Went in for Friday 13th flash ary and left with appointments for the next day! Everyone up there is pretty kick ass and laid back. Especially Shale who is the first artist in a decade to offer to help finish this piece on my back thats been forgotten at this point. Cant wait to go back!

I was very impressed with my tattoo that was an elk skull on top of an American flag. I highly recommend Alex R.. She got me in very fast and she did a phenomenal job at a very fair price! I was a little nervous since it was my first tattoo, but after how good it turned out it was very worth it!

Update: well, in the 10 months since I posted this review, I have been to the shop 9 other times. I always leave happy. The flash sales are quick, easy and cute, the art is incredibly consistent from artist to artist, and every single person who works there is amazingly kind, funny and friendly. This is by far the best tattoo shop in the area and I recommend it to anyone who will listen. Give them a shot! I promise you wont be disappointed!As for the pictures, thats not all the tattoos Ive gotten there, just the only ones Ive taken photos of. And the infinity symbol one was not done at sacred art (hence why it looks so bad in comparison to the others)I am amazed. Ive always been weary of flash sheet sales, and never thought Id get one. I went with my brother and friend for them to get tattoos. I didnt expect to get one. When I did decide to get one, my expectations werent very high.I was proven very, very wrong. Every single person we spoke to was friendly and kind. My artist was very accommodating to my anxieties. The tattoo only took maybe 10 minutes and it came out absolutely flawless. The lines are smooth and consistent, he was gentle while doing it, and it was all around a wonderful experience. I will absolutely be back to this shop!

Five stars all the way. Brought the whole family today. Everyone got inked and no disappointments at all. Would highly recommend going here they are several people doing work in the shop and each with there own style. If you go check them out. When you go check out my boy DaKid.

Staff is friendly. Great service. I love all the work Ive gotten from them. If you are getting a flash tattoo, try going before 4pm. After then is a 2 or 3 hour wait from everyone getting off work.

Mike did a great job Helping me find the perfect rose 🌹 tattoo for my 1st tattoo. He really knows how to pack color in and his line work is wow 🤩! He was super kind and patient with me. He allowed me stop when I needed to and helped me feel better ❤️‍🩹 to keep going. Love the work and TLC he put into my forever piece.

I love this place. Lots of portfolios and new art. I have always received the best advice and care here compared to most shops. They keep watchful eyes on apprentices and always give them the best advice and knowledge they can and ensure they are always learning correctly. I love every piece I have gotten from here.

Went for their most recent flash sale and had the owner do a frog with a witch hat riding on a broom in color. The outline process was fine but when he did the color he was so heavy handed that I bled for an hour straight after the tattoo. It’s been so bruised my whole arm is sore, and the places it’s colored in at are sunken in. This made 53(ish) tattoos I’ve had and never have I had a tattoo so small hurt so bad and no infections. My friend went with me and he was inappropriate with her, asking her to flash him a few times and just making the whole experience uncomfortable. The apprentices were great but the owner (mike I think his name is) I would absolutely not recommend, especially if you’re female.

Went and got this done today by Montrice. They were awesome and very nice. A great tattoo experience. He verified appointments and colors before hand and had everything set up and ready.

Very professional, sanitary and great staff! I took my daughter to get her ears pierced and they were very patient and super helpful with my nervous daughter. 10/10 would recommend for any of your piercing needs. .

Josh Napier is my artist from now on, amazing attention to detail, color, professionalism definitely a 5 star experience from beginning to end. Sacred arts studio is very clean and all the artists were very cool.

AWESOME PLACE & ARTISTS!! They won’t fail you and are completely honest with their work. I wouldn’t trust anyone else, especially because I don’t wanna pay for cover-ups but rather have it spot on first time around and be incredibly proud of it since it’s forever! So my daughter got a tattoo here when they were running a special for $50. Can anyone tell me what this is suppose to be? Does anyone else think this looks more like a 25 cent deal? They were doing toys for tots for tatts that was really awesome. They were working for free so kids could get toys this year! Very happy with my tattoo!

Very professional atmosphere, everyone takes the time to do their work correctly and take the sterile environment to a whole new level. The work I’ve seen come from the artists there is nothing short of amazing. They are all dedicated to their passion and it shows. My artist is Christina and I can’t express in words the vision and the capability she had to bring that vision to life! She did some excellent touch ups as well. If you’re looking for new art or to have touch ups done, I highly recommend Christina, as well as the other dedicated artists at Sacred Art Tattoos!!!

Best tattoo shop I have ever been in!!!! All of the artists were so polite and the shop was so clean and open and I absolutely love how it was set up. Other shops I have been in the F word was about the only word in the artists vocabulary, it was dirty, the artists were rude and it was just an unpleasant place. This shop was a breath of fresh air!! I used Ian and he did awesome work and was so polite!! I got a tattoo for mine and my husbands first miscarriage, so the tattoo was very important to me. He did wonderful! I have recommended him and the establishment to everyone I have met. Cant wait to get more done!!!

Majority of the staff had bad attitudes and did not make us feel welcomed. will not be going back again. if you don’t like your job then quit, but don’t take it out on customers.

Ive gotten seven flash tattoos here so far. My experience with the four artists Ive gotten has been great. Everyone is friendly and Im looking forward to getting a real tattoo from them soon.

This is a completely different shop in a new location that has been passed down to a new owner that has hired new and WAY BETTER artists! The name of the shop is the only thing that is still the same.The artists here put out phenomenal work! Always happy with the pieces that come out of this shop!! All of the artists that I have interacted with are amazing. Jared has been working on starting my half sleeve & is doing a amazing job!!! I also plan on having something done by Christina & Mary!! These artists all have amazing, crazy skills & are extremely nice, easy going genuine people!! Their line work & colors are fabulous!!!!

Their work is always great! Friendly, affordable & organized! I always enjoy going in whether its for piercings or tattoos. They even care about your healing &aftercare. Ive never enjoyed a shop this much.

This shop is the best one around Abilene and the area, the guys are all so nice and caring and want to put their all into your tattoo , they will make sure their client is happy. Ive never seen anyone disappointed in the tattoos that walk out of the shop and they all go back, including myself. I give 5 stars. If there were more I would.

I have been tattooed at several studios in Abilene and Sacred Art is by far the best!!!! It is the cleanest studio by far, and the artists are clean and friendly. If you want a tattoo that is good quality, then this is the place for you! I highly recommend Brad! He has tattooed me several times, and I will be returning as soon as I am ready for another tattoo!!!!

Hands down the beat shop in Abilene. Worked with me to fit my work schedule and provided a grade A experience. The people there are amazing. When a few of them had down time they just came over to chat while I was waiting or include me in on conversation just because I was around. Im not going anywhere else to get work done

They are better than ever!I took my 8yrld to get her ears pierced yesterday. Baby Chris and Mike did so well with her. They calmed her nerves and ofcourse they were very sanitary. Ive collected several tattoos throughout the years and my tattoos that were done by Brad at Sacred art hold up better than all the rest. I Live in Tennessee now but still have alot of friends and family in Abilene and when they ask me where to go for a tattoo I tell them to go to the best.....Sacred Art. I cant wait to get back there and get another tattoo from the skilled artists that work there!!!!

I came for a nose piercing not a tat so Im not giving a review based on anything but the piercing. A girl came to the front and gave me a paper to fill out and told us they charge $20 for a nose piercing and then about 10 minutes later a guy comes to the front and asks for my drivers license and then tells me to follow him back. He said HE charges $30 like everyone there makes up their own personal prices or something and he never introduced himself and told me he was in the middle of getting a back tat when I walked in. He seemed pretty chill and laid back singing along to the radio and getting his stuff together like gloves and needle and stud. After he gets his gloves on he pulls his phone out and starts texting and then puts it back in his pocket. That was the first thing that bothered me because now his gloves are not sanitary. He then puts the needle in and says immediately after I hate this part. obviously I was like great he is not confident in what he is doing at all.. He then goes on to tell me that he is having baby mama drama and his phone is blowing up and he was just in the middle of getting a back tattoo and then he grabs not 1 but 3 paper towels and has me hold it under my nose 1 by 1 because I was bleeding so much and kept saying how he is going to have to do it again and I was like no I think Im done I cant handle anymore because I was on the verge of passing out. He had me sit there so long that when he pulled the needle out and cleaned inside my nose with a q tip that when he pulled it out a blood clot had already formed inside my nose. He just kept saying sorry and towards the end he was shaking so bad. I know he meant well but he needs to be better trained because he was not professional or confident in what he was doing at all. Ill never go back there for piercing again.

Owner was cool when I went to see about finishing out a piercing apprenticeship with them. Everything was cool until I had some personal stuff come up before I was supposed to come in and couldnt do it. The piercer, Kevin, called a shop I had worked at and gave them the wrong name, so they had no clue who he was talking about. He then proceeded to call me a liar and try to rub my name in the dirt. He is a liar. He had lied about previous employment, who he apprenticed under, and his standing with the APP.The artists at this shop seem cool but I would never recommend Kevin Bostick as a piercer, or employee. Im only giving 3 stars because the artist were nice to me and the shop itself was clean and nice.

This shop is the best in Abilene and surrounding area . I love the art and the effort that all of these guys put into their work. All of them. Brad..Ian.. Sean.. and Raleigh.. I will never go anywhere else. It Id also a good atmosphere and they are genuinely good hearted guys.

So I went this past Friday to get a tattoo done that was very very simple. I allready had the image I wanted it just needed a tiny alteration. I called and spoke to Jared and explained to him what I wanted and he said to come by the shop. My wife and I went by there and I showed whom Im guessing was Jared the image which was a combination of the Batman and Wonder Woman symbols. All that was needed was a small black triangle at the bottom for the bottom of the bat symbol. Immediately he started going off about how he was going to have to draw the entire thing out (which was not true cause I had the image on my phone and could have just emailed it or texted it to him) and that meant he would have to be there all night. He asked if we could come back another time. I told him that I really wanted this done at that time cause I work crazy hours. He kinda huffed a little and then asked me where I wanted it and I told him on the side of my calf. He immediately told me it wouldnt look good there and that it NEEDED to go on the back of my leg. I said I wanted where I told him and he kinda rolled his eyes and said it wouldnt look good there and that his JOB was to make it look good. He then asked if I wanted anything other than what I asked for. I said no this is what I want and I want it right here, its a very simple tattoo. He just wasnt listening to me and kept going on about if we did this tattoo it would take all night. I then asked for a price and he said $200 - $250. WHAT!!!! So I asked if that included the 50% off for Fathers Day specials I saw on this page and he said No, thats just the owner and his wife. The name of the page is Sacred Art not the owner of sacred arts page. We immediately left and found a tattoo parlor that worked with what I wanted and where and took about an hour to do everything including added the small alteration to the picture. He told me it was way simple and that its the kind of stuff you have an apprentice do and that he couldnt believe that I was done that way. And he did it for way less. I will NEVER step foot into this shop again or recommend it to others. It was the worst experience Ive ever had.

I’ve been going to my artist for 5 years and wanted to branch out and give another artist a shot. I seen that this place was having $40 palm size tattoos so I went. I told the artist what lyrics I wanted and what style of font I wanted as well. There was no specification on the $40 palm size tattoo or anything so I thought what I wanted would be ok. The shop secretary I guess came back and told me that with what I was wanting he’d have to charge me $50. I said no thanks and went back to my regular artist who gave me exactly what I was wanting but slightly larger for $40 and I left him a $10 tip. If you’re going to run an ad, make sure you have specifications on that ad and not up the price just because you want more money. I will be forever sticking to my regular artist.

THE WORST TATTOO SHOP IN ABILENE! DO NOT GO HERE! Your just gonna be waisting your time and money here. They will lie and beat around the bush with you. Hands down the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. Go here if you want muddy jacked up tattoos that you didn’t really want in the first place because the artist didn’t have your tattoo drawn up that you paid for ahead of time. So I went to happy dragon there customer service put y’all to shame at least they came to the counter to speak to me I got right in and finished up

My visit with Sacred Art was nothing short than exquisite. I went in for three cartilage piercings and a tongue bar. My Piercer was Drew. Obviously not having any of these piercings done before I was nervous. However, Drew was able to keep everything under control. The people there were great. Brad and Jeremy were super funny and knowledgeable. Everyone showed me that they knew exactly what they where doing. The entire place was spotless. when going in for my piercings every prong, sharp, shiny, thinga majig was packaged tightly and opened in front of me. Wearing gloves and the constant hand washing was like i was in surgery. Just the company in general was one of the best parts. Because once you get to know your piercer/artist a little bit you feel less nervous about what your doing or if its gonna hurt. Their jewelry selection there is great by the way!! they have a flat screen mounted on the wall where they can pull up anything you can think of! Really shiny stuff! I really like the shiny! >:-D the people are great, the service is great, the product is great what else is there? I simply love this place.

I have known Brad and his crew for many years in business and personal life. I have ink from the others and have to say that they are the few regrets I have in life.Sacred Art is, and always has been, the most professional and cleanest shop around. The artists are beyond competent and set the curve for all other artists in the area. From simple flash work to freehand and custom work these guys know what it takes to put out quality work.Hix statements are completely the polar opposition to the reality of Sacred Art. Find out for yourself ... walk into any shop and ask to see Health Dept evaluations or sterilization reports ... then go see Brad .. you wont be disappointed.

Don’t ever get a tattoo at this shop if they have apprentices doing the tattoo(s). I had gotten a tattoo by an apprentice and the end result was a bad one. The tattoo was worse than the original drawing of the tattoo. The tattoo was crooked. The lines were wobbly and not straight. I had an appointment to get another tattoo by the same apprentice on the weekend. I didn’t call or anything to reschedule, but that same day the apprentice had to cancel because something came up and wasn’t gonna be able to do the tattoo. So I don’t get to get my money back for the tattoo I haven’t even got. That’s BS Sacred Art.

O only let Brad do my artwork hes very very great at detail. Hes also the sweetest guy youll ever meet. I dont knowb the other tattoo artist but hes always very kind to me too. I also got all my facial piercings here except my nose which was a bad idea to get at Ink Station. Brads prices are always fair, and iREALLY appreciate that he alows a guest to come back with you. Eases the stress when you have your companion or best friend around.The shop itself is very nice and not cluttered or dirty. The people who go in there as customers are also very nice, a lot of guys are from the base which is cool.Anyway I would recommend this place always. Especially if you are like me,b and thus was your first actual tattoo. Some shops and their owners can be intimidating, but this place is breezy.

Dont go in with any firm ideas of what you want. Your idea will be put in a blender and minimized to a poorly regurgitated attempt to tattoo whatever is easiest for the artist. Also when you challenge this and attempt to explain that you want on your body the ideas that you presented youll be chastised and belittled. Theyll basically tell you that your ignorant and dont understand the way tattoos work. Then theyll take your $50 deposit and a $60 setup fee and youll be left with a piss poor drawing. If you want a new age, googly eyed tattoo that will take 3 times as long at $150 an hour and you love being swindled then this is the place for you. Otherwise I would suggest finding an artist who cares about their customers and attempts to meet their expectations.

I recommend this place 110%, very clean, knowledgeable, versatile with the artists and their styles. My tattoo is done by Mary Moss, ask for her! She is quite talented.

I went and got a tattoo, and they didn’t tell me my artist was an apprentice. I have a horrible big black blob on my arm, and when I tried messaged them about it, they responded once and then ignored me.

I enjoyed my tattoo artist. She made me feel comfortable and she was talking to me while she was doing my tattoo

Customer service is just a bust! Make an appointment pay ahead of time and nothing is ready. Then try going back to give them the benefit of the doubt and they drop the ball again. Had high hopes for this place and was let down!

Cant say I had the best conversation with one artist there, I was promptly contacted by the Co-owner and everything was handled. Seems to have great customer relations and tried to make it right. Thabnk you

In Baltimore for the convention. The guy was so high he couldnt draw. I gave him a chance but he was dreadfully slow and it looked so bad I had to tell him to wipe it off. Weak
