Amazing experience! Atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Papa Tony really took the to listen to exactly what we both wanted and made suggestions that he felt would improve our ideas. When it came to the tattoos his attention to detail and the pride he takes in his work speaks for itself. Never felt rushed. He made the experience calm and relaxing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Papa Tony is doing my cover up, and he was the absolute best at my first appointment he took me in the same night after somebody canceled on him, and I loved the humor. He made sure I was comfortable and occupied with a show (I’m now invested in) and the first part of the tattoo looks great. He also helped me decide on what to do with the tattoo on how crazy the tattoo that’s getting covered up was. 10/10 would recommend.

The slowest artist ever, but the overall tattoo was good. However I was getting a matching tat with 2 others, and mine does not match the orher 2 at all. The artist was very distracted by his daughter being there. Also the choice of TV and music was very inappropriate for the general public.

10/06/2017- The design agreed upon was a black outline, and I would get the colors later once I settled on which colors I wanted. During the tattooing, I felt the artist scrubbing instead of a smooth single line. The lines ended up filled in with grey without my knowledge and the spacing was uneven (the design was suppose to be symmetrical, a libra symbol of balance) and appeared to be rushed. I should note the artist was repeatedly distracted by her young child. I tipped her well, out of pity, but I regret doing that.Edit: dropped from 3 to 2 stars because the picture I uploaded of the healed tattoo has been hidden from the public.

Went in for my first tattoo. Got the estimate and whatnot, and honestly it was a good experience. Chris is a good artist, not heavy handed and the work is great. Would definitely go back to him for the next oneUpdate: I went to Jake today to get my second tattoo. He worked with me every step of the way, even designing exactly what I wanted based on vague information/ instructions. He was very thorough and detailed, and gave me the greatest tattoo I have had so far. Fantastic experience.

Hard too see but I just got my first tattoo ever in memory of my sister.To me it was painless and done in a timely manner. I have some more ideas and will come back for more

First time getting a tattoo. I told Jake what I wanted and he made sure it looked perfect as well as making sure I was comfortable! Highly recommend as everyone here is super nice!And before any music lovers correct my Bass clef, it has a semi-colon because of a metaphor so its intentional.

Shelle did a great job! This was my first ink in 40 yrs...my husbands very first! It represents something we hold very dear to our hearts...our babies...our 5 catsShelle was very professional, great to very around. She worked fast and with precision. Hopefully soon she can reinvent my old ink thats faded with age! Oh...her prices were very affordable!Come to Xenia and get inked up!!!

Tony, the owner also does tattoos. He doesn’t keep his appointments, he does ok work on some things but not everything. I have had 2 appointments cancelled by him and others cut short for his personal life reasons. My tattoo was supposed to be 4/ 3 hr sessions. I have had 5 1/2 and still not done. Took me 3 months to get an appointment this last and he called me 20 min before asked me if I was going to be there and when I said yes, he flaked on me. Yet again!! Tipped him well for what he was doing, so it’s not the fact that I was stiffing him. I wouldn’t suggest him to anyone. Go at your own risk if you want a tattoo that will take more than one session. Also, was supposed to have an appointment this passed Saturday at 5pm, he called and canceled again. Told me he would call me back to reschedule my appointment. It’s Monday, still haven’t heard from him.

I had a memorial tattoo done for my grandpa shortly after he passed away. I went in and Lindsay is who I talked to. She was very nice and gave me a price and we scheduled it. My schedule is absolutely all over the place and she worked with me to make sure I got it finished. It was two sessions but after I got it all finished up, I couldn’t be happier with the end result. Lindsay does awesome work and of the styles I’ve seen on her Instagram, @lbtattoodesign she absolutely kills it. The atmosphere in the shop is nice, not like other shops I have been to. If you are thinking of having some work done, absolutely go to totem and check them out. Thank you for the awesome piece Lindsay!

Horrible experience and a complete waste of money. The artist I paid my deposit to kept drawing things that were nothing like what I asked for. And then after not hearing from him for about 2 weeks I had to contact him. I went in and opted to add a simple design to what I already had. It took him 4 hours to do what should have taken a couple of hours, he only went in with the ink a third of the way that he should have, so part of my ink fell out. The lines were not straight. And what he gave me was nothing like what I asked for. It looked horrible and unfinished, like a child had drawn it. I ended up going to a different shop and a different artist and paying twice as much as I paid him to fix what he messed up. The owner fully admitted to me that this artist was flaky so I dont understand why they keep him. I will never go back to Totem. Go to Flesh to Fantasy in Springfield and you will be much happier.

Friendly comfortable shop in the center of Xenia.The artists are extremely skilled and provide a super clean and safe environment for tattooing.I have two tattoos (3 sessions, 14 hours total work) and just planned another one with Tony Siemer, the only artist I will let ink me.My highest recomendations!

I had a appointment with Dani so excited to get my tattoo that was in remembrance of my great grandmother Dani said she was going to let another artist do my tattoo she recommended him the tattoo turned out sadly not good my friends made comments that it looked like an elementary kid drew the butterflies and the color didn’t even take so I have a bad tattoo on my arm forever 😞
