I love this spot. I cannot recommend running from Black Hole faster. But, I so highly recommend Spear Me. The people, the products, the pricing!

Leah did amazing work, and she was very kind/knowledgable. This is not about her. I feel bad leaving this review, because *she* absolutely deserves 5 stars.However, while I was there, I witnessed the owner Perry disrespectfully lecturing one of the employees in front of her customers and coworkers. He belittled her and shamed her to the point that she went outside and started crying — I was so furious hearing what this man was saying to this poor girl that I wanted to scream at him. I would have absolutely yelled at him and walked out, but I was there for my daughter’s piercing and I didn’t want to ruin what she was looking forward to.Leah, again you were great, but we will never come back if it means putting money in that scumbag’s pockets… I’m very sorry 😞

Vry helpful, knowledgable piercer, reasonably priced, and fast! Got several nice gold pieces for my nose+septum. Helped me change out the pieces, provided me with aftercare, answered my questions about stretching my ears, etc.Highly reccomend!Edit: Just updating for 2024! I still go here fairly often, jewelry options are nice, Ive never gotten an infection here. Everything is single use and disinfected properly. Prices are fair and appointments are almost always available! I added a new photo of my medusa, with my septum and nose that Ive gotten here. I continue to stretch my gauges here as well, currently a 4g and 2g, trying to get up to a 0g. Im probably gonna keep coming here for years.

I have had several piercings done and they are very kind and professional and best of all very sanitary. They sell jewelry but you can use your own as well and they put it in an auto clave to sanitize it. I recommend to everyone to take the time to go to Carson City to Spear Me for great results.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING I LOVE THESE GUYS!!! I came here about two years ago for a septum piercing with my dad, the piercer skillfully distracted me by making me tell my dad what jewelry I wanted and she pierced me when I wasn’t looking. It did not even hurt!!! This woman was a master. I only paid $75 for the piercing, a RAINBOW TITANIUM PIECE, a bottle of Dr. Pierce, and a great tip. IF YOU CAN MAKE THE DRIVE FROM RENO, I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND IT. I went back there recently because I lost the ball on my internally threaded titanium ring, and the piercer was so accommodating, letting me see the pieces and the price was amazing. Did I mention, titanium is a scent-free, tarnish-free sturdy-as-heck metal? Please if you want professional piercing, come to spear me, you can even get a haircut before/after and they have a pool ( preferably after you’re all healed up) the even have real gold and diamonds!!! Absolutely worth it!!!

Best place to get pierced at. Such a clean environment and calming/informative to every step of the process. They have a massive selection of jewelry and can order whatever you want from BVLA. They also don’t overcharge you for this brand. I’ll never go back to black hole!

Super friendly and skilled staff. I went with my daughter and got my ears pierced but my daughter panicked and didnt. They were very understanding and nice about the whole situation.

Ive had all of my piercings done here by Julie, but a few months back she had to leave. I came in last week to get my vertical labret repierced. Leah, Julies apprentice of 2 years is now doing piercing. my piercing came out extremely crooked and was about 30 dollars more than what I used to be charged.

Went here twice, both times were a great experience. First time I was getting piercings that I was very nervous about in terms of pain, and the piercer did a great job getting me to relax and did the piercings very quickly with the least amount of pain. Second time was to fix my tragus piercing (that I got somewhere else) where the jewelry began to grow into my ear. It was that same girl, and again she was quick and there was very little pain. The staff is also very friendly and makes you feel welcome. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!

The piercer is good. Problem is prices- they arent shown anywhere. Not online or in shop. So how do we know if were getting ripped off or not!? When at the counter to pay- i was taken back by how much it was! I wasnt happy w/ the price i was told, but knew it was too late to say anything. Was also sold a pair ($60) of decorative hoops just for them to be too big for my ears & the girl who put them in to KNOW they were too big, even after i made sure to ask BEFORE commiting to them they arent too big, are they?! But a sale is a sale, right!? I wont return for overpriced jewlery & ill go back to Distinct Ink Tattoo for any more piercings. I really wanted to support a local shop, but when you leave a business feeling ripped off- then chances are you wont be back & surely wont recommend the same experience to friends or family.ONLY reason for 2 star is girl doing the piercing did em straight. She deserves credit there.

There was a woman there, who I am unable to remember the name of, who just made my first piercing experience awful. I arrived exactly on time and the woman was acting as if I had been 10 hours late. I asked for her opinion on what type of jewellery I should get and she snapped at me saying that I was taking too long and she wanted to leave early, so I just picked some random jewellery and hoped for the best. It was a navel piercing, so my shirt had to be up and this woman decided to repeatedly make comments about me and my weight. She was a bit on the larger side and kept telling me how my body is unnatural and shouldnt look that way. As she was piercing me she had me basically doing the hokey pokey and then told me that if I didnt stop moving she would cancel my appointment with no refund. Finally, after my piercing was all good and healed, I realised, this woman had pierced me crooked. Its not bad enough to where I need it fixed, but it is still very noticeable. Overall it was a terrible experience. I would not mind going back if they had replaced this she-devil with someone 20% less abrasive.

Dude, i slept on this place for too long. Its amazing. I made an appointment for me, my wife and my meta only 2 days ago and they pierced us all in under 20 mins!!! Super nice, super clean, super professional and super fun. Cant wait to come back for more!!!

Julie is amazing! So friendly and personable! Went in for a few piercings with my sister in law, so quick easy and painless! Will be going in for my nose ASAP!

Got 3 earrings about a month ago Julie put them in. Had to take all my earrings out for my surgery. Went to put them back in and my very top one was broke. I didnt notice them when I took them out because I took them all out and put them in a cup left the backings out to clean. So I called they said no refund. Julie told me my fault. Really had my ears pierced for over 20 years I know how to take out earrings. The other ones that our the same like the one the broke are fine. I will NEVER and NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

Not good! I went in to get my nose piercing put back in because It had came out, Today I was rinsing my hair in the shower and the nose piercing fall out. I paid for a new piercing for nothing! I’m not happy with my experience. Esmeralda Olivo

Absolutely loved it. The client in question was a family member who was terrified of piercings but decided to get her ears pierced. The staff here were both extremely friendly and professional! And it was very affordable. 10/10

My 6 year old asked to get her ears pierced, so I took her here to get it done for her bday. They didn’t rush and made sure the holes are in the perfect spot. My daughter is happy with her new earrings and I’m happy with the experience we had.Definitely recommend.

Honestly I’m surprised this place has 4.7 stars it’s a horrible place I do not recommend it they use cheap low grade Jewelry with high prices many people have gotten pierced wrong here I got my belly button pierced here it was pierced incorrectly which I found out from Distinct ink tattoo they had to fix their lack of good work John was more then helpful he did it for free and let me know this is not a good place to come to I’ve heard this from various good piercers in the area along with people who have came here and none of them have had a good experience honestly save your skin, time and money this is not a good place still have a horrible scar and was scared to get any piercings after this due to such a bad experience my first time I wish I would’ve done more research and hopefully this helps anyone from making the same mistake I did go anywhere else and do your research!

Julie was super awesome! Efficient, honest & sanitary. I was a little nervous for my piercings but she made me feel extremely comfortable.

I took my 2 year old daughter in to get her ears pierced. Julie was the piercer and she did her absolute best to make my kiddo feel comfortable. We ended up leaving without pierced ears because my little one cried before she even got pierced. I appreciated that Julie stopped as she was crying and said no to the piercings. We will definetly be back when she is older and more ready but today was not that day! On a side note, because of COVID they have rules they have to unfortunately enforce which was that I was not allowed in the room at the same time which I think contributed to a lot of the anxiety but was completely out of their control. So just make sure to ask about rules like that prior to the piercing because it was one I didnt think to ask about! Again, will definetly be back but not until she is more ready!Thank you Julie for atleast making an attempt she walked away happy anyways with her lollipop!

Jayson is the only person I’d ever let pierce me. He’s careful and precise and definitely knows what he’s doing! Totally kills the tension and makes you feel more comfortable in the chair❤️

If I could give “0” stars, I would! When I called with questions about piercings I was given inaccurate information on two separate occasions which ultimately resulted in me having to drive 30 minutes (last minute) to my daughter’s appointment because her piercing required a guardian (which I was not told on the phone). When I brought it up to the owner, I received a token response with no suggestion of a discount for the inconvenience of my time and gas. Very unprofessional!
