I am deeply disappointed with my recent experience at Claires. My 4-year-old daughter had an appointment scheduled for 5:30 PM CST on September 14, 2023. However, when we arrived at the store, the gate was closed, and a sign indicated that they were open from 11 AM to 7 PM. We had even called ahead to schedule piercings, and we made a 45-minute trip just for this occasion.Whats truly frustrating is that we had called the day before, on September 13, 2023, to see if we could get in a day earlier. The employee we spoke to declined our request, citing an illness. While I understand that employees can get sick, what I cant comprehend is why they werent open during the approved date and time. This level of unprofessionalism is simply unacceptable.My daughter was left in tears, and I was left feeling incredibly let down. I understand that there might be employee shortages, but theres no excuse for such foolishness. I would strongly advise against anyone with children who cant understand unprofessionalism from visiting Claires. This experience has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I hope they take customer commitments more seriously in the future.

The new manager is horrible, rude, and irresponsible. She leaves her keys for the store at the store and forces her assistant manager to come in on her time off to open the store for her and not pay her for doing so.She accuses the assistant manager being short 9 dollars when in fact the assistant identified it was actually 10 over.The new manager hires her personal friend to work at Claires cutting the hours of 2 amazing employees.Then she argues that full time is 30 hours when the district leader said 32 is...but then cuts the hours down to 25 hours for the assistant to give them hours to her personal friend she hired showing favoritism.Then the manager made the assistant come in on her actual day off to educate the manager cause the manager didnt have experience nor ear piercing certification and made the assistant work off the clock and not get paid.Then the store manager stays past 7 at night when the store closed at 6 only to say she didnt have time to staple paperwork together.The store manager does nothing to help with unloading/checking in the shipments.The two amazing employees I know have now put in their two week notice which is sad, but very proud of them both for making a stand and not putting up with the store manager.I wrote a complaint for them two as well cause no employees should ever be treated the way they were. I seriously hope legal action is taken against the company and they file a complaint with the department of labor.I will never shop at Claires ever again since the two most amazing employees I know wont be working there any more.

My two sisters and I were looking around in claires. We were looking at earrings as a big employee with brown hair approached us. She asked if we needed help and I simply said no were just looking my 11 year old sister had a ring in her hand that we were going to buy. The employee asked my sister if she wanted her to hold the ring at the counter for her. My 11 year old sister, not understanding what she meant, said no its okay the employee then ripped the ring out of my sisters hands and said well then I guess I can put it back for you right? Me and my sisters looked at her because we had no clue what just happened or why she took the ring we were going to purchase. she then came up to us and said with an attitude is there a problem? I saw both of you giving me dirty looks (we were looking at her because we confused and thought she didnt hear my sister say no about bringing the ring to the counter.) I said no, we were going to buy that ring and she then said (with an attitude of course) okay well this is my store so I was completely amazed at how rude she was. That is the worst customer service Ive ever had. This 30 year old woman should not work at a place with people if she doesnt know how to treat people. She just caused claires to loose 3 customers, as we used to go there all the time.

Made an order online, and the final price was not displayed during the checkout process nor after making the purchase--I learned the final price in a confirmation email from PayPal. With the cost of shipping, the items were way overpriced. I Immediately emailed Claires to cancel the order. I heard nothing back from them for TWO days and then it was an email to say they had shipped the items! Upon receipt of the items in the mail, I marked refused return to sender to send them back via USPS. Ive been hassling with Claires since 08/21/19--15 days now. Claires to date claims they have not received the items back. I am SO sick of the headache regarding this unnecessary situation. AND my order never has appeared in the order history of my account in their website. Totally odd. Dont order from Claires online!!!!!!!!!

I forgot her name. She’s great though very knowledgeable with piercings & jewelry. She has a cute tattoo on her arm & a sag necklace. If you see her in there you’ll be in GREAT hands.

I got my ears pierced there for the first time. It was fine at first but the front of my ear and the back of my ear don’t match up with the piercing. So one side of my piercing is higher up then the other side. So it’s impossible to get earrings in. Plus I got my ears pierced 2 years ago and they are STILL infected. I definitely don’t recommend this place to anyone

I have to say Thank you,thank you and Thank you again to the young lady for her FANTASTIC SERVICE and the patience she showed my child(who is deaf) and every child during the two hour span we were there. She went above and beyond for my daughter and is an extraordinary example of what all employees should be. (Willmar,MN) 3/18/21 6 p.m.

Love claires! The ladies are so friendly! And they have a way with the babies, whom get their ears pierced.

Was so busy and only one person was working. That when we wanted to check out she was busy entertaining another person when she could have had a huge sale from me but I just left.

Great place. Excellent service. Great with kids for getting ear pierced. Lots of selection
