Ive seen Summer for several tattoos now, including my very first and my first huge piece. I love working with her! Shes been clean, professional, and educational. She answered all my questions about care, gave recommendations for what to bring to my appointments, and worked with me on the designs to ensure they look great as a tattoo, not just looking great on paper. She even helped me figure out ways to protect my tattoo while at work (healthcare setting, higher risk of exposure to infection). Pics are from my first session on my huge piece. Really looking forward to getting color!Updates! Ive had a few more sessions with Summer to add color to my thigh piece and I LOVE how its turning out! She does a great job of making suggestions that look great in a tattoo while remaining thoughtful and respectful of what Im looking for. (Just because a piece of art does/would look great on paper, doesnt mean it would translate well to skin.)These pictures are a few weeks after my most recent visit (flowers), with the fish being longest healed (couple months). Ill be back for touchups and a black/gray scale background after this has had plenty of time to heal!

Caroline Hedgepeth has been my tattoo artist since I got My first Tattoo in 2011. I now Have two full arm sleeves which are majority portraits of my family among other things. She has done ALL of my work. Every tattoo has been flawless & blown me away. I get Compliments all the time on my tattoos. The shop is clean, everyone there is professional, polite & helpful. The wait sometimes takes a while to get in but it’s well worth it. Any good artist will have a lot of appointments booked. I highly Recommend seeing Caroline or any of the artist at Garry’s to get your tattoo work done!

Anyone looking for a tattoo please don’t go here. I called and asked if they were accepting walk in’s and I was told to be there in 20 minutes and that they would be able to do simple lettering on my forearm. I showed up 20 minutes later to be told that they could not service me and that I had to come back the next day. I understand that sometimes things can get busy but I also think that they should be considerate with peoples time and not waste others time. I came back the next day to get my tattoo and when I was showing pictures the artist was very rude when I showed him what I wanted and laughed. The tattoo was crooked and the lines were extremely shaky and not even remotely straight. I ended up having to go to another artist to fix my tattoo, but they made what should have been an easy small tattoo a month ordeal to fix a tattoo that I hated that was extremely visible. Please do research on where you get your tattoos.

I loved my experience here. Jacob was nice and helped me decide what piercings to get. I walked in knowing I wanted a piercing just didn’t know what. Jacob helped me instantly and told me what he thought would look good on my ears! I also got a smiley done. 10/10 recommend going to see Jacob for all your piercing needs!!

My daughter and I went together for nose piercings. Jacob was amazing! He was so kind, patient and professional. I’ve taken my older daughter for several other piercings and always the same stellar service. Definitely five stars!

First time getting a tattoo: walked in, absolutely clueless. The lady at the reception was welcoming and nice. Asked me what I want tattooed and what font I’d like. A few minutes later, Marco introduced himself and I briefly described what I wanted. He was respectful and nice. We had a nice conversation while he was working. Will definitely return in the future.

I got a septum piercing and I absolutely LOVE IT!!! Jacob did a fantastic job. He doesnt sugarcoat AT ALL, but he knows his stuff and he does an amazing job!!! The piercing didnt hurt at all (just a little pinch), it was over before I knew it, and Jacob gave me some amazing aftercare instructions as well as availability to come back should anything arise.Such an awesome experience!!!

I moved here from MA so all my piercings and tattoos are from there and was in desperate need of a new artist and piercer. I have gone to Jacob several times to have him change my jewelry and he has always been wonderful with answering any questions or when i explained to him that i need a tool to tighten certain piercings cuz rhey alwsy seem to come loose he uses it. I highly recommend Jacob.

I was referred to Marco from a friend for a cover up tattoo. I sent him a few photos of what I had in mind and he did an amazing job! I fell in love with my new tattoo instantly. I get compliments on it often and I can’t wait to add more to my arm. For my initial appointment I got double booked, and the other person got there before me so I had to reschedule. Accidents happen, and Marco was quick to find me a new slot!Updating: It is now a year and a half after my initial cover up, and Marco has done 3 other pieces on me. We just finished up a wrap around lower leg piece. I can’t say enough about Marco - he’s an awesome artist and always gives you what you want!

I’ve gotten my tongue piercing here four times. Just because of personal reasons I take them out, but I got it re-pierced for the fourth time by Jacob. He is so kind and comforting and it was painless, out of all my piercing my tongue piercing was a 1/10. It feels like a slight pinch, not even the pain you bite your own tongue. Despite, getting it done multiple times I get nervous each time. But Jacob goes the extra mile by letting me hold onto his pants loops while he did it. Which makes it comforting to know that he does care about his clients too. It was done under less than a minute. I recommend Jacob 10/10, he knows what he’s doing. Never got an infection and or any complications. The receptionist was so kind, welcoming, and gave great advice, and she was genuine.

Got a dermal under my eye today and Im totally satisfied. No swelling nor did my eye bruise. Staff was very professional and the piercer made me and a friend of mine completely comfortable the entire time we were there.

Been to Jacob twice for piercings. Hes always super kind and professional. Went the extra mile to make sure I was extra comfortable the last time. I will definitely be going back to Garys for all future piercings!

Not happy with my experience. Jacob was the piercer, I was talked over from the appointment to calling to see see how to care for my daughters nose piercing bc she developed a bump, that I am still dealing with. I was told one thing, to then be told no I would not have told you that, as if I would make it up when I have no clue about this type of thing. So now 2 ointments later here we are. I feel if I would not have been talked over and interrupted mid sentence then maybe my question would have been understood and answered correctly. Its sad bc I drove out of town to this location based on reviews. The other guy whom I was told was the manger when I asked to speak to someone over him was very understanding and helpful. I was literally talked over and asked mid sentence so whats your question (so rudely) as I was trying to explain. When I spoke to him again he tried to disregard what I was told. I was hoping to get some tattoo work done however I will not return! I feel like its becoming the norm that people just talk to people anyway and thats not the way its supposed to be!

Jacob was amazing! He re-pierced my belly button because my previous piercing I got somewhere else closed up and he did a great job! So quick, easy, and painless! I will definitely go here again for any future piercings!

Make sure you walk in with 200. 60 deposit for your appointment. Then whatever you get either 140 or 150. The 60 dont go towards your tattoo. I love my tattoo. But that pricing error or whatever aint it. I have 7 tattoos before I got my 8th!...... going somewhere else for my next.

I was there to ask questions and to find a artist. I walk in and few minutes later im told that they will be right with me by a person I didnt see again. I wait along with another customer who entered after me as a Walk-In, while I looked at the portfolios. Meanwhile, people from the back, come up front and are walking around , back and forth where they came from, not saying a word. I assumed they were all customers, because no one said a thing.The other customer ends up leaving after looking at his watch and shaking his head. I wait some more time, looking at portfolios again because Im waiting, and two women enter the doors and all of a sudden the same two guys who had been walking around are now tripping over each other to help these two women schedule a tattoo that the younger one isnt sure about getting in the first place. I had picked up the portfolios again as an attempt of service because I had been waiting and didnt know who worked there or who to even ask questions to till they helped the women. I should have left with the other walk in customer. Seems some are still selective of patrons.

We love this place. Garys is the only place i get tattoo therapy. Bill is our artist we go to. He is at the Winterville shop. Bill is very talented. We have had several portraits along with sentimental tattoos. Give Garys a call. All their staff are very professional and talented people. Very clean shop. You cant go wrong. Got my daughters ears pierced here and a couple small tattoos. People are always friendly and accommodating, place is clean and safe.

Would rather give it 1.5 piercer did a pretty good job during keeping calm and talking through it but did not account for size and placed in barbells that were far too short and sank into my skin the next day! The shop itself is 2 hours away from me so there was no chance of going back to get a different length. Felt like a waste of money and time. Very dissatisfied with the non attentiveness to size of what you’re piercing.

Jacob is an amazing piercer, whose done pretty much all my piercings. I trust nobody but him. Hes super nice, plays really good music, and keeps calm so you remain calm as well

I went here to check on my old nose piercing, come to find out it wasn’t done properly. Thankfully I was give amazing advice and was able to get my nose repierced properly. I was also give care instructions that worked around my allergies. I would 100% recommend Skin Graffix and will only go to them. I can’t wait to get my next piercing here.

Got my cartiledge pierced twice today at Garys. I was very nervous but the guy who did it worked quickly and was super nice. Very pleased with the service I received! I would recommend this location to anyone looking to get a piercing done.

JACOB is the coolest piercer ever!! Havent gotten my tattoo yet, but Marco is hooking me up this month, I love this place and the staff is very knowledgeable..MARCO came through, my tattoo in memory of my brother is spot on and I get huge compliments..no other place for me!! Jacob is a great piercer. I was in and out in 15 minutes. Its been 2 weeks and my septum piercing has been healing beautifully. He knew exactly what I wanted and it came out perfect!

Have gone here twice to get earrings changed. Both times were extremely quick. Place is well light, does not look like a dungeon, and clean. I always offered a tip but he never took it. Ill be back if I ever have funds.

I went to this place to get pierced and they were super friendly IDK the guy name who done my piercing but he was nice so I got another piercing and let him do that one I gave him a tip because he was very nice the whole staff was nice.i will recommend this place.

I went to get my vch and the guy was very rude and wasn’t friendly so it made my experience more tense. They are friendly on the phone but definitely not in person. And when I got home it actually look kind of to the side instead of being straight in the middle and I’m not sure if it’s because Of a vain that I can’t see or what but it’s definitely to the side. I feel like I wasted my money now. I thought it was weird he didn’t let me see it before I got up and dressed I didn’t think I had to ask to see it. The one down town is a lot better I wish I would have stuck with them.

Clean, professional, fair. I had Caroline update an old piece I have. She took all my suggestions, even the vague stuff, and formed one cogent piece that Im very proud of.#1 shop in Greenville and easily one of the best artists in the region.
