This place is fantastic. I’m from Chicago & I came to visit a friend 2 days ago. We spontanously called this place 20 min before closing to ask if they could get us in for appts the next night. I had to email them images/description of what we wanted. The next morning, Brendan called to say unfortunately they couldn’t accommodate us that same night but offered dates later in the wk. I explained I was visiting from out of town so wouldn’t be able to go but truly, no worries! We figured it just wasn’t meant to be this time. Perhaps the universe ✨ was on our side cuz at 5pm Brendan called to say they had a cancellation & we could come at 6! Eli tattooed my friend & me; he was a lovely person & did a phenomenal job on our tats. My friend also got her septum pierced by the manager. Overall a great experience- accommodating, friendly, & professional service- thank you!!

Excellent tattoo place. The artists are welcoming and very friendly to ALL who came in during our 2.5 hr stay there. Brendon did a great job with our tats and consulted several times before the seating to ensure the tattoos met our vision. He is definitely a rising tattoo artist!!!!

My boyfriend and I came in to our appointment for a small matching tattoo and my nose pierced. We have never been here before The guy who pierced my nose was great, no complaints. The tattoos are clean and lines are clean. I got mine and he got yours. We paid a $60 deposit prior and it was still $140 a piece which was insane for what we got.Our fault we didnt ask for a price prior. Probably wont go back.

Recently came in and got a new tattoo for myself and my niece. The place is incredibly clean and everyone was so kind and professional. Brendan who did our tattoos was exceptional. We couldn’t be happier with the results and will definitely be back!!

My girlfriend got a daith piercing Saturday. She was nervous and not sure about actually going through with the appointment, and I drove her to the appointment. I knew the business wants non-customers to wait outside, but I wanted to make sure my partner was comfortable before I stepped outside.The business wants non-customers to wait outside for capacity reasons, even though the place was almost empty when we arrived. (This is the reason given on the sign.)The first thing we heard when we arrived was not hello, was not good evening, was not how are you? It was you were supposed to come alone. Im pretty sure it was the owner who greeted us and did the piercing.I could understand the owner saying excuse me, but you need to wait outside. Something like that would be polite.My partner was happy with the piercing, and hoped I will receive equally good service when I go for a tattoo. Im not sure Ill get a tattoo at this business.My score = 5 stars for partners happiness with the piercing, minus 1 star for rude greeting.

I’ve gotten 2 tattoos here, both done by Taylor. Super chill guy and he’s great at what he does. The shop replies to emails very quickly, and customer service is amazing.

Such a great experience. My best friend and I got our conches pierced, and the staff was awesome. The process was so simple and gave great instructions for ear cleaning and tips!

Got a tattoo today, Taylor did a fantastic job! It was in memory of our beloved pitty, & today was the 1 yr we lost him. So this meant the world to me. His work was perfect & had his name exactly what I was looking for. I appreciate his understanding & talent. A few girls I work with are wanting a tattoo & I’m sending them to Taylor. On a whim I decided to get my nose pierced. Suzy was amazing - friendly, funny and kind. She explained everything very well and was extremely patient. The shop was clean and organized. I would definitely go back for other piercings and will also make an appointment at the shop for my next tattoo.

Went to Joshua today to get my doubles and triples, he was amazing!!!!!! they were all very nice and informative and the store was all very clean. He measured my piercings so they’d be as even as possible, HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! 10/10

I first had a consultation first with James about covering something up on my forearm, not only was he incredibly professional but humble and had a great understanding energy. He took his time drawing out exactly what I wanted, and executed it perfectly. Not only do I have a new beautiful peice as of last night but I think I may have a new go to artist as well. Highly recommend! I was even shocked by the pricing being so reasonable.

I got a tattoo with James and I am so hyped about it! He was very patient with me about tweaking every little detail about the tattoo to make sure it was just what I wanted. I am so so happy, my experience was amazing! I definitely recommend this tattoo shop to anyone, and James knows what he is doing! Also the tattoo surprisingly did not hurt at all, he has a very light hand.

Great experience! First with the consult. I met with James to pitch my ideas on the tattoo I wanted. I threw out many details and concepts. James was awesome at stopping me from my rant and narrowing down my concept. When I showed up on my appointment date to see the sketch I was so happy! He did more and truly made the tattoo better than what I originally thought. The final product is stunning and I love it so much! I will definitely be returning.Also, all of the other staff were super nice and welcoming. Great, clean shop!

Came in to see Pedro to get a bouquet of flowers tattoo. I am absolutely in love with how it came out! He turned my ideas into a beautiful tattoo! He was very friendly and had a super light hand which put my nerves at ease. Highly recommend this shop and Pedro!

Came here for a nose piercing. they go by appointments. I called when they opened that day, and they were able to get me in!!the vibes of this place are clean, kind, and professional. (I was very impressed as I’d been into many tattoo shops before). told them I’d never gotten a piercing before w a shop, and they were so understanding. the piercer, joshua, walked me through every step he did which made me feel 10x more comfortable. he explained the healing process as well. he was quick and very detail oriented which I appreciate! 10/10 would recommend joshua!!!! :) (will have to return some day and talk with an artist about possible tattoos)

I stopped by today for a nostril piercing. The staff are incredibly nice and Suzy is a fantastic piercer. She took her time to make sure I was happy with the location and the jewelry is a perfect petite size. I was provided clear aftercare instructions. Im very happy.

This shop is a whole vibe. Everyone working there when I came in was super friendly! I went in for a butt tattoo (going to be multiple sessions) that I had been planning out with Grace. Shes so beyond easy to work with and more than happy to draw up whatever until youre happy. Shes easily the best tattoo artist Ive ever been to. Talented, fast, and even better, not heavy handed! Cannot wait to finish up this piece with her.

When I first entered the shop Suzy and Joshua were so friendly and welcoming. I ended up staying until close for both my sessions and they played movies and music for me to make my session more enjoyable. Now on to my artist Eli. Eli is so chill and extremely talented. He takes pride in his work and always made sure that I was happy with his work throughout the session. When I looked at the finished product in the mirror I instantly smiled. He gave me a tattoo that looked better than what I envisioned and I’m so in love with it. I have received so many compliments already even by my friends who don’t like tattoos. This is an awesome place and I would refer everyone to them.

Curtis was an incredible artist to work with. I gifted my 76 year old father a tattoo for his retirement. In addition to being an exceptional artist, Curtis was incredibly kind and patient with my dad, who was getting a tattoo for the first time, throughout the entire process. I highly recommend him not only for his talent, but also for incredible level of customer service.

10/10 experience! Since I was coming from out of town, I was able to schedule an appointment with Maddy in advance with images of what I wanted. Maddy was so was incredibly friendly, extremely prepared, and undoubtedly good at her job :) Highly recommend this place for all your inking needs!

Grace drew up the most perfect version of what I wanted. I was nervous for my first tattoo, and she made me feel so comfortable. I told her that I would be crying of happiness if I wasnt on antidepressants, and she said thats such a vibe. 10/10 recommend Grace and I will be coming back to her for future tattoos!

I did not get a tattoo here myself but I went with my girlfriend to get her first. The staff made her feel very comfortable. The store was clean and felt safe. Her artist, Derek did a phenomenal job!

All I can say, is I was kinda scared to get 3 dermals on my first time getting one, and not ONLY were the prices great 👍, but JOSHUA made me feel so much more comfortable, he clearly explained every bit of the process n said there might be a little bruising because its a total different kind of piercing, amd it didnt even make my eyes water. Ive wanted to get my ears pierced for the longest time, yet my nerves prevented me from making that jump. After finding this place I made the jump and set up an appointment, it was nothing short of wonderful. I met with Joshua and he was so kind and patient; answering questions, addressing concerns, and teaching me about proper aftercare. His work environment was clean, professional and the care he put in was clear. So happy with the results, would absolutely recommend!

I called for an appointment to get a daith piercing. I was able to get a price quote and a same day appointment. The shop was clean and inviting, and the staff were business oriented but friendly. After providing ID and signing my waiver, Joshua took me to the piercing room. He was thorough, patient and quick. He asked me a lot of questions and gave me quite a bit of information in regards to my piercing request, as well as aftercare. He guarantees his work so made sure I knew that if I had any issues or concerns that I should call to be seen so he could help me. It was a pretty awesome experience.You should know that they are following covid protocols for piercings, so clients need to wear a mask. There are also a limited number of people allowed in the shop, so be prepared to go in alone. They follow the laws, so ID is required at any age, and you do need to sign a waiver at the time of service. All of this information was given to me over the phone when I made my appointment, and its on a sign hanging on the door when you walk in. Regardless, my experience was a good one, and Ill definitely be back!

Went this past weekend to get a tattoo, and over the moon with how it turned out! Friendly and welcoming, the staff made me feel right at home during the whole process. Not to mention the quality of the tattoo itself - Maddy is a true master of her craft. My one regret is that I am only able to give this place 5 stars. Will definitely be back.

Finding a good tattoo shop with 100% talented, engaging, knowledgeable, and kind tattoo artists and workers can be challenging, but St. Louis Tattoo Company will probably be forever my go to tattoo shop from here on out. I’m used to being out of state and getting tattoos from a different artist every time, so finding a good shop with amazing artists in STL was my mission and I found the one! Pedro was absolutely wonderful and very helpful when it came to making decisions on my tattoo, because I simply don’t have a creative touch like that. He is super talented and professional, I seriously recommend him. But I would honestly recommend any of the artists at this shop. I met James and saw his work firsthand and his is super talented as well. You won’t regret going here and getting tatted. Everyone is welcoming and you won’t ever feel judged. Fully recommend.

Susie is the piercer that did my dermal, it was so quick and smooth didn’t hurt at all, i recently had to go back and get it removed because it was rejecting and the process was super quick. Staff was super friendly the atmosphere there was high with good vibes, i reccomend go here for any piercing or tattoo idea if you want to be around wholesome people

Such a disappointment. Staff poorly trained and unfortunately no management oversight. Seems clean but “artists” more interested in their own images than the purpose of art for their customers. Many alternatives in St. Louis should be explored for a quality and long term experience.As an addition to my original review I will also add that I was a client and have the tattoo and date thereof to prove my experience is a personal one. I will also add that in an attempt to recommend this enterprise to a 75 year old woman, they cancelled her reservation on a Friday evening because the “artist” that was scheduled to assist her was not present and they were understaffed. They used the excuse of her out o stay ID in an attempt to shield themselves from criticism. Again, accept a review that reflects your lack of quality. As stated, in this city one can take their dollars elsewhere- especially when an emotionally motivated investment. So sad.

Went to Pedro for a birthday tattoo, and I had a great experience. My tattoo was quick and almost painless since he was so easy to talk to and made sure I was comfortable at all times. The other artists and piercers at the shop were all so nice and easy to talk to. I enjoyed my appointment there throughly. Pedro and all the artists at STL Tattoo Company are incredibly talented and I highly recommend them as a shop and Pedro as an artist. I got my first tattoo here done by Franke! He was great, super chill, and let me do what i needed to in order to calm down and stay calm while he worked. They are super serious about their cleanliness and restrictions. The receptionist was great with helping me schedule an appointment and get my minor permission paperwork done. Overall it was an amazing experience, if i decide to get another tattoo or a new piercing Ill definitely be coming back!

I brought my 17-year-old in for traditional ear piercings as well as a nose stud. I was pleased with the cleanliness of the shop. Of course it is important for a tattoo/piercing parlor to be sanitary, but they also took the appropriate extra precautions necessary during COVID. Josh was very professional and patient. He worked with my child to make sure we were all comfortable and satisfied with the process. My child had to let their previous ear lobe holes close up, so there was scar tissue in the lobes. Josh was able to effectively re-pierce in the same spot without any issues. He thoroughly explained how to care for all of the piercings and was genuinely concerned that both my child and I were happy with the results. I would definitely recommend St. Louis Tattoo Company and Josh to other parents and customers.

After going to 3 other tattoo companies, I ended up at St. Louis Tattoo thinking about getting my first tattoo. Josh and Matt were both great from the moment I walked in the door. They were both very nice and professional and made me feel comfortable. I told them what I was thinking and Matt immediately went over to the drawing board and drew something up for me. Went to St. Louis Tattoo Company to have a cover-up done today. The owner personally had James work with me to cover a tattoo I had done when I was 18. James was able to thoroughly understand what I wanted. I am absolutely thrilled with the results its even better than I expected and I cant even tell its a cover-up. I would recommend this shop to anyone. They were extremely professional, courteous, and friendly. I will definitely be going back and already have a family member who wants to go back with me.Thank you so much.

This place is the epitome of what Custer service and selflessness is. The front desk people are kind and genuine. No question is a dumb question. Once you walk in they make you feel like family. I havent been around many of the artists but I can say Pedro is your guy. If you go anywhere else to get tatted youre wrong!

I recently had a tattoo touch up here with Adriana and couldnt have asked for a better experience! I received the tattoo itself at another location but wasnt too pleased with the end result, so I decided to get it fixed at St. Louis Tattoo. Before my appointment, I was nervous about a touch up on a sensitive area, but Adriana was professional, kind, and communicated the whole time so we could see great results at a pace I was comfortable with; Im now incredibly happy with how my tattoo looks and love showing it off. If you want a great tattoo from a considerate artist, Adriana is the person to go to, and the whole atmosphere at this location is amazing ❤❤❤

I just got my first tattoo here and Franke and Heather (at the front desk) were fabulous! I was pretty nervous and Franke worked with me to get just the right size and color and he was super patient. The whole place was very clean and I felt super comfortable. Would go back for sure!

My family and I decided to go in for a family tattoo and James exceeded my expectations. His shading work is unbelievable and you can tell he puts a lot of pride into what he does. After we were finished, my dad immediately made another appointment with him because he loved his work so much.The tattoo parlor itself is insanely clean and I felt very comfortable being there. We had a few scheduling changes and they were more than happy to help us out. Very professional people. You can tell they are appreciative of your business and time. Id suggest going here before any place else.

Josh is great at piercing. He did a few of mine, and Im super happy with the outcome. Every piercing was centered and look great. I even had a repiercing of my belly button that had pushed its way out/torn 7 or so years ago. He gave the best advice on how to fix it and Im so thankful I took his advice. Im very thankful for the great service and trustworthy work!

I was in town for a short while on business and wanted to get some ink that Id been thinking on for a while and they not only got me in for a consultation but were able to book me an appointment with Franke the next day, even though theyre super busy.First off, the shop is very clean and organized, especially considering its packed into a smallish space. When I went in for my consult, there were at least 4-5 artists working. Everyone is very friendly.Franke is awesome and helped flesh out the idea I brought in as a jumping off point. He gave some great advice on style choice and executed perfectly. Super cool dude who was a pleasure to work with.While it shouldnt be a huge factor in deciding to get work done here, (good work isnt always cheap and cheap work isnt always good) the cost is extremely reasonable.I really hope I get the opportunity to work in STL again so I can hit up St. Louis Tattoo Co. and Franke for some more work again!

I absolutely love this place! I had my first tattoo done here and these guys are extremely kind and friendly (they also have great prices!) My tattoo artist was James, and he made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I was SO nervous about getting my first tattoo on my foot. He talked me through everything and did such a great job. AND he treated me like an actual person rather than just a client/tattoo. I love love love my tattoo. Totally worth it. If youre torn between tattoo shops, I would definitely recommend St. Louis Tattoo Company. Ask for James!!

Derek is doing a custom piece for me and Im extremely happy with it so far! Hes put a lot of time and thought into it and is very talented. There were a few adjustments I asked for to the original design and he went in the back and made them to turn this into exactly what I pictured. Hes made some great suggestions that I hadnt thought of and Im really excited to see the final product. From the first time I came in I was really shocked at how nice and friendly everyone is. Even when emailing ideas back and forth they were very responsive. Very clean environment as well.

I had two piercings done today and was incredibly impressed with the whole experience. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes and Joshua was very professional and kind. I felt safe with their COVID precautions. Will definitely be recommending to my friends!

I recently got my first tattoo done by James and I was certainly pleased with him as an artist and the shop in general. It was a clean place which should be a reassuring factor in where you get tattooed. James was very patient with it being my first tattoo and made sure that I was comfortable throughout the whole thing. He took his time and really did produce a beautiful piece of art on my leg! As soon as I walked in the shop the staff were very helpful and friendly. I had a appointment with James Rogers. he was very timely with the appointment. once we got to his work station I noticed how clean and well kept it was, as well as the rest of the shop. he got right to work and I must say it was one of the easiest and gentle tattoos Ive had. his lines were super clean and the shading was spot on. he did a great job and I will defiantly be back to see him, it was an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend going to there. Jamess work speaks for itself.

Everyone there is very talented and has their own specialties. I chose David to do my half sleeve (first tattoo) and so far its been a great experience. Not to mention the artwork is superb! I had gotten a piercing from here a few years back and had a great experience, so I returned for a nose piercing and to increase the size of my cartilage piercing. Joshua is an excellent piercer who walks you through what he’s doing and how to take care of your piercing. They also prioritize covid safety and require masks, so that’s a huge plus. Highly recommend this business.

This place is amazing. This was my first tattoo and I picked an artist from their very easy to use website. Picking an artist was hard because it appears that EVERYONE is a pro that focuses on unique areas. I went with Jeffery because his portfolio showed more American Classic but I am positive any artist there could have done an excellent job. Jeffery simply had the swagger I wanted. This place is in Chesterfield Valley so if you want a dive bar atmosphere go somewhere else. The place is fun, clean, and loaded with talent.

After researching local shops online, I chose this shop for my daughter to get her first tattoo while traveling to St. Louis. The shop was very clean. All of the staff in the shop that day were very professional and friendly. Pete did my daughters tattoo, and it is just beautiful. He was patient and professional, working with a young lady. She felt completely comfortable with him. I would highly reccommend this shop if you are considering a tattoo in the St. Louis area, and Pete was the perfect professional to work with.

I’ve gotten 3 or 4 tattoos from here and all of them look great, healed great, everything. The only thing I have a problem with is the attitude of some of the workers, I just got my most recent one in December with my best friend, and due to covid we weren’t able to go in together no big deal. However she had placed a deposit, sent in the design we both wanted and the artist said it was fine he’d see us whenever our appointment was. When we got there he told us the design wasn’t going to work and we had to pick an entire new design it was freezing outside and we weren’t able to be in the shop and we either had to pick one then or make a new appointment and lose the deposit. The artist did not seem to care I told him then too that he should’ve emailed us to let us know but he just ignored it. So we decided on a design and whatever everything worked out, but I was extremely disappointed in the way the artist handled the situation. I also felt super uncomfortable getting it because I had told him about the my previous tattoo where I almost passed out and he just seemed extremely annoyed and ready to be done. He gave me a water but I felt like an inconvenience the whole time. After that I’m really not sure I’ll go back, anxiety is already prevalent in my life and not really necessary to have it while a needle is already poking my skin.

Me and my cousin went to get our navels pierced and Joshua did an awesome job! He explained the procedure before he did it so we knew what to expect, and he was super fast and gentle. I took my promise ring off while i was there and accidentally left without it but Joshua called us right after we left to let us know! that was super nice of him :) Overall great place! Definitely coming back if I decide to get any other piercings!

I went in to the shop on Thursday October 13th, 2016, wanting 2 small tattoos. I didnt have an appointment so if they couldnt get me in that was understandable. I had sketches of what I wanted, the shop hand, Amanda, was super nice and personable! Bobby was the one who did my tattoos and they turned out beautifully! Better than the sketches! Absolutely in love with my new ink! Thank you so much Bobby!!

Just went and got a tattoo done by James. It was my first ever tattoo and he gave me the best advice than any other tattoo artist has. I had previously wanted the tattoo on my ribs but James gave me amazing advice for a foot tattoo. Which turned out super bad ass and everyone I know loves it. He took what I gave him and made it 1000% times better. Store is very clean, takes everything out in front of you, makes you feel comfortable and welcome, overall I will be back for my second tattoo soon for sure. Highly recommend James.

James did a great job with a small but very fiddly piece I wanted. I feel like he put as much effort and care into it as he would have with any large show piece, and Im very pleased with the result. James was awesome. One small point about the shop in general which I wont take anything off the review for, but this was my second trip and both times I got the nagging feeling that I wasnt really being taken seriously when I first walked in. Perhaps it was the nature of my request, or maybe because I dont look like the typical ink customer (whatever that is) but I didnt feel really welcome for a while.

2 stars is for the way they sterilize their entire station. They strictly follow the covid protocols. I really appreciate it.Cons: I didn’t like the output of my tattoo. I said I’m not satisfied. Artist said come next time for touch up. Why should I make another visit to fix the problem! I wanted to add bright color, but the color was not visible. After a month it is even more light.Disappointed. Feather supposed to be blue and pink.The bottom butterfly is from different place. Just 20days old. The skin is still peeling. I wanted the same colors as the butterfly

Based on reviews i went to see Joshua. just like the other reviews say, it was very clean, quick, and professional. Joshua was super amiable and made me feel much more comfortable than previous piercers. also was quick to let me know that i could stop back in if i ever had any questions/concerns.

The entire staff at St Louis Tattoo Company were friendly and professional. My tattoo artist, Curtis, asked a lot of questions about what I wanted to make sure he got it exactly right and he absolutely nailed it. I live across the country and I’ll definitely be back to get another tattoo from Curtis when I’m in the area.

I got a long awaited tat from James and he was very professional and understood that I did not have a lot of time available due to travel commitments. James stayed 2 hours past closing time to finish up and never did I feel as if he was being put out. The shop was super clean and friendly with true artists that do awesome work, not just sketchers. If you want a great experience with positive advise on style and placement, there isnt a better shop in STL!

This is a hard review. I’ve gotten five tattoos here and looking back at the experience I can say this establishment is clean, the people are knowledgeable, and it was overall a good experience.Why two stars, you may ask?Now that I look at the permanent work on my body I’m sad to say that with the exception of one piece I was given stencil, quality work, but it is far from the art I’ve come to expect in the take world.The compass I’ve got is terrifyingly generic. It was even done by the same artist that gave me my favorite tattoo of all, and in the same session no less. For me, a googled photo turned stencil now falls short of true tattooing standards. I was young and I believe they may not have considered me a customer worth the time of a more intricate design though I certainly had the money to give (it was expensive anyway and took him maybe less than 10 minutes, quite shocking for the size but proof of its simplicity).Like I interacted above, I enjoyed the overall experience (which is why I went back many times and why I am giving at least two stars) but as I’ve aged I’ve realized all that is left to be desired in one of my largest pieces. I will continue to get tattoos that are meaningful but will look for an artist who is ready to express themselves in their work. This being said, there may be artists in this location now that value such an image.

I got a really simple tattoo here and it turned out fine, felt like i was more of a burden more than a paying customer. the person tattooing me was ok but the main shop owner guy was incredibly rude, and made comments that were condescending. i don’t know if he was having a bad day or if this is just his personality. either way, i was polite but it was honestly just awkward, i felt like i was offending him by even being there for some reason. wouldn’t recommend

I originally posted a negative review about this place because my experience was bad with the artist that I had (everyone else that I came in contact with at the establishment was kind and great overall). Several days later I was contacted by one of the owners once they read the review. He listened to my experience and worked with me to fix what had gone wrong. I appreciate and respect anyone who stands by their business like that a great deal. I would totally recommend this place to others. They really care about people having a good experience and leaving with an awesome tattoo!

Brought my 16 year old son in for a nose piercing. Shop is clean, professional and friendly. Joshua is knowledgeable and his humor lightened the mood. Today my husband and I went in off the streets for a tattoos and couldnt of been happier with our experience. James was our tattoo artist and he was AWESOME. He explained everything that could happen over the years with the placement of our tattoos as well as helping us choose a font that wouldnt end up being unreadable and we got older and our skin changed. He took my idea and turned it into something even better than I had imagined. I loved it so much, that I kinda wanted to hug him after he was done, but Im not sure if Franke is a hugger? So then I was thinking fist bump... but I think hes too cool for a fist bump... so I just awkwardly ended up thanking him over and over.Franke has also always given me great advice when it comes to sizing and placement, and making artistic recommendations so that the tattoo will still look great years from now. You should definitely go see Franke - hes a super talented tattoo artist and a really nice guy (and super easy to talk to!). I am already planning my next tattoo and cant wait to schedule with Franke again soon!The shop is very clean, their pricing is reasonable, and everyone who works there is friendly. Theyre also great with communication (answering the phone when you call, answering emails, getting back to you when they say they will, etc).

HORRIBLE service I went in at 6 o clock this evening to get my ears pierced with my siblings who were getting theirs pierced too and they all the sudden said we needed our birth certificates and IDs and when we stated that we didn’t have our birth certificates they said we can’t get them done and they said that they told us over the phone when they did not tell us. They also said that whoever isn’t getting pierced at the moment has to leave the building for safety reasons? There were other people in the shop getting tattoos in the exact same room where we would get our piercing and if we aren’t allowed to be in the shop while they pierce ears why is there a waiting area? I will never go back to this shop.

I went in yesterday for a simple tattoo on my wrist. A month and a year. Thats it. Imagine my shock when I was charged $80 for this. EIGHTY DOLLARS FOR A MONTH AND YEAR. Im appalled to say the least. This shop came highly recommended to me but I wont be going back. The significance of this tattoo is now somewhat tainted by the ridiculous cost. Instead of causing a scene, I paid and left. Had I been told the cost upfront, like I asked, I would have walked out. My other wrist tattoo, also a month and year, only set me back $25. Ill be going elsewhere in the future and will not recommend this shop to anyone.**Update: I did ask for a price when I walked in. I said I wanted to get a tattoo and a cost estimate. I was told I would be better off making an appointment for the next day. Which was fine. I agreed to that. Then I was told I would be able to get it done then, with a minimal wait time.My issue is $80 for the size of the tattoo and the minimal amount of time it took. To me that is awful. I could have lived with $50, no problem. But $80 is just a ridiculous amount for something so small and simple. Shame on you for charging that much.

Initially I was bit scared to go and take the appointment for my tattoo since it is the first tattoo for me but once I got in I can say this is one of the best tattoo shop which is very clean and the staff is friendly and cool. I wanted to get my son name as first tattoo and I chose Jonathan as my tattoo artist, he is super cool, friendly and professional. He listens patiently to my requirement and gave best for me. I highly recommend him.

My experience was fantastic. I went in for a consultation and was introduced to James. He was very honest with the tattoo I wanted to get. He said he would do what I wanted but wanted to give me some advice on how it would look in the future. From that moment I trusted him. I went back home and thought about what I wanted to do. I ended up tweaking what I wanted and came back to have James perform the work. Its beautiful and I will continue to go back to James for all future tattoos.

James is amazing. I came in with a rough picture and told him what I wanted. Within minutes he had my vision sketched out and ready to put on. I did it on my foot which I knew would hurt. Believe it or not, it really wasnt that bad. James had a lighter hand and a quiet machine (I think sometimes the noise from the machine can get you worked up). Before I knew it, the tattoo was done and it was incredible. He took the vision in my head and made it even better than I imagined.The shop is VERY clean and everyone is extremely professional. I was so impressed. Definitely coming here in the future!

I went to Claire’s as a child, and got my lobes pierced. They did one just fine, but the other had horrible placement. After going back at least 3 times to get it redone, and the piercing always ending up in the same spot, I decided to come here. This is not the first time I’ve had a piercing done here, and I trust Joshua with my life. He examined the original piercing, and could tell immediately that the placement was no good. He showed me a new placement, that was infinitely better. He repierced it. I barely felt it, and I can already tell the difference.

I went in 20 minutes until close and the piercer was more than eager to help me. My lip ring (that I had changed too soon as advised by the piercer of a different shop) had been irritating my lip and nearly swallowed the jewelry. I was in a slight panic, and he quickly and calmly replaced my jewelry with the correct length. He seemed genuinely concerned about my wellbeing and was very informed and kind. I have never been tattooed by an artist at this location, but Josh is a very professional piercer and I will continue going back to him.

I had a good experience with Joshua getting my nostril piercing!Pros:- Very time-efficient, I was in and out quickly- Narrated what he was doing so I knew what was happening- $50 total, for the jewelry and piercing- So far it seems to be healing great and I dont think its gonna give me any problemsCons:-Only had one (1) nose stud to pick from: a silver twist post with a white/clear gem (like a fake diamond). I wanted just a simple gold stud, and I dont really like having a gem on my face. Had I known it was my only option, I would have gone to a different shop. Id love to see them expand their options for jewelry!- I would have liked if he provided written aftercare instructions, perhaps on the back of his business card. I have pretty good ADHD and forgot what he said and had to look it up.Overall, Id definitely recommend this shop for piercings, just double-check with them that they have the jewelry you want.

My two cousins and I got matching tattoos done by Adam House a while ago and we all loved them. I did research on artists in St. Louis and he had, by far, the best portfolio. I wouldnt go to anyone else. The shop was laid back and clean. The tattoos looked amazing, healed fast, and we were garanteed touch ups if needed. Some people had told me there prices were too much but every one that I asked about was comparable or better than the other shops I had talked to. I loved it and I will definately be back there, to House, for my next tattoo!

I got my first tattoo here when I was almost 17 and LOVED it, I believe the guy who did it was named Alex? He was sooo nice and is an amazing artist.. However, I went and got another tattoo on my collarbone and a different guy did it (dont remember his name Im sorry), looked great at first but he made it way too thin and after that it faded very quickly :( He seemed to be kind of rushing. It wasnt a hard tattoo to do at all, he finished with in 10 minutes, and he didnt really talk that much.But its a very clean place and will probably be the only place I get my tattoos done just because Im familiar with it and I have trust in the people that work here... well most of them.

Had my first tattoo done today by James. Needless to say he did a amazing job. I wanted a memorial tattoo for my Grandpa in his hand writing and James nailed it. Every line and letter looked exactly like it had from the card in my Grandpas handwriting, it was beyond perfect. I would highly recommend James for anyone wanting a tattoo.

I got my first tattoo here about a year and a half ago and can say it ruined my experience and desire to get any more done. I went here to get a simple 3 letter cursive script tattoo and ended up with massive scarring. I am not sure who the artist was. I was a walk-in that day, and I guess I got someone who was free. I am currently getting my tattoo removed because I do not like it. I was told, before my first removal treatment, that I will have these scars on my arm for life. The scars have also made the removal process longer and harder. I rarely write reviews, but I do not want someone else to get scarred the way I did. I really hope this artist is no longer at the shop, or has had some more training and learned how to tattoo without scarring his clients.

I went to Tim a while back and now he does all my tattoos. everyone here is cool and makes you feel at home.. Highly recommend coming in to find your artist. Ive been here like 10 times now and will always come back to get any of my pieces done...

Before starting on her tat the guy who was doing it informed her that he didnt like doing small tats and that if she was too particular she could just let someone else do her tat. He acted as if we were bothering him by allowing him to earn our money. She allowed him to do the tat and she was satisfied with his work...but is this really how you talk to your paying customers?

For my first tattooing experience, it went really great! Bruce was very nice and professional and did an excellent job. Both the wait time and tattoos themselves did not take long at all.

I went to STL Tattoo company based on the recommendations from some friends and they did a great job on my sisters nose piercing. It was my first tattoo and I was extremely nervous( its an Afghanistan Deployment tattoo so it meant a lot) The Artist James was extremely patient and helpful when it came to bringing my tattoo idea to life, he used real pictures to draw it up (he didnt want to look at other peoples tattoos, he wanted mine to be original), and when I was ready he got me in as soon as he could and made the process as comfortable and least painful as possible. After all this he gave me a great price and a lot of great insight on tattoo aftercare. I’m sure this place is great if you get the chance to get tattooed by one of the owners/main guys but as someone who walked in and was told to come back in 3 months later to have an artist tattoo you..: it’s downright terrible. I understand that I wasn’t ‘friends’ with anyone who works but I still expected some sort of respect. I made an appointment to get a tattoo 3 months in advance and the person who was ment to tattoo me spent 2 hours “drawing up” my tattoo which was LITERALLY a photocopy of the drawing a friend drew up for me.Hell.. she forgot she had an appointment with me, she forgot that I gave source art, and she ‘forgot’ that I asked for her to put a spin on it.I shouldn’t have to wait 2 hours for an appointment I made a month in advance just for the “artist” to come out and say ‘okay.. so... what are we getting done today?’They literally photocopied a drawing and even then they managed to mess it up.I should mention that my session was supposed to start at 11 am.... nobody talked to me until about 1 and then my session didn’t start till about 1 because the ‘artist’ needed time to photocopy something that she was supposed to draw up herself.. then after an hour and a half lunch break she kicked me out because her other appointment was waiting.. without my tattoo being done.. she just said ‘make another appointment in a few months and we can finish’.

This studio is large, well organized and EXTREMELY clean. The artists do amazing work, and they are happy to answer any questions, or show off any previous work. Absolutely recommended for any tattoo or piercing needs.

They were professional and understood how to attend my elderly, disabled friend. The piercings on her ear lobes needed reopening. Josh patiently and gently attended her in the lobby rather than taking her to his work station. Extremely sensitive to her condition.

Came here and got an arm piece done by House. He was very friendly and professional. Very clean and welcoming atmosphere and I appreciated how patient the front desk gentlemen was with me because I was being difficult about what I wanted since I had a bad experience at a different place in the past. The only downside was the price was a little too high in my opinion but it was worth it for the excellent job.

I am a 10 year Breast Cancer Survivor and last month I went in and James Rogers created the Breast cancer flag with Survivor on my left side, it looks so amazing as he made it look 3-D so it looks like it is coming off my chest.James and I spoke about my right breast and how I had skin graph done and didnt look good at all, James matched my left side and created a 3-D nipple and areolas on my right breast. It looks so real and matches my left side, he is SO FREAKING AMAZING and is my Guardian Angel as I know feel good about myself and not embarrass anymore.I will be recommending James Rogers for years to come, he is the best and will be providing his business cards to my Cancer Dr. next month.
