Ritual Custom Tattoos

Diego did my belly piercing and it literally was hanging on by a thread a couple days later it split through my skin and came out . Don’t go he’s very overpriced .

I got my first and second tattoo at this location by Diego, and man was he great! He walked me through the aftercare procedures, was very willing to change up the design if I needed him to, overall great guy. Extremely professional and I will definitely be back to get more work done by him! Highly recommend getting work done here if you’re just getting into tattoos like I was! Great job Diego!

I had went to Diego to get a simple tattoo that was on my thigh. He charge me $150 for it. This is my 5th tattoo, so I know how the process goes. For starters, I scheduled my appointment and put a deposit down two weeks ago and made my appointment. For one, he forgot my appointment and ask would I like to reschedule the next week, I told him that I’ll be unable to because I was going out of town. He told me to come in. I sent him my tattoo design and font that I like so that he’ll be able to put it on the transfer sheet. In about 5 minutes or so, he’s done with my tattoo. That was the quickest tattooing that I have ever seen. Literally. I have 4 other tattoos in cursive and it took my old tattoo artist at least 15 to 20 minutes to get every detail and delicate writing of the cursive words. At first, being that my tattoo area was swollen, I like it. But when I came home to do the cleansing process as I always done with my tattoos, I realize that he mess it up COMPLETELY. I mean, he even misspelled transforms. The cursive writing is all mess up and uneven. It’s horrible. He RUSHED this tattoo. It looks like an amateur did this, but yet he’s been in the tattooing business for how long??? This tattoo was meant to be meaningful to me being that my grandma pass away not too long ago, and this represented her. The next day, I sent videos and pictures to my old tattoo artist, who unfortunately move from MS and who has done my tattoos in the pass to justify my feelings towards it and to get his opinions on it. He’s been in the tattoo business for 25 plus years and he even said that he jack my tattoo up badly and that he shouldn’t even be called a tattoo artist and that it wasn’t worth $150 for such a small worded tattoo. That he cheated me. I’m so highly upset right now that words can not describe. Now, I’m looking towards getting a laser removal in a couple months from now because I don’t want this hideous thing on me for the rest of my life, even if it was cover up. I’ll endure the pain and cost of laser removal then live the life of this thing you call a tattoo on me.

I have been going to Diego at Ritual Custom for years. I have always had a great experience and felt comfortable there. The art he has done for me has been amazing and I get compliments everywhere I go! I always recommend him!

My sisters and I all got tattoos here last night and had a great time! The studio was very clean, our wait was only a few minutes, and the tattooing was done quickly. Diego had a very hospitable personality and sang and joked the whole time we were there. Trevor was very patient with me seeing as it was my first tattoo and was very thorough on the care instructions. We had a fun time and have great tattoos to celebrate our sisterhood. Thanks guys!!

I am 26 and this was my first tattoo! The line work is horrible it’s already fading and some places are just cut with no ink! And it’s looking like it’s about to get infected. I really regret getting a tattoo at all! Once it heals I’m praying to find a good place to fix it! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Fantastic. Ritual custom tattoos is a top notch place! Diego is a great artist and a master at his craft of tattooing! I came in his studio while on vacation. I walked in and was greeted promptly and felt very welcome. I had a few ideas about what I wanted and he helped guide me to what I was really wanting. Diego is an artist and he will let you know if your idea will work or not and also help with the best location for your tattoo. Hes not going to just slap whatever you want where ever you want it. He will consult with you to get the best finished product possible. After our discussion on my ideas he drew up a completely custom piece for me and I loved it! After receiving my tattoo Diego advised me how to take care of it and it healed great. I live about 3 hours away form ritual custom tattoos and my experience there was so awesome Ive driven back just to get more tattoos by Diego. I highly recommend Diego he is an awesome guy who does awesome work!!

I went there for a nose piercing and i am so disappointed! looking at the reviews, i thought this would have been a good place to go to. HE DID NOT MARK ME! he did not make sure the placement was okay with me. he did not tell me how to clean it. very dissatisfied with the placement of my piercing. i spent $50 and i want to take it out after day 2. it also hurt really bad but i dont know if that has to do with the way he did it or not. DO NOT GO TO HIM FOR NOSE PIERCINGS!

Ive been coming here for almost a year and a half! Ive gotten over 20 sessions of tattoos from Trevor a total of 10 huge pieces! This man is like the Pablo Picasso of tattoos! The shop is amazing! Diego is cool as hell and is hilarious as well! This place has become like a second home to me! If you havent been to this shop come check them out!!

We loved this parlor! Trevor and Diego are so nice and such great artists! They were able to create each of our tattoos with personal touches and the one I got with a loon looks so realistic its amazing! We are definitely going to come back and recommend them to anyone who wants really well done tattoos!

Fantastic. Diego is the best and most honest artist in the area. His artistic work is great and you can see that from pictures, but the best part is he will not bullshit you. If the idea or design you bring him will not work as a tattoo, he will tell you and work with you to make it work on skin. He will let you know if your skin tone or any conditions (psoriasis, etc.) will affect how the tattoo could look because ink will look different on everyone. Most other tattooists I have been to (and I have the bad ink to prove this) will take your money and leave a mediocre colorful scar for you to regret, remove, or have Diego cover in the future. Diego is an artist and cares about the art he delivers. Trevor is newer to the tattoo industry than Diego, but the dude learns fast and has some awesome work to show as well. I have only received work from Diego, but I would get a tattoo from Trevor if I was in the area again. The shop is sick and they make you feel right at home. I have spent 30 hours under the needle here and I would spend 30 more. 6 stars!

I had an amazing time during both sessions at Ritual Custom. Diego and the whole staff were awesome and was honestly the best experience Ive ever had with tattoos. The work that he does is truly beautiful, he is a true artist and a fun person to talk to!

The interior is very interesting and you can definitely spend more than a few minutes looking at all of the drawings and pictures scattered around the tables and on the walls. They have a small staff so expect to wait a little while if they have a few customers but they are very friendly and willing to work with you on what you want tattooed on you. Prices are a tad high but they do good work so that comes with the territory. Definitely worth a recommendation.

Got my first tattoo here plus, my ears repierced. Not only is this shop decorated nicely. But, Diegos business is clean to the T. You know youre getting a clean and safe tattoo because you can watch him, open the needles from their sterile packages. Hes very friendly, humorous but very professional when it comes to his job. I would always recomend Ritual Custom Tattoos to anyone who wants a wonderful job with their tattoo or piercings.

I had a WONDERFUL experience. This was my first time getting a tattoo and all of the staff were extremely kind, helpful, and made me feel very comfortable. I was nervous walking in, but I felt at ease in about 5 minutes. 10/10 would recommend and go again!

Diego is an exceptional tattoo artist. I enjoy getting tattoos with him. He’s funny too. Very enjoyable to be around. I’ve gotten 2 tattoos with him so far and when i decide to get another one i will be coming back here.

The piercing girl is amazing!! So gentle and patient!! I think her name was Meleah. The tattoo guy, Diego was great too!! Such a light hand!! I didnt even feel the tattoo and it was in a sensitive place!! I very much so reccomend coming here!! Youll definitely get your moneys worth plus some!!

Went today for my second and third tattoo and it was smooth sailing. I thought it was going to really painful but it wasnt. They verified the tattoo I wanted and made sure it was just what I was looking for. I was able to get both wrist completed in less than an hour. Will definitely come back for the next tattoo I decide to get. I liked it because its professional and the proof is in their work.

I went here to get my first tattoo. This place was recommended to me by a friend of mine who also went here recently. Meleah is the one who did my tattoo, and I must say she did an amazing job at making me feel comfortable. Her assistance with making sure I get the design I want the way I want it is greatly appreciated. I will be returning.

I took my dad here to get a cover up of a tattoo that he was embarrassed of on his arm for fathers day. Trever did an amazing job, you cant even tell!! Other tattoo shops turned us away and wouldnt even attempt to get creative and provide a quality tattoo that my dad wanted. Now he has an amazing tattoo that he is proud to have. Thank you Trever for listening to my dad about what he wanted and definitely delivering on the design. This tattoo is the only one he has and means so much to him. Also, Diego revived a tattoo for a friend of mine and did an amazing job. Very talented artist here would highly recommend to anyone, they dont disappoint!!

Maleah has done 2 tattoos on me and 3 on my significant other. She is very professional, clean, and talented. She does great with informing you about whats going on and making sure you like your tattoo before she puts the needle to the skin. Yall are the best!!!!

I have been to this shop multiple times and Im impressed every time. Trevor has been the one Ive gone to. I adore him as an artist and hes very professional but personal. He gives great advice along with great talent. The shop is very clean which is a big deal to me. All in all, I will be going back.

Ive been in this shop twice, both times nobody said a word to me. How can I expect you to do good work when you cant even greet a potential customer?My GF came into this shop to get 2 piercings on her ears. Nobody greeted her either. Took like 10 minutes before someone spoke to her. Yall charged her $40 dollars for it. One piercing wound up infected. She came back to the shop to have the earring removed (cause neither one of us could get the thing off) and the SAME GUY who did the piercing told her she had to buy a $20 kit to remove it. This guy did not tell her she would need a kit to take them out when she got them in, isnt that an important detail? Considering that you can go to Walmart and get a basic piercing for $6 with earrings you dont need a kit to remove.*Edit three months later* if you want justification for my one star review, make sure to read the reply the owner left. We literally used pliers to get those things out. As for the piercings, yeah theyre closed up now. Bad job, bad experience, bad altogether. Unless you actually know your artist, I would highly recommend avoiding this place

I will never go to this business again. I was completely IGNORED. I can only question if it was because of my race. NO ONE acknowledged me yesterday when I went yesterday to see if I could get a nose piercing. Literally no one! I stood there at least 10 mins to see if someone would acknowledge me, and no one ever did. They don’t have to worry about me ever again!

Spoke w the owner in person & Im very glad I did. The placement where I wanted the tattoo, he explained is a high friction area. So honestly it wouldnt be a good idea for that particular spot. Once explained, it made sense. Thank you for your honesty & as he put it not taking my money!

Ive come here a couple times for consultation and every single time I swear every single time this guy seems uninterested to work on me. Talked to me with his eyes closed while sitting in a chair LOL. When I walked in he said nothing I legit thought he was a costumer. Would love to get a tattoo because I like the work, but man its hard to schedule an appt. when you dont think the artist is interested or wants to do a good job.

Ive been to almost every ink shop in jackson, richland and byram and this is the best one, no question. Diego even had to cover up tattoos from other shop owners that dont know what theyre doing.Pankie Turner and Crystal Kelly are clowns and they talk without thought. Im white and I dont get greeted when I walk in either because Diego is always busy working. Even when hes not tattooing, hes drawing designs. The man runs the shop alone and hes always booked so he doesnt have time to stand up and kiss your ass when you walk in. My buddy is black as a skillet and Diego was super cool to him when we talked.

This is posting from my friends account but I got my nose pierced here and I was reallyyyy scared but they comforted me and everything went smoothly. Afterwards I started to feel dizzy bc I got a piercing on an empty stomach (its my first piercing, I didnt know) and they helped me, they got me something to eat and water and walked me out to make sure that I felt better! They get 5 stars from me!

Had an appointment showed up and they were not prepared for me. They were to send pics for approval but never did. We gave a deposit several weeks prior to our appointment when I showed up and they were not prepared I asked for my deposit back and they said they didnt have cash that I would have to come back the following Monday. They say they open at 11 am but I waited until 12 for them to open the door. These people are very unprofessional, rude and have no customer service skills what so ever!!!!!!

I came at 7:30 the door was locked. I could see people inside & they saw me. They were with what appeared to be another customer. However, no one ever opened the door nor did anyone bother saying they were closed. I was told they were racist by another customer but i tried it anyway. I’m not saying that is the reason, but i was very disappointed with the service i didnt receive.

Came in, was not acknowledged, they talked and finished their conversation first before assisting me, when he finally noticed me he acted as if my presence bothered him, was not greeted or welcomed at all, ask him the price of tattoo that was smaller than the size of a penny, he said 70 dollars and walked off, very expensive, very rude guy that Im assuming was the manager... I felt as the maybe because I wasnt his color preference he didnt want to assist me....you will never get far in life treating others that way

I had my legal guardian, who is also my sister, (20) with me since I am underage (17), but they rejected me. The sister isnt a legal guardian is what was said. They didnt even bother to ask for her age or ID.
