I’ve been attending this shop since I was 17 (2 years ago) and I’ve loved the environment! The piercers were very kind and helpful. And they always assisted me when my piercings got infected. (I was very uneducated on piercing care so I unfortunately got it infected a lot.)I gotten my ears done here, 5 piercings done.My eyebrow, double nostril, septum, medusa, and snakebites were all done here. The only reason why I’d took some out was because I was lacking on the instructions they educated me on.Overall, amazing quality and amazing stainless steel jewelry for a guaranteed healing process. ♥️

I’ve gotten over 30+ my piercings from them, and they always have great customer service. If there’s ever a piercing that you aren’t satisfied with they’ll help you take it out and the next time you come around give you one for free. Hectors very understanding and his prices are reasonable, also they take walk-ins. Highly recommend coming to them.

I go to hectors for all my piercings, they are very quick and professional. I’ve never had a problem with anyone there and i’ve never gotten an infection.( i like to go when hector is there cs he takes card)🫶🏾🫶🏾I just got my surface tragus(sideburn) like a week or two ago it’s healing pretty nicely. He did my helix, my second hole and re-pierced my nose.

I always come here for my piercings, everyone is so nice and calm (I am nervous every time lol). I also had to get my piercings taken out for work and then when I came back they put them back in for me for free :) Super great energy and vibe always!

Bori pierced me and my mom, very quick and easy felt a light pinch and that’s it. 10 piercings in less then 20 mins. 10/10 great customer service and clean

Piercing are decent prices but they rip you off with the tattoos. Made me pay 83 dollars for a small tattoo. As a new person to tattoos that was not ok especially with me being a loyal customer for years. I’m done with hectors.

I got my helix piercing done here and I love it, it was fast and the employees were so nice and price , I definitely recommend getting some piercings done here !

My experience was great! Bori was my piercer and he was superrr kind! He was very thorough with explaining to me how he was going to do my piercing and he told me everything I needed to know about the healing process. I felt no discomfort whatsoever but most of all I felt listened to and respected as a client. I would go back for sure! AND my piercing was a better price than other piercing shops Ive gone too! 10/10!

Me and all my friends have gotten all our piercings there and they’re always so nice and chill. Hector is super cool and gives us free jewelry whenever we go back to visit.

I had to remove my tongue piercing because it was done poorly and was causing me a lot of pain. The piercer rushed through the process and didnt position the piercing correctly, resulting in a crooked placement. Additionally, she over-tightened the ball, which was pinching my tongue and causing unbearable discomfort. I had no choice but to take it out to relieve the pain.

They were fast, told me my ear was pierced wrong & fixed it. They also gave us ice cold water & free jewelry all for $20!

Hectors is an amazing tattoo/piercing place! I’ve been coming here for many years and they’re always so cordial and helpful. I came back recently after having done my Tragius here! It wasn’t closed and so bori didn’t charge me. Such a great experience ❤️

This place is very unprofessional although they get lots of clients they do not tell you how to properly care for your piercing after, everything is rushed. And the owner himself was very rude and disrespectful I can tell he drinks.

I went here to get my belly button pierced and my piercing was done completely wrong and came out crooked. the place where the piercing is has a huge bump and has been scarring. I had to take it out because of how bad it was and am now waiting for it to heal to get it re-done somewhere else more professional. i thought back to my piercer and realized that he never even did any cleaning of the area before he pierced me. it was quick and done with little precision. please do not go here to get pierced you will regret it.

This is the place to gooooo for any piercing and or tattoos. I’ve gotten all my piercings from this shop and I must say they are amazing. Love how clean and comfortable they make everyone feel. They give very informative instructions on how to clean your piercing and the things to use. I love love this shop and would recommend to anyone looking to get a piercing for the first time. Go for it you won’t regret it

I took my son here for the first time to get his ears pierced. He didn’t even feel a pinch when he got the first ear pierced. Then I took him back to get the other ear pierced and Hector is just amazing He’s friendly and knows his job. A handsome guy that looks like Ricky Martin was the one that took care of my son and he’s just amazing gave really good instructions and it doesn’t hurt to look at a handsome man while getting pierced.

All of the staff are very kind and gentle. Especially for first time pierce-ees.✓ I have been getting my piercings from Hectors shop since I was 19 years old and their professionalism has been thoroughly consistent for each year Ive visited and trust me, I visit them every single year at least a handful of times, if not at least every 6 months. When you go in theres a staircase. Its a clothing shop on the first floor. In the back will be a massive sign for the place.They have an atm, a food/drink vending machine and seats, and 3-5 little areas designed for the piercer and the pierced.They have every single certification and a copy of an ID of the workers as well as a bank card clearly visible.Im coming here for a piercing change. I got my septum done in early December and Im changing it.Im being charged 10 for the change and 5 to change it inside the shop for a total of 15.The actual change was remarkably painful. The woman servicing me first tried to put the segmented stainless steel ring in raw on both sides. Didnt work. Then she sprayed it with antibacterial wound spray then lubed it up. Didnt work.Then she places this long bar in that expands the skin, and tries again. It worked but the pain of the process was comparable to getting the actual piercing. I saw the reviews, reviews DO matter.I dont have high expectations for this place and wouldnt really come back. I kept my old ring just in case.Edit: she didnt even close the piercing properly. I had to do it myself. Will not return.

I took my teenage daughter to get a nose piercing and had a great experience from the beginning to the end. I was greeted, the place was clean, smelled good, and was well ventilated. The staff was very organized, polite, and enforced social distancing. Bori explained the whole process and after care to my daughter and I and was quick and efficient. He was an absolute pleasure and the whole visit was less than 10 minutes. The piercing was affordable and if me or anyone else need a piercing, we will be coming back.

A little hole in the wall spot. I took my daughter there based on recommendations from her friend. Hector was very nice and so was his assistant. The process was quick and easy. The septum piercing was reasonably priced in comparison to the other places that we researched. Place appears to be very popular with teenagers.

Bori did my second piercing very nice and professional and he also did my daughters back dermal very nice too

This place is absolutely terrible I’m sorry but the woman who pierced me was on the phone and she didn’t prep. Also I was bleeding and they told me I’d be fine. They were also unnecessarily rude. The woman with the braids and tattoos, she pierced me.

My second time going to Hectors and I loved the experience, once again it was quick and easy. My first time was to get my septum pierced(years ago) and around 2 months ago I got a traditional tongue piercing. (Pain lvl 2/10 first day if youre thinking about getting it, Days 3-5 were the worst!) but due to the swelling I went back and got a longer bar put in and I automatically felt sooooo much better. The piercer is very informing and she made me comfortable. Definitely Going back soon to get another piercing.

First of all i hope the staff see this because i went to get my snake eyes re pierced because it fell out the same day i got it done again & i noticed that one of the dudes haves a nasty attitude rushing me to get it , im telling you like hey mark it so you know where it is btw if i can see the two holes of where the bar was before so can the piercer (if he even is one ) the first time i got it i remembered the steps the lady gave me she made me fell comfortable & didn’t rush at all ! Stop working for customer service jobs if you gonna rush on someone! Now my snake eyes is crooked thanks a lot 😐i would love to get it fixed but the number never works !

Pierced my nipples Bori was very nice and informative made me feel very comfortable. Told me about my aftercare. Service was wonderful. Clean and sanitize space. Hector the owner greeted me at the door and gave 10 minute wait time.

If I could give a negative star, I would.I when for some questions regarding a nose pierced. I dont think the gentleman with who I interact is Hector. But thats not the point. The point is, I when over, and the gentleman said, “I cant help you. We give you instructions for the piercing” meanwhile, who said I got a piercing there? I just wanted to change the jewelry on my piercing. When I told the gentleman I wanted to change my jewelry, he said, “I cant help you because you didnt get the piercing here.”Everything while having an attitude. If you didnt know just said that.Please, if you are not a people person, don’t get a customer service job.

I’ve been going to this location for the past 9 years since I was 14 in high school to get my piercings. I never had a problem most of the time hector himself did my piercing and he was great even gave me a free ring for my piercings here and there. Lately he hasn’t been at the shop as much because for the last 4 piercings I’ve gotten he’s not there which is a shame because the people he has there “running” the place are doing very bad. They rush through piercings they give the most brief explanation on how to care for a piercing and every time it’s always a different cleaning method which has confused me over the years until I finally just stuck to salt water. The reason I’m giving one star is because the last piercing I got, I got my septum repierced and after (it’s some new guy that’s been working there for a minute he’s tall I don’t know his name) he did it I felt it was in the wrong spot I’ve had a septum before and it didn’t feel how it felt this time it was too close to the cartilage and I told the guy that it felt wrong and he was like “it’s not wrong” he didn’t even look at it or anything I should’ve trusted my gut because now I have a keloid there and I never had a keloid on any of my piercings EVER even on my septum last time I got it it was perfect. Hector needs to come back and pay attention at who’s running his business cuz he’s losing loyal customers. I’m definitely not returning.

I LOVE this place. Amanda was super friendly. I randomly walked in because I was feeling like doing something spontaneous, and I got treated like family, I was comfortable and it was so quick & easy. I will definitely be coming back for more 😊 I recommend

Went in with my little sister to get a tattoo the girl estimated and gave us a price of 150-160 I showed her the size of the tattoo and a picture she advised us we would have to come back with my sister ID because she is 18, when my sister came back the manager told her a price or $300 basically saying the price she gave us wasn’t right and tried to argue saying he is the manager and he makes the prices so why would the other worker tell us that price on top of that such a low estimate, then the manager tried to say it’s because of the spot she is getting the tattoo; literally excuses I wouldn’t recommend AT ALL. very much unprofessional.

I was getting my cartilage pierced and I havent gotten any piercings besides the ones I got since I was very young so I was nervous. The guy who did my piercing obviously didnt care and just wanted to get the piercing over with. He was extremely rude to me, I dont know his name but bc of him im not going back. Also I cleaned my piercings everyday for many months and they both still ended up getting infected. He gave aftercare instructions fast, I didnt even understand what he said and I wasnt gonna bother to ask him to repeat them cus he wouldve gave more attitude. Then I recently commented on a post and said my piercing got infected then they replied back and said clean it right like i literally did but ok. I would show pics of my ear but its too bloody and gross so yep thats my experience.

Excellent service, super quick, clean, organized. I got my septum done. Piercer with the honey colored eyes was very friendly. I definitely recommend this spot. Oh, the septum was $20. Waaaaaaay better than paying those $50 piercing shops.

(Edit: I came here for a cartilage piercing and Im disappointed. If you just want a decent piercing with extremely cheap prices I still recommend coming here because its better to get something done with a needle instead of a gun. But Im disappointed with the smaller care to details. Ignoring my experience in store, the piece of jewelry they inserted was the standard earring instead of a post or ball back which you should actually get when it comes to cartilage piercings. The one thing I dont recommend getting here is an industrial because they use one needle TO MAKE 2 SEPARATE HOLES. Just because its an industrial doesnt mean that youre not getting 2 separate piercings, so treat it that way during the piercing process. Hope you found this useful.Original post (5 star review):Ive only come here once but the piercer is awesome. The visit was quick, easy, the piercer was sanitary as well and only used new needles per piercing (and pre sterilized earrings!). The studio is also separate from the waiting area (which is well planned and socially distanced). I will definitely be coming back for more piercings in the future. All the piercings are 20 dollars.Edit: one thing is for sure, I do wish hed use ball stud/flat back earrings for the lobe because its just more sanitary, easier to clean and remove.

Went today for a piercing. Guy wasn’t friendly at all, seemed to be having a bad day and was rushing. I’ve never had this experience here before, super disappointed.

I got my nose pierced today by Freddy, he was awesome very nice guy the piercing was fast and quick and painless, I was very nervous at first but he made me feel very comfortable. Freddy gave me tips on how to continue to take care of my nose up until it heals. So I definitely will be recommending potential customers to come and get their piercings done here because I am very satisfied. Thanks again Freddy.

I never thought i’d have to put 3 stars cuz i’ve been here for majority of my piercings. prices are real nice and piercings are quick. they have become real unprofessional overtime tho. most times when i come hector isn’t there so it’s some other guy and he doesn’t make u feel comfortable @ all. did my belly piercing while standing which is highly dangerous and didn’t use a clamp. found someone way better on 188th.

Hector is amazing!! Very professional and very clean and very quick! Got my conch piercing and the moment i got there took maybe like a few minutes for him to attend you but thats because of covid policy. But i was in and out. Once your piercing heals Hector tells you to come back so he can change it to a nice jewelry (no charge) if you’re in Fordham and need a piercing I highly recommend coming here :)

It was a lot of people , and he was rushing everyone doing it way to quickly didn’t even let me have time to mark my own piercing. On top of that people where scamming saying they didn’t accept Zelle , I asked nicely can I go to the bank he told me no I had to tell my friend to go for me . Honestly never again !

The man who did my piercing was very rude and when he was explaining what I needed to do to take care of it, he spoke very fast. When I asked him a question about how to clean it, he was being rude about it. I dont think Hector did my piercing, it was some other man

This is a very professional shop. Angel is the best tattoo artist. He gave a lot of insight, was very patient, and made me feel comfortable. I would highly recommend him and his work.

It’s a bunch of young careless people actually piercing you.One of them refused to give me a tissue after she continuously pours alcohol on my clothing with a very damped cotton ball.

I got my surface tragus done here. The service was nice he (i think is the owners cousin not sure) was quick and clean. Only problem was that for the surface tragus he used the wrong jewelry which in the future was cause horrible and traumatic infections. In my case he used a curved barbell which should never be used because it can cause rejection. I learned that the hard way. If getting a surface tragus in general, first do your research because is super important. I don’t personally recommend coming here JUST FOR THE SURFACE TRAGUS UNLESS YOU CAN DISCUSS IN CHANGING JEWELRY. Besides all of that, very nice place :)

Freddy was very fast and swift. Extremely friendly theres no doubt he will make you feel comfortable. I love how they look. He marked everything perfectly i didnt even have to ask to reposition it. Much love.

I have been going there for years getting piercing and never once got an infection and all 5 of my kids have gotten multiple piercing and have had an amazing experience here and when one of my kids let hers get infected they gave us the best advice and helped her heal it i have no complaints forget 5 stars i give them 10 this is New York finest and the best in the bronx

I had gotten a rook piercing there and the piercer did it wrong cause it’s not visible. I just wasted my money for nothing! The red flag was when he didnt mark the spot before the piercing

Very bad , I went from very far , I had to wait a long time and then when my turn comes he tells me that I need my ID , at that time I did not have it with me , but nevertheless other underage friends who went did not even know it . asked. other than that he was rude to me.

The girl with the braids gave me perfect piercings. I didnt have any discomfort or pain and they turned out just the way I wanted. When you come here, ask for her. He has angel hands!
