Flying Dutchman Tattoo

As a business owner and neighbor of Flying Dutchman I have come to know the owners Evan and Dre. Genuinely adorable couple and very creative and their customer service is amazing.I brought my Grandson in to get a matching tattoo with me. Evan was so so patient and was able to endure my nervous chatting and my grandson Gabe’s changing vision. Artistic , Creative and state of the art software gave us pieces that we love more than we can express.Reign Salon recommends Flying Dutchman 100%!

I got a walk in tattoo yesterday (not normally allowed) and I’ve never been in such an inviting tattoo shop. They’re all so nice and welcoming. I got a tattoo from Dre and she is SO sweet. She made sure my tattoo was perfect and you can tell she genuinely cares about giving you something you love. She made sure there was not a single little germ on my skin before doing the tattoo, the shop is so nice and sanitary. She also does such sharp line work and made sure it was as bold as possible. I’m 100% going back and I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to get a tattoo.

Did a lot of research locally on a place to get my first tattoo. I heard a lot of good things about Flying Dutchman Tattoo having a good reputation in the area. Ive been thinking about the tattoo idea I had in mind for a long time and decided on a Lord of the Rings Gimli tattoo that I drew a draft of. Originally, I had booked with Dre, but, she referred me to Evan who was more knowledgeable on the subject of LOTR and Warhammer stuff. It came out REALLY good.Evan was really receptive to my ideas while contributing his own and generally stuck with the original idea I had in mind while making improvements on it. I had my 1st session today after my initial consultation about a month ago (due to my schedule). As for the experience of getting a tattoo, I definitely winced quite a lot but I made it through the other end with an tattoo Im really proud to have. Cant wait to finish it with the pattern next month. :)

First off, 5star shop right here. I am filled with tattoos all over and have been iffy on shops since of course, come from a family who knows people who knows people that tattoo and stay in the family, so we usually stick to our own. But this shop, Cigno, (apologies if misspelled) was amazing. She was nice, made me feel comfortable especially since the tattoo was on my butt cheek LOL, and most of all let me sit close to the back in an enclosed in area for comfort from walking in customers or others in the shop. Everyone in the shop was hella cool, even had a little drink mini fridge, and overall just good vibes! I got my tattoo almost a year and a half ago and it still looks amazing with fresh dark ink. Reason for my late review is I am planning to come back and book another ♥️🫶🏼 need a tattoo, big or small, book here

I just left this establishment. First tattoo ever, zero disappointment. The care they put into their work at this place goes way beyond what I expected. Professional, Clean, Friendly and informative. I dont think I could have picked a better place to get my first tattoo.They were playing Dubstep and Drum & Bass when I arrived. It was in that moment I knew I made the right choice.Next time I need some ink, Im definitely coming back here. No doubt about it. Absolutely Preem.

Ok first off made an appointment with cigno. She messaged back very fast and booked as soon as possible.Second the place is amazingly cool. Best shop ive been too. She took me right away , made adjustments she thought would be better and it came out soooo good. Im very happy. Then after she took care of my healing process and explained the after care she took my wife in for her tattoo also. So awsome. I now have a new place to go to permanently.On a side note the other people there including the owner was very very very nice. Made us feel like friends immediately. Some places are very sketchy , make you feel uncomfortable and make it seem you dont know jack. But not here. I left making new friends.

My mother and I went in to get a tribute tattoo for my father who’s passed … and as you can imagine it was a very, very emotional thing to go through. We told them what we wanted and what it was for and we were treated with care. And support. And respect. They made us feel 100% at ease. They were very accommodating and clean and precise. They even went as far as asking if we’d like to light a candle for my dad … I’ve gotten many tattoos, but I’ve never had such a pleasant experience as I did today. We are so thankful and appreciative and we cannot be more happy with our tattoos and our overall experience. Thank you so much for everything. This will live in our brains and hearts forever.

I needed to find a new local artist. I came across Cigno and loved her work. I texted her ideas to cover a huge scar on my arm and she came up with a beautiful piece of work. I absolutely love my new piece of art. Thank you Cigno

Kristina was great she gave me my 2nd tattoo, and did a great job. She and everybody in the shop were nice and friendly. Kristina made sure I was comfortable and ok throughout even made conversation to distract me from the pain.

Cingo from flying Dutchman California is a fantastic artist and extremely professional, we werent able to make our appointment when we gave a non refundable deposit, but she did refund our deposit regardless. She knows how to do business the correct way and is customer centered!I highly recommend her as your next artist

Once I left I honestly regretted getting my tattoo here. To start the tattoo off I got sprayed with rubbing alcohol & shaved the hair that was on my leg & immeditly I went red & was bleeding just fromJohn shaving my ankle. Then it burned super bad because the skin was sensitive. When I called John told me he could do 2 tattoos ( a pizza missing a slice/ then a slice of pizza, matching) in one hour so I would be paying $100 for 2. When I got there I changed the design to two half’s of a pizza matching, he made the size much larger to make it easier for himself with the small details. It took him 2.5 hours to do 2 tattoos & I’ll load the photos. At the end when paying John tells me it’s going to be me a little more than $100 for the hour because of the color & size then he says $300 was my total. How did we go from $100 to $300 but wasn’t told until after the tattoos were done. Then John tells me that he is an apprentice & is still learning how to color match & my ankle was a Difficult spot so it took him longer because he had to go slower & so basically I had to pay for his inexperience was what I feel like I was being told? The shop alone was a good vibe, just little things through the tattoo I tried to over look until the end & I had to pay. I was leaving town going back to Las Vegas so I didn’t have time to discuss the issue but he could see my face & I even tipped him & no discount, apology for the MISCOMMUNICATION NOTHING. He should have said that before he started the tattoo not all the way the end. I should have receive a discount or a curved charge👎🏽👎🏽 John you shouldn’t ever do that to any other customer because what if I didn’t have the money & refused to pay. COMMUNICATION IS KEY, the skin around my tattoo is red & has blood spots, super sensitive to even the air blowing on it & I have multiple tattoos NEVER experienced this before 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽 I’ll be calling the shop for a particular refund for sure, let’s be honest this doesn’t look like $150 worth of work or tattoo 👎🏽👎🏽

I had the most amazing experience at The Flying Dutchman There awesome staff is professional and very friendly, they make you feel right at home. The place is clean and the atmosphere is very cool. The artist are very talented and please their clients with their astounding art work.. I definitely recommend them for all your tatoos. I Will be going back

Love the atmosphere, everyone is kind, and Cigno my tattoo artist is amazing. I’ve seen the other tattoo artist as well and their work is awesome as well. Great place to check out and get your tattoo. Clean tattoo Studio, live the decor and smells good in there too. Definitely the place to go to for a tattoo.

I have been here now twice to get tattooed by Cigno and I will no longer be looking for any new artists or shops. She is absolutely amazing at what she does, I am beyond happy with the work that shes done on me and I cant wait to get more. Not to mention she is super sweet and even though I am slightly anti-social I enjoy her conversation and personality 😁. The shop is very clean and has a nice, calming atmosphere; and the shop owner seems very friendly and knowledgeable as well. Truly a great experience and Im so glad I now have my go-to artist. This was my first tat @ 60. It was small in size but HUGE on meaning for me. Dre was awesome. From the first consult to doing of the deed, she was friendly, caring, informative, honest and straight forward. I would do it again if I got another tattoo. But I wont. YMMV

I did a spur of the moment walk in on a weekend mind you , and was pleasantly greeted ! They had time to listen to what i wanted to get done and fit me in the same day .. the shop fee is extremely reasonable , staff is personable , its extremely cleansly and just all around good vibes ! Id give the shop a thousand stars if it was possible . My artist after finishing the tattoo explained to me in detail what steps I should take to correctly heal as well as protect myself from any infection . This place is amazing and I cannot wait to get more work over the years done here ... Ive been faithful to a shop for 7+ years but sorry ... Flying Dutchman has my heart and Im jumping ship !

I rarely rate anything. If I am even spending a moment to do this there is a reason. This place is beautiful. What a class act. I have had two tattoos here and treated the same, so my experiences were not random.My artists name is Tom. This guy is a consummate professional. Three starts seem inadequate - since it is the highest, ill run with that.The shop is simply classy. You have to check it out for yourself. I have been in several times over a couple years. No one would have any reason to remember me, yet they do.I highly recommend them.

I had an appointment with Lina and she did a phenomenal job in making me feel comfortable and taken care of during the process. All of the people who work here are friendly and personable and the shop is an adorable little gem!

I 1000% recommend The Flying Dutchman, Jaiden was my artist today. I had emailed different shops at 6am to find one that would help me. Jaiden immediately responded to tat my small sentence tattoo. Jaiden was so kind and welcoming. Jaiden had already pre stenciled my sentence out as soon as I walked in the door. The tattoo came out exactly how I wanted it to be and more. This tattoo was so important to be for it was my dads handwriting and Jaiden did above and beyond. If your ever in need of a tattoo I guarantee Jaiden will do the job!

Super happy with my experience here. Victor is a great tattooer and he will be my new guy as long as hes around!!!. But everyone here is so nice and the place is SO CLEAN and so nice. I feel so comfortable here!!

I got a really crappy tattoo covered up BEAUTIFULLY by Chris and Im absolutely in love with it now. Forever going back there to get the rest of my tattoos. Everybody is super chill too. Awesome place. A+. 10/10. Cant give it any greater reviews.

Extremely professional studio. Real artists tat here. Chris Quintanilla commands boss talent. He spent at least an hour just designing my tat, before even turning on the needle. When we were done he applied a Saniderm wrap to the work. I have only been there once but am already scheduled for another appointment

I called in the morning to see if they take walk in the guy on the phone stated yes. We go in and its empty a man comes out and tells us everyone is booked and we should make appointments. Btw all tattoos start at 80 even if its small writing i just went to Oakland where i spent 40 for some small letters that only said love u dad

This shop Never proofread my tattoo and got the spelling completely wrong. I had gotten an infection from the needle I brought this up to them and they cursed me out and kept harassing me after the fact over text message. Overall just very rude and unacceptable. If I keep getting messages from said tattoo artist I’m afraid I’ll have to press charges.

WHAT COULD THAT POSSIBLY HAVE TO DO WITH A TATOO SHOP, EVERYTHING!I MISSED A LONG STANDING APPT. WASTED THERE TIME KEPT THEM FROM MAKING MONEY IN A COUNTRY KILLING US. I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND. I went to this place to make an appointment to get a tattoo, something very simple. A certain Gaden helped me (I dont know if thats how he spells it) so he gave me an appointment for the next day at 2:00 pmThen he canceled on me… I didnt understand why. Then we set a new appointment for today at 12:00 and he tells me that he wont be at the premises until 3:00 pmWithout a doubt, this place lacks seriousness and commitment to the customer. Ill look for another place to get a tattoo. I dont like being wasted my time.
