Tyler is amazing! He is kind, efficient, thorough, and thoughtful in his piercing practice. His business is beautiful and clean, and he obviously cares about his clients and his business practices very much. I had 3rd set of earlobe piercings done and swapped two cartilage post lengths for shorter lengths. I had a terrific experience!

I have got tats from Josh and recently a nose piercing from Tyler. They are both very nice and down to earth guys. They are respectful, listen to you and make sure you are comfortable with everything being done.

I got this cartilage piercing done at Red at Night and it was a great experience. Initially I was nervous to get it pierced since I know that it is a difficult piercing for some people, but this was the perfect place to get it done. The studio has a very calm atmosphere and is not intimidating. I liked how everything looked very clean and sterilized without looking like a scary doctor’s office. He gave me very good information before and after my ear was pierced and the entire process was smooth and efficient. I also really love the selection of jewelry that is offered because they are all safe to be pierced with and there are options for any price range. This is the only place that my sister and my partner go to get pierced and after this experience I will definitely be back for more. 10/10 would do again.

Tyler did an incredible job on my medusa piercing. He was very kind and professional, the jewelry selection was amazing, and the whole piercing process was well explained which really eased my nerves. The shop is beautiful. Tyler is an absolute professional. I went in with my niece to get her first set of ears pierced. Tyler was very good at making her feel super comfortable and did a great job. He even called a few days later to make sure the healing was going well. Best place ever to get piercings done. The store was spotless, and I was impressed with the level of care that was used to make sure everything was sanitized. Cant say enough good things!

My Daughter got her ears pierced here she was so nervous and had so many problems with previous piercings attempted else where we had to let them close every time due to infections and what have you. She enjoyed the experience and The place was clean and the experience was very personable she felt very comfortable and was treated very good. Will be using them for my other daughters belly button piercing soon.

Awesome! I got exactly what I wanted! 😁 What I liked the most was the variety of jewelry you had to choose from AND the different stud sizes! For me I would wait for my piercing to heal then go buy the correct stud size I wanted but you have like a lot of different sizes! And you are a very pleasant person. It was nice to meet you!

I got my navel done earlier today and enjoyed the whole experience. Tyler’s calm demeanor and casual, yet professional way of handling my session calmed my own nerves. He explained everything very thoroughly and answered my and my partners questions with a mutual respect that we really appreciated. Plus my piercing came out perfect!! I got a tragus piercing with Tyler and it was an excellent experience. Everything was super clean and the process was really fast. He did a great job at making me feel comfortable (I was nervous) and explaining everything he was doing. Plus he kept complimenting my ear which really put me at ease!

I brought my 15 year old daughter here for a nose piercing. Tyler is seriously so nice! She was nervous and he was nothing but patient and explained everything to her. The shop is super clean and very modern. We both thought it smelled good and were impressed with the decor. Its so different inside than the outside, it was like stepping into another world almost. Appointments are made online though Tyler did reach out through text and he returned a phone call before the appointment. My daughter really wanted me to leave a good review because Tyler was just so friendly. The placement of her piercing is perfect and it was all very quick. We would most definitely go back again in the future.

Tyler and his parlor exceeded every expectation (very clean, he used gloves + sterilization, top of the line USA-made heirloom jewelry). My six year old daughter was determined to get her ears pierced and I was determined to do it at a piercing shop. Tyler was calm and informative with us, and he kept her in charge of her appointment. He graciously gave us space and the time we needed to collect our emotions and bolster her bravery back up between piercings. I know Tyler made it possible for my daughter to have the best experience I could have hoped for her. He sent us home with an aftercare bag, instructions and all the info, and sterile saline. My ears are healing fantastically and there has been no reaction to the earrings as its the same material that is used in pace makers! Love red at night! Tyler is the best hole puncher around 😁 He did my pair of upper nostrils above an existing pair of nostrils. He nailed it and Im in love ❤️ He also made me feel comfortable while taking core samples my my nips. Highly recommend!

Best experience I’ve ever had with piercings and wouldn’t go anywhere else- Tyler is extremely nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. The process was quick, he was very diligent with sanitation, and the earring selection is top of the line (and has a lifetime warranty), which is amazing especially since I have very sensitive skin. I have been here twice in the last year and both times have been absolutely amazing. In August, Tyler pierced both sides of my nostrils and helped keep me calm through the process and answered every question I had about the process and healing. Even almost 6 months later the placement is still perfect and extremely even for doing both sides at once. He helped me choose jewelry and go smaller than i originally intended which ended up being the perfect size. I then went to Josh in November for my first tattoo to symbolize my Grandfather’s death and he nailed the concept i was going for right away. Will definitely be going back to Josh for my next project. Extremely clean and professional compared to other places I have been. I recommend everyone I know here as i’ve only had and heard positive feedback from here. Highly recommend 🤍

I got two piercings here today, they turned out amazing and I had a great time there. Tyler is really nice and welcoming and made my appointment go the best it could.

I originally had a piercing appointment with Tyler a month ago and had to reschedule the day of the appointment. Tyler was very understanding and easy to work with. On Saturday I went in for my appointment and even though I was nervous, Tyler was calm and reassuring. He didn’t rush me and told me to take my time. He was polite and respectful. He walked me through the entire appointment and wasn’t upset when I asked for some time to get my nerves under control. Everything was clean and the atmosphere was relaxing. I was very impressed with my entire experience. I will definitely be going to Tyler in the future for any of the other piercings that I want. Fantastic customer service!! Thank you again!

I cannot speak highly enough about this place and Tyler!! I have multiple piercings and I went into to get a double nostril piercing and he was so polite, and had a great sense of humor which made the process so much better, definitely the best piercing studio I have ever been to and I will definitely book with him again! Had an amazing time getting piercings done here. The guy who did my daith was so friendly and knowledgeable. I got my piercing because of migraines and he knew exactly where to place the piercing to coincide with the acupuncture. I got my piercing over 5 years ago and have only had enough migraines to count on one hand. Would highly recommend this route if you suffer from chronic migraines. It was the most painless alternative Ive ever found, and also the longest lasting as Ive never needed to replace the jewelery I bought with them. 10/10 piercing place.

I have been wanting to get a special tattoo reflecting my running journey for a couple years now. I had somewhat of an idea but am by no means very artistic. I sought out the find an amazing artist to put my idea to life. With a couple mutual friends I found Josh Jay at red at night! Best decision I could have made!! I submitted him my simple sketch some other pictures and explained my idea. He said he would come up with a great design and to schedule my appointment.I scheduled my appointment and when I got to the studio was shocked at the amazing tattoo he had drawn up for me with some extra ideas of his own!! He truly made my vision come to life!! He added so much amazing details, incorporated all the things that were special to me and more!! I was happy that I let him just run with this and let his artistic abilities shine!!!Josh also was amazing in the fact that the tattoo took way longer than originally anticipated but he was so excited and wanted the details to be intricate and perfect! He spent the extra time and was not concerned with it. He continued to take his time and truly capture all the details and shading! Truly an amazing artist and person! I’ve only been to this place for piercings, so far! I’ve been going to Red at Night for a few years now, getting a piercing here and there and also taking my friends there to get theirs done! Tyler, who does the piercings, has honestly been the best piercer I’ve been to, trust me I’ve had my fair share of piercers around the Baxter/Brainerd area. He knows how to make you feel comfortable and safe during your time there. But most importantly, the cleanliness of their shop is amazing. I’ve never gotten an infection, neither have my friends, and if I have/they have, it was their own fault, not Tyler’s. (Changing the jewelry earlier than recommended). Their shop in general is always very clean and organized. Overall, I will always have Red at Night as my top recommendation.

My 8 year old daughter decided she wanted earrings so we booked an appointment here. She was a little nervous but the piercer was extremely kind and helpful. I was greeted by Noelle as soon as I walked in the door. She made sure to find out what I needed right away. Didnt make make me feel ignored or like I was less important because I wasnt in her chair. I say that because she was doing someones ink at the time I walked in. She just let me know to relax and Tyler would be with me shortly. I was there for a new piece of jewelry to replace in my lip piercing I lost in a car accident I had been in. I needed some expertise though. I have some thicker lips and need a longer post so I cant just go buy jewelery for my piercing from just any department store. Tyler helped me pick something out that have me just the right amount of wiggle room for my lips, made me feel comfortable and was also sympathetic and empathetic in regards to my car accident and relating to some of the personal details. I may have been there just to purchase a new piece of jewelry and get it put in but Tyler still made it an excellent experience and Im grateful. Anytime I can be in tattoo and piercing studio I am truly in my element. I thank you Tyler and Red at Night Tattoos. Hope to come back soon maybe for some ink next time. 😎

I went here last night for a navel piercing and it was by far the best piercing/tattoo parlor I have ever been to. I was pierced by Tyler Hamline and he was super funny and made me way less nervous about it. He spent a lot of time making sure the piercing went straight and when it came time to the stabbing part he made it quick. If I ever decide I want another piercing Ill be coming back to Tyler.

I had Tyler redo one of my lobes. I didnt think it would be a big deal. He took more time being sure the one he redid was even with the other than it took to do the piercing and installation. He did allow me to bring my own jewelry but would not let me use it until he autoclaved it first. I was so impressed with the care he put into his work and into me as a client. Incredibly professional.

Red at night is honestly the best tattoo and piercing studio in the brainerd lakes area. The whole studio is decorated so beautifully and its just a welcoming vibe as soon as you walk through the door. The owners/employees are so nice and greet you as soon as you walk in so you dont have to wait around forever and feel awkward just standing there like most other places you go into. I have had work done by both Tyler and Mike! Tyler has pierced my lip and my triple helix on my ear! And each time he was very thorough and very helpful when it came to questions. My ears got infected because I was horrible at taking care of them afterwards and Tyler was very good about answering questions on how to get it to heal. And his advice worked and I was able to keep all three of my piercings! His jewelry selection is only high quality jewelry! And everything is so beautiful! He really puts a lot of time and effort into his orders and makes sure there is something for every one. And I love the fact that he was very sanitary when he did my piercings! Ive been to other studios where I wouldnt be able to say the same!I also got my first tattoo from Mike and I was so happy with the end result! I was very nervous about how much it would hurt but Mike was so easy going and made me feel comfortable and even joked around to make me less nervous! And after my tattoo was done he was very thorough about after care instructions so that I could properly care for my tattoo! I will definitely be getting more tattoos from Mike in the future! Everything Tyler used was extremely sterile. He even gives you the pen he marks you with and the sterilization test on all of his equipment! Not only that, he is extremely nice which makes the process of getting a piercing that much easier! Also, the jewellery there is top notch, high quality jewellery.

This was my first piercing and Tyler was very helpful with any questions I had and he talked me through the entire process. Hes very professional easy to talk too. I highly recommend Red at Night!

This place was great. The piercing itself hurt very little and there is a good selection of jewelry. He offers the aftercare spray to buy in shop, hassle free. The piercing room is beautiful,comfortable, and private. You can even schedule an appointment online. It was a great experience and I definitely would recommend Red at Night. I came in last week to check the place out and see if I would be interested in getting a piercing here, and I was so (pleasantly) surprised to find that Red at Night is such an excellent shop.The staff are all friendly, helpful, and patient, which made me feel very comfortable that nobody was rushing me to decide if I wanted work done there. The shop is not only clean but very nicely decorated (especially the piercing room!), and the displays up front show off their beautiful, high quality jewelry (Anatometal & Neometal, to name a couple brands that I remember off-hand).Some basics that I look for in a piercer are that they carry implant grade jewelry, as well as that they follow current sterilization & aftercare standards. You can generally find those things when a piercer is a member of the APP, so thats an easy credential to search for that increases the chances of them taking good care of you. Tyler is an APP member, which to me, is a sign that he cares a lot about giving the best experience from beginning to end for all his clients.So, I decided to come back the next day, aiming for a conch piercing. Tyler was awesome from beginning to end—fitting me into his schedule, working with me on my jewelry options, walking me through jewelry/equipment sterilization, telling me what would happen with the piercing itself before anything happened, and all about aftercare. Id absolutely come back the next time Im in the area, whether just for jewelry or another piercing!(Important note: its been a few days since the piercing itself, and I can tell already how on-point Tylers technique is just from the way it feels, because its barely even sore. Ive had bad experiences elsewhere with sub-par piercers, and you can always tell when something isnt right by how its healing. Of course everyones anatomy & healing is different, and of course piercings will hurt to a degree, but this is how a piercing should feel when its very well done. I am very pleased with how everything is looking & feeling!)**********TL;DR: Red at Night is an excellent shop, and Tyler Hamline is a phenomenal piercer, from start to finish. I am very excited to have had this experience, and to come again in the future.

I will only let Tyler do my piercings. Every time I have come in for a piercing he educates me on the piercing process and answers all of my questions and admits when he doesnt know the exact answer. Which is huge. I will keep coming to this business specifically for Tyler

I got my daith pierced at red at night yesterday and I’ve never been more happy with any of the piercings I’ve had done. Most of my piercings are swollen, painful, etc. the day after I’ve had them done but this one has been no problem. Tyler H. was helpful during the whole process and I’d definitely recommend him and red at night for anyone who wants a piercing.

This shop doesnt answer the phone. I had to book an appointment on line. I waited 2 weeks to see if theyd accept or decline and i had to reach out and ask if I was able.. was told I needed to come in so he could look at my ear. I told him when I would be able to and when I got there the door was locked. I tried calling and I messaged him.. i had to call on fb messenger.. he wasnt there and I had to wait. Along with another woman that I assume was there for an appointment. This man DOES NOT CARE.

Tyler has done all 5 of my piercings, I continue to go back to him because he is incredibly professional and cares about his customers. I wouldnt (and dont) trust anyone else to poke holes in my body, hands down the best in the area.

He did a good job of piercing my ears, but my $40 ear piercing ended up being $149! I knew the cost of the earring I picked was $45, but he never told me until I was done that didnt include the post, that was another $30. Im not saying dont go there, but be aware of the cost

Oh my goodness, if you want literally the sweetest person to help you through your time there, then go to tyler. i tried to pick out a bigger stud then i should’ve gotten and he told me to get a size smaller, so i did and her was totally right. he’s very professional, the place is so very clean. i loved every minute i was there :)

Several months ago, I had my ears repierced in a different spot because one earlobe had a partial tear.Terrific job with great care for sterility and the after piercing wound care advice (saline spray etc) is state of the art best practices.
