This was the first I had been in this place and I got to say I was very impressed! I got my nipples, and belly button pierced by Tyler who made the experience very pleasant. He was knowledgeable, kind and even funny (which helped ease the nerves). Then right after I got a tattoo by Kris and she knocked it out of the park! She made my vision even better! Shop was clean, staff was friendly and I will most definitely be back!

I went to Tyler to help me change out my helix piercing. He was so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. He taught me a lot about my piercing, which I appreciate so much! It was a great experience, and I wont hesitate to go back!

Dont get jewlery here. Youre not suppose to shove the male part of the jewelry through your skin!!The male part should ALWAYS be on the outside, like the ball for instance.When I moved here in 09 I was looking for a clean shop. Since Ive had to use this established Ive only been let down more and more.They ruined one of my piercings (it was a repierce......like how did he mess that up..) and I was letting the owner, Tyler know and he didnt seem to be affected, well I am, every single day. I have to shower and think of it.Please respect yourself more than giving any money to this lame place.They stand by their work is what I was told.I was also told to come back for a check up, apparently thats an issue.Its a wet damp establishment and honestly I would have rather paid and tipped and gotten what I paid for.If the owner cant repierce you...Awful. Thanks a lot.To clarify as well, I hope the guy who pierced my lip found a better shop, he was cool. He wasnt any issue.You offered no explanation and I dont yell at anyone. On the phone you told me the same thing as when you pierced me yourself, youre done get out, I want more money. The money isnt the issue, I told you I didnt feel comfortable with anyone of you touching me after expierencing your shop seveal times Youre an owner and have a business with poor taste.I was never rude to your receptionist or you.I should have sued you for telling me you decided to fix the repiercing of my nipple AFTER you just did it. You did not ask.The fact you only continue to show how poor your business is ran only speaks to my testimony.Yikes bro.I guess its my fault for continuing to try.

My sister and I got our tats here with Teresa, such an awesome human being. I would go here all the time if I could! Anytime I am in Amarillo, I will hit up Music Box, cool enviroment and people.

Got my tongue done here recently and it was a great experience. I only have one piercing I didnt get from music box and Id never switch again. Music box is definitely the best place in Amarillo for piercings!

Was there to get get some piercings. Jay was awesome. Was very thorough and patient. Would definitely go back to see him.

I wanted to get my Monroe pierced to cover up a scar I have from having it previously done. I was very nervous, but everyone I interacted with was so friendly and calm that it really put me at ease. The piercing itself was virtually painless. Im sure this is due to skill because I have a very low tolerance for pain. I was shocked. My low rating is because my piercing is just totally in the wrong spot. Its a better placement than the one I had before but I asked that it go in the same place to cover the scar and my piercer seemed fine with that. I wish I wouldve just accepted the one scar because now Ill have two. Its my face and Im sad about it.

I called and ask for some help since I had my first nose piercing snatched and instead of helping ,the lady on the phone hung up on me.

The space was very clean and the staff was very friendly! I went in to get my helix pierced and my earlobe pierced and the piercing was fast and effortless. Tyler Berry did my piercings today and he was amazing. He was so informative during the process. Would definitely come again. If you are scared to get your ears pierced, you are in good hands with Tyler!

This place is amazing! Tyler did my nose and belly. Two months later Eric did my daiths. They are both extremely professional and put you at ease. I was never nervous with them. My piercings have healed beautifully and look terrific all in thanks for the proper explanation and guidance on care instructions from both of them. Thank you both!

Had a great experience here, the girl at the front desk was nice and personable. Tyler Berry, the piercer, was great, he is an excellent piercer, love both of mine!(I got my Tragus & Industrial both redone). Tyler was nice and funny, too.Ive had several, several piercings before and specifically the two that I got yesterday, I have had before, I was just having them re-done; and so it was nice that Tyler didnt try to baby me or hold my hand through the process. He just said ok, so you know what to expect & what to do?! And that was it, I appreciated that.So, as far as piercers go, you wont find a better (and maybe even more experienced?...) one in Amarillo.In my opinion anyway. Thank you Tyler and everyone at Music Box! 🙃

If you are thinking about getting your ears pierced I would highly recommend seeing Tyler. He isn’t a chatty guy, kinda just to the point but he is professional, fast and honestly makes the experience worth it. Also the receptionist is a doll super duper friendly.

Love it! I’ve gotten all my piercing here except 3. Love the guy he’s very nice and he explains everything you need to do to keep it from getting infected. I plan on getting two more in the next couple of weeks. I just need to know the prices for a Cartilage and orbital conch.

Will never go back. Went to get a simple VOID tattoo on my arm. It has been 5 days, have an infection and I was hacked up for real. Should have known to steer clear when I didnt have to sign waver or show id. Will be reporting to health department ASAP, and contacting an attorney.Tattoo goo. I have 90% of my body covered I have never had a tattoo like this one.. Even in prison. This is stright scarred. Please give me personal info ill be happy to speak to you about it

Ill always go here to get my piercing done. The employees are so nice and make you feel really comfortable. Its always clean and the piercer definitely knows what hes doing. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a piercing!

My sister and I got our tongues pierced here. The next day, my husband got his tongue and nose pierced. The crew were the absolute BEST! The place was clean with a couple of beautiful aquariums to gaze at, and everyone was very friendly. They took the time to make sure we were well informed and even told us if we had any problems or questions once we got home to give them a call.Later, I had a mishap with my tongue ring. We called, and they told me to come in so they could help. My husband accidentally pulled his nose ring out while washing his face, and we couldnt get it back in. We called, and they told him to come back. All that to say, they helped us with our problems, quickly and efficiently. I was VERY pleased with their service. We wont go anywhere else but the Music Box Body Art Studio for any of our future body art needs! Thank you!! 🖤

Tyler is great! Went in to get my 6 year old daughters ears pierced today because she has been asking for a long time to get them done. She is a very emotional person and does NOT handle pain well but really wanted them done. Tyler was extremely patient and so sweet to her even through all her crying and screaming. He gave her tissues and explained everything he was doing before he did it so she felt safe. Thank you very much Tyler for being nice even though she was very emotional. Highly recommend him for piercings.

I’ve been to bomb city before with a friend for a nose piercing. The piercer was a total jerk and I swore I wouldn’t return.Until yesterday, another friend wanted me to go with her so I went. Jay was our piercer this time and was so nice and so kind to us! I didn’t really have any intentions of being pierced there but he was so helpful, happy to answer all our questions & just fun to talk to that I went for it.I’ll definitely be back to have Jay pierce me again!The girl working the counter, i didn’t get her name, was equally as wonderful!! Answering questions, getting my information and even helping me shop for jewelry. I’m happy I went back after a not so great experience my first time.

Hooked up our baby girl with her earrings. Even let her hold Moolissa while we did it. If I could rate it 10 I would. Cost us 90 bucks and no tears. Bring their birth certificate if they are under age

Went last weekend with my cousin for some tattoos. Tex did them and was great. He was sick earlier in the week and ended up coming in on his day off to get us taken care of since he needed to reschedule and she was in from out of town for a limited time. I was even able to bring my infant with us. While we were there everyone was friendly and professional, the front desk girl was a doll (can’t remember her name but she was so sweet!). Ended up getting my dermals removed spur of the moment by Jay. He was super professional and made sure it was as comfortable as possible for me. Gave great aftercare advice and did his best to minimize scarring. 10/10 will definitely return for tats and piercings!

Love the woman who runs the front desk. She was very friendly. However, Tyler the owner and piercer was extremely rude and impatient while doing my friend’s piercing. He had zero patience with her and seemed annoyed the whole time we were in there. Made my friend feel embarrassed by her reaction to the clamp. She was so upset with the whole experience she ended up taking out her piercing a day or so later. I’m not expecting to be coddled when going into a tattoo parlor.. but the vibe was WAY off.

I got my conch piercing done by Tyler today. I know there were some reviews saying he was overall unfriendly but hes one of the most docile piercers ever. Maybe on busy days you have to wait more than normal and there might be a quick break in between clients. If you can understand that, then give this place a chance, they have been in business for a VERY long time so its a reputable place. He was very friendly and asked if I had any questions before the piercing. He was quick and this piercing was actually a 2 out of 10 on the pain scale. He is AWESOME. Im coming back here again for sure.

Got my nose pierced from Tyler on Saturday. I walked in and maybe waited only 5 minutes and he called me back went in he set me down asked what side I wanted it on and if I was ready and it was done in a matter of seconds and didnt even hurt. The lady at the front desk was such a sweetheart. Will be going back for more thank you.

My mom got pierced. Everyone was very kind, customer service was great! All our questions were answered. Price was good, just $30. It was just a simple nostril piercing, but it went well! It was super speedy quick, took no time at all! Will come again!

My daughters and I went and got cartilage piercings at the same time. The guys there are professional and knowledgeable and did a great job!

So, usually I go to Bomb City, because theyre closer, and Im know the people there. However, my cousin wanted to go to Music Box, and I went with her. We both planned to get our noses pierced. Unfortunately, for her she wasnt able to do it that day, but I went through with it. The people there were very friendly, and answered all of our questions, they man who pierced my nose was very nice. Sadly, I cant remember his name, but he was awesome. I would definitely recommend going for a piercing, and I would to see how they are with tattoos!

Had a belly button piercing that I removed 16 years ago and wanted a new piercing. Told him I had a piercing and he said “ it might still be open, if it is it will save you money”. He charged me $10 for the jewelry, I gave him $20. Great customer service, highly recommend.

Friendly, funny, and helpful staff. Took my daughter here for a septum piercing and couldnt have been more pleased. It was clean front to back, and even more sanitary in the room it was done in. He explained their thorough sterilization process, and gave a very thorough rundown of the process all the way through care. Price was also a LOT less than I expected. I will happily make the four hour drive again, just to have tattoos or piercings done here.

I’ve been going to music box for piercings since I was 14 (with my mom’s consent, of course). Tyler has literally been doing all of my piercings for over a decade. Not only is the shop spotless and the staff friendly, but the services are well priced. Tyler is incredibly professional and makes you feel comfortable no matter what piercing he is doing. He is knowledgeable and will work to make your piercing perfectly placed. I have a rather complicated ear piercing that he measured and pierced to make it even and gave me great instructions on how to care for it. He is also quick and painless in his technique. As an acupuncturist I get many requests to “pierce” people and that isn’t my jurisdiction, but I will always recommend him to my clients. If you want a clean, quick, relatively painless piercing with quality after care instructions I fully endorse this shop!

Honestly, it’s a hit or miss with Tyler. He’s either really mean and will talk to you like your dumb. Or he’s so dope. Also, communication there sucks. I called and asked a question about getting my nose piercing replaced and told her the whole situation and when I got there it was a totally different thing from what they told me ( the difference was like 10 mins from the call and the interaction) . I loved the vibe so came here for a few piercings (4) but after my last experience, I’m good. Rated 3 cuz my piercings always came out fine.

Literally came with my friend to just her nose pierced.. and the guy that was piercing was rude. And I just wanted to be there with her, that’s the reason I went. The guy let another person right before us with two people in there. And kicked me out and said I see enough people everyday, you can wait in the lobby. My friend did not tip. Wasnt a friendly vibe.The piercing was fine.

I have gone there for a few piercings and the younger man i visit is the nicest, as well as all the tattoo artists!tyler however, is just not a friendly guy. it’s a hit or miss with him.the first time, my partner got their nose done and it was way too far down, basically almost hanging off their nose.i went to get the other side of my nose done and swore up and down that it wasn’t placed right and uneven, no matter how many times i asked him to fix it, he just got irritated with me and placed it in the same area, no many how many times i asked him to fix it.he was just rude over all and seemed to have no concern about me, my safety or if i liked it or not.i wasn’t even told my gauge, no warnings or anything.he was very rough with me and not even a month after, no matter how much i cleaned it and tried to save it, my piercing rejected. i love the rest of music box, the people, the staff, the artists, but tyler is very disrespectful, i did not tip and will not go back, which is very upsetting considering i’ve gone to them for all my piercings.

Apparently even with a birth certificate in hand anyone over the age of 13 needs a photo ID to get pierced. Which would not have been a problem except i specifically called ahead to see what all i would need to get my daughters ears pierced and they did not mention this stipulation. I do not like how they handled the situation and i will not be returning for any future services.

I went at end of September and got my nose pierced. The pierce never went over what a keloid is. I have developed one and now have to go get it treated. This is something that the piercers need to inform their customers about. I initially thought it was a pimple, but once I called my tattoo shop that I normally use, the piercer informed me of what the issue and that I need to get it treated or it will continue to grow. Needless to say, because I was never informed of this and how to treat them, I will not be going back to music box for anything else.

I had my heart set on a specific piercing, but, after consulting with Tyler I realized that it wouldnt work with the shape of my ear. Ive went to other piercers in the past who were more worried about making a quick buck than what was in the best interest of the client. I definitely trust the expertise and experience that both Tyler & Jodi have. Piercings are reasonably priced and all my piercings have healed well with minimal pain.

Im not from Amarillo, but dropped by the shop to get my industrial done. Ive been to other shops before, & this was the best piercing experience Ive had so far. I loved the atmosphere of the shop & the piercings were very reasonably priced. The artist, Brandon, was great. His 20 years experience showed in his patience, knowledge, & skill. Im very happy with my piercing & definitely recommend Brandon.

Got nipples pierced. They didnt put. A bar big enough for swelling. I was in a lot of pain & it didnt seem like one of them was healing. I went back & they told me it was fine. I went over to Bomb City to have them take a look. Turns out the piercer pierced way too far back & my piercing was embedding. I had to let it heal & then get them pierced again. I have permanent scarring.. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

After our father passed we took a letter he had written and has his writing tattooed on the 4 of us. Chris Yates was a great artist and helped us all.

Josh is a great tattoo artist, hes done over 8 tattoos for me. Tyler is one of the best pierces in town, hes done quite a few piercings for me. The shop is always clean, friendly staff, great merchandise, and chill atmosphere!

My step-daughter was wanting her cartilage pierced. In the parking lot and the whole time leading up to her piercing she was freaking out, and getting worked up about something she really wanted. The guys here were super chill and professional and helped talk her through it. Plus their artwork looks pretty cool. I’d highly recommend giving them a shot.

Went in for an industrial piercing a few months ago; this place is clean, professional looking, and the people are friendly and willing to answer my dumb questions. Made a few boo boos like forgetting to bring cash so I understand any impatience with me, but my piercing was done what felt a little hasty and badly done. The anti helix is pierced pretty much too near/through the rim of my ear and it is straining it very badly.Im responsible for researching things beforehand but I wish it had been stressed what a big commitment and how sensitive it would be before he did it. The bottom part is done just fine, but now Im stuck with a very sore and tender piercing on top that Im waiting to have taken out. A little more patience and thoroughness would have cleared things up. I wasnt 100% researched on what I was getting myself into, but I feel its the professionals job to double check.

Went to get my first tattoo, a very simple one, and a piercing. Very friendly staff, and a clean environment. Quality of the tattoo was very good, and everything went smoothly and quickly! Left with a really good experience for something very permanent! 10/10 would recommend for body art!

Got my first tattoo. Along with my sister and niece. All of us had a bad experience! The tattoo artist was not friendly at all. The color is horrible! Theres so much of the tattoo missing color. Colors are very faint. I live in another state and will have to get it fixed somewhere else. Will never recommend this place to anyone. Im embarrassed to show anyone!

So about 2 years ago I went in for a nose piercing, my piercer was Tyler he did and absolutely amazing job barely hurt and was done in an instant. I went back to get the other side of my nose pierced about 2 weeks ago and the piercer didn’t do a very good job. He had to do it twice and it actually hurt, it fell out that next morning and when I tried to put it back in it felt like I was hitting a nerve because my jaw and ear would tingle and it just hurt real bad. Next time I go I hope Tyler will be able to do it or i just won’t go anymore!

I was driving through town when I noticed my industrial (pierced at another place) was swelled up to the point of needing to be removed. Tyler was amazing, knowledgeable and all around awesome! He also saved one of the holes! Im sad I live 5 hours away!

I went to this shop for a septum piercing, due to the high star ratings and reviews. This would be my first piercing, with that in mind I was a little ignorant to the proper process. Firstly the man piercing me, did not clamp my nose or take any measurements. Secondly and most importantly piercing directly through my cartilage far too high for a normal septum piercing. With the pain that I felt over the next few days and the massive uncomfortability of the piercing I went to a different location, for a second opinion.Immediately without a Second Glance the obviously more professional piercer advised that I remove the piercing and let it heal.Im not sure if this is a new piercer or a common worker there however I do not recommend anybody go to this location as they do not seem to know what they are doing.

I went there 4 years ago for my first tattoo and I hate myself for it. I told myself I would never regret a tattoo, but I do. I got a small tattoo on my wrist and the lady doing my tattoo didnt inform me if I went too small that my tattoo would bleed into itself and not look the same. I got a tattoo with words, the only reason I know what it says is because i picked it... Its unreadable because it all bled together becoming a blob of embarrassing ink on my wrist. I recommend Tim at Amarillo Body Art co. he is gentle, super nice, and let me know what to expect from my tattoo depending on the size I got it. Plan to use him to cover up this mess on my wrist!

I got my industrial peircing done today and the service was fantastic! Brandon talked me through every step of the way, it was quick and pretty much painless. I would redo this experience over again if I had to and will recommend it to everyone!

So I was really nervous due to previous experiences elsewhere but the piercer was awesome! He did a fantastic job and made me comfortable. Highly recommend.

If I could give zero stars I would. My cousin and I went there recently to get her nose done and she didnt like the placement of the jewelry and asked for him to relocate and he didnt listen and Pierced her in the location she didnt like the placement of and was ruff and rude now shes stuck with it in a spot she doesnt like very disappointed in our experience

I got my dermals here a little over 3 years ago & the entire experience was great. The guy doing my piercings [sorry dont remember his name :( ] talked me thru the whole thing and was super quick. They provided me with the needed information to care for it and up until last month I never had any issues with them besides occasional snags here and there which is expected due to the location of mine. Recently I lost one of my jewels and since I had never changed them I was kinda hesitant to do them so I went up there to have them changed. The new jewelry I got was a bigger size which I love because now I can grip them if I choose to change them again and im grateful the young woman up front suggested I go bigger. The process of changing them was also super quick & painless. I totally recommend this place if youre looking to get dermal piercings.

I just got a tatto from Jodi today and I’m very pleased with how it turned out. I walked right in when they opened, filled out some paperwork, went back and twenty minutes later, the tattoo was done. Their shop minimum is $60 and I spent $100 on my tattoo which I thought was very reasonable considering the quality and size. I definitely would recommend Music Box Body Art Studio for your next tattoo(s).

If I could mark 1/2 or maybe 1/4 of these stars, I would. Their employees seem to have NO customer service experience. The atmosphere had bad vibes, the woman behind the counter taking $$ acted as if she is better & above others. You arent btw. I would suggest the entire crew take a class on Hospitality & practice their customer service skills, or lack of.

Got my septum pierced here about 2 years ago and I love it. Drove from Colorado to get my tongue pierced and I’m so happy I did. Piercer guy is pretty cool too 🤘

Tyler pierced mine and my daughters nose tonight and he was amazing! I kind of panicked right before he did it and then I went down after he was done...I was a baby throughout the whole process and he helped me through every step. He even fanned me...lol

I give them a 5 only on customer service, the piercing I got was nothing like what I showed them a picture of, thankfully I just spent 50$ on it. They were very nice and very clean, but wont go back for piercing.

This review breaks my heart to write. The artist that did both of these tattoos is sadly no longer with us. She passed away shortly after giving me and my sister one of the most meaningful pieces of art I have on my body.I will forever be grateful for Kelly Fink and her amazing talents and her kind heart. Didnt know the lingo of nose peircing. Talked to me like i was dumb, after me apologizing for not know correct term. Main guy proceeded to walk into guy piercer while talking about me. Also called for tattoo was told 2 different things,but that artist was there. showed up, 20 minutes later... tattoo artist had left for the day. Overal a confusing, dissapointing experience for somthing i was excited to do.

We went to get my daughters Helix piercing. It was so fast! Everyone was helpful and kind. The store was clean and my daughter said it didnt even hurt.

Ive used Tyler Berry for about 4 piercings now, he did my Medusa, my vertical labret and my dimples. My Medusa was v crooked so I’ve since removed it, my labret is fine and my dimples were the last straw. He was rude, rushed me, and honestly didn’t listen to a thing I said. I told him the dot on one dimple was way too far down. He told me that it “ really isn’t but okay” and I had a friend look. She said it was way off too. So I asked him to move it. He pierced barely above without asking for my approval. Then I looked in the mirror and to my horror it was still extremely low. I asked him to redo it like a mm higher and he got an attitude with me, told me to sit down and repierced me. He didn’t measure my cheeks so the bars are far too short and I’m having to go to someone else to replace them because I refuse to go back to him. I wasn’t given any care instructions, I wasn’t told my bar length or gauge. Just overall a pretty horrible experience for someone who’s had upwards of 22 piercings.

Piercer smelled of weed and was obviously high while piercing me. Which is whatever, however my piercing was incredibly bruised and sore for way longer than it should have been because he pierced me too slow and got stuck halfway through my eyebrow. Not going here again. At least it was kinda cheap

I got my first piercing ever here which was the industrial piercing not going to lie it did hurt quite a bit but the people were super nice and told me how to clean it and everything definitely going back for my second piercing here 😁👌

I went to get my septum and it was done wrong, all wrong. Crooked, too far back and no where near my sweet spot. So disappointed right now. I have to go and get it re done because it was rushed and forced.

Awful, dude literally finessed me to leave the store....said that they didnt accept cards so he directed me to a non existent ATM than proceeded to close the shop when I was gone walking to find said non existant atm. Dude should be ashamed and not working there. Didnt catch his name but he is an awful person.

They got us in, Tyler pierced my kiddos ears, and we were out in about 30 minutes. Very professional and polite.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I had high hopes for my first tattoo and was devastated when I saw the result. The lines are varying in thickness, jumpy, and smeared. Whenever I show people my tattoo, I have to say “don’t judge the quality” but I cannot afford to get it fixed.

Staff was really nice, allie made me very comfortable since I was getting my first tattoo and everyone was just really welcoming.

Music box was amazing I highly recommend going with Tyler he is calming very quick and efficient he knows what he is doing and has zero errors got me in and out the wait time is a little considering corona but we were there for a total of 45 minutes 👍🏾👍🏾
