Just wanted to share that I was having a rough day and Jennifer was able to sneak me in today for just a piercing change with Brian, this was my first time here and it was such a great experience. Jennifer was really kind on the phone and with helping me pick out a new nose ring. Brian was knowledgeable and helpful when explaining why I was having trouble putting in my previous corkscrew nose ring. And when I left I got a piece of candy!! Will definitely be going back :)

This place is absolutely wonderful! Brian is extremely professional, kind and knowledgeable. He knows how to pierce with the least amount of pain and makes your feel comfortable. Jen is also a great addition because she is funny, kind and very helpful, polite and wonderful. I had my ear lobes and cartilage pierced and it went great. Thank you so much!

I had just moved down here and have been looking for a reliable piercing place, luckily enough I stumbled upon this place and I couldn’t be more happier with my decision on booking an appointment here. I got my daith done, which surprisingly didn’t hurt as much as I thought, and let me tell you the staff is wonderful. Jennifer greated me as I walked in and was very warm, gave me great recommendations of things to do in the area and the piercer brain himself did an excellent job going through the process and explaining after care. Overall 10/10 experience and can’t wait to go back!! :)

This place is absolutely amazing! Brian is extremely professional and knowledgeable. Jen, who answers phone and works at the counter, is very helpful, polite and wonderful. I just had my belly button pierced and it went so smoothly. They really keep their place, tools and everything sanitized and clean. Brian explained the procedure along with after care instructions. He handled everything with care and patience. This is undoubtedly the best place to get piercings done! They truly know what they’re doing. Extremely satisfied and happy with their work. This place is the perfect business model! The young lady at the counter is one of the most efficient, professional and extremely likable receptionist/assistant/manager I’ve ever seen. I have been here several times since I moved here two years ago, and I have never encountered any sort of problem or negativity not once! The gentleman who does the piercings is very likable he knows exactly what he’s doing. He is caring and he makes everyone feel comfortable and he explains everything about the procedure including aftercare. Please do not hesitate to try this place! I’ve had my ears pierced since I was 12 years old and now I’m in my 60s I would never trust anyone other than Derek to pierce my ears /or…and apparently he’s extremely proficient at any other kind of piercing you may want or need. Definitely give Exotics a chance and you will completely agree with me! Good luck! Just make the call and go…it’s never too late to do something you’ve always wanted to do or just do it at the spur of the moment… just go!! if you want to pierce your ear or nose or whatever call Exotics!

Brian is absolutely amazing!! I recently went to have my tongue pierced and he was very professional, told me everything that was going to happen, what to expect and if I had any questions. The piercing went smoothly and he said to come back in 1-2 weeks for a check and to have the barbell changed. My piercing healed perfectly, thank you!!! I will be back for more!

I got my nose ring, and second lobes done here, i absolutely love it the experience is great! They dont use piercing guns and allow someone in the room with you. Brian and Jenn are the nicest and really make sure you take care of your piercing. They answer any questions and sell the cutest jewelry.I got my newest piercing done, a septum, and everything. was still great months later (:

Such a pleasant visit/experience getting my nose pierced! Walked in to make an appointment and was greeted by a young lady who was very professional and friendly. She explained the procedure as well as the price. Very clean and neat ambiance! She was able to get me an appointment on the same day 😀 the guy who did the piercing was also very professional and knowledgeable . He also explained the procedure. Displayed the tools that he was going to use, were all packed and sanitized - made me feel comfortable. He also explained the after care in a simple and straightforward way. I came in to get my septum re-pierced & he did such a WONDERFUL job! I mean he was so smooth !!!! I didn’t even feel it! lol I recommend Exotix to everyone! This place is so clean, the lovely woman making the appointments is just so sweet and so patient. Everyone working here is just so incredibly nice! This is the best piercing studio around! Got my nose and belly button done in the past by Brian and had fantastic experiences both times! He is very quick but thorough. A few months ago my cousin and I made the stupid mistake of going to a different piercer for our conches. They pierced us with the incorrect jewelry which made the healing process difficult. We went to Brian for a jewelry change and he fixed us right up! During this appointment I also got a helix piercing, very minimal pain, literally took 10 seconds. All piercing equipment used were sealed in sterilized plastic bags and gloves were changed when needed. As for the atmosphere of the studio… AMAZING! I am always warmly greeted by Jen who is eager to help me with and questions/recommendations regarding jewelry. She is the sweetest! I will be going to Brian and Jen for all of my future piercings!

My daughter & I had the best piercing experience ever at Exotix. Brian is very professional & kind. He is the only piercer in the studio with 28 years of expertise behind him! He explained everything to us so clearly about the piercing experience & what to expect afterwards. I wish I had gone to see Brian for my first piercing. At least I got my next piercings here. Jennifer & Brian were absolutely awesome... Personable, funny & professional. Awesome customer service and the piercing was perfectly placed. It was for my 15 year old first time piercing. Super hygiene and amazing and knowledgeable staff!

Very professional and clean, no unsanitary piercing gun just properly sharpened surgical grade instruments and a guy who knows what hes doing. Theyre straightforward, friendly, and honest, theyll tell you the truth, not just what you want to hear. I wouldve liked to hear that I can use the black jewelry right off the bat for a new piercing but no can do, and I appreciate them being honest instead of telling me what I want to hear. Years ago when I was pierced here they were using hoops but now its a stud because it heals better and causes less issues so I appreciate that they change their methods as new information comes out, it really reinforces my confidence in them. Definitely recommend to anyone of any age getting pierced.

I highly recommend the Exotix Body Piercing Studio. Jen was very welcoming upon arrival. Furthermore, Brian made my piercing experience very pleasant. The studio was exceptionally clean and Brian opened all of the equipment in front of me. He was kind, patient, and informative - walking me through each step of the process including the aftercare instructions. My piercing was quick and painless, and even came with candy at the end! I certainly plan on returning again in the future.

This place is absolutely amazing and I recommend it to everyone I know! I have had a helix piercing, conch piercing, 2nd lobe piercings, and 3rd lobe piercings there; and I am planing my next ones to have done there. Everything is very clean and comfortable, and any anxiety I have before the piercings is immediately eased. They take their time to explain the piercing and the process, which I really appreciate. After my conch I felt a little sick, and Brian took the time to make sure I felt better before I got up. This is the only place I will go to for piercings!

Ive gotten several piercings here and love Brian and Jen! The place is immaculate, everything is in new, unopened, sterile packaging. I was nervous about having my nipples pierced, but Brian made the entire process comfortable, and I left feeling more confident in my own skin than I have in years. Id give them ten stars if I could! I went with my grandchild to get our ears pierced. Brian was so professional and amazing and very precise. Everything was sterilized and clean. he gave very good instructions how to take care of the piercings. I highly recommend this this shop!

It’s been a few years since I pierced my ears and I found out about Exotix through reviews online and social media. I was very impressed from the moment I walked in. I was immediately greeted by Jen, who gave me the paperwork to fill out and Brian was ready for me. Brian is awesome! Started taking measurements of my ear to make sure the piercing I wanted can properly be done to avoid any issues with wearing or healing in the future. I learned that one ear is slightly different from the other based on the curve of the cartilage. I learned so much just from speaking with Brian. Brian shared his years of experience and I must say, I was not surprised based on how he handled the piercing and the way he showed lots of care and explained in detail what he was doing from the moment of taking a new needle out of the package to thoroughly cleaning the ear to sharing the process step by step. Brian went over all cleaning procedures with me and even prepared me on what to do if I begin to feel soar pain in the next few days. Brian is caring, hilarious, knowledgeable, personable, and brilliant in what he does. Brian and Jen both went over the cleaning process and explained how to keep a schedule when to clean and what to use. Jen is a sweetheart and was excited to answer any questions I had and made sure I’m comfortable to call the shop or message her with any concerns I may have. My favorite piercing studio! I’ll never go anywhere else. Brian’s extremely thorough with explaining what he’s doing, how he’s gonna pierce it and how’ll you’ll feel when he does. He also describes how to clean the piercing afterwards and is totally up front with if your anatomy isn’t right for a certain piercing. I trust him with all my future piercings (all of mine done by him have healed with no problems).

From start to finish Jen and Brian are extreme professionals who you can tell have been doing this a LONG time. Brian has better bedside manners then my physician!! I had to re-schedule a few times and Jen was so understanding, I finally got my nose pierced at 47. The shop is very clean, well maintained and I had no worries of leaving my daughters in the waiting room. Brian took his time in explaining everything in detail and gave me a nice cold water bottle to boot. You’re sea salt aftercare is very helpful to me as well as the antibacterial soap. I had a wonderful experience purchasing jewelry from Exotix! Jennifer went out of her way to educate me and provided a variety to choose from. A year ago I got my forward helix done by them, the place was extremely clean. The piercer wasn’t going to do anything just for a buck! He told me my ear wasn’t right for the one piercing I wanted (most places would do it and no care) but he actually knew what he was talking about. They were amazing and I highly recommend them to anyone! If you want a clean piercing done safely and correct - go here!! Also the woman at the counter was so cool I enjoyed speaking with her. I’m planning on making an appointment for next week! Definitely worth the ride from lacey!!

Today I went in to the shop for a nose piercing. I was really nervous, because I had never had a piercing done before, other than my ears. However, as soon as I walked in, Jennifer made me feel so welcome and at ease! She was super friendly and walked me through everything! When I met Brian, he was also super nice and comforting. He made sure that I knew everything that would happen, and that I was comfortable. On top of that, he took the time to explain the cleaning process to me. This was such an amazing experience and I could not recommend this shop more! I also want to say that the shop is super clean, and they are taking all of the necessary precautions!

I came here for my first piercing. I got my septum pierced. When I first finally decided to get a piercing I did a deep internet search on where I should go in my area and when I read the reviews for Exotix I was blown away by how many people loved their experience I knew I had to go their. I had HIGH expectations and they DID NOT disappoint. Not only where they super professional they were also super nice. They really tried to make me feel comfortable in my short time there. The piercer not only opened up everything right in front of me so I knew it was completely sterile but he also talked me through it . When I started tearing up (not from it hurting it was basically painless but from just from the bodies natural reaction or something) they gave me a tissue. They made sure I knew exactly how to clean it which was very important because Im a diabetic and the healing process is going to be longer for me. Overall it was an amazing experience and not to mention very affordable. I swear Im recommending to every friend that wants a piercing! Thank you so much!

Visited with my daughter while she got her septum re-pierced. Brian is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He explained everything he was doing and helped calm her jittery nerves! The front desk is a wonderful women, and the piercer is great at his job. They both make the process sooo easy and a great experience even if your nervous. Even especially then. I would 10/10 recommend and already have been! Can’t praise them enough.

I went in to get my lip pierced and the entire shop was so clean and welcoming. It had a great energy. Both Jen and Brian are phenomenal. The process was so laid back and relaxing, while still having a sense of professionalism. Ive felt extremely uncomfortable at other piercing studios Ive been to (i have 17 other piercings) and this was not at all the case at Exotix. I can’t say enough about Exotix! Jen and Brian are two of the nicest people you will ever meet and they make the experience great every time! They are both committed to excellence and professionalism, always making sure your well being and happiness come first. They are patient, knowledgeable, generous, and care more about doing the right thing than the sale. That being said, I have had five piercings there in the past year and brought my family and friends for theirs. The location itself is open, immaculate, and inviting. Brian and Jen are amazing. Warm and welcoming every time. I have been in doctors offices that werent as clean as this shop. I wouldnt even consider getting pierced anywhere else. Came here for a cartilage piercing! After booking I received a reminder confirmation text and follow up call the day before my appointment. Super personalized and great. SO welcoming and SO clean from the moment I opened the front door. The sign in process was super professional and signed all documents quickly. No wait at all for the piercing. I went with a friend and we both felt so so comfortable with the front desk person and the piercer. He was so knowledgeable about piercings and really knows how to make you feel comfortable through the whole process. Room was sanitized as we walked in and all piercing materials were sterile and unopened until right before the piercing took place. He walked us through the process of what was going to happen during the piercing and it was seamless as it happened. The healing and post piercing care was very thoroughly explained and they offered check ups for a month after to make sure everything is healing properly. I would suggest this piercing studio to anyone. The prices are listed clearly, it’s so clean, so welcoming, they supply post piercing care and instructions for you and are so so kind. 100/10 experience! Thank you Exotix!

Brian owns one of the best piercing studios in Ocean County! Very precise, very polite, and very professional. Jen takes care of sales in the front. She treats everyone like family and creates a calm and friendly atmosphere. The studio is always clean and is always up to date with state standards as well as covid mandates.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Exotix! I went in to get my tragus earrings changed and Jennifer (forgive me for putting the wrong name) was so kind showing me my options and giving me an honest opinion! Then getting them changed Brian was truly amazing. They were so stuck in my ears he had to use special tools to unscrew them and he was so gentle and talked me thru the entire process! I will be scheduling my next piercing there ASAP! The shop is SUPER CLEAN and sanitized! And again staff is extremely nice and super professional but also know how to make you feel comfortable! This shop is super awesome! I have always gotten piercings done at a tattoo shop and wow this is night and day. Super clean, everything is sterilized, COVID precautions in place. Jennifer is kind and accommodating and deserves so much recognition for how she manages the front of the store. Brian rocks! He took the time to change the jewelry on my rook and tragus piercings before piercing my forward helix. I’ve always liked my piercings but they looked awkward with the jewelry I had and Brian changed that, I now LOVE my piercings! Brian doesn’t cause unnecessary pain, quick and easy with the needle. He answers all of your questions, provides thorough aftercare information, and great conversation. He is very knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable and excited instead of scared and doesn’t rush you or your experience. Brian and Jennifer care about their customers and their craft and it truly shows. I wish that I started my piercing journey here, and if you’re looking for a place, this should be it!! Jen and Brian are absolutely the best! I went there first at the end of April to get the third hole in my ear lobes, and I went on Friday to get my nose pierced. I had to go back in on kind of an emergency today to get the stud on my nose changed because it kept getting caught, and almost came all the way out at one point. That was no ones fault but my own; I chose a stone rather than a ball, even though the voice in the back of my head told me to get the ball because the prongs on the stone would get caught. I called Jen at 2p and she was able to get me in at 3p. She is extremely accommodating and friendly. Brian has about thirty years of piercing experience, and it shows! He is gentle and soft spoken. They are a great pair, and I recommend Exotix to everyone that mentions they want a piercing.

I have been recommending Exotics to everyone since before I can remember because I always heard such amazing things about Brian and Jen! Now that I finally got to meet them both, I will continue to recommend them to everybody! Jen is so sweet and kind and the best person to work with when you have questions and scheduling an appointment. Brian and Jen are awesome. I will never go anywhere else or recommend anywhere else for piercings. I had a second hole placement botched as a teenager, and then attempted to get it fixed-both times at a mall. Unfortunately, Brian can’t fix it because the bad holes are too close to each other. However, he was upfront about it, and said he wouldn’t do it because it wouldn’t work, or be right. I have had 2 other piercings done with him, both times he was super friendly and efficient. The shop is VERY clean, and Jen is super friendly and helpful as well.

Had the best piercing experience ever here. Got my nose repierced. Of course it hurt when I got it done but I was fine about an hour later. Last time it hurt for a week+. Jen and Brian are friendly, professional, and amazing! They gave clear care instructions, soap and Himalayan salt so there is no confusion in care. Free care support, been back once to have an adjustment done. Highly recommend going here and no where else if you want any piercing done. Just saying...

Today I went there to get my septum pierced, unfortunately Brian advised me to not get the piercing because it would look crooked and it wouldn’t be what I wanted. I appreciate how professional he was and how he explained everything. Other places would have just pierced it and took my money then I’d be the one stuck with a septum that looked crooked. I already recommend Exotix to everyone and will definitely continue!

They are the absolute nicest people Ive ever met in my life, I went to go get my first ever piercing since being a baby today. The lady at the front desk was extremely nice and talked to me as I was waiting. We had a nice conversation. And the man who pierced my nose was extremely nice and calming, I was very very nervous and thought it would hurt so bad and he calmed me down and told me it would be nothing, he went over exactly what he was taking out, and showing me how everything was sterilized in bags before proceeding to open them for my piercing. The lady at the front desk was extremely nice and talked to me as I was waiting. We had a nice conversation. And the man who pierced my nose was extremely nice and calming, I was very very nervous and thought it would hurt so bad and he calmed me down and told me it would be nothing, he went over exactly what he was taking out, and showing me how everything was sterilized in bags before proceeding to open them for my piercing. he instructed me very well on aftercare for my piercing, and his voice was so soothing that I will be going back for every other piercing I get, no lie. The place was nice and clean, and they have amazing COVID-19 Precautions and procedures. I will be going back in 3 to 4 weeks for a check up, as well as getting the other side of my nose pierced. I cannot emphasize enough how great my experience was thank you guys!

I went there today with my cousin for a piercing. And Jen and Brian were so nice!!!! They made you feel so comfortable and relaxed. They gave me a bottle of water and at the end I got a lollipop! Brian is amazing!!!If you want piercing done perfectly, 100% this is the right place.I got my ear lobes pierced at a tattoo shop in Pennsylvania and the person didn’t align the holes properly.I went to this place to get it re-pierced after my friend recommended it to me.Brian did an awesome job. The piercing went very clean and fast. The holes are now aligned, one less thing to stress about lol.The lady at the front (Jenny I believe?) is really nice. I don’t feel rushed or anxious.And even better, the pain/throbbing went completely away before 30 minutes. Compared to the place I got it done before, I was in pain & bled a lot for 3 days.I don’t handle pain very well, but with Brian’s skill, I wouldn’t even mind getting the belly button done.

I went with my girlfriend to get piercings done and let me just say this has been the best piercing experience Ive had to date. Jen and Brian are both super professional. Jen made sure we knew all of our options and the healing times. Everything was very easy to understand and made the decisions stress free. Brian is a phenomenal piercer. Super personable and knows his trade like he was born with the skills. Originally, my girlfriend thought her ears were completely closed over, but Brian easily reopened them. Im pretty sure my girlfriend didnt know it was actually happening until it was over. And when it came to my nipple piercings, it was an easy process. He made me completely relaxed throughout and made sure I was ok after. Amazing people.

Her Husband was the most gentle and sweetest man, and he has a hidden stash of sweets if youre a good patron so best be on your best behavior. I learned alot in my short time there. I’ve been to them two separate occasions and each time it’s been a great experience. Both of them are so nice and understanding plus it’s always clean when I go in. I’ve never had any issues with my piercings or the jewelry so I know it was done correctly/safely. I got my septum pierced here and I will never go anywhere else, no matter what I decide to get pierced next. The woman at the front desk is the nicest person, so sweet, and mademe feel so comfortable, welcomed, and excited.Brian (the piercer) not only made me feel safe and taken care of, but shared some information abt making sure wherever you get pierced, they open new tools and needles and that they sterilize them in front of you. He also made sure to ask if I needed the hoop widened to hide the piercing. Gave super clear and thorough instructions on how to take care of it and made the actual piercing process as painless as possible. He walked me through each step of what he was doing and explained everything. They gave me a lollipop and advised that I come back within the next month to make sure it’s healing properly :) will never go anywhere else again!

This was my first time here. The minute I walked in, I was warmly greeted by Jennifer. She helped me in choosing the right-sized jewelry for my already pierced nose and monroe piercing that I wanted to change. She also helped me with choosing my cartilage jewelry. She was patient, warm and friendly. Brian, the piercer, is amazing! He explained everything, was professional and gentle.....I hardly felt anything. The place is extremely clean! I cant wait until 8 weeks when Im fully healed so I can change out my jewelry and get another piercing! I highly recommend Exotix!❤❤

The staff here are so lovely & the studio is clean and professional. These photos with the green walls are grossly outdated- the walls are a calming grey and the space has a zen atmosphere. The staff make you feel well cared for as soon as you check in from the parking lot. Staff wear masks appropriately (covering their noses). They are very warm without losing efficiency. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes for some help with a quick earring change for a newer piercing. I would 10/10 come here for my next piercing!

Jen & Brian rock! Always thorough and kind. I first went there back in January to change my existing upper cartilage jewelry to a flat back. While I was there I asked Brian to check my tragus piercing that was done at another shop since I had formed a bump on it. Brian gave me clear instruction and within 2 weeks the bump was gone! The second visit I brought my daughter to get her 2nd lobe re-pierced and Brian discovered they never closed, he didn’t even charge us for the visit or knowledge. My most recent visit 2 weeks ago was to get my forward helix pierced which again, Jen & Brian have such great energy and customer service. After the piercing was complete, Brian gave aftercare instructions which I am happy to announce, that after three days, my piercing didn’t bother me or wasn’t as tender as some other instructions received in other places. Exotic will be my go to regarding piercings from now on!

It is beyond clean; the piercer and his staff use perfect infection control technique AND they were unbelievably patient and kind with my daughter.

Had to take all my piercings out for a surgery, my daughter told me about this place and how they “fixed” piercings that had wrong jewelry in her ears. This is the most qualified, patient man ever. Such nice people !!!! Brian finally gave me the tragus I’ve always wanted after two bad rounds of having my tragus pierced twice. He explained to me that it was done at a tattoo shop,wrong gauge and should have started with a ring.. I also had my rook pierced in the past and Brian told me that my ear “shelf” is too small and they should have never stole my money and pierced my rook... I will never go anywhere besides exotix!!!!

☆There are 2 ppl that work at Exotix (Brian Razz- piercing artist and his amazing assistant that does everything else) They are both extremely professional and knowlegable. I wanted my daith pierced & inquired about it. Some piercings require measurement of the area being pierced. If there isnt enough room & it doesnt have the required space to, also, accommodate the slight swelling that comes w/ piercing, then they will not pierce it. I came to the apt w/ Plan B bc I was told mine looked to be on the smaller side & they were right. Instead of doing what a bad company would, to make money, Brian explained why piercing it would be a mistake. I got my tragus pierced instead. He did an excellent job & it looks awesome. Hes very thorough when explaining how to clean & care for it. He even offered to check it in 3-4 weeks (if I wanted or needed) & to come in anytime after 3-4 to change/replace the gem if Id like. The prices are reasonable and he replaces all the stones for free for life. Ive been back several times & have gotten 6 more (7 total) piercings since then. Ill absolutely be back in the near future and ALWAYS recommend Brian RaZZ- Owner of Exotix to everyone.☆

Brian did a great job! I got a conch piercing and my cartilage to a 16g. We talked and gave his honest opinion which is great and kept my mind occupied. It was done quick and minimal pain. Definitely will be going back for something else! Best part was the candy at the end! He even gives you a small bottle if water just in case. Love it! And jennifer at the front is awesome! Very nice and friendly and even moved me up to an earlier appt!

I walked in when I was 8 months pregnant with a swollen nose and they helped me remove my stuck piercing free of charge! Brian is the man!

I got my snakebites done by Brian in November. They were pierced so that the left one was placed closer to my lip than the right one and the left one is also pierced in an angle. I wanted both of them placed where the left one was but the right one is way lower and sticks out like crazy. He told me that once I changed them to shorter bars, they would even out. I did that and waited for them to fix themselves but the problem only seemed to get worse. Now, the left one has deteriorated my gumline so much that I can see the bone and it hurts to smile, eat, drink, and brush my teeth. I called Exotix to see if he could take it out but hes apparently not going to be in the shop for another week, this also happened the last time I called them about something else. I got my nipples pierced by him in 2015 and they were so perfect that I insisted in going there for my snake bites. Safe to say that Ill never go back, I wish I could post pictures of them on this review.
