Gretta was my tattoo artist. I’ve been going to her for about two years now she’s done wonderful fine line work and she is very clean and always on time to her appointments. She’s also done cover up work on me as well matching tattoos with some of my friends.

First off if you don’t speak Spanish good luck in this studio as when I went no one spoke English. Secondly, I am heavily tattooed and have been getting tattoos for 40 years. I asked for an Egyptian eye on the side of my hand, and was charged $200. The tattoo totally fell out. I have my other hand tattooed in the same spot and you can see the difference in the pics.i would strongly suggest South of Heaven if you want a quality tattoo and not some amateur work!!! The only reason I gave it 1 star is that it won’t let me leave zero!!!!First off this was done weeks before the convention. The owner did stop by briefly while i was there but did not take the time to insure the young man doing the work was executing the tattoo properly, or even bother to take a look. I also emphasized multiple times that he needed to go in deep and bold for the tattoo to stay. If he was unsure or not technically adept at putting ink in a spot like this he should have declined to preform the tattoo. I had multiple artists decline to do the tattoo on the other hand as they were not comfortable with the placement. Shops need to be more diligent when working with clients demands and avoiding issues such as this. And lastly, anytime Ive ever had to have a tattoo touched up for whatever reason, it has been free of charge. I have been blasted by multiple shops in the area, and never had an issue like this.

Clean & friendly. We already had a digit photo of the design (less than two inches long), so there was nothing for the artist to draw up. It was double the cost of other places we’ve gone for ink. But our artist (never got his name) was great and we are please with how it turned out.
