, we finally agreed upon it & as an early milestone achievement we said she could get it done, if she could find a place that could take her as a walk in. And she found Xotic.From our first phone call to an after appointment follow up, the owner and staff were outstanding. The whole shop is a vibe that made the experience A+. We live closer to the city where options are endless but the stars aligned & landed us 45 minutes from home at Xotic Creations Tattoo.Can’t recommend this place enough as a safe, sanitary, professional & calming yet thrilling atmosphere. Thank you for caring for my daughter like family.

Got two piercings in one sitting with Samantha. Very kinda and professional as well as a clean, sterile environment.The shop itself was clean and comfortable. Every employee I interacted with was very kind and polite as well.Happy to have my ears pierced by Sam and will definitely be returning for the next ones!

Was looking for a place for my 10 year old to get her ears pierced and I called here and was met with so much joy and happiness that we couldn’t wait to go check it out. Freddy was wonderful and insightful and just had something so nice about him we went for the quick ride to check them out. They talked to my 10 year old like she was an adult (which is awesome because she is pretty mature for her age) and I ended up getting my nose pierced by Hannah. Hannah was gentle and informative and walked my daughter through what she would do when she goes back for her piercings. We loved Hannah’s personality and warmness. I know tattoo and piercing places are not something people refer to as “family friendly” but this shop is! Looking forward to many piercings and tattoos with this shop!

This place it’s so unprofessional I booked an appointment and made a deposit to secure my appointment. This place isn’t even close by but I was still willing to make the trip as they were the only place I knew that was providing that service. As I’m already halfway to them from a two hour drive the piercer claims she didn’t have a way to get in touch with me to tell me an emergency occurred. Granted things do happen but when I scheduled my appointment they had my information so there was no excuse in why she couldn’t reach out to me. That was booked last Friday. It’s been a WEEK later had called several times to get my deposit back and they had yet refund me. I called for the second time today to see what’s the delay in refunding me because after all I shouldn’t wait a week to get my money back for one of the male employees to say it was my fault. 🤦‍♀️…. Yes it was my fault to trust that they would be professional to conduct business accordingly which unfortunately they do not. If you book here. Prepare for the worst.

Jay is an extremely talented and professional tattoo artist. His work is beautiful. Alexandria is an amazing piercer. She walked me through the whole process and put any anxiety at ease. The shop is clean, inviting and comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Freddy and his team are awesome to work with. Becca has done great work with my tattoos and pierced my daughters ears. She is a delight to work with.

Samantha is amazing!! I had a belly button piercing done a year ago from another place which I was having problems with and she fixed it- super knowledgeable about what to use on keloids and inflamed piercings. Very comfortable environment and will definitely recommend to other people!

The place we initially had a appointment with, was a no call, text email show. So we hustled to find another place. The piercing was for my daughters 18th birthday and we were just walk-in. We told them them the situation and they were so nice about it! Alex was so great, understanding and so professional! Can’t wait to go back!!

My Artist was Jay!! this being my first tattoo, I was very nervous…Jay made me feel comfortable and was extremely patient!! He worked very hard On the Sketch for my tattoo & made sure I was comfortable!will be returning for more work!!Wish it was a better way to communicate with your personal artist to discuss future artwork, instead of day of actual tattoo appointment, draw up a few sketchers send it to your customer get their opinion on the sketches prior to them coming in for the appointment 😉

Everyone at this shop was super friendly but the artwork itself was not to be expected. I asked for a very simple heart on my ankle, light line work (the tattoo was done by Freddy; the owner). It came out unsymmetrical and lines are thicker in spots. I cannot imagine if my tattoo was super detailed and much larger, how would it come out if my tiny, non-detailed piece was messed up. I would not recommend going here. I posted the picture of the tattoo (don’t mind my dirty shoes). The tattoo is completely healed and that is the final product. I understand that a touch-up would fix this but I truly don’t trust him because it’s possible to be messed up a second time. Do your research and make sure you know what you’re getting yourself into... this is on your skin forever.

The owner helped me out with the daith piercing. He was so meticulous I felt like I was in good hands! That piercing has actually stopped my daily headaches since January. 3 solid months. Going in tonight to have it changed out. Can’t wait to get another one!

If you are in search of a shop where the owner down to the employees is dishonest, this is your place. You can ask 100 times for a skilled and experienced person only to be handed over to an apprentice who denies being one or in training.Then move on to being insulted by both the owner and the piercer as if you were the one who performed the piecing and tour dissatisfaction (in their minds) is your fault.DO NOT GIVE THIS SHOP YOUR BUSINESS UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE PHYSICALLY SCARRED, OUT OF THE MONEY PAID, AND FORCED TO GO THROUGH THE EXPERIECE AGAIN ELSEWHERE.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE, PLEASE !!! I asked for my daughters name, very simple on the shoulder, work with light, thin lines. It was asymmetrical and the lines are thicker in some places. I cant imagine if my tattoo was super detailed and much bigger, as it would be if my tiny, non-detailed piece was messed up. I would not recommend going here. I posted the photo of the tattoo. maybe a touch up would solve that, but I dont really trust him because its possible to be confused a second time. I dont know who she tattooed with, but the name of the girl who made mine is Alexandra. I dont trust the owners either because they laughed and said that she had done a great job! it was horrible and now im really sad and disappointed!

Love this shop and the owner! Had my belly button done here, took it out for an MRI… Mirage (piercer) got it back through for me so seamlessly. Positive vibrations.

The owner is a great person that is very passionate about his craft and his customers. Even if you are not getting a tattoo and just need some artistic assistance this is the place to go. Got my first tattoo here and will be going back to get the rest of them here.

DONT GET PIERCED HERE!!!!! Warning you will be disfigured. The piercer doesn’t know what she’s doing she pierced my cheeks and went through my saliva glands causing me to drool out of my piercings until I got my face cauterized. She still an apprentice and she’s piercing on her own without her mentor with her he was tattooing someone while she was piercing. I asked for a refund because they messed up my piercing so bad and I got no response. Super unprofessional do not ever come here for a piercing!!!!! I’d give it no stars if I could
