You seriously won’t find a more badass group of humans! The work is stellar, the shop is awesome, and the vibe is chill af. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed that much during a tattoo session. I followed Leann from another shop, and will always come back to them (please never leave SoCal because plane tickets are spendy and I could use that $$ on another piece of art). She turned my vision into reality and I can’t wait to come back in for the shading!I also had the chance to see work done by some of the other artists in the shop, and you can’t go wrong with any of them!p.s. kanine krunchies can’t be beat!

My first visit to this studio was impressive! It was by far the cleanest studio ever! And… the artists and their work speak for themselves! A must salon to bring your girlfriends or mother, and feel right at home! Our daughter’s memorial tattoo was given with TLC and she was made to feel at ease. Wow! Looking forward to returning and soon!Oh! Let’s not forget the fun and interesting artwork! Quite a collection!

Lauren did an amazing job, I dont think I could have found a better artist for the piece I wanted done. Shop is very welcoming and inclusive, will be returning.

My favorite private shop down here! I love that it’s appointment only and the artists take their time to produce stunning art work. It isn’t like walk in shops where you expect to be in and out but the quality is both pristine and worth any wait. I started a sleeve with Tacho and wanted to make sure she took her time with the stencil and letting it set since it’s a permanent piece of art. The other shop members are kind and courteous to their clients and overall have a great dynamic. You really feel included with the team while getting tattoo’d. Thanks Slowpoke for being a safe space for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals to come and get tattoos.

The aesthetic in here is really cool and the artists are extremely talented. But it’s not enough to bring me back. My cousin and I came in for a booked appointment that was at 1:30 pm. Got here at 1:20 and her artist wasn’t here yet, which okay no big deal, everyone runs a little late sometimes. However, even when her artist got here, the artist proceeded to lolligag and mosy around as if we weren’t already running behind. She didn’t come get the paperwork for my cousin until about 20 minutes after the scheduled appointment. Then after completing her paperwork, we sat there until 2:30 pm, a whole hour after the scheduled appointment, while she “set up.” But the setting up wasn’t really being done… The artist and her coworker were just standing there talking about topics unrelated to work. After she put the stencil on my cousin, she had my cousin come sit back in the waiting area with me for another 20 minutes so they could “set,” which I’ve never heard of or had to do for my tattoos? So the actual tattooing didn’t end up starting until an hour and a half after the scheduled appointment time. We considered just leaving but my cousin had to put down a $100 deposit when she booked the appointment and we knew we wouldn’t be able to get it back. I don’t understand being appointment only, if the artists are going to be late and nonchalant about their clients time. It would be different had the artist been with another client prior to my cousin, but she wasn’t. So there really is no excuse for the hour and a half we spent waiting around.

Got a mermaid design from Rebecca and am in love with the result! The shop itself is beautiful and welcoming. Rebecca and all the other artists doing their thing were very friendly and I felt very comfortable the whole time. Highly recommend this place :)

Slowpoke Tattoo is the place to go if youre looking for a welcoming safe space with wonderful artists and super cute decor!I have two tattoos from Leann and plan on getting more from them in the future!

Slowpoke Tattoo is a great place to get a tattoo. The shop has great vibes, is beautiful and clean, and the artists are welcoming and friendly. Leann is a talented and thoughtful artist. She enthusiastically embraces my ideas and brings them to beautiful, brilliant life. Shes done 10 tattoos for me this year, and each one has been an incredible experience. And theyve all healed beautifully. 12/10 would recommend and will definitely be back...probably soon.

Slowpoke is a wonderful tattoo shop run by two very lovely people (Rebecca and Leeann). Its clean, well lit and comfortable. I was half naked for my tattoo and at no point felt uncomfortable waking around or interacting with the other artists who were there. Everyone was kind, professional, and funny. Its a safe space for LGBTQ+ folks and all the artist do amazing work. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I am completely satisfied with my experience getting tattooed at Slowpoke. Leann did such a phenomenal job throughout the entire process. From designing the wildest, coolest design from reference pictures, to actually tattooing it onto my arm. The tattoo session was as relaxed as possible and Leann made sure I was comfortable for the entire process. Not to mention shes extremely talented at what she does. I will be coming back as soon as I can, and I definitely recommend this shop to others.

I had a great experience getting my tattoo at Slowpoke. Leann is very talented and drew exactly what I wanted. She is extremely creative. It was fully healed within a week using the saniderm, which required no aftercare once the bandage came off. I highly recommend Slowpoke because the artists are all amazing and the environment in the shop is inviting, clean, and well designed.

Leann is terrific. I have gotten two tattoos from her and I love both of them. Her line work is amazing and coloring equally so. The shop is great. Very clean and welcoming. I’m already thinking of my next one to be done by Leann.

My regular artist, Kelsey, moved to this shop, and I’m beyond thrilled at my experience. The other artists who were working with their clients at the same time I was there were all personable and respectful. Very good vibes here! And the shop’s decor is to die for, to boot! So glad to be coming back for all my upcoming tattoos.

Leann is absolutely amazing. She put together matching color tattoos for me and my fiancé over night. I have been to Leann multiple times, including for a cover up, and have always been blown away by her work. Rebecca has done a few movie related tattoos on my fiancé and he is always so happy with her work. The shop is clean and spacious and beautifully decorated. I will definitely be visiting these lovely ladies for many more tattoos in the future.

I’ve been to numerous amounts of tattoo shops but none stand out like this one. Everyone who works here is super friendly and welcomes you with open arms. Usually when I’m getting a tattoo done I like to talk to distract from the pain and my artist Leann is a great conversationalist! Leann does a great job not only with tattoos but with making sure you’re feeling comfortable throughout the whole entire tattoo process. This is the ONLY tattoo shop I am going to for all my tattoo needs. I highly recommend
