Came in to get a his and hers tattoo and price out a tattoo for my wifes birthday. Showed the guy at the front what we were thinking, and he got Elias and Aarron. Elias took care of me and Aarron took care of my wifes tattoo also setting up an appointment for the other tattoo. Tattoos were done quick, Elias and I had a fantastic conversation. 100% recommend this shop. Oh and as an added bonus, Aaron recognized me from about 10+ years ago getting tattoos, and he was the artist that did them. Amazing job, super happy to have chosen to go here

Took my 13 year to get an ear piercing. John was wonderful and explained everything to my daughter before proceeding.Great after care information and clear communication. Would recommend.

Great place to go get a tattoo even tho he was very busy and had alot of customers he still squeezed me in and made it happen and even gave me a discount and did some extra work and turned my simple tattoo i wanted into something great far more than i expected i love it and i recommend this place 2 👍👍up

I absolutely love my tattoo artist Nick! He does amazing work. He’s done 4 of my tattoos already and I can’t say how happy I am with the results especially the last tattoo which was in honor of my mother who passed. I only wanted two things included in my half sleeve tattoo and he created the rest. The price was amazing, gave a big discount and I can’t wait to get my 5th one from him this month. 😊😊😊😊

If I could rate lower, I would. Walked in, was greeted and asked what I was looking to do. Once the guy at the front understood my tattoo idea, he went around to all of the artists (only 1 tattoo was being done) and none of them had time or wanted to do the tattoo. So, he offered to have someone call the other location (15 min drive) to see if they could do it. They said yes, so I drove over. I walked in, was greeted and asked what I was looking to do. Once the gentleman understood my tattoo idea, he asked the artists and nobody wanted to or had time to do it. He asked if I wanted to make an appointment, to which I replied that I drove over specifically because they told me they could do it that day. He pleaded with one of the artists who reluctantly agreed to do it. He looked at it, said yes and then told me it would be $250. I get that tattoos cost money, as youre paying for a complicated process and artwork, however, it was a pretty simple, small tattoo and that seemed a bit steep. After getting the run-around and getting nasty vibes from the artist, I decided to hold off and look for a different shop to do it. By that time it was getting late and I ultimately couldnt get the tattoo that day. Bummer, because I was planning on getting the tattoo to surprise my wife for our 18th anniversary. Wont be back and definitely will advise friends & family to steer clear of this place.

I really enjoyed getting this done. Nick was great. Johnnie did an industrial and nose piercing. He was patient and explained everything before he did anything. The one closest to my wrist is my daughters actual handwriting. The other was a picture she drew me just before she died. Nick cleaned it up a bit. She would have loved it. It was a great experience!

Jonnie was amazing to me and my sister we got our nipples pierced. He was kind patient talkative and very informative on how to take care of it afterwards. I recommend going to him on your piercings best experience ever. Im 45 and he ease my mind of any embarrassment. I love my nipples

I called the Thursday prior to confirm someone would be available Sunday (Fathers Day) for a piercing. Whoever answered the phone just said hello, which led me to believe I was calling a personal line vs. a place of business. After confirming I was in fact calling the shop, he said I didnt need to make an appointment, they would be open and to just come by. I called the shop around 2:30pm to confirm again, and there was no answer. We still decided to come by, thinking they just might be busy. Despite the florescent open sign being illuminated, no one was present. We called their sister location and the best they could figure is that they took off for the holiday, and didnt have anyone at their location to accommodate us either. Unprofessional and unreliable in my book. I was happy to take my business elsewhere.

Came for a walk-in, and Aaron took good care of me. I showed him my custom drawn design and he completed it within less than an hour. Very reasonably priced and my design looks exactly as I drew it. Really nice guy. Ill be back for more work.

The experience was ok. I was with my brother for a walk-in back in December and we were going to get a couple of very simple tattoos. No one was super friendly, and the artist took us in even though he was supposed to be off. It was quick and I was happy at first, but my tattoo (an ankh) has quickly faded and theres a lot of patches. I shouldve gotten it touched up when I got the chance but Im disappointed such a small piece needs touch ups. My brothers had the same issue. Im glad I did it, but I dont think Id recommend it unless youre confident in your artist.

Got matching tattoos with my daughter and girlfriend. They were friendly and accommodating and did a great job. We were all very happy.

Great place to get a tattoo, just didn’t really like the parking, it was hard getting out. Other than that, they have great service. Shannon did my tattoo and was super chill and gave good advice (it was my first tattoo). They accept walk-ins and do piercings in the back.

Everyone is super nice, talkative and stuff. Ive gotten many piercings and just got a tattoo from them and the guy who did it is really good. The tattoo I got has many circles and straight lines and he did a superb job. Highly recommended.

Yes the minimum was $80, all I wanted was just the outline of the dove. For my first tattoo, I was just glad he did it and not my drunk brother at the time who really wanted to do it himself. Well worth the $80 to have something done right, he was very nice letting me know that I could get more ink but I didnt want, Also I have added to it since then. I never stop thinking how nice the guy was, he even got me something small to eat since I was getting dizzy from it. Since my dumb ass forgot to drink enough water and eat enough high energy good food before hand. Like I said I was avoiding drunk brother tattoo (note this tattoo was done in 2009 but I still remember them to this day and have told many friends about this) I look forward to seeing you guys soon to add new tattoo.

Got my piercing here! Nick was really gentle and talked to me the entire time! He gave me perfect care instructions and its been 5 months and I never had any problems!!

My friend and I went to visited to this place months ago, my friend paid $60 bucks for the deigns.I forgot who was the artist guy name. But that guy did not communicate with my friend at all, and did not say anything about when he is done and when we come in to check. We waited for 2 whole freakin months. Without him telling my friend anything!That guy stole my friend 60 bucks. ITS NOT OKAY.

Very good service everything was amazing. Only issue I had was they were trying to charge my girl 40 for a tattoo that was barely 2 inches and it was on the flash tatto Friday the 13th sale. And it was a simple arrow it wasnt big didnt need much shading done. Complained to one of the workers and they got it situated and put us with a different artist. Other than that an amazing place

I had my first tattoo done by Aaron Romo at the NorCal show at Cal Expo last night. Aaron is a master with over 20 years of experience and is especially skilled with shading work, which is why I chose him. I could not be happier with the quality of the work he did! It was a pretty simple black lettering tat with some shading, but the font was completely custom and he worked hard to get it right and totally nailed it. I was especially happy that he was patient and explained things and answered all my questions. I will definitely go back and see Aaron at the shop for my next tattoo!

Went looking for a feather for a memorial tattoo. What I git was a black Aztec feather that looks like its dead. He said wait till it heals it will soften up. Its still the same black feather. Will have to find someone else to fix it. Waste of money.

I think Fat Cat Tattoo parlor is one of the best places in Sacramento to get a tattoo the artist I see there has name is Nick.... among many other artists as well who are just as good they have a very soft hand which is nice and hard to come bye... highly recommend this place!!!!

I don’t usually write anything but I walk In to get my tongue pierced and the guy who did it was great but literally the entire shop smelt like weed. Ok none of my business but then the top of my pierce wasn’t centered with the bottom. I didn’t notice until I got home.

Frankie did an amazing job on my sister tattoo on her thigh of Nightmare before Christmas.

Got my first tattoo, and it came out really good, but my only complaint is that a few of the lines were off a bit, and since the piece is only lines its somewhat noticable upon close inspection, and i felt i paid a bit much for it, but the work was pretty good quality. I plan on going back for more work, already quoted a pretty reasonable price for my next piece

Their work is exceptional. Ive heard people say they are over-priced. Id rather pay more to get exactly what I want, then have bleeding ink because I dont want to pay for excellence.

I called them at 3pm to get my tongue pierced, they said come in any time after 6pm and someone would be able to help me. I showed up right at 6pm and was told no one could help me. The apprentice (Im assuming since he wasnt doing anything) told me no one had said anything about being able to pierce me after 6pm. I left very unhappy with the poor quality of service.

Aaron Romo has an amazingly light hand. His line work is fantastic and his shading is beautiful.He loves doing portraits and definitely recommend him for more delicate work!

I had the pleasure of having the arrest Aaron do a tattoo of my girlfriends name on my forearm. Excellent job and he was patient when it came to me deciding on the final size and positioning that required him to erase and resketch an outline on my arm. Maybe he knew he would make me pay for it in pain when he began to tat me. Hahaha. But no, that shot hurt hella.

If I could give this shop ten stars, I would. About a year or so back, I came in with a crooked, sketchy outline of a tattoo on my back and Aaron Romo (who is amaze-balls) colored, textured and added some all around bad-assness to my piece.So when I finally decided to try and get my nipples pierced again (I have always had inverted nipples and have been self-conscious about them - they were pierced once at another shop and it was a total hack job... migration, infection, the whole nine), I decided to go at least get a consult from the piercer at Fat Cat... and man, oh man was I right!I walked in, talked to their piercer, Circus (yep, thats his name and he, like Aaron, is frickin amaze-balls) and after a few minutes, I felt confident enough to go through with it. He was completely professional, OCD sanitary (and we all like that in a tattoo and piercing shop!) personable and you can just TELL that he loves what he does. I walked out of that shop with two fresh piercings and about a week and a half out, I can tell the difference! What an artist! All of my future needle work will be done at Fat Cat!Ive had such a great experience with this particular shop that Im telling everyone to go there. Ive heard people complain about their prices but you know what? You SERIOUSLY get what you pay for here. These artists are LEGIT and worth every penny you pay for their work.#TeamFatCat

I dont usually give bad reviews to people or businesses. This timeI had to. We came for nose piercing for my 15year olds birthday. We waited for 30 minutes listening to foul music, thats was soo loud. Its not the worse thing though. My daughter did not bring any identification with her. It the law I get it. I told to the guy we waited for 30 minutes for you to tell us that? Why the front lady did say anything about it? I was just thinking in my head.So I said now what we do? We waited 30 mnts? He started waiving the [papers I signed right in my face yelling at me that I came there. I felt threatened and unsafe with my two daughters, so we turned around to the exit door while the pierce guy Don was yelling at us, who knows what. but I felt scared. I hope for change to that place

Customer service is horrible. I got my belly button piecered at the fat cat on greenback and it was amazing. Went to this place and I couldnt even believe it, we got so disrespected In front of everyone and DON literally cussed us out of there. I thought the customer was always right? Do not recommend, go to the one on greenback because this place has horrible people working.

The guy that dose my friends tattoos is really nice and very good at his job and you can tell it’s not just a job to him.

They were easy to accomodate me and set appointment times and kept those times for both of my tattoos. Highly recommend!

This place is the best i recommend everyone to go there for piercings the guy that does it explains what he going to do in the order of the steps :) also if you need the piercing changes they will change it there very nice people i havent noticed the tattooo guys but they all seem very chill and nice people GO THERE YOU WONT REGRET IT I PROMISE !!!!!!

The one that isnt didnt look at all like it was supposed to and because the artist ( if you can call her that) chit cheated with other people in the shop it took more time so after it was done they charged us more. Dont have any ideas about going to a different shop again.
