Joe does an amazing job at his work. A great artist and communicator who works with you to create a beautiful piece of art! He has done an incredible job on my arm so far. Joe did some work on my tattoo and his work is absolutely incredible. Getting a tattoo from him is getting a wearable work of art 👏🏻 The shop itself is fantastic and I had the opportunity to watch the other artists work as well during the day - all of their work is uniquely amazing. I’d get tattooed by any of them. The shop itself is impeccably clean and all of the artists are taking extra precautions. Highly highly recommend this gem of a shop and especially Joe’s work.

I’ve been getting tattoos from John since I was around 19 and waited to get this sketch he did for me about 9 years. He’s done quite a few of my tattoos and his are still primo looking 8-10 years. Solid line work, solid color, and easy to work with. Super chill and funny also.Shop is also clean and air conditioned. A small shop but that’s really not what makes a good shop. It’s the vibe and the people there. And these are good people.UPDATE 10/11/22 see healed photo, upright and brighter

John is such an easygoing, laid back guy, but he takes his profession very seriously and is strict about cleanliness and following regulations. The place is spotless and is more sanitary than some medical offices Ive visited. He is the only artist who has worked on anyone in my family and will continue to be as long as he is in business. Ive been thinking about my One Piece tattoo for a while, and my friends and I are in town for a girls trip. Matt Laga was very welcoming to us for some walk-in tattoos. Finally glad to have it done. Thanks for the awesome environment and tattoo.

Joe is THE MAN. Seriously. Just had my second session with him. I went in a couple of months ago for a consult, had a real rough idea of what I wanted and he guided me through the process with patience, expertise, and artistry. Our first session was great- we listened to podcasts together and chatted periodically. The line work he did was elegant and detailed. Our second session, we listened to 80s music while he started on shading. I cant sing his praises enough. His work is absolutely beautiful, and while I have no frame of reference I will say he has an incredibly light hand; I was expecting a lot more discomfort/pain. I highly recommend him.

I had a beyond wonderful experience. John did my tattoo. It was everything I wanted and then some! He easily and quickly made changes to the sketch for me. While tattooing me he was gentle and extremely attentive to how I was handling it. The whole process was very quick. The entire staff was super friendly and laid back which eased my nerves. The shop was organized and spotless and for you Covid worriers, everyone was wearing masks. Lastly the pricing was more than fair. And I’m just over the moon with my new tattoo!

I cannot recommend this place enough. I have always been nervous about getting a tattoo but they made the process very easy and painless. I had a great artist in Joe and he helped take my jumbled idea and make it a reality. I am thoroughly impressed with his work so far and cannot wait to go back to finish. My artist Joe Buchman completely blew my expectations out of the water with my arm piece. He took a design I showed him and made it 100x better while still keeping the things I wanted. So professional and knowledgeable. The realistic effect on my tattoo looks as if it popped right out of the screen. I would give more stars if I could. Great shop! Great people and amazing artist. Great service good people. The artist is great! He worked with me to get exactally what I wanted. This is my second time here and its been a great experience. Me being from PA, they informed me of some great places to go that they knew of, for my wife and I and my children also. The art I got was Perfect!! It was exactly what I wanted how I wanted to the T!! The whole place is very clean and sterile. I am covered in tattoos from all over the United States being a lineman I travel a lot. Sterile equipment and environment are a must for anyone but I like to see that process of packages needles,ink,bags on guns,gloves etc. And I seen the whole process. I would recommend to anyone if you want a great piece of artwork by a real professional.

Very confused and disappointed. Lindsey had awesome customer service, but my tattoo came out SO bad. I don’t understand why. Looked nothing like what was drawn up, was placed off, etc. Have been dreaming what it would look like for a long time now. Kept staring at it, trying to force myself to like it. Sobbed for a while, got over it and planning for laser removal asap. I can’t look myself in the mirror until then….

When I moved to Rabun county from Asheville and Richmond VA being my previous homes, I was not expecting this quality of a tattoo shop. You will not find a better more versatile shop anywhere for 100 miles and you certainly wont find a place with as fair pricing if you do. I 100 percent recommended this place, John is a true master at his craft no matter what style you are looking to get. Highly recommended from a heavily tattooed collector.
