Vyx provided the best piercing experience I’ve ever had. I got my second ear piercing on both sides and they walked me through everything from the piercing itself to the cleaning process after. 10/10 would recommend!

Recommend Tattoo Galaxy. One day I decided “I want a tattoo” so I decided to go to Tattoo Galaxy. Let me tell you. The vibes there, cleanliness, the people there (Josh & Vyxx) amazing! I went to get my first ever tattoo on my right forearm by Josh. Great tattoo artist. He sanitized everything which is always good. He talked me through the tattoo since it was my first ever and I was so nervous but the pain wasn’t as bad as I thought. After it was done, he gave me an aftercare sheet and tips on how to take care of my tattoo. Recommend my friend to get a lower back tattoo and she said it was great! I went back for a 2nd tattoo on my upper right arm and didn’t feel anything. 10/10 would recommend.

I got my septum gauged a few days ago from Raven and I can honestly say I’ve never felt more comfortable in my own skin. From start to finish, Raven ensured I was well informed on the piercing procedure. Her professionalism, pay attention to detail, and dedication to her craft made my experience well worth it and ensured my safety. Good piercer i got a stud in my nose, my friend got a smiley, however I was overcharged because she didn’t think to tell me there wasn’t a register even before the piercing I said I would use cash, I gave in a hundred for that, a small stud piercing ! and couldn’t get my change back overall I really wish i would’ve went someplace else not gonna lie.

Ive had 3 piercings done here (2 by Vyxx and 1 by Raven) and theyre absolutely amazing! I got my ears pierced by Vyxx a bit over a week ago and cannot recommend her work enough! As a baseline, the environment of Tattoo Galaxy is incredibly clean and inviting. Vyxx was an absolute professional from start to finish, and its clear that shes exceptionally skilled in her craft. The piercing process itself was quick, clean, and relatively painless. But Vyxx went above and beyond even aside from her clear expertise as a piercing artist. I was a bit indecisive about what jewelry I wanted, and she gave excellent insight with consideration for how it would interact with my existing ear piercings. Overall I am extremely happy with how my new piercings look, but Im also thrilled with my overall experience. I definitely know where Ill be going for any future piercings!

Very knowledgeable & talented piercing & tattoo employees. Well trained, knows their art, and great selections for piercing jewelry. My daughter tried calling & visiting other places to have her dath ear piercing replaced with something nicer, but most other places couldn’t (or wouldnt) replace. So we found this place in Google Maps, called & went right over - my daughter got a beautiful opal looking dath ear ring to replace her older greying titanium one. Looks much nicer! You cant go wrong with Tattoo Galaxy!

I was extremely nervous to get my nose pierced after a bad experience with a belly button piercing 10 years ago (my last one), so I did a ton of research and I’m so glad I landed on Jay. My nerves started to calm immediately upon meeting him. He was super nice and friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and did a great job explaining everything and answered all of my questions. He even gave good advice about the different jewelry options and the pros/cons of the different shapes/sizes. It’s been a few days and my piercing is so far healing really well thanks to his aftercare advice. I will definitely go back to him if I decide to get any other piercings!

Went to Jay today to get a nose and helix piercing and was definitely nervous for my first cartilage piercings! But he was so warm and friendly and put me right at ease. He followed a very sterile technique with the piercings and had the procedures down to a science. Highly recommend! Will definitely be back for earring changes and a couple more piercings :)

The piercer Jay who did my piercing was very tolerant and helped me through it when I was nervous since I’m only 16. He shows and tells you everything he is doing and then at the end gives you a demo on how to clean it and take care of it and even gives you a pamphlet to hold onto that has everything he went over and even had measurements for the salt and water solution. They are a fantastic company and try to get you in and out as fast as possible. I highly recommend them!

I recently got my first tattoo ever from Joseph at the Willow Grove location. I have only excellent things to say about him; he was extremely knowledgeable especially considering it was my first, he was able to provide me with every single piece of information id want to know while also being super approachable and patient for my questions. I definitely wanted and trusted Josephs opinion for the placement and artwork of my tattoo and it turned out to be perfect for me. Being my first tattoo, Joseph made a noticeable effort to make sure that I understood and trusted that the equipment was sterile and safe. Went here for the Friday the 13th flash tattoo event. Awesome place, chill vibes, and great crew. Brian stayed way past closing to accommodate my wife and I and we loved our tattoos. He was very patient and did exactly what we asked and did it perfectly. Also, the receptionist was super sweet and friendly and made sure to keep us updated about how long it would be before we were next. Definitely would recommend.

Honestly, I hate this place. I had a bad experience at both their ambler and willow grove locations. I got ear piercings put in at the ambler location and they both fell out after 4 weeks. I got a ring put in at willow grove and it got seriously infected. I then booked an appointment and attempted to cancel but there was no option on their piercer’s website to cancel. Only to book and fill out a release. Finally he called to see if I was coming to the appointment and I explained and he denied and blamed me for not taking care of my piercing and that I did not examine his website thoroughly.Just don’t want anyone to have to go through all that for 3 poor quality pieces of work. ✌🏼

I went to Tattoo Galaxy yesterday at the last minute to get a daith piercing, which Id been thinking about for a long time because of migraines. I didnt know where to go, but saw the good reviews and nobody else was open on Sunday. Im so happy about that!! Im never going anywhere else. Jay was incredible. He was very professional, honest, and friendly. Everything was explained to me and I wasnt pushed into anything I wasnt comfortable with or didnt want. Hes very easy to hold a conversation with too. It was a great experience and like I said, Ill never go anywhere else. I highly recommend them.

The piercer there is fantastic. He does an excellent job and is very knowledgeable; he has done several piercings for my girlfriend. Additionally he is very accommodating and helpful; he even once looked at and helped my girlfriend with a newer piercing, even though she actually got the piercing at another piercing service, and he didnt even ask for anything for doing so. They are very professional and their equipment and location is kept in great, clean condition. In the future we will be going here for all piercings and most tattoos and we cant recommend them enough.

Jay did my tounge piercing he was super knowledge. I thought I had to get it re-pierced but he was able to put the earring in one of the previous holes. Very honest guy. Saved me money. If I get any more piercings I will be going back there. Super Professional. And friendly. 5 stars all the way.

Got a septum piercing from Jay - hes legit. A total professional. I was nervous because of what I had read on the internet (my bad for believing Dr. Google). But I barely felt it, as promised by Jay. Ive been getting pierced for the last 20 years and this was my easiest one. Other important factors - 100% clean & efficient process. Id definitely recommend Jay for your piercing needs.

I walked in requiring about nose piercing. The guy had a horrible attitude at the service desk. I only ask a simple question. He answered very sarcastic. I had my 2 daughters 13yo & 18yo with me. We left there very disappointed and offended. I will never recommend anyone do business with them!!!

I have never left a negative review for a business until now. Unfortunately my experience with this tattoo/piercing studio compelled me to write my first bad review. My teenage daughter has been wanting to get her ears pierced for several years now and her father and I agreed that she could finally get them done. She found this studio on-line and asked to me to take her here based on the reviews. I called the Willow Grove location to make an appointment and the man on the phone told me that since my daughter is a minor, we would need photo ids. He asked me if my last name was the same as my daughters. I replied yes, and he told me our passports would be sufficient. We planned our evening around having her ears done and drove an hour to the studio. My daughter was so excited to finally get her ears pierced and had prepared herself mentally for the piercing. We were greeted by a woman at the desk who asked us for our ids. I presented her with our passports. The piercer, I assumed, since he never actually introduced himself to us, approached the desk and told me that in addition to the passports he needed her birth certificate. I explained that I didn’t bring her birth certificate because his staff had not advised me to. He said the passports were not sufficient to prove her identity. I understand strict policy in this litigious society and enforcing it as a business even though it makes no sense to me: I can take my daughter to have a medical procedure without needing her birth certificate, I can take her out of the country with only her passport, yet I cannot get her ears pierced without her birth certificate? There are plenty of legitimate studios that do not require more than photo id. However, my issue is not with the policy itself but with customer service and lack of communication/inconsistency. If this policy was so paramount, then why didn’t the staff member on the phone ask me to bring her birth certificate in and saved us hours of driving and disappointment? Obviously there is inconsistency in what their staff believes to be required. This policy was also not posted in their waiting area, nor is it on their web site. I have since learned that the piercers name was Jay after scouring their web site for this policy. Jay turned us away by smugly saying that “mistakes happen” and there was a “miscommunication”. He did not apologize for it, nor did he attempt to make any concessions as to offer us an appointment the next day or a discount of some sort for the “miscommunication” on his staff’s part or his part. From a customer service stand point, they failed miserably. They didn’t care to make amends. In fact, as we walked out of the studio, Jay called after us “It’s 2019!”, which I have to assume meant that in 2019 customers shouldn’t expect consistency in policies between staff members, courteous and compassionate staff nor apologies from businesses when they have made a mistake that causes clients aggravation and disappointment. Buyer beware, they really don’t care.

JAY WAS EXCELLENT!Thorough, hygienic, meticulous (in the kind of way you want someone to be when they’re coming at you with a needle to your face!). But above all he was KIND, PATIENT and FUN! Me and 5 girlfriends went out for what will live on as the most memorable Galentine’s Day to date. All 6 of us got a piercing - from lobes to noses to helix to tragus. Jay stayed 3 hours after his shift ended to take care of us. He didnt rush us or make us feel like an imposition. Jay was informed, funny, calm, and put everyone at ease. He obviously knows what he’s doing and was insistent we reach out if anything goes wrong in our healing process saying “help is always free”. If anyone I know is getting a piercing I would not hesitate in recommending Jay! :D

I walked into the shop with my family in willow Grove and met Floyd. He was very nice and gave me good information and answered all of my questions. Im 55 years old and was getting my first tattoo, as well the first for my daughter. My two older sons already have tattoos. We all got autism puzzle pieces in support of my youngest son. Place is super clean I got a forward helix and a second nose piercing. Jay was the most professional and patient piercer Ive ever had. There is so many options in jewelry love it! Tigers eye and red jade 😍

I came in yesterday to get a very small and simple tattoo. The shop was really cool and the workers were nice however I am not satisfied at all. I got a line tattoo and it does not look like how I wanted at all, the lines are not straight and it was over priced. I don’t believe the person who did my tattoo is even a tattoo artist now that I’m reading the reviews again.

As far as tattoo artists go, Mike is top notch. He is very personable and very professional. Makes you almost forget hes stabbing you a thousand times. His line work is sharp. Black and white shading is amazing. I can not wait to get back to get my work finished. So if youre looking to get your first tattoo done or looking for a new artist. Mike is your guy. Ive had two tattoos done by Michael Horn (one of the best artists there) and I am more then happy with them. His sharp line work as well as magnificent use of color makes a piece very vivid. I highly recommend him for any tattoo you may want. Hell make it worth while.

Got my Septum pierced by Jay. He was amazing, put music on to keep me comfortable and overly explained(in the best way possible) what I should expect. Its been 2 weeks and its healing perfectly. Ill be coming back for more!!

Donel was a fabulous tattoo artist. My daughter and i wanted the same tattoo to memorialize my late daughter. She wanted it to be tiny and mine was larger, but the same. They look great! Jay - Piercer. INCREDIBLY knowledgeable, friendly, warm. Re-pierced my belly button and pierced my septum. SUPER clean. Love my piercings and the the experience was incomparable. I will definitely come back here for all of my piercing needs.

I got my nose pierced there. Staff were extremely warm and professional. Jay explained the process as he went along and educated me on maintenance. I was terrified but it was a great experience. Ill be going there to get my next tattoo. I wont go anywhere else!

I went in to schedule my appointment for my first tattoo a week in advance. Went in and the only day I was available was a Wednesday. And even though they said they dont normally do Wednesdays they let me come in anyway.The girl at the desk was nice, but she was wearing unbottoned shorts and had cuts and scars all up and down her legs. ( not judging but not something you want to see going into somewhere thats supposed to be sterile. )I go in on my scheduled day, and was greeted by a toddler running around in a diaper.I had given them exactly what I wanted, and when I was shown his drawing it was different, I had him change a few things and we were all set.And was also told it would be a different price then what I was originally told , by almost $50While he was getting set up he made a comment to his wife (the girl at the counter) about how they had to come in on a Wednesday. A)you could have said no B) at least wait til I leave.He did wear gloves and it was all clean but his hands were dirty and he had dirt under his finger nails.The tattoo itself took about an hour, and for the most part its OK but theres a spot where he messed up the thickness and made a letter in the script thicker than everything else.There are also a few other little details that I have noticed that were easily avoidable, considering it was a stencil, of something printed out from the computer. I then had to drive to the wawa down the street to get cash because their credit machine wasnt working.In general I am happy with the tattoo but I will not be going back. It was not a great experience.

Missed appointments overpriced on a large line tattoo that had to be redone on my whole back when my current tattoo artist fixed beautified what Brian destroyed..other tattoo artists there also failed to return calls and keep appointments which is not good business both at Willow Grove and Feasterville. In my opinion you need to focus on getting people in and pleasing them with your tattoo skills because this is your job. Shona does a great job but then again when Your boss is only focused on one or two shops that shorts out the workers. I would not recommend tattoo galaxy to anyone they are clean but that doesnt mean their tattoos are any good.when I saw this happened to my husband also I knew it wasnt just me.

@JPTatted did an awesome job! He really understood how important this tattoo was for me since it was the anniversary of my daughters death. He and Sam were both compassionate and friendly. Would definitely go back again!

Stopped in today for a jewelry removal Jay was super friendly and professional and didnt even charge me (most shops in my experience charge $5-$20) he also helped me figure out what gauge my ears are free of charge. I would definitely recommend!

I went in for 3 piercings, Jay is the absolute best. Hes real chill, patient, knowledgeable, gentle, fast, and very personable. Cant wait to go back

This place is fantastic. Not only did the tattoos come out stellar but the artists (Pat and Dan) were awesome guys to spend a Saturday afternoon with. The tattoos are clean and exactly what we wanted. I have finally found the tattoo artists that I will always go back to. Thanks again guys, you rock!

Is there anyone more apathetic on the phone than the guy answering phones at a tattoo shop on a Sunday? Hint: No.The experience itself was painful but okay. I think my piercing will heal nicely, but the following are concerns:- The place smells like incense or something. I prefer anything involving blood to smell like antiseptic. Overall feeling isnt safety first.- They were down to their last pair of non-latex gloves. Who even buys latex anything anymore?- Instead of an after-care sheet for proper care of the piercing, There was a little black and white business card that looked photocopied.- Minimal jewelry available.But hey, it was open on a Sunday when no one else was. And theres a fun St. Jude Catholic store nearby where you can purchase Holy Water.

Brian just helped me out by fixing an old tattoo on my wrist. It looks so much better, and he was extremely informative, honest, and friendly. The shop is inviting and clean. I would definitely recommend Tattoo Galaxy for anyone looking for a tattoo!

I was here coming on two years ago now. I was told free touch ups for life. I sat for 5 1/2 hours straight on a Saturday afternoon on July 17th, 2017. When the tattoo was done I paid the man, and went on my way. My tattoo shortly followed all the tell signs of being over worked. I mean it was scabbed, it was bleeding out all the ink. It went from looking like in-depth color of a galaxy Aries the Ram tattoo i wanted to go to Tattoo Galaxy for, to what looked like when it was healed a 20yr old tattoo. When I followed up a year later, the owner wasnt there, and a new tattoo artist was there who could not give me a definitive answer on not only i could get a free touch up or not, but if they would take some type of accountability for a botched job. Other than that, he told me he would not touch it because it was not healed all the way, yes even a year later, and he could obviously see it was an overworked tattoo. I even told them i would pay for a touch up as long as they would give me a deal to salvage my left shoulder. I got an email from the new artist a week later who said he spoke with the owner who told him any further work would have to be paid for.

I have had several sessions with Mike Horn at Tattoo Galaxy. He was actually the first person to tattoo me. It was the happiest decision I made; Mike is an amazing artist and tattooist. He helped my ideas come to life on my skin. I could not be happier with his work. Now just to have him finish it.

I love Tattoo Galaxy! I went there for a piercing, and J, was the best. He explained the procedure and was very patient. I would recommend them to anyone. The facility was clean, well organized and the price was reasonable.

On Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, my friend and I each recieved a tattoo from Tattoo Galaxy of Willow Grove. As soon as we walked into Tattoo Galaxy, we were greeted with a warm and friendly welocme by the employees. I felt safe and very comfortable there.I enjoyed the music, the art that was displayed, and I was very pleased with the over cleanliness of Tattoo Galaxy. My friend and I each recieved a fair, competitve, and reasonable price for our repsective tattoos. I was very happy with the location and also with my overall experience.I will most definitely return to Tattoo Galaxy of Willow Grove.
