The tattoos exceeded our expectations, but thats just the beginning, Branden is an amazing guy with incredible talent. The work was perfection. The conversation helped to ease any possible anxiety that may have been present. The aftercare instruction was very thorough. The entire experience was top notch. We are very lucky to have this level of talent and skill in our area! I highly recommend One Life Tattoo.

I had Branden do a large mandala on my right upper arm around 3 years ago, I was anxious because I knew I would be sitting for longer than an hour and honestly what do you talk to another person about for that long that you don’t know. Branden made this whole process so smooth and basically as painless as it could be.. what started out as a 2 hour block turned into 4, and we didn’t stop talking the whole time, plus needless to say I get compliments still all the time on my tattoo. This is why Branden is the best tattoo shop in Brainerd, it’s not just about how many tattoos that he can shove into a day it’s about the art and the experience for the person.

Arnie is always willing to help! so in love with my tattoos!one life has high standards in the art of tattooing and their belief of what tattoos should be and how they should be done. this makes me have peace of mind and i trust them and what they do. theyre truly the best.

I am truly heartbroken and disappointed with my overall experience with Branden. I put my trust, faith and hard earned money into having a sleeve tattooed only to be left with a mess to figure out. My sleeve is poorly done with sloppy shading, color not followed through throughout the sleeve and no work done on cover up area. Branden holds himself at a high standard when it comes to his expertise. However, after 10 or more 2 hour sessions I am left with a poorly done tattoo sleeve. I provided Branden with many pictures and ideas for sleeve which he did not follow at all. Branden did not follow through on providing intricate work for the amount of money he charges hourly. Often he would only actually tattoo for a little over an hour yet charging for two hours. He would continue to leave areas unfinished which would require another session. It is neverending. I feel that Branden took advantage of me, stretched process out so he could make more money. I sold many things to afford this venture and all I have to show for it is a sleeve that is poorly done, not completed and am embarrassed to show anyone. When I approached Branden about my concerns- they were met with unprofessional behavior/remarks.I would not recommend having Branden work on you unless you are rich and dont mind blowing a lot of money for work that is mediocre at most. This has been an awful experience and am amazed that he stays in business treating customers in this manner. Also, I have written reviews previously but they seem to disappear somehow? BEWAREThis is the results I am stuck with after 10+ 2 hour sessions

I have been going to One life for seven years and I have so many tattoos by Branden and they are all amazing. I know so many people friends and family and they all love his work because he does such an amazing job. He is very good at what he does. He is a great tattoo artist with all the different styles he can do and his detail is amazing. He is such a fun guy to just hang out and get a tattoo done by. He is very cleanly and he is very well educated in his line of work. I feel very well taken care of when I go there and that’s why I choose to go no where else and I always recommend my friends and other people I know to go here.

I dont think I can recommend the One Life crew highlyenough, Ive been getting tattooed here for 7 yearsnow I think, and I would never want to go anywhereelse, I am currently in the process of finishing up an amazing sleeve with Branden and have 10 other tattoos besides the sleeve done by him,all of them awesome. Branden has some of the most amazing detail andhe will make sure that you leave with an incredible oneof a kind piece of art. I have not been tattooed by Arnie, but his work is amazing as well. And no matter who you get tattooed by, the work will be incredible and you will leave with an awesome tattoo, they are both big on communication to make sure you get the desired outcome. If you are thinking of getting a tattoo and you feel nervous or intimidated going into a shop, you will find going into One Life to be the opposite, the shop is well kept and the vibe is chill, the whole crew here is awesome and you will be well taken care of, whether it be tattoo or a piercing with Kaitlin (shes awesome!). 20/10 would always recommend! I have 2 tattoos now by Branden, one half sleeve and the start of another. After having his art work on my body, I will not go anyplace else for my work. He runs a very clean, professional shop. Everyone is very friendly and its just a fun place to get work done. My tattoos look like paintings on my arms. I get so many compliments on my pieces. I finally decided to get my very first tattoo back in February. I set up a consult with Arnie as I had many questions and was very nervous as I am a person who deals with anxiety. Arnie made me feel very comfortable, answered all of my questions and I loved the designs he had drawn. I went ahead set up my appointment and I am SO HAPPY with the decision I made. Arnie truly does great work. His lines are amazing, they are like a laser, very neat and precise. Just awesome! He listened to what I wanted and made a custom design tailored to me.I just got my 2nd tattoo by Branden and I am truly AMAZED!! He really took the time to capture what I wanted. He is full of ideas and gives you an honest answer. I wasnt as nervous this time but Branden really made sure that I was relaxed and comfortable. I can truly say that I had a great session and I will NOT go anywhere else for my tattoos. Branden did a custom piece and I literally have people trying to touch my leg asking me if its real because it truly is amazing and have gotten many compliments on it. I myself am so in love with it that I just keep looking at it and smiling. I already cant wait for my my next tattoo. I was visiting from NC, and decided to get a tattoo while I was in town. They said that the only opening was with their apprentice. At first I was skeptical, but after talking to Arnie and seeing his work, my mind was put to ease. Their facilities are well kept, and Arnies professionalism is better than most pros Ive dealt with. I am very happy with my tattoo and experience at One life. I will definitely go back if Im ever in town again.

I have three tattoos from Branden, two smaller and just started a 3/4 sleeve. All custom work. He is a great artist!! I reached out to Branden about two weeks ago and had no idea how to describe what I wanted in the right setting. he took what I said and made it more surreal than I had even imagined not only is his work out of this world amazing! but his professional manner is grade A. I swear by this shop you will not be disappointed! He walked me through every step he made and made great conversation. I asked him about touching up a peice of outline on my previous tattoo and not only did he fix it he amplified my original tattoo x100 free of cost. This will forever be my go to shop I am beyond happy with the art I received today!

I had the most amazing experience here today! Earlier today I messaged them on Facebook asking when their soonest appointment would be for a memorial tattoo of my cat who my partner and I had to recently put down. It was a small piece but means so much to me! He texted me back saying I could come in today at 5:30! He stayed later than his scheduled appointments to do this beautiful thing for me. He captured it absolutely perfectly and he was so awesome! We talked a lot about me and my partner pets and about his past pitbull and just a bit of random stuff! It was so fun! His shop is so beautiful and has so much fun stuff to look at! I highly highly recommend one life! Beautiful work and amazing owner/staff! Thank you again so much Branden! Branden showed me how the machines work (yep i am a geek) and explained the process and i had my first one last June. I enjoyed it so much that I went in a week ago and had the first of two sittings and now have one that covers my upper arm. Gave him inspiration pics and he customized it for me. Branden and Arnie are excellent artists and men.

Branden went above and beyond with my tattoo. It was just a few autographs nothing complex but did everything he could to make them look exact and they do. He also has a very soft hand for tattooing and is very thorough in his work. If youre a 1st timer I would highly recommend branden. An awesome artist and a very nice guy

My friend and I both had excellent experiences here at One Life with Arnie and Branden! They both took their time and created the tattoos we were looking for. I was really impressed when Arnie looked back over at my tattoo after he was finished to check to make sure they’re weren’t any gaps or openings. When something is so permanent and special it means so much to have someone who cares about their work. I will be going back!

One life is the only tattoo shop i will go to. I got my first one eight years ago from branden and i love it. Turned out better then expected just like the next two from him. Its more then just a regular tattoo shop. I felt such a great presence the first time i walked through that door. I checked out about five other places before going to one life and i knew right away that if you want quality tattoos this is the place to go.

One life is not a club house or a hang out for miss fits. Its a clean, organized professionally ran tattoo shop. You are well taken care of right away anytime you go through the doors. You will not find anyone in the shop with a chip on their shoulder or negativity towards you or your ideas. Branden is more versatile in his art, along with personal tastes and interests than any other tattoo artists Ive known. It really doesnt matter what you bring to him you can tell in his expressions hes immediately excited and involved. The shop is decorated nicely and the atmosphere is so down to earth and calming. Bambi is hands-down the greatest professional piercer out there. In a situation that can otherwise feel nerve-racking, he made me feel right at ease. Got my rook pierced today and it was hands down the best piercing experience Ive had! Bambi is training an apprentice, Kaitlin, so she did my piercing and it was awesome! I have over 35 hours of tattoos on my back arm, chest and side, From 4 different shops located in Central MN. Branden @ One Life has just recently finished up my 20th hour of my biomec/tribal half sleeve and chest plate. Branden is hands down the best artist I have ever had the privilege of being tattooed by. His unique, out of the box ideas he has come up with to incorporate my ideas, along with his Artistic abilitys and translate them into a far better tattoo then I have ever imagined is his natural gift. We started with a small drawing on my arm which has now exploded into a beautiful half sleeve and chest plate. (mostly free hand) Branden will be doing all of my tattoos from now on. I am very happy that I finally found the person that will do all my tattoos. Ive gotten tattoos from both Arnie and Brandon, and theyre both super cool guys and do an awesome job.

From the moment I was on the phone with Bambi making the appointment to walking out the door with our new piercings we had an exceptional experience at One Life/Wingnut piercing. Cleanliness and quality were clearly a very high priority for Bambi. My nine year old daughter had made the decision 6 months ago that she wanted her ears pierced and even stopped biting her nails in order to get the privilege to do so. However, she was extremely nervous about the process and he walked her through it in a way that made her comfortable and confident. His gentle and patient way of helping her through the process is what sets him apart. I had second holes put in my lobes and it was extremely easy and smooth compared to the piercing gun that was used on my first hole as a child. I will be returning for any future piercing needs.It is worth mentioning that he even pierced Sir Huggables ear (my daughters stuffed bear) if she could show him how to be brave!!Thanks again Bambi!

Not pleased with this place....I understand that when someone walks into a tattoo place you have to wait for someone to have time to talk to you but when you are waiting for over 30 mins and not one person will even greet you and say we will be right with you, well you unfortunately lost my business.
