This is my first tattoo. Had to search pretty extensively in greater NJ area for an artist who could do execute what I was looking for. Luckily found Powder at Red’s… she was awesome, enjoyed my time with her and so happy with my poly tribal! Something tellsme I will be back for more..

Wonderful experience! Had my helix pierced, nipples pierced and my first tattoo done here all in a few days of each other. Very professional, sanitary and friendly. The owner at the front desk is very nice and explains the service you will be receiving in great detail. I felt very comfortable and welcome here.My piercer and tattoo artist, Powder, was the best, really sweet and very talented. My piercings look amazing and healed well will within a few days, per their detailed care instructions and the tattoo looks amazing, just as i wanted. I attached a few photos - one the day of and another 5 days later, as you can see its healing very well and looks great. I have another planned and will def be going back here to get it done. Reds shop is by far the friendliest and mkst sincerest shop Ive been to. All of their work is amazing and I could not stress this enough. My husband and I make our first tattoo with them 18 years ago and the ink still looks good. Also I recently went with my 18 year old son and we both do a nose piercing and was amazing! we have a lot of compliments. My family and I like so much this place because theyre so professionals and very cool people. We highly recommend this place!

Red and Powder are a dynamic duo. They were both very personable and knowledgeable about their trade. Powder is extremely professional and cares about her work and it shows. Her tattoos are as clean as they are beautiful. The shop itself is sanitary and well decorated. I will be back for more tattoos in the very near future.

I stopped in today for the very first time to get some new stainless hoops and had a great experience. I was greeted as soon as I went in and the gentleman up front was polite and helped me find the hoops I was looking for. After a few minutes he found what I was looking for. The piercing tech was very nice as well and took her time to make some suggestions that worked out even better then what I wanted. New needles were opened in front of me and she only took a few minutes to have everything done and I was back in the road. I would come back again and highly recommend this place to anyone. I got my nose piercing done I only called to ask if they do nose piercings. I was a walk in and the guy was really nice and so was the lady that did my nose piercing, she took her time just to make sure I was happy with the placement. She pierced it nice and quick it didn’t even hurt at all! I would absolutely recommend this place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely stellar experience. I have had multiple Tattoos and Piercings done by The Red Parlour and I simply cannot say enough good things about the business and staff. The work is TOP NOTCH. Best tattoo shop , hands down. I came in today getting my first tattoo, not gonna lie I was a little nervous but Powder made me feel comfortable and at ease. She was very patient , kind, and was very willing to make sure the size and font of my tattoo was of my liking. Let’s just say she perfected the finished product. I decided to get my very first tattoo at the age of 41 and after reading the good reviews I decided to go to this parlor. My artist was Powder. I had already sent Red the design I wanted and Powder was ready with it and just asked me a couple of questions to make sure I was happy with the design. She was absolutely AMAZING! I was scared that it was gonna hurt and I didnt even flinch lol perhaps it is her magical and gentle touch haha. When I posted the tattoo to my Facebook group they were all complimenting it and saying how clean it was. Red was very professional and nice to talk to and so was Powder. Very nice, very professional, very clean, and very inviting place. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Im thinking about me next tattoo already 🤣

I had my sixth tattoo (first one at The Red Parlour) yesterday. I want to start by saying that it was an amazing experience. When you are at The Red Parlour you dont feel like just customer in a business, you feel at home; they all make sure that you are comfortable and treat you like they have known you for years. The staff is amazing and super professional with super talented artists. Red is super professional and gives you all the details for care, he has an amazing memory! (surprised me how he remembered my name and the design just after one visit). Had my tattoo done with Powder who is an amazing artist and gave life to the design I had in paper, working on the colors and creating an amazing piece of art that has been a point of discussion at my job today with people asking me for the stores info. Im not even sure where to start, I love and always enjoy visiting the The Red Parlour. Whether its speaking on the phone to Red or visiting, I’m always impressed with the service I receive. I’ve done 3 piercings so far and more to go, but most of all I just started my two part tattoo and I’m loving it!!

Red Parlour was absolutely the right choice for my eyebrow piercing. These kinds of piercings tend to reject and infect easily, and I was super careful with my piercing in the first few months. Today was the first time I changed it, and mine is the cleanest piercing of anyone I know. Placed perfectly, very little scarring, no bleeding! Thank you!!

If your looking for a great tattoo this is the place. The artist here are all very talented and helpful. I have been to other shop but this is my place and I will only come here. I have a brilliant sleeve by Powder. The colors and the details are amazing. I also brought my son here for his fist tattoo. I wouldnt let him go anywhere else. Jorge did his tattoo and he and I are so pleased with the art work.My wife had her septum pierced and it healed up fine. Were coming in for new jewelry soon. We love this place and you will too.

Just got my piercings done by Powder J. She reassured me about placement and made me feel at ease. She talked me through the entire thing making me feel less nervous. Everything came out of fresh packaging and the store was really clean. Gave me some aftercare and was the entire thing took less than 10 mins. A definite yes. Recommended

I was searching for best places for nose piercing in Queens and this place came up with 5 stars. I read the reviews and knew right away this was the place for me. When I came in the place George and Powder made me feel welcomed. I was a little nervous since never had a piercing done as an adult but George is such a warm person and made me feel completely comfortable. He went through the steps with me and as he was doing it he told me what I was supposed to feel and all that... in general amazing experience.. I went back 2 days after because the piercing was bothering me and George with no problems was kind enough to replace the stud for me and actually customized it for me.. hes amazing! I am a male. I went into The Red Parlour on Jan. 6, 2018 for a belly button piercing. This is my first time ever visiting a tattoo & piercing parlour. Needless to say... I had questions such as how much is it gonna hurt? and so on and so on. Before gathering some courage and finding a place to get the piercing done I watched some videos on YouTube and there are some people that report pain, infection, bleeding, etc. So I had to think twice about getting it done. So I found The Red Parlour and decided to pay them a visit. Well, I have to say that my experience was no other than EXCEPTIONAL!!!! Pain varies from person to person and I have to say that I FELT NOTHING!!! George did my piercing and he was very attentive, courteous and a professional. He took his time making sure it was gonna be perfect!!!! A few seconds after he was finished he asked me to stand up and look in the mirror. I have to say that I was fascinated and euphoric at the way it looked!!! All staff at The Red Parlour is very courteous and very nice. I was just very happy that George was there that day to do my piercing. I am not thinking about getting any more body piercings done but if I ever do, The Red Parlour will be the place to go and before I do, Ill make sure George is on site!!! All in all... Cute little shop with great prices and fantastic results! I got a piercing here and it was almost completely painless, it was the smoothest and quickest piercing I’ve ever experienced. I got my first tattoo from Powder at Red Parlour Tattoo. A Polynesian tattoo on my upper arm and it took 3 sessions to complete. The last session was only a few days ago and I cant stop looking at it. I love it! Its like wearing a sharp tailor made suite, expect youre wearing it 24/7 feeling like a new man all the time. Im a Polynesian man born in Hawaii and raised in NJ and I was apprehensive about getting a poly tat in NJ, but my fears were unfounded. I had a great experience piercing my cartilage and lobes here. Theyre very informative about the piercing process and how to take care of the piercing while it heals. The process is very smooth. George and Red are extremely friendly! I would recommend The Red Parlour, they really take their time and put in the effort to use the proper equipment and technique to make piercings as painless as possible.

Got my first tattoo here and my, was it the best decision I ever made. Since then gotten another tattoo, some piercings. This place not only has great vibes, but everything is so clean and sterile. They got great artists, who not only are profesional, but seem to genuinely love and care for what they are doing. Im telling you, if you are looking for your next go-to tattoo/piercing spot. Hell, if you wanna get some great smelling incense. This is the go to spot.

I got a “spur of the moment” small walk-in tattoo and was welcomed like a life long customer. Love the piece and will definitely be back for some more.(My daughter uses account hence the name)

The tattoo of the lion was done by Powder in New York. I took it a year after the scarring healed from her scrubbing it with a paper towel soaked with alcohol at the end of her session. The other was done by another artist at the same place a few years earlier. I didnt get any scarring and there are way more solid black areas in the older tattoo. Ill let you make your own judgment about why I gave this shop 1 star.**Correction: 2 years ago the lion tatto was vigorously scrubbed with a paper towel and alcohol.

This was my first time getting a tattoo and i have to say the experience was great! The folks at red parlour answered any questions i had and took the time to explain how to best care for my tattoo etc. Powder, my tatto artist, was incredible!! She made sure i was comfortable. Her work is really great- i would definitely request her for my next tat. She works fast and her attention to detail is spot on. I got a phoenix tattoo which required abit of detailing on the face of the phoneix. Shes really good at what she does.

DONT GO HERE!!!!! Very unprofessional and not friendly. I got a piecing here and it was pierced with a hoop which isn’t good for new piercings. It’s badly infected now even when I clean it daily. The woman had you sit up in a chair while getting pierced and she did a horrible procedure. They also said to clean the piercing with hand soap??? so unprofessional and ruined my ear.

I love The Red Parlour. Ive been going there for a while for my piercings and never had an issue. Yesterday I got a tattoo on my ribs by Powder and I love it. She did not rush and the end result was amazing!! I cant wait to go back for my next tattoo there.

I went in with a design idea for a tattoo and the expectation that I may have to trim it down to a much simpler idea solely because of my experience at other shops. However, I left with a design that was more intricate and so much better than I could have anticipated! The staff was nice, professional, and enthusiastic. From the moment Alise showed me the initial sketch she seemed excited about the design and excited to do it, and she made some suggestions in the moment that were beautiful changes. She’s very talented, and I had never worked with an artist that got that involved in the design - If that’s what happens coming in with a solid idea of what I want, I’m curious to see what could come out of going in with a concept and letting one of these artists’ talents flow. Nothing short of wonderful, I’m sure. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for quality work & a reasonable price, I’m looking forward to returning for my next tattoo.

I read some really good reviews so I decided to try it out and it did not disappoint! I went to get my second earlobe peircing and it went very well. They were clean, professional, and the staff were so nice! It took 20 minutes at most and they provided the jewelry. They gave instructions on how to clean the peircing and recommend what soap to use. It was a great experience!

Came to the store to pick up rings that are normally ~$10.00 each and I got charged $25.00 each. At the time I didn’t mind, even though I know it’s extremely over priced, I like supporting small businesses. Then I get home and realized they didn’t give me the correct size and I bought two. There was a sign that said no returns so now I know I’m out of luck, waste of money. I ended up going to the tattoo/piercing shop on Steinway street and Broadway and he had much more selection and only $10.00 each. Luckily those piercings fit me.Store was very clean.

I got my first piercings here. I had the tragus done on both ears and the helix done on my left ear. They were very professional and clean. I ended up letting my holes close and came back to reopen my tragus as well as get my nose piercing done. I had a few issues with my nose piercing as my earring kept coming off but they were very friendly with the whole process. I always recommend them.

I had a old tiger tattoo that I wanted to cover up. I researched along time and finally went to the Red Parlour. There I met Red and Tim. What can I say about this place? This is the best tattoo parlour in all of New York. Red introduced me to Tim and then the my amazing experience began. Red and Tim guided me through the whole process. I cant tell you the time and effort that was given to me by these two gentleman. I had three (three-hour sessions) 5 weeks apart. Every session was better then the rest. Tim created this fantastic batman cover up. So many people tell how awesome this tattoo is!! The cover up work is top notch. It is the best tattoo I have and I have many. I will never ever go to any other place. Red is caring and guides you through everything. Tim is the best artist in New York. His work is phenomenal . Everyone is professional and the work that is created is unmatched anywhere. I love this place and so will you. If you want a tattoo or a cover up this is the place to go. Call up Red and get started. Youll be glad you did!!!!!!

I wanna just say, this place is definitely a 5 star TATOO Parlor. I have about 4 Tatoos. The first time I went to the Red Parlor I wanted to touch up an old tatoo. I work at a Used Car Dealership near the Red Parlor so I know Red from the neighborhood. Powder was the Tatoo artist that worked on me. She did an awesome job. She brought my old tat back to life. I went back again recently and got another one done. I am very happy with my new Tatoo!!! I highly recommend this place! There nice people, professional and the price is right!!!

I had a navel piercing. George was very careful to line up the piercing correctly. He made me feel comfortable and told me step by step what he was doing. He instructed me on after care. I only felt the pinch when he was piercing and did not feel much pain afterwards. There is some discomfort in the days that follow but, there is not much pain. It has healed fine by following the after care instructions. I pain $50 for the diamond-like post.

It was amazing!!!! The most generous people and they love first timers!!! Today was my first time and Im so happy! To me it didnt hurt as much, just stinging sensations. Beautiful accuracy and an amazing experience!! Im so going back for a second one ☺️👌🏼

Recently got a piercing done here and I was so scared before hand but when I showed up the man up front was really friendly the process was so quick and the piercer eased my anxiety through it all. I’m really happy with my piercing and will definitely come back for a tattoo

The Red Parlour & Tattoo & Piercing is falsely advertised and over rated. This shop is certainly not anything higher than one star.They advertise performing cover ups, but when I went in today with my Fiancé they didn’t even make any attempts to even cover up a small tattoo.Upon entering the shop there was a large overweight man, I explained to him that we called and was informed that we can get a tattoo coverup in his shop. When my fiancé showed him the small minor tattoo he said he couldn’t do it.He was very arrogant, fat, lazy, stern and a bit obnoxious. I instructed him that he can put anything over the existing tattoo, regardless of quality.He implied arrogantly that he’s been in business 21 years, yet of all the years he’s been in business he isn’t talented or skilled enough to accomplish a simple cover up.The other tattoo artist who was present with him was just as bad. She had the nerve to suggest laser removal, and say it costs $2000.00 and leave a scar.However, she isn’t licensed in that profession and not qualified to give such quotes, or knowledge in that area.Lastly, I would not recommend this shop to no one. They are very unwelcoming, obnoxious, arrogant, overweight, rude and lazy.We ended up going to a much better 5 star shop in Elmhurst called “Styx Tattoo.” They did the cover up with no hesitation or issues.

Rude staff. I went in to make an appt and they changed my whole tattoo idea. The guy kept cutting me off and then called in someone else to talk about my concept. He was impolite and she was just as bad. I wanted a simple design with two lily flowers and they bilittled my tattoo concept and said I make a lot of money off of cover ups. I just left. Not going back there again 🤷🏽‍♀️

Well i got my ear piercing here and well what can i say. It was steril and he made sure that he showed me that it was a new needle and he also made sure that i was comfortable before he pierced. He answered all my questions and made me feel like i had made the right decision about coming here

Drove pass this place and decided to check their online reviews. After reading nothing but positive feedback, I decided to go and have George pierce both nipples. I was well taken care of and felt no pain. I would definitely recommend!!
