Hometown Tattoo

Had a memorial tattoo for my Aunt Ellen who recently passed at 104 years old. Talked to Holly and felt comfortable with her abilities. She quoted me a time and price and was spot on. Shes very nice and friendly. It was a very comfortable process. I would go back to her without question. Very talented. Very happy with my tattoo. I have appt. 16 tattoos and am very proud of the work Holly did!!

I got my long-awaited nose piercing done with Lola, and the whole experience with her was 10/10. Shes very professional (with a very steady hand), incredibly knowledgeable about her craft, and genuinely cares for the wellbeing of her clients. After piercing with Lola, I dont think Id ever trust anyone else with my piercings from now.Beyond the piercing experience itself, what really sets Lola apart is the quality of support and care shes given during my aftercare journey. From patiently answering my endless questions to providing ample information on what to do and what to use (the BrioTech solution she carries works wonders). I even had to remove my piercing for a scuba diving vacation and get it reopened the week after. Though I was a tad worried, Lola did her best to prepare me, talking me through what to expect.From the initial piercing to each follow-up appointment that Ive had with her over the past few months, she has never once made me feel rushed or that any of my questions or concerns were silly, always listening actively and being present 100% during our appointments.Besides being great at her craft, Lola is an amazing, lovely human being and Im truly grateful to have pierced with her!

Lola is a professional and knowledgeable. She reopened an old piercing quickly, with hardly any pain. She answered all my questions. Everything was clean and the decor is cool. Recommend her services for all piercings.

Holly is so great!! She is kind and funny and patient and super real. She took the time to make sure that we liked the style and placement and size etc. Shes super light handed and gentle, we got our hands done and it barely hurt.Also her art is so cool! We will definitely be booking again!

This is the second time Ive seen Lola for a piercing because the first time was so amazing. Lola explains everything before she starts, during and all the aftercare info. Received my first 2 cartilage piercings here from Lola. She did an amazing job communicating up front in email, selecting piercing sites and gauges during the appointment, and educating me on aftercare.Shes very passionate about her work and really ensuring her clients (both adults and kids!) understand what they want.Would recommend to anyone for piercings.Update: Lola is still excellent, and has helped me greatly with aftercare.Update to the update: I now have a conch piercing on the other ear.

I’m honestly terrible about writing reviews, but I really wanted to make sure I left one for Lola. Lola was so freaking amazing the entire appointment. From the moment we walked, to the moment we left, they made us feel welcomed and oh so educated. Not only do my piercings look freaking FIRE! But I feel so confident with my piercings because I know a true professional did them. Plus I literally feel like a queen, so yaaaaasss.Also, Hometown Tattoo is SO COOL! I love how they put together the entire studio. The owners paintings will have you mesmerized.

I got a nose piercing here & couldnt be happier with the experience! Lola the piercer is amazing & was so kind & informative! Everything was very clean & she made sure I felt comfortable the whole time, the piercing barely hurt & even tho I felt a bit faint after she was quick to act & got me anything I needed to be able to recover quickly! I never leave reviews but I really feel like it’s important to let the greater Seattle area know what an amazingly awesome and incredibly knowledgeable piercer Lola is! I went in for a nose piercing (had it pierced twice before) and to my complete surprise, the hole was still open after 10+ years! Lola thoroughly explained the ins and outs of a piecing (something I never experienced with all other piercings I have had in the past) and we did a reopening instead :) Lola is just plain awesome. Easy to talk to, so damn smart and KNOWS her profession inside and out. Highly recommend her for your piercing needs!

Lola is the best :) I had my ear reopened here. Initially I was planning to do the ear piercing here( I had ear piercing before but I thought it is closed as haven’t wear any earrings for almost 10years) but after mentioned that to Lola and she took a look and told me it is not close and just need to reopen. I am so happy as reopen is easier for after care and I can wear my own jewelry, Also much cheaper! When doing the reopen, Lola is so kind and experienced, one of my ear just took maybe 5second to reopen, didn’t even know when she is already done… another took little longer time, it is a little pain, but she kept talking to me about what she is doing and explaining, so I am not having any fears. She is so nice and I definitely recommend.

My friend recommended me to see Lola for my septum piercing. I had never met Lola, but my friend made the appointment and me and my friend got our piercings done together. It was an absolute pleasure from the moment I walked into the shop. It was so personable and I felt so safe and informed on everything that was going on from the minute I walked into the room from the minute I left after checking out. I am really happy with the nose piercing I received from Lola. I was made to feel very comfortable and relaxed throughout the process. Lola did a great job of talking me through what would happen as well as giving great aftercare advice. The piercing itself was relatively quick and pain free and a week later is healing up nicely.Lola is a really interesting person and obviously knows her stuff. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation and the entire experience. I would absolutely go to Lola for any piercing work in the future. Went to get some earlobe piercings done, and Lola was very patient and helpful throughout the whole process. She explained all my piercing options well and gave very informative after care tips. I was nervous at first, but it turned out to be a surprisingly enjoyable experience.

Lola is a wonderful piercer in every way possible. Went back in 2022 for my first piercing with Lola since 2017 (which healed perfectly) and Im never going to anyone else ever again. 100% clear communication before and during appointments, comfortable atmosphere, and absolute professionalism and artistry are only a few things that make Lola the best.

This is the place to go if youre feeling anxious about body modification or need an artist with a kind disposition and great bedside manner. I wanted multiple piercings, but put it off for years due to anxiety and a fear of needles. Lola was so kind, understanding, and respectful, saying that she works with neurodivergent clients all the time and there would be no pressure to get anything done until I felt I could give informed consent and was feeling safe and powerful about making this decision. She also took care to learn about my preferred aesthetic and try out different earrings and markings.In one week I went from feeling nervous about my piercings to confidently getting two of them. We waited until I was comfortable in the chair and Lola advised me to breathe deep until I was in meditation, and then I barely felt the actual piercing. Two days later, the after care regimen is working and the piercing looks like its always been there. I feel so supported and have even added an extra two piercings to my wish list. This was an awesome and empowering experience, and I will definitely be scheduling with Lola for any future piercings!

I’ve been dealing with an infected nose piercing for a while, and it recently had gotten pretty bad. I figured I’d get it switched out to a stud for it to properly heal. I called Lola to schedule an appointment and she gave me all the details I needed to know like price range, cash only notice, things to do beforehand, etc.when I got to the shop to examine my piercing, we realized that it was a pretty serious infection that was causing a lotttt of trauma to my nose due to the poor quality jewelry that I chose. Lola was soooooo helpful, patient, and informative. I was telling her about both the good and bad experiences I’ve had with different piercing shops, and surprisingly- she guessed each place that I went to, correctly. That’s how you know she’s legit. Her knowledge in the industry is unmatched.Her next client showed up and was waiting for a while because our appointment ran later than expected (we didn’t anticipate how bad my infection was) but I never once felt rushed, she sat down with me and explained everything and made sure I felt comfortable with how to take care of my nose.I’ll eventually re-pierce my nose again once it heals, Lola tried to give me an option to check out other piercers if I wanted to shop around. I said nope, there’s no need- I’m coming back here. Lola is seriously the best at this, I’m so glad I found this place!

Amazing experience! I had a piercings done by a different clinic and I was worried it was becoming infected.. I called hometown tattoo and Lola was awesome about getting me in right away and giving me so much amazing information about my piercings!! Katie is one of the best artists I have ever worked with, hands down. She has a great attitude, is low key enough to make you relaxed but funny enough that youll laugh at least a couple times during your session, and most importantly, she does incredible work. We have been working on mermaid scales down the side of my leg for about a month and a half now and will be wrapping it up next month. Despite not being done yet, Im already beyond thrilled with the way it looks. Im impressed most by the way she is able to modify and adapt the piece as we go, throwing out ideas and changes to help create the best version of the piece. Props to this sweet little spot for being my new favorite tattoo parlor!! I am and will absolutely continue to be a return customer!

This was my first tattoo (at age 51), and because of this amazing tattoo artist it will definitely not be my last. Mark not only created this work of art, but he designed it as well. I had given him some ideas of what I might want, before the appointment. When I got there, he showed me his version and I fell in love with the design. It was better than I had imagined. I look forward to our next meeting (sometime in the next 2 months) to see what he comes up with.

Just got my fifth Mark Skintattoo! So awesome! He moved the placement several times just to make sure that it looked really great. Some tattoo artists don’t like to make any changes but he didn’t mind at all. He had no problem making changes on the fly and just drew a mountain, freehand (no reference) and dropped it into this incredible forest scene he did for me. OMG I am so happy with it! Waterfall looks like there is water flowing over and around these rocks...it’s amazing looking.

Ive had Katie do two of my tattoos, so far, and they are both perfect. The first I provided her with reference images, a Fox and a bottle of Boodelooap (look up Ylvis to get it) and she drew it up and put it on my skin. The color pops so well, I know it will be this gorgeous forever. The 2nd tat I designed, but, again, the color in this is so perfect. Its a tribute to my dad and one that will stay fresh forever. Be aware, though, she has a long lead time. Absolutely worth it.

Tattoos are wonderful!!! But I couldnt find their location. I need a gift certificate for an upcoming birthday and after going up and down 101st. I found a very small sign on the street(even using gps) but when I tried to find the business (looked like it shared the building with other businesses? ) I never could find the suite listed on Google. I only got voicemail when calling. Is this business still opened?? Anyone know???

Ive gone in 5 times in the last 13 months and absolutely love it there! Katie has done all of my tattoos in that time and does awesome work!

Got an adorable $50 deathstar tattoo on May 4th for their Star Wars May the fourth be with you special. The artists there are light handed, super knowledgeable, comforting, and fun. Definitely going back for more work there in the future.
