Hold Fast Tattoo

Took my daughter (6) to get her ears pierced and she was amazing, did an excellent job and did her best to make it not so scary. But not only that as soon as you walk in everyone was so friendly and if it real welcoming which really helped my daughter who was excited but very nervous. Plus when we were leaving everyone was being so nice to my daughter and commenting on her making her leave with a huge smile! Awesome place def getting my business when me and my husband gets our next tattoo (looked thru their books before we left and they do awesome work)

John was very helpful when discussing the tattoo process to make sure we were on the same page with what the final outcome was going to be. I am super happy with how it came out and I definitely recommend and will be back for my next one!!

Joe does phenomenal work. Hes done 17 beautiful skin arts on me. Clean atmosphere, great location.

I brought my cousin to Holdfast Tattoo as a (long overdue) Christmas gift. It was her first tattoo, and Im a certified baby when it comes to needles, but every part of the experience was smooth and comfortable for both of us. John had a calm demeanor and great sense of humor, which put us both at ease.We are both very happy with our finished tattoos and will absolutely come back to Holdfast in the future! The pain may have only been a 4/10 but the experience was a perfect 10!

Best tattoo shop in town. Everyone is very professional. The two main artist Joe and John can be tough to get into. They are both very good and they are booked out way far in advance. But they are definitely worth the wait.

I got my first tattoo here. Joe did an amazing job, he is very skilled. He worked efficiently but he didn’t rush it, which was perfect. Everything was clearly explained in terms of aftercare and I had no issues healing my tattoo, it didn’t even need a touch up.

Shop very clean and fun atmosphere. Thank you Ashley for making my first experience memorable. Will be coming back in the future.

I have gotten 2 tattoos from Joe and I really like them both. Hes patient and makes sure you like the design and placement before starting. Gotta schedule a couple months in advance but worth the wait and quality. Thanks!

Just got my second tattoo done by Joe. He again executed my tattoo perfectly and worked with me to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. I am so so happy with the results. The shop is always clean and friendly. I highly recommend this shop to any of my friends who are wanting a tattoo.

I just had my third tattoo with Joe ( probably 20th tattoo experience overall) yesterday. He and his entire staff made me feel so welcome. I don’t mean to stereotype, but in my experience, the tattoo business has typically been full of people who are generally full of themselves and pretty self serving. These guys break these standards and make the business what it should be....something for the everyman. Good people, good music and great work. You can’t ask for much more.

I got a cover up and could not be more please.The one thing I seen that I was impressed with was how everyone took part in cleaning when they was not busy.They all treated me with respect and they all got each others opinions to make sure the tattoo you was getting spot on.Very professional. I would never recommend a place to anyone but Holdfast is one I definitely would.Joe I appreciate the awesome JOB and the lunch.THANKS TO ALL

I just got my first tattoo done and Riley took her time and made sure that I was okay through the entire thing. She was super sweet and made sure that I knew that I could change my mind about the position and color. She is amazing. And my tattoo looks amazing.

Very clean shop, Aubrey was fabulous and very professional, friendly, and productive. However, as Aubrey was finishing up my tattoo, the owner of the shop scolded, belittled, and reprimanded Aubrey publicly which made me very uncomfortable and I felt was highly unprofessional and counterproductive. The issues that the owner had could have been discussed in private, as the issue was not particularly prudent in the moment. All in all, I loved Aubrey, but I will not come back to holdfast because the owner come off as an egotistical male who felt the need to ambush the young woman who was tattooing me. As a woman, it made me very uncomfortable. In addition, the confrontation could have throw Aubrey off kilter to make a mistake in her work. Luckily, she didn’t let this phase her and did an amazing job. Thanks girl!

I was looking for a tattoo on my birthday,I needed to cover up a bad time in my life, I walked in and Riley was so helpful,she had me come in a couple hours later, gave me a beautiful tattoo, so friendly, professional,very clean, they made you feel like family.i would continue to go there for future tattoos. Price was so fair and in a great timely manner.

Beautiful and exceptional shop in the heart of Ashland. The artists are professional and shop is a work of art. The wait time for work is long so book a session with your artist early. Not a shop that is going to accommodate drop in appointments. Worth the wait for beautiful high quality work.
