I have wanted a tattoo for years, finally got one about 2 weeks ago with Chris. Sent him a design idea & made appointment thru chat. He had my design ready for approval when I arrived & got started right away. Fun shop with plenty to look at while Chris is working & chatting with you. He was quick, reasonable & put me at ease since it was my first tattoo. He joked I would probably be back for another & hes right, I am thinking of what I want next. Chris gave me care instructions but I opted to go the saniderm route the first few days followed by cleaning & moisturizing with hustle butter. It has healed quickly, no itching, very little peeling & the saniderm protected it the first few days. His shop is right on Cortez on the way to AMI. He does take walk ins but the appointment & sending design ahead was convenient.

Giving this shop a 5 star, if I can give more stars I would. Been going to Chris for years, he’s done majority of my tattoos and I get tons of compliments. He does great work.

Me and my bestie are on vacation and decided to stop in and see what they had we both got tattoos and we love them he was very friendly and funny, was quick and prices were great. We had such a good time and love his work we are both going back in a couple of days to get another one...

Christopher was awesome!!!. He got 5 tattoos done in an hour. They was small tattoos for me and my family. We went a couple days ahead of time and made an appointment with him. We got in and out with no problem. He is a very talented person with good taste. Memory lane tattoo definitely made our vacation that much more enjoyable and memorable.

Chris did my first tattoo while I was vacationing in the area. The experience was awesome and easy! After setting an appointment(if you’re visiting the area, do this early in your trip so that you get a tattoo done before you leave!), Chris reached out to confirm designs for my tattoo and my fiancé’s who was also getting his first tattoo. Cleaning and care instructions were clear and easy to follow. Healing process is going very smooth! Thanks for the great work and friendly banter while we got our tattoos done!

I came here to have a tattoo fixed (which was done horribly by another shop in SRQ). Chris was amazing. He really knows the art of tattooing and he was able to fix my tattoo and make it look so much better. I also got a starfish, which I wanted as realistic as possible, and he definitely delivered. Im super into realism and very picky with my tattoos. Im SO happy with the results. His prices are VERY fair; he does not gouge you or overcharge. I am definitely coming back again for other work that I want done. Thank you, Chris... you rock!

Me and my family all got tattoos together here. It was cheap and he was super nice but all 4 had some part messed up. He did offer free touch ups and was very nice and understanding especially for a first tattoo. Now that it’s bled some the lines have kinda blended together so it’s not as bad but you can see where it was double lined and done unevenly with two pressure points.

Went in to get some hanna and unfortunately it did not take. I followed instructions & I didn’t remove it prematurely. The artist was friendly but the poor quality of the hanna ruined the experience.

My cousins and I decided to get tattoos last minute and Christopher got us in the same day. He was very friendly and really helpful, especially when it came to helping us with our designs and had a lot of patience with us considering we changed our minds a lot. He was fast but it turned out sooooo good! Highly recommend!

Let me start by saying I have wanted to get this tattoo for about 15 years, it’s not huge or colorful or dramatic but it has meaning and it is really special to me. As a Cancer Survivor, heart attack survivor and Lupus patient getting a tattoo is a big deal to me. (Maybe this sounds silly to many of you who do it all the time, but I was a big chicken of permanent ink on my body) and the couple times I have actually walked into a place to get it done, it didn’t feel right. I wasn’t at ease, instead I always felt the need to turn around and leave… so I did. Today I walked into Memory Lane Tattoo only expecting to collect information and MAYBE set an appointment to come back another day. But I was greatly surprised when I was greeted at the door with such friendly people and they were so helpful. The owner/artist made me feel so relaxed he immediately went to work recreating my design, and within about 10 minutes he shocked me by telling me that he was ready to get started! I was in and out quickly and the cost was so affordable I couldn’t help but tip him graciously. I totally recommend Memory Lane Tattoo! They are truly a class act. I enjoyed my experience so much I am ready to plan my next tattoo soon!

My friends and I are on Spring Break and Chris got us all in within the week so easily! He tattooed 4 of us within two hours and did such an amazing job, his line work is awesome and he is super personable and has a great sense of humor. Chris is very skilled and a true artist who works quickly and skillfully. He is very easy to work with, very accommodating and easy to talk to. We will come back to him for all future tattoos as his work is far superior to any we have gotten before.

My dad and I got tattoos at Memory Lane about two weeks ago and Im very pleased. My dad had never gotten a tattoo before and was pretty nervous but Chris was very patient and worked with him over the course of several visits to narrow down the design. Chris also lent his professional advice to the color choice for my tattoo and it came out exactly how I had imagined. While getting the tattoos he indulged our conversation the entire time and made us feel very comfortable. He followed safety and sanitation standards and our tattoos have healed well. I would definitely recommend this tattoo parlor.

Nice shop. Very professional. Set up appointments a week a head of time as we are from out of state even though walk in appointments are welcome. Answered all of my questions promptly and was patient with me through the week long process. Smooth and fast piercer. Also has a nice even weight to his hand while tattooing. Would recommend!

Dude was cool but definitely rushed through my tattoos, I got 2 one on my shoulder and one on my ankle and the ankle he just decided to Grey it out instead of doing black fading to grey and that fading into my skin tone , it’s fine I just had him black out the whole thing but then he did a mediocre job blacking it out and the shoulder one is amazing but like there’s a part where he straight up just like didn’t draw in the lines on one part …. Yea soo just watch and ask a lot of questions before you let him do anything to your body

Chris was awesome. My friends and I stopped in spur of the moment. He spent a lot of time with my friend finding what would be best to cover up a difficult tat on her finger. He was very patient. I absolutely love this tattoo place. I have had both of my tattoos done here and Chris is amazing. Reasonably priced and he does a great job. My always is the newest one and I bought the hemp lotion he sells and best product Ive used no itching with this tattoo at all. Will be going here for more tattoos.

Chris did a memorial tattoo, a simple folded American flag in honor of my dad and knocked it out of the park. He was able to incorporate dimension an depth to the weathered flag and I could not be more grateful for a job well done. Chris also fixed a mistake made by another artist and even changed my mermaids hair color after my divorce! Chris is a master tattooed and has provided me with a product I love.

I was a walk-in and it was my first tattoo. Chris was amazing and super friendly. I gave him a custom idea of what I wanted and within minutes he had it ready to go. Both Mickey and Chris were so friendly. Good conversation and atmosphere.Artist light handed, which makes a huge difference. Ive had 3 tattoos done other places locally and by far from beginning to end this was the best experience. Mickey was my artist. I gave him 7 pictures to show him what I wanted. he redrew and combined perfect. placement was my foot (hummingbird and flower) not a lot of space but he added a lot of detail to the size I chosen.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Such a friendly feeling and all the guys that work there are great. And the work, well I am so very impressed, not only did Mickey clean up the drawing I gave him to make it look its best, he used his knowledge and artistic creativity to make it even better than I imagined. Chris did 2 henna tattoos and a traditional tattoo for us. The 1st round of henna apparently was not a good a good batch, as it didnt even leave a mark. But he was quick to welcome us back and redo. Still visible a week later. The atmosphere is very clean, upbeat, and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

Chris did a great job of recreating my tattoo from a picture of a picture! I am 68 years old, a nurse, and never have had a tattoo.The shop was clean, Chris made me very comfortable and in 15 minutes, I had a tattoo. My daughter, grand daughter and I all had tattoos done together at Memory Lane Tattoo Co. yesterday.Since this was my granddaughters first tattoo, we were very picky and wanted to find just the right place to have it done. We could have not found a better place, or asked to be treated any better than we were. Christopher and Mickey are absolutely fabulous. They gave us all of the time we needed to make sure everything was perfect before we started, and they both have a very light touch, which is a huge deal. My grand daughter was very nervous, and expecting it to be very painful. and after it was done, she was amazed at how little discomfort there was. We all were. I have had tattoos done elsewhere before that made me think they were carving bone, and its no fun. My experience yesterday was the best I have EVER had. If you want quality work, great prices and to be treated like you are top priority, this is where you need to go. They will be seeing me again!! Thank you MLTC!!!

Found these guys by reviews and have to say, totally agree. I was on vacation at Anna Maria Island and had been planning my tattoo for almost 2 years. Decided that it would be an extra memory for the occasion. Mickey was an excellent artist as well as being friendly and courteous. In fact, my mother and brother went back the next day and had tattoos done as well as my grandmother, other brother and two cousins had henna tattoos. Overall a great experience!

I had an awesome experience at Memory Lane, I went in with an idea for a tat and within a very short time talking with Chris he came up with a great idea. The design was perfect and exceeded my vision. The tattoo is amazing the line work is very precise and like I said exceeded my expectations.I highly recommend getting any work done you need at Memory Lane.Do yourself a favor and go in and talk to Chris, you owe it to yourself to get the BEST.

I had two tattoos done by another company, and lets just say they peeled and the line work was terrible. Needless to say I was very upset. I went to Memory Lane Tattoo to have them looked at and re done. What a difference. Not only did I have these two re-done, I also had another piece created. First tattoo here. I dropped off some pics of what I was looking for and Chris put together a worthy sketch for my consult: a front facing eagle with seraphs wings, grasping a downward sword. The front facing eagles head has an almost Batman like dark gaze. Very much what I was looking for. Black and gray.I arrived for my appt at noon, with an estimated 2 hours for the work. Paperwork signed, he showed me the new and unopened utensils. Everything was immaculately clean. Great conversation while he worked and I wouldnt call it painful... more of a prolonged discomfort. It was easy to ignore it as an irritation while chatting.Chris is insanely fast. The trace-work was done in 30 minutes, and this Eagle has much detail in the feather work. We took a smoke break and then finished in another 30 minutes. He wrapped it, printed the aftercare sheet and it was good to go.All in all, Im very pleased with the entire experience and look forward to my next piece.

I went to Florida visiting for a long weekend and wanted to get tattooed while I was there and called this shop. Chris was very friendly on phone and when I arrived greeted us. He gave advice on what to do as far as the tattoo and showed me the needles still in the package that were brand new. The price was decent and he took his time. He has a Midwestern vibe and sense of humor which my friend and I enjoyed because we are from Indiana and Ohio. His friend and fellow artist there were as well and we all had some good laughs which makes it nice just because tattoos are painful. This is my 12th one and I received a lot of compliments already and have only been home for 2 days. If I visit Florida again I will make sure to stop in there. Thanks again!

This place was absolutely awesome. Chris and Sarah were just as sweet as can be. We discussed the designs my daughter Brandy and I wanted and off we went to the room I was scared to death and my eyes were darting everywhere. I told Chris how scared I was and he was so gentle with me. He has a light hand and very quick. The whole thing took about 10 mins. While yes it hurt when I said stop I need to breathe which yes is very important he quickly stopped and made me feel comfortable again. When it was time for my daughters turn he was awesome at letting me take thousands of pictures while he worked. Their shop is very very clean. He took time to make sure we knew he was using brand new needles and I was impressed when he spilled a little paint that he took time to clean it up right away. His art palace is immaculant as is his work! I just have to mention that he has the kindest eyes. When I expressed how scared I was he just was awesome in how he handled me. Ive been tatted 4 times by Chris. LOL. No ones tattooed me more than once, so that says something! Lol Also, Im very picky and detailed about my tattoos, and Chris will edit or copy anything you want and not get annoyed with you, like some artists do. I highly recommend this shop!!! 2 thumbs up!!

Got my tattoo a year ago and it is already fading like Ive had it for 30 years. The shop I took my friend today said there is no circumstance that it should be faded this much in a year. Also, everyone said that he overcharged me for such simple work.

Youre better off having a drunk acquaintance ink you up with a tattoo gun he made out of a cassette player and a guitar string at a kegger.Find someone else. Anyone else.Just because someone can draw on paper doesnt mean they can tattoo.
