Agape Ink Tattoos & Piercings

My husband and I went here this past Saturday, and we couldn’t be any happier with our tattoos! Finding a tattoo artist that you vibe with, enjoy and does an amazing job is hard to find. Michaela did a fabulous job, we will absolutely be back!

Sarah is absolutely AMAZING! I went in to get a smiley piercing and was nervous (I’m just an anxious person) but she was very reassuring and talked me through the whole process and what to expect. She was so quick and gentle that it was over before I could even process that it was done. It was by far my least painful piercing and my new favorite! I HIGHLY recommend going to see Sarah and will only use her for my future piercings.

Shane finished some work on my arm that wasn’t completed. He tied everything in beautifully! I couldn’t be happier with the results! Looking forward to him doing some more work next week! He was super friendly, and very efficient! A true professional at his craft. Thanks a million Shane!

Got a wild hair to get some ink so I called up this shop and spoke with Micheala. She was super friendly and professional and told me she had an opening and to come on by. Extremely pleasant atmosphere and everything was very sanitary in the shop. I showed her what I wanted and she inked me up, was out the door within an hour or so. She was very personable, light handed and reasonably priced. It was my first time getting any ink here and I rate it 10/10. Will be going back to get more work done.

My husband and I have had multiple great experiences at Agape! Nadia did my tattoos and she has done an amazing job! She is extremely thorough and took a lot of time to design my pieces and make sure I was happy. I will definitely keep coming back :)

This is less than a week after he pierced my belly button. as you can see i have a hole under that infected area. i asked him if he would repeirce that hole and he said no he was gonna pierce it higher. i trusted him because he does this professionally and this is what happened. the bar was not long enough for any movement and got infected almost immediately. i would never recommend this place.

This place was very professional and the staff there was super friendly! I wanted something new and they hooked me up!! I love my new piercings and they made sure I was comfortable and well. Moses was the one who pierced me and my sister I would 100% recommended him ! I was not scared or nervous because they were all so friendly and they are really good at what they do . :) thank you so much!!! Y’all are amazing!

I got my chest piercings here, and they did an amazing job. Very clean and respectful shop. Shane is an amazing and caring individual who often contributes to our awesome community with loads of character and a God first attitude.

The staff are all so kind and helpful! Got my nose piercing done with Nadia and had the best experience. She was patient and informative and so professional! Definitely recommend stopping in with them. ✨

Love love love my tattoo the prices are reasonable for both piercings and tattoos no crazy booking fees the art work is high quality percise and clean amazing! My artist Micheala knew exactly what I wanted and then some plus I also got my nose pierced from there a few months ago had no issues afterwards the staff is always welcoming and friendly best experience ever I couldnt ask for a better studio they are the bomb!

Shane was very accommodating and understanding of the group that I wanted to bring in for memorial tattoos. We worked out a day and time that would suit our needs, over texts.When we got there, there was already someone there who had come in early but was not scheduled to work that day. He stayed and got us all checked in before the artists came in. ( sorry, I didnt catch your name, but thank you! )Tyler and Ryan took care of us all quickly and both did a great job.The place is clean, operations are done by the book and we are all super pleased with the way everything turned out.Great place, well be back for more!

My sister and I had matching tattoos done by Twitch! He’s very friendly, great personality and his art is absolutely stunning!!! 15/10! Would recommend him and will definitely be coming back for more of his work😊😊😊

I always come here to get my tattoo from Tim and he has yet disappointed me. I just got my owl and my magnolias and he’s done three other of my tattoos! I highly recommend coming here.

I had gone to a shop nearby and they were closed without say so and i drove 30 minutes to winder and was gonna be upset to leave without a tat. But shane pulled through and did a walk in with me and sketched it up and got me in the chair very fast.All the staff were very friendly and seemed like they had a local scene going on with customers they knew by name which was nice to see. He did a very good job aswell and charged me 200 dollars for something another place said was 600-800 dollars. Overall im very satisfied and this spot will be my regular tattoo spot for now on, thanks for the service.

So I did the $20 flash sale with the apprentice today. I don’t remember her name, but she was great! This is my second tattoo, first as this shop, and for some reason I was nervous. She was great, but so was everyone else who was working. I loved the vibe and the tattoo turned out amazing! Definitely will be going there any time I need a new tattoo!

I got a semicolon tattoo from Twitch four days ago and was super impressed with his work! He made me feel comfortable with getting it done in a different color after some said that the color would fade faster! I went back in four days and Iwas debating on whether or not to get some words added to the semicolon tattoo and I was even more impressed because the amount of time he took to get the lettering right and the line work done! I absolutely love it and I had an immediate confidence boost because there are a reason people get the semicolon tattoo! The words are things I tell myself on the daily to help me get thru a regular day! I will definitely be coming back and will be asking for Twitch Mitch to be doing anymore tattoos that I mat get! I also got my upper lip pierced and I was super scared because of how bad my nose bled and how infected it got but David was super helpful in helping me feel comfortable enough to go thru with it and Im super glad I did! Yall should definitely go here to get your stuff done

Very professional!! I got my nose and lip pierced and my husband got a tattoo after my piercings. We both left very happy with the experience. Would highly recommend the artists here both piercing and tattoo amazing people, very kind!!

Went in for a septum piercing and the man just didn’t seem to want to take his time and was in a rush. He pierced me in the absolute wrong spot of my septum and now I’m left with a sore nose with nothing good to show for it. Asked me if I wanted him to move it up, and I clearly just wanted it out and to leave because he should have known it was placed way to low from the get go, he knew he did it wrong stating the fact he couldn’t let me leave there with it in my nose like that anyway.

Nadia was great!!! Came back to get my nipple repierced and she did a amazing job. Will definitely be back for more service!!!

My tattoo artist was amazing!!! Steven Lester was honest with me and hyped me up, even though it was my first tattoo. he did an amazing job making my tattoo look realistic and I am definitely going back for my next tattoo!!

Agape is nice… But what makes it REAL nice is the man, the myth- the legend Steven Lester. I can’t express enough how talented he is… My sister has gotten a majority of her tattoos from him and I myself just got my second one and I will continue to use him for the next ones. He takes his time, stops to make sure you’re feeling okay through out the process… Good at helping you design what you want… As he understands it’s forever. Best therapy I know. I look forward to my meetings with him… Already he is like family. He will forever be known as “my tattoo guy”. He is one of a kind. And Steven- I know you’ll see this eventually- you are the best… Thank you for making all of my tattoos amazing. ❤️

I absolutely adore this place. My sister got her tongue pierced her a year or so back and they were really nice to her and did a wonderful job. A few months back I got my Medusa pierced here and they were very quick and so sweet to me and told me in detail what to get to help take care of it. I recommend this place for anyone wanting anything done whether be tattoos or piercings. You can tell these people love their jobs and care about their customers❤️

Went for Friday the 13th tattoos with my oldest and my youngest sons. It was my youngests 1st tattoo and, despite having a super long wait, he loved the experience over all. Our tattoo artist Micheala did a fabulous job and, I look forward to working with her again!

Very professional but also comforting and very detail about how you take care of your piercings. Let us know if there was any problems that it was totally fine to come back to him so he could fix them. Just made us feel safe and comfortable about the whole process. I would highly recommend them for any tattoos or piercings.

Chelsea is great! Shes intelligent and knowledgeable and does very meticulous work. Weve had 4 piercings done, all perfect!

I have had a ROUGH year and on a whim decided to turn around and get my favorite kind of therapy-a tattoo! Little did I know that in this shop I would find such comforting and welcoming people. I had gone a couple times before (this is my third tattoo at this shop) and I have never found a shop more passionate about their work. It is not about a pay check to them and you can feel that as soon as you walk through the doors. I HIGHLY recommend Tim, the manager for any of your tattoo needs (of course, you cant go wrong with anyone he hires either!)Thank you again Agape Ink. Youll be seeing a lot more of me for sure!

Thanks for the response Shane. I’ve gotten 9 piercings and 2 tattoos here. David is a great piercer and has tons of experience, gets it done quick. Moises is just as experienced but adds tons of character and comedy to it. I’ve only gotten tattoos from Tim but the rest of the crew seems great and lively. Tim is a great artist, he’s got the answer to all your questions and knows how to keep you comfortable during your session. Stop by and you’ll get a great tattoo/piercing along with a nice memory!

Its was fabulous! The ladies that did my best friends 2% tattoo did a marvelous job. She will be coming back for more! And they are sweetheart and awesome. Made her feel real comfortable. They had great personalitys!!!! Thank you ladies!

UPDATE: So, Micheala completed my tattoo and I am absolutely blown away. Not only is my prior work (the piece she did for me is a color cover-up) nowhere to be seen, but the piece stands on its own merits. It is beautiful, colorful, and unique! The staff at Agape was absolutely wonderful and the entire experience was a 10 out of 10. I will definitely seek Micheala out with any tattoo ideas in the future. I cannot recommend her services, or Agape, highly enough!David pierced my ears for me and Micheala designed and inked my tattoo. Both were wonderful so I figured I’d let you know about each experience. I will update and add pics after the tattoo is colored.David’s easy going demeanor made for a nice, low stress experience. The piercings were quick and relatively painless. His instructions for aftercare were clear, and the price was reasonable. I greatly appreciated the speed with which he handled my request and the courtesy with which I was treated. I would definitely recommend his services and would be quick to return if I ever wanted another piercing done.On to the tattoo! Micheala was incredible! She agreed to help me out with a cover up of an absolutely embarrassing piece I had done when I was 18. She listened to me, took my wants and needs into consideration, and drew up for different designs based on my request. Once we settled on the perfect image, she got to work.Y’all, she was sweet, personable, and most importantly an incredible artist. Her line work is amazing, and the experience was virtually painless. She also listened to me ramble on so much I felt like I owed her for a therapy session-lol.Micheala is a true artist, and I’m deeply honored to be able to carry her work with me. Plus her rate is more than reasonable considering the quality of her work. I am looking forward to going back to have the color filled in and I’m looking forward to working with again in the future.

I have been coming to Agape Ink for years! Absolutely love the work I get done by Steven as well as the experience and the environment of this place! When I walk in I get treated like family! Steven has done all of my tattoos for the last few years. He is very easy to talk to as well as the way I can bring him an idea and he turns it into something even better than I would imagine! Steven Lester at Agape Ink was absolutely amazing to work with. He didn’t make me feel incredibly embarrassed about the AWFUL tattoo that I had acquired previously from someone who had no business drawing a stick figure on paper, much less a permanent fixture on someone’s body. Steven took his time to understand my concerns, the fact that I had 1000 ideas, but was just not happy with any of them, and was not at all judgmental. He designed an incredible piece to cover the scribble, he took several different ideas I had to make beautifully customized piece that makes me so happy! He was very calm, patient, and asked questions to make sure I left completely satisfied. I hope to get my next appointment soon!

Went to the Friday the 13th special and was the very last group to get tattooed walking out of there at about 8:30am this morning. Despite the staff being exhausted and I’m sure way past the point of ready to go, they were so nice and lovely. Everyone was so friendly from the time we walked in until the time we walked out. And Twitch who did our tattoos, absolutely outstanding! He has such a light hand I honestly can say it didn’t hurt getting tatted by him! Definitely going back for the next Friday the 13th!

Enjoyed my experience at Agape tattoo. I got a beautiful tattoo by Nate- I followed him from a previous shop. Nate is very talented at his craft. He’s very sweet and knew exactly what I wanted for my tattoo. The shop is very clean and professional. I highly recommend getting tattooed by Nate and check out his work! I went here last minute to get a remembrance tattoo of my grandmothers signature. Autumn did an awesome job and she was very attentive, making sure that she explained everything that she was doing as she went along. She could also tell that the location I chose to place the tattoo was painful so she made sure to check on me throughout the process. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because there was this creepy customer hanging around that made me feel uncomfortable from the second I walked in until I left. If it was dark I would not have felt safe walking to my car.

Got may wife set up with Tim at Agape Ink and he was a really good artist. He did a phenomenal job and the price was very good. I recommend him and we will be back for more Ink in the near future. Looking forward to the next job.Thank you again Tattoo Tebow!!!

There were six tattoos and one maintenance and my husband another the truth the best place they always treated me according to what I wanted to love the music but above all the treatment to the client and the professionalism of shane now I can say that I admire him more and of course We will return for a few more tattos ,,, the best birthday of my life I highly recommend it !!!!

I originally got my daith piercing done at a different place, but I started having issues with my earring popping out (bar bell). I came here last second since I was worried about my daith closing, and they took me right in and put a circular earring in for me. Amazing service and very nice. Definitely recommend coming here!!!

I got a tattoo done on my forearm by Shane this past Friday night and I am absolutely in love! My tattoo looks amazing and he did a really good job! He was fast and very detailed. I won’t go to anyone else for a tattoo! He also did a cover up on my husbands hand and he did an awesome job! My husband is beyond excited with how it came out! Everyone in the shop is polite and they make you feel right at home! I highly recommend them to anyone! I couldn’t be happier with my tattoo and the awesome work that Agape Ink does!

I love this shop its my go to anytime i want a piercing or tattoo. Cindy was my most recent tattoo artist she designed and did my Medusa chest tattoo and the experience was absolutely amazing. She not only is an amazing artist but she makes you feel incredibly comfortable throughout the whole thing, making sure you get breaks and putting on something if you want to watch tv. But the biggest thing is she was talking with me the whole time and just overall made the whole thing enjoyable.

I absolutely cannot recommend this place enough!!! Every single time I decide to pop in I always get exactly what I want, even if it’s just advice. I enjoy every artist who works here. Tonight, I had the absolute best experience with Micheala Garcia! Not only did she give me one of my most memorable tattoos, she made me feel welcome as well! I dealt primarily with Cindy and I have to say she was not only very professional but a very nice person. The art she done for the first set was phenomenal. As the art came together and ink was put to skin I began to have the need of a thesaurus just find find more synonyms for the words amazing and fantastic. Cant wait to see how the rest of my request comes together.

First tattoo here! My wife and I both Trusted Timothy Cormier based on his Instagram page. We went very simple for our first tattoo and the price was very acceptable for it. Tim was very friendly and open about the process. He helped my wife calm down and knew she’d be picking her next tattoo as soon as she got home. His prices are fair and his work is fantastic! We will be back to see Tim as soon as we can for sure! 10/10 would recommend!

I have had the hardest time keeping my ears from getting infected. i have had to get my bottoms pierced 4 times including the last time here and my seconds pierced 2 including here, and when i tell you they haven’t gotten infected once. i forget they are here half the time! i recommend getting pierced here and especially by chelsea you won’t regret it! everyone is super friendly too such a welcoming shop!

The best, most honest piercer! Went to get my navel ring again after a necessary surgery……he did not advise it!! I sought out honest advice and expertise and got it 10000%! Instead I got my second ear piercings and a nose piercing! 😁This shop is not out for your $ and puts your personal health and concerns at the forefront! It felt like home! I came in for nipple piercing completely nervous and David was very pleasant and made the experience not only quick but he was funny which was comforting. He was also very clean! He answered my millions of questions and I ended up with a belly piercing as well. I’m totally planning to come back.

Agape Ink is a great atmosphere. All of the staff are very welcoming and friendly. They make you feel like your at home. That is a tribute to the owner Shane. Shane is great, he is doing a large stomach cover up on me and his pricing is very reasonable. He wont break your wallet on one piece because he wants to give you incentive to come back for more work. I am not posting my piece yet because it is nowhere near finished. I will put it on display as soon as it is finished.

Ive gone to Cindy for my first and second tattoo and it has been a great experience every time. I have Tourettes and she has been super accommodating and patient. Everyone in the shop has been very welcoming and kind.

So I actually couldn’t get on here fast enough to write this review. I walked into agape with a very basic idea of what I wanted as a tattoo that symbolized the two most important people in my world. But it was also a very strange combination, a daffodil and a morning glory. Shane, the owner, helped me straight away and was able to create such a beautiful and vivid piece for my upper thigh and was so kind and very gentle throughout the entire experience even though I’m the biggest baby when it comes to pain. I had an excellent time there and am most certainly going back. I just can’t say enough great things about this place! They gained a loyal customer in me. Very clean, very professional, and extraordinary art. 10/10 would recommend. 10/10 would come again.

I just want to say this place is GREAT!!! From the time I walked in I was taken care of and everyone was attentive and friendly! Shane did my tattoo and I’m super happy with it! Moises was a VERY knowledgeable piercer. I had a bunch of questions and he answered them all easily. I had a bad experience with the same piercing about 20 years ago. I finally had it redone here and it was a complete night and day experience. MUCH better than my previous experience 100%. This will be my new place to recommend to everyone.

I went this Sunday and got two tattoos done by Michaela. She was phenomenal! I got custom tattoos drawn by her, and made to look like realistic glitter! I am in love and cant wait to see her again!

Awesome place! I brought my daughter here to get her cartilage pierced and I got my ears pierced. The staff made us very comfortable and the piercings look amazing. Walked in on a Saturday afternoon with a vision and high hopes. Marty did not disappoint! This was my first tattoo and I wanted something special to memorialize my mom who recently passed away. He did a fantastic job and I will definitely be back to have more pieces added.

Brought the whole family in for our littlest ones 7th birthday. She wanted her ears pierced, and there was no way I was letting some uneducated teenager jam a stud through her ear at a mall kiosk. Charity was absolutely amazing with us! The way we were treated makes us all want to come back for more. We ended up with 4 people being pierced and one of us got a tattoo, all in about 30 minutes time. Seriously cannot rave about this shop enough! We swarmed in 10 deep and they greeted us with open arms and ready to rock! We will be back!!

Great shop, Matt has been my artist on my beautiful badass unicorn. He has a great light hand, takes his time and not rushed at all. I’ve had two sessions and need to come back for a third as to not overwork my skin, I love that his desire is to have a well done piece without scarring, I’ll come back as much as needed to finish it up. He’s relaxed and fun to talk to as well which makes the experience that much better. Looking forward to many more tattoos in the future. Shane was so inviting and polite, he kinda made ya feel like you were home. I was just getting stuff off the internet with him to create my tattoo and the memories were so cool. To see Shane put them on the computer was Amazing! The staff couldnt be kinder. My mother actually got a tattoo while we were there at 74 years old. ♡ I cant wait for Wednesday to get my tattoo. I hope it comes out as awesome as I am imagining it will? My tattoo took Shane over 8 hours and we did it in one day without any breaks! That was Amazing & Painful. 😳

I have had 5 different tattoo artist work on me and Shane is the 6th one and I have found my forever artist. Shane was awesome and his free hand and designs are on point. Great place. Had lots of laughs and was welcome as soon as I came in. They treat you like family. Know need to look for anyone else. Shane is your guy if you want it done right. I got my first tattoo from Agape today - Kristin was my artist and she is amazing! She actually cared about my opinion and the outcome of my tattoo. I have gotten both tattoos and piercings done here. This place is awesome. They treat you like family and care about you even after the work is done. This is the only shop I have ever been to that doesnt mind questions after you leave the shop and they are willing to help you with your aftercare. This is the best shop I have ever been to. And its so clean. I have O.C.D and its hard for me to trust just any place to get work done, but this shop is super clean and the artists are professionals and still friendly. I love it here!

Fantastic experience all the way around. Shane did a half sleeve for me a few weeks ago which has healed up nicely. I’m blown away in the small details and awesome work that he was able to accomplish in like 3 hours.... unheard of. He’s overall a really cool dude and I enjoyed just chillin with him and Steven. Really felt at home. I’ll definitely be back when the itch comes back which will probably be soon. Oh, and the price was crazy cheap. I work in Atlanta and all my coworkers guessed it was a $1200+ piece. I paid $575....

As someone who has dealt with multiple tattoo artist all over the country I had the pleasure of meeting with the artist Tim at Agape. Not being from Georgia - prior to meeting with Tim I had spoken with at least 5 various artist in the area with ideas of Polynesian tribal I wanted incorporated in with existing tribal. Such art has significant meaning & isnt necessarily just a stick & go type of ordeal at all ... its very time consuming with the shapes/bold lines etc ... I had made an appointment at another shop in town only to have the owner (Patrick)at the last minute back out & offer absolutely nothing in terms of desire to do the work. As an owner of a tattoo shop u would think if an individual is willing to spend thousands on ink then its likely the individual is seeking a permanent artist to accommodate all their tattoo visions. Unfortunately Patrick at Bella Rose didnt want to work.Frustrated, I made an appointment with Tim who I honestly had doubts on at first due to 5 other artist in this area giving me a run around. Tim however welcomed my ideas & we sat together working out my tattoo visions. Tim was suggestive/professional & extremely mindful of taking the necessary time to produce a great tattoo. Tim answered every question/concern I had & listened respectfully. I had a 12 hour session with Tim to give u an idea of the kind of work I was seeking from an artist. I can tell u that Tim preformed by far the best work Ive ever had thus far in my life. Custom Polynesian tribal that wasnt just thrown together but that was thought out. Very detailed thorough work. I will absolutely continue to use Tim at Agape as my artist for as long as Im able & I suggest Tim to anyone seeking an artist who will be attenative to u achieving ur overall tattoo vision.

Decided the night before that I needed some Ink therapy. Did walk a walk in yesterday. Everyone was super cool and nice. They couldnt do anything until later that night which is completely understandable as a walk in. Jerome absolutely killed it, I had a vague idea of what I wanted. and he brought it to life better then I could have imagined on both my hands. Will definitely be back soon.

My dad and I came in for a walk-in, and Matt and the apprentices were helpful and friendly. Matt especially was wonderful, helping both of us to refine our ideas and really nail what we had in our heads. Absolutely fantastic experience, with high-quality work to show for it. Somehow I accidentally deleted my review. Honestly, this place is amazing. First off, the owner Shane is on the ball. He knows exactly how he wants his shop run, the quality & proffessionalism of the artists; he has high standards that he will not compromise. Before my first tattoo, one thing I never took into consideration was being comfortable in the shop. Not talking comfy couches, but the environment. You are going to be spending a good bit of time there. Agape just has that inviting feeling. My tattoo is adorable and I get so many compliments on it. I cant wait to come back for my next one. Okay so, daith piercing. I have had migraines forever. And I heard about this and was skeptical. I called Shane and spoke with him about it. 20 minutes later Im in the shop getting it done and the relief was almost instant. Shane was totally laid back and cool about it and everything. Well, I read the amazing reviews and thought Id give this place a shot! I live about an hour away and decided to make the drive. My uncle had called to schedule an appointment while I was on the way there. He walked in and wasnt acknowledged at all. We were going to get tattoos of my fathers signature; he passed away on Christmas 10 years ago this year and tomorrow is his birthday. Kind of sucks that we not only wasted our gas but our time.Update:Maybe an hour after I posted my review the owner had contacted me. He was very apologetic and handled the situation greatly. He was very concerned about us not getting the help we were looking for. I appreciate you reaching out to us Shane! Thanks for handling the situation as best as you could.

I came here today to get my septum pierced (its the day after my 18th birthday) and the person who pierced my septum gave me no warning when he put the needle through, I bled a lot and its still bleeding 7 hours later. the guy had pushed the needle through almost half way then took it out and tried to fix it, but now the piercing is incredibly crooked and its noticeable. he gave me no aftercare instructions either. definitely will not return.

I cant remember my artist name, but he was amazing. Very personable, I got a tattoo in memory of my sister who was recently killed. My artist was very kind and never ask any personal questions. That was very professional behavior and I appreciated it. Thank you kindly and I will be back!

There isnt one bad thing I can say about this shop or the people. I felt right at home, little wait time as a walk in, great taste in music, very clean and professional. Tim was the gentleman that did my tattoo and I have to say he has done a couple for me already because I have had nothing but a great experiance working with him. DO NOT GO HERE. This place is horrible. One person was pressured into deleting their comment after an unprofessional and horrible response, and anothers (who, mind you, accompanied the prior person mentioned.) Review was entirely deleted not too long ago. This place has a bad reputation for a reason, including, but not limited to, lack of proper sanitation, rude and unprofessional customers service, and general poor conduct.

My daughter got a nose piercing that expirence was great he was great as well but when I went to ask for a tattoo I didnt like the lack of wanting to help me and threw out a ridiculous price just to put 4 intials on my ring finger that fact that he First stated that it was hard for him to do it cant see what when I can use a pen a write it there and then said that would be 150$ Keep in mind this is an ALL WHITS ESTABLIMENT and Im Black .. and let me reiterate that that was the tattoo artist not the one that gave me the piercing he was great. If the tattoo artist attitude was better they would have gotten 5 ⭐

I called ahead because I read great reviews and was interested in a new tatto . I showed up and stood in the waiting room for 20+ min while the few people that were their walked around me , not acknowledging that Im their at all. Im not sure why the reviews were so great. Im not sure why they let me call ahead and take my name down for a supposed appointment if this is the outcome !!I wish I could report the great artwork and outstanding experience but thats definitely not the case.As an update.I was contacted by the owner Shane with in the hour.Judging by our conversation her was truly surprised and upset with how my visit went , and wanted to remedy the situation as soon as possible. Then the next day the manager Matt called me and wanted to here what happened and ensured me this was a fluke and would never happen again .After how the situation played out and knowing how they take pride in customer experience. Just got my Daith piercing here in hopes it helps with my migraines. Although the guy was very efficient he was not very personable, and his customer interaction could have been more friendly and inviting. Although I am happy with the piercing itself, the whole procedure was a wham bam type of deal and felt rushed. I give 4 stars for quick, clean piercing and minus one only because I didnt feel appreciated as customer.

I brought my daughter(6mo) and niece(9mo) up here for ear piercings because the guy at a different local shop I typically use wasn’t working and while I know piercing a baby is a challenge, he did have to pierce one of my daughters ears twice. I brought my daughter to the guy that I usually go to and was told that the gauge of the earring he pierced with was wrong! He used a 14 gauge ring that is used for a tongue piercing in my daughters ears! If you are looking to take your baby to a shop for piercings, I don’t recommend taking them.

Shane was very helpful and she made me feel very welcome and comfortable with the process. All the great reviews helped me make the decision. The shop was clean, organized and welcoming to a walk in.

Place has mostly good reviews and for good reason, its clean, private if you need privacy for whatever youre having done. The tattoo I got was okay. It didnt get infected and healed well, done with a light hand. My artist was clearly agitated while I was there and had an attitude and for that reason I wont be returning.

I took my wife by agape to get a Darth piercing done. They were quick to bring her in and pierce her at 10pm. I spoke with Shane briefly about coovering up an old tattoo.@a week later I scheduled an appointment with Shane for a Saturday. (My appt was 2 weeks after the piercing.) I walk in and tell them Im here for the appt with the owner. Shane looks at me and said covering pepe with Oscar? I was impressed that he remembered a brief conversation from 2 weeks ago.The tattoo was a quick process. It turned out better than I expected. I understand now why Agape is so highly rated amongst the locals.Thank you Shane and other staff for 2 great visits.

When I went and got my ears pierced the place was clean, and the workers were very nice. I also witnessed them cleaning any messes they had while I was there. I definitely plan on going back and getting more.

I got my septum pierced here on 5/17/2021. I came back after having a good experience with my nostril piercing a few years back. I would come back again for any future piercings. Im terrified of large needles near my face, but the piercer made it the best experience that it could be.

I took my daughter in for a cartilage piercing for her birthday. Moses was very professional and made us both feel very comfortable with the whole process. So comfortable she got BOTH pierced instead of just one. I highly recommend him for piercings.

Absolutely amazing!! I moved back from VA and wanted to find a place to get my piercings (second photo) and it was amazing! Fair pricing as well as super helpful and careful with making sure it was done right! Then I had been planning a tattoo piece (first pic) but wanted the artist to take her own spin on it, so it would be unique and SHE DELIVERED! I cannot brag on her enough! I’m getting if finished in a few weeks (to be expected with such a large piece) but she made sure I was comfortable asked if I’d like to be in a more private area to be tattooed, extremely friendly, and when we were going over the ideas for the tattoo she made sure to keep all the aspects of the inspo pics that I liked and made it 20x better! 💛 love this place and you should definitely visit!

So I debated about whether or not to write this review. I’m not a mean person, and I hate to bash on people. But I would just hate someone else to go through what I did, or worse.I can’t speak for the tattoos. I got a piercing done about a week ago. Quite frankly, I just don’t think the lady who did it knew quite what she was talking about. I also had some serious issues with her hygiene precautions.I know I should have just walked away, and gotten it done somewhere else, but I didn’t want to come off rude, so I stayed.The piercer was nice and all, but overall it was a terrible experience, and I wouldn’t go back. Or recommend any of my friends to get pierced here.

3rd tattoo at agape and 2nd one by Steven Lester. Of all the tattoos I have the ones I’ve gotten at Agape are my favorite. They always play great music and I love the waiting area especially the kids corner. My most recent tattoo done by Steven is exactly what I wanted and it didn’t take as long as I thought it would. He used numbing cream because I’m a wuss and it really helped a lot. 10/10 would recommend and I’ll def be back.

Best and most amazing experience ever. The owner shane Whelchel is truly gifted and an incredible artist and person. My children even love the studio. Such a breath of fresh air to find a great studio that is kid friendly and drug free.

Atmosphere was great and very friendly but Im very upset with my tattoo. I got a cross on my arm with clouds below them, what you would think to be a very simple tattoo, but the lines on my cross are crooked and you cant even tell my clouds are clouds. A piece that probably should have taken a couple hours took 30 minutes. Not only that but the shading in my tattoo is awful. Very upset because I have heard great things about this place but walked away overcharged and not satisfied with what I got. Wont be going back for touch up and now will have to go elsewhere to get it fixed.

Agape Ink is the place to go in Barrow County! Owner and staff are friendly and professional every time I come in! Shane recently upgraded my owl on my arm and it was the best experience I’ve had in a long time. The shop is very family oriented. I’ve brought my sons in with me twice this week and they are instantly glued to the kids table and toys! It distracted them long enough for me to buy some body jewelry. Agape is quickly becoming like family! I won’t take my business anywhere else.

Called twice to ask how much it would be for a tongue piercing, was told $40 both times. So I’m like cool, I’ll head up and get it done. Get there and was told it was $50. Bad attitude from employee as well. I’m not one to write bad reviews just want this to be known is all.

I stopped in to look for a new piece of jewelry for my septum. While they did not offer exactly what I was looking for, the customer service I received was outstanding. Was a great experience getting my tongue pierced. I went 2 weeks ago and loved it. I was wondering if I could go to a different place and have the jewelry changed or if I have to come back there. It’s an hour away and I don’t really have the time to come back.

I came in from another state unaware of the different tattoo laws in Georgia, I came in and gave them my correct ID saying I was 17. I have made an appointment for my 18th birthday to get the tattoo finished since they stopped doing the tattoo randomly after finding out my real age. I’ve had this new appointment for my 18th scheduled for two months and now I am being told to reschedule. I would just like this to be finished correctly. I’m very disappointed.

The tattoo work is good but it seemed like everyone had the same appointment time for the same artist. It was ok he was quick and good. Ill be going back just not planning on a certain time....

Shane is AWESOME!!!! I came in with a near impossible cover up and he mad it happen. I couldn’t be happier. Also everyone up there is awesome. They make you feel at home. Highly recommen!!!!! A++++++++++ for sure

Went in for Friday the 13th. Gave our paperwork and asked if everything was cool. They responded “yea have a seat”.Waited and waited. Find out they never put our name on the list. Then say “it’s our fault but we can’t move it up” so we would have been there another hour for their mistake.Not worth it. Just moved to the area and guess it’s a shop I won’t need to give any business to.

I have gone to agape for all of my tattoos and piercings. They do great work and make sure we are comfortable and know the whole process. They explain what theyre doing and why theyre doing it. Great place with a great staff.

Kid that did my tats should probably shoot me if he sees me first. Looked okay til the stencil washed off and I could see the mess I am left with. Great demeanor but has a loooong way to go in the skills dept. Good kid but should prolly go back to practice skins for a while.

My husband got his first tattoo last night and Shane did amazing job. Best place over all I believe out of all the tattoos I have. We will be back for more.

I went on friday the 13th and got 2 nose piercings which cost $26 and handed them $40 cash and they kept my change and refused to give me the remaining $7 after the “mandatory $7 tip” per Moses and Tim

Cindy was very patient and calm with me and gave me a break when i needed. this was my first big tattoo and i was nervous she definitely met my expectations.

Tim was super! Me and my two kids all three got Tatoos from tim. Already sending people his way. Amazing art and quality.

This place was so clean and the guy who pierced my nose was so kind. He even sat with me afterwards because I felt dizzy.

My husband and I highly recommend Steven at Agape. His work is phenomenal and he is very affordable. He did a cover-up and a correction on a tattoo for us and we will be back!!

My teenage son got his nose pierced. It was a gift for his grades. It has fallen out maybe 3x and even lost the piercing overnight once while he was asleep in bed. He went back to them each time and they popped it right back in no charge. No issues. They remembered him & got him right in the chair asap each time.
