I’m from CA I came to visit a friend and have been telling her that I wanted a tattoo I kept looking up places but this place caught my attention because of the reviews when I walked in the place looked nice and clean……. Joe was down to earth I was able to tell him more or less what I wanted and he made a design that looked 10x better than what I envisioned in my head, he even made my tattoos I already had look way better….he will be the person I would definitely come back to for more tattoos

Loved my entire experience at Dream Maker Tattoo Studio, starting with the owner Joe. Super friendly, charming, funny, interesting and most important of all, incredibly talented, artistic and experienced. After talking with him for 5 minutes, he seems to get an instinctive awareness about his customers and can almost read your mind as far as helping you select or design your unique tattoo. His studio is pristine and I will recommend to everyone and anyone interested in getting a tattoo. Thanks Joe!

Omg I cannot recommend Joe enough! We were supposed to go to Seattle but with the global shutdown of Microsoft, we ended up stuck in Phoenix for 4 days. Joe cleared his schedule for us and came to our hotel to tat us up! Such good energy and amazing artwork. 10/10 would recommend!

It is my first tattoo and it came out very good. It is a recommended spot to get your tattoo. Did a amazing job and is chill while in the process of getting it. Also is fair with price, and I couldnt be more happier with the ending. Ill highly recommend anyone that has an idea of what they would like and want the tattoo artist to add their touch in it to go here. Definitely would come for my future tattoo!

My cat recently passed away and in remembrance of him I got his paw print tattooed on me. Joe basically copy and pasted the paw print on me. He is such a talented man! Definitely recommend!!!

If I could give more stars I would. In May, my younger brother died unexpectedly. My siblings and I all agreed to get matching tattoos to honor his memory. The day after his funeral we started calling around to different shops. We all live in different parts of the country and wanted to get them together before we had to disperse. By some miracle, the Golden Needle had several spots that opened up last minute. We came to the shop. Joe made us feel all at ease and listened to all our wishes. We all ended having a good time during this session. He made a tough week for my entire family feel just a little better. At the end, he offered to just charge us the base rate even though he could have charged us more.

After searching around a bit to find a place to get my first tattoo, I’m so happy I ended up choosing this place. Brennen did a phenomenal job. Aside from the fact that the tattoo turned out perfect, he did a great job of making sure I was comfortable during the procedure. I forgot I was being tattooed during the last half of the appointment. Will definitely be coming back here for future tattoos!

I got two incredible tattoos from here, and I will always highly recommend this place. The artists are SO kind and communicate well. I got exactly what I wanted for a VERY fair price! The shop is clean and has so many fun decorations. Everything about Golden Needle is great. Truly an amazing first experience with tattoos!

After going to this place for years I will not ever recommend again. I had horrible communication (not even sure how many receptionist I told the same info to) was sent the design that wasnt all of what I wanted less than 12 hours before my appointment before communication was dropped until maybe 2 hours before my appointment. my artist was sick during my appointment. he did about half the tattoo ok then completely messed up the last half. when he finished said if you like it cool, if not sorry was not listening to how I wanted it colored or anything.HE DIDNT COVER IT WHEN HE WAS DONE and sent me on my way. I had to go to another shop in town to have it completely re done. paying twice over for this tattoo. DONT GO HERE

Pretty disappointing when I sent reference pics 3 months in advance, and asked for the best tattoo artist they have and I was referred to Joe Garza, and then the appointment time comes and he had no idea what I even wanted. Didnt even look at what I sent at all. Now I have $100 gift certificate there, wont use it because I expect more than what they offer. I would never send anyone to this shop. A different artist there screwed up my boyfriends tattoo also, so it isnt just one bad artist. Go somewhere else, especially if your tattoo isnt something basic.

This place is AMAZING! The artists are the bees knees; they are a very talented group of people. The shop has the feel of a family atmosphere where everybody knowing your name. Everyone is super friendly, fun and upbeat. The shop is also very clean and well stocked. And as a plus... There is ALWAYS a huge jar of candy (I know it serves a purpose) but still a nice appreciated touch.

Got some work done by kellie today and she did awesome! Was very impressed with the lettering and how clean and timeless it came out. She was very positive and friendly! Will definitely be back for future work. Doesnt seem like there is a bad artist that works here.

This is a great place to get a tattoo. Kellie took my design and turned it into something beyond awesome. Im very pleased with her work. Joe is also really inviting and funny too. This will be my go to place from now on.

Very disappointing. I worked with Anita and have a custom designed tattoo. I have been happy with it for years until I saw it proudly posted on the Golden Needle fb page... on someone else. I did not pick my tattoo out of a book or off of a wall, it took a lot of thought and research and is a big, detailed piece. She tweaked it just enough in her opinion and feels justified in tattooing it on another person. I can no longer recommend this place unless you are happy seeing someone else in town walking around with your deeply personal tattoo.

Interesting and not so great for a first tattoo experience. Was charged almost $400 for a tattoo which was done within an hour and thirty mins. Not knowing some detailing was missing after a day or so, I respectfully contacted artist about missing details on tattoo because I could still see the stencil. Artist let me know right away not to worry and will let me know in his schedule when I can come in again. Didnt hear anything from artist for about three days so again contacted via text wondering when I could come. Got same response as before and just waited. Been waiting for 2 months now. I get it that artists are busy with appointments due to the COVID and appointments had to be pushed back. But I dont think professionalism should be thrown out of the window.

I travel from El Paso, TX to get inked at Golden Needle. Ive gotten 4 pieces and coming back in a couple weeks for more. Joe has done amazing work on myself, wife, and daughter. Staff is very polite and price is right.

Went with husband to check for pricing on a tat very helpful and responded in a timely manner. Bad thing they are booked, but its a good thing that just means that they are freaking good artist. Will update when tat is done.

My mom was looking to get a tattoo and GN was one place in town I suggested. She had some concerns, being it her first tat and such. I assisted in communication with GN for her to get the image she desired. Brennen was great and didnt treat her any different than as if this was her 50th tat. Thanks, GN, for the experience and support. P.S. You might have convinced her to get more in the future. 😉

I got a $650 tattoo from the Golden Needle. The other artists were rude to me while I was getting the tattoo. The artist didnt care about the tattoo very much either because she botched the details... Its sloppy.. Poorly done.. I couldve done better and Im not a tattoo artist. If you want a well-done tattoo with small details, do NOT get it at The Golden Needle.

Whether you want an old school artist who has been in the industry for 30 years or one of the most popular new school artists in the midwest, (or anything in between) this is the place to go.

This is the only place I go to get my tattoos. Bryan did an awesome job on my rose tattoo on my finger.

Tyler did some good work and was pretty knowledgeable about the cons of white ink, something I never knew.

I have been trying to schedule an appointment both through the shop and with an artist MULTIPLE TIMES and both people have stopped responding to me MULTIPLE TIMES. Very disappointing.
