Do your research on your artist. Faith is incredible at what she does and her portfolio is my supporting evidence for this statement. I still get compliments on my calves after a year of being healed. I often recommend her to my close friends and family because her line work is crisp, her detail is always remarkable and she has a great eye for how to place pieces. The most important thing about Faith is she will tell you her honest opinion and even potentially tell you no. This is what you want from an artist, someone who knows their limitations. Just had my chest piece done by Faith (@faithfondart)! It’s everything I wanted it to be from the color to the tasteful asymmetry. From the stencil and taking the time to ensure it was truly centered to also taking care to ensure my comfort and offered breaks in case I needed them. Space was clean and sanitary as well. Even took the time to clean and cover the piece every time I went to the restroom.

Faith is absolutely amazing. She’s always the sweetest, checking in and making sure you feel okay and are comfortable. And her work is phenomenal! I will always be coming back!

I had Faith as my artist and she was wonderful. She custom designed my tattoo for me and was so helpful in finding a good placement. Her work is top tier. Josh has an amazing mind and is an exceptional tattoo artists. He did an amazing job on my children Memorial tattoo period. Thank you Josh for the tattoos. Travis is awesome, always!! He has done my industrial, and more recently my vertical labret. He is so knowledgeable, gentle, and makes sure you are comfortable. Love him, and will always come to him to get pierced, and I recommend you do, too!

My friend and I went for a walk in piercing a couple weeks ago and would not recommend going. Instead of it being Travis it was a different girl who didn’t seem very experienced and professional. She refused to do my friend’s septum after we were already in the room and she was marking my third lobes and agreed to do our piercings. She said it was because she was too shakey, but still would do mine. I just didn’t feel comfortable after she said she was too shakey to do my friends and wish she would have just refused us both and been upfront about being shakey BEFORE agreeing to do them. It was also pricey.

My sister and I got our nose pierced by Travis and he did a great job! I had my nose pierced about 6 years ago at a different place in Bay City and had a bad experience that resulted in it getting infected and I let it close. The experience between that place and the Electric Chair was night and day (this other place was highly rated too). Travis was very knowledgeable and made us laugh and feel comfortable. He was clean and professional as well. He walked us through aftercare and the healing process. Any future piercings we plan to go back here to Travis!

I got my ears pierced by Travis. Even though I was a walk-in, he gladly took me right in. He also took the time to make sure he got the placement just right. He was really cool and down to earth. Yes the jewelry is more expensive than other places, but who really wants cheap junk in their ears long term, anyways. I walked into a local well known competitor before choosing Electric Chair, and they seemed almost scared to do the piercing, and they also had very limited options on jewelry. Im glad I went with Travis.

Clean, professional, inviting. Even though my call was missed it was returned and I was able to come in same day, the artist made sure Everything was spelled correctly and that I was Satisfied. It’s exactly how I wanted it. I believe his name was Isaac or something close but I’ll definitely recommend them.

Josh is awesome, my wife sees him often and I’m starting to become a regular client of his too. All the artists are super talented and friendly so you’ll be in good hands no matter who you go with. Great artwork/people/prices, can’t ask for more than that!

The tattoo artists are chill, kind of cramped space but thats fine, however while i was there getting a tattoo someone had come in asking if they were looking for an apprentice and the person at the front desk didnt take them into another room to talk to them they just said no, which its fine but stuff like that should be in private however after he told her no, the guy decided to go to the back where everyone was customers and artists alike and was bragging about denying her and making fun of her, which is fine in private with your employees but when you have clients there too its very unprofessional and then told my tattoo artist that she was lucky they even hired them, again the artist are all fine and cracking jokes but the guy at the front i dont think is an artist was just very unprofessional.

Got my snake bites done today had an amazing experience!! Definitely going to let them put more holes in me 🤙🤘cant wait to get our tattoos on the 26th. All around great atmosphere in the shop definitely good people and good vibes. Thanks yall for the great experience. Definitely cant wait for many more 🤘

Arthur Bone is an amazing, and professional, tattooist. I saw work he did on someone, went to him and he seriously nailed it. I will never go anywhere else. I was over the terrible people in the industry, but his love for it brought me back! Not only was Arthur , in Clio, amazing, but Travis, in Bay City, knocked it out of the park. On my daughters 16th birthday we went to another place, in Saginaw, to get her navel pierced. It was the day before and they told her to come back with a birth certificate and theyd do it. She was so excited. Well, I drove 3 hours, got a photo printed from Walmart of the birth certificate just to get there and have the same person tell her they now wont do it because she, didnt have the anatomy. After telling her the day before they would. Travis got her right in, was extremely professional and caring and made her day! Cant say thx enough to these guys!

This shop was everything you can hope for in a tattoo parlor. The staff was nothing short of talented, welcoming and friendly. They immediately were full of smiles and friendly conversation to make you feel safe and welcome in their workspace. The artists are all extremely talented and are clearly passionate in their work.Drove over 9 hours to go to this shop and it was worth every minute.

Travis was very professional. He explained everything and made good suggestions as to jewelry choice. Talkative and fun. Autoclaved my jewelry choice while I waited. Didnt feel nervous. Not much pain. Was in and out in about 30 minutes. I recommend Travis for your piercing needs.

Extremely nice place for getting a tattoo or a piercing. My daughter wanted a nose piercing and was scared to get it done. Travis was awesome and knew exactly how to calm her down. Pricing was decent and an all around great place.

Professional, established shop. With quality artist. I’ve been going there for 19 years always been extremely satisfied and never had an issue. It’s a friendly creative environment and I always feel relaxed and comfortable there, which is important when getting hours of tattoo work done. I also believe they have the best tattoo artist around in Joshua Gerics. I urge anyone thinking of getting a tattoo or body piercing to go in talk to them and check the place out!

I got my tattoo 6 years ago from Aaron and it still looks great ! Havent had to have any touch ups or anything. I came in with a random design of paw prints and wings and he recreated a new one to look good on the ankle area. I love it. Painter has also done 2 piercings and he did a very good job. I was underage at the time and my mom was impressed with the cleanliness and sterile procedures.

The Owner of this place yelled at me on the phone. Told me i was rude and inconsiderate of how much money he is losing and the inconvenience its caused him to move apts and close for 3 days, like its my concern his business is losing money. I was upset my apt was going to be moved out a month and a half for them to do a 3 day “covid-19 renovation” that just so happens to fall on my apt day. I already have been waiting a month and a half. My apt was 4 days away when they canceled. i booked my “$100 non-refundable no-cancelation” apt back in September. I lose $100 if i cancel on them. But no big deal they cancel on me and i miss out on my time. My apt being moved a few days would of been fine but who wouldnt be upset they have to wait ANOTHER, month and a half? After getting yelled at I was then abruptly transferred to a nice woman that apologized and said “he probably shouldnt of been at work today, a close friend of his died recently.” So i got the backlash of the tattoo shop owners personal life. Not how i believe business should be conducted. Zero stars for their BayCity shop.

I had a tattoo that I needed fixed up (a tattoo that was done somewhere else) and the minute I walked in, I was treated great and my tattoo was fixed immediately the next day. Best work I’ve had/seen done around this area!! I can’t thank them enough for the great experience and this amazing tattoo.

Had Travis do two of my piercings a couple months apart. He did a great job and they both healed with no problems.

Clean, friendly, and professional. While we were there, they actually did the right thing and made a 17 year old go home to get more documentation before they would do the tattoo. Kudos for not turning a blind eye. We will be back for any future tattoo/piercing needs.

Super good crew here. The owner bought a whole box of candy bars from a little girl to keep her from going door to door for fund raising then gave them away to customers. They really care about their community.
