Lucky Gal Tattoo & Piercing Clive

Just got a tattoo done by Gigi, and it’s incredible! I showed her a picture of kinda what I wanted on Pinterest, but said please add your own spine; and let me tell ya she killed it! I love it so much, we’ll be adding color once this first part is healed but 10/10! It’s better than I could even imagine! Not to mention, all the other artist/staff there were so kind and so sweet! Seriously recommend Gigi and any of the other artists!!

Have gotten two tattoos done in the last month. Both times Mercury went off an idea and made something better than I was thinking. Got my next couple of ideas set up to get done by her.

Experienced an unfortunate family tragedy recently, the passing of my little sister. Today was her birthday, and I am so thankful for the love and consideration from Caito and the other artists here. She was magnificent in planning with me and detail throughout the day. This was my first tattoo and will be forever be a sweet memoryThank you Caito♡

10/10I went here to get a piercing redone. Not just any piercing, a piercing Ive had redone four other times and it has never been done right.Well, 5th times the charm because he nailed it 😁 the whole experience was awesome, the shop has prices clearly listed for their services and products and they check in process was super quick. The piercer was very professional and explained everything as he was doing it, no complaints will return

I’ve been going to lucky gal for sometime now, and have watched them grow so much! I recently got a beautiful piece done by caito and am in love! I get so many compliments and I can finally feel confident again as it is a cover up. Thank you guys so much for all the badass work I have on me.

I’ve been going to Caito at Lucky Gal for a few months working on a Norse mythology sleeve. I couldn’t recommend this shop enough!! They do the sickest work in Des Moines. Even if you have to schedule an appointment awhile out, it is WORTH IT!!

RUDE! Very unprofessional! Have always been a big supporter but this young punk was uneducated and unable to help with any type of questions. Never again

I got my nose pierced by Charlie-he was amazing! Professional, kind, knowledgeable and took time to ask me questions and get exactly what I wanted. I had to go back in to see him for some help with it and he was awesome! He’s the only piercer I’ll go to!

We were struggling to find a piercer but when I called Lucky Gal, they said he was usually in till 7. My cousin and I walked in to see if we could get our ears pierced. I didn’t catch the guys name but he was super nice! And very professional. For any piercings, we will come back to see that guy, with the Mario sleeve!

Caito is phenomenal! Who crew is dope but she gave me a gorgeous hand tattoo that has healed beautifully! Clean line work, great conversations, perfect vibes, if you need tattoos or piercings this is the place! I seriously cant recommend them enough!

I’ll always go to Apes for tattoos here! I feel so comfortable being in this shop. The other artists are such incredible, talented people and create such a comforting and supportive environment to sit for hours on end while getting tattooed. It feels like one big happy family ❤️I’d also like to add the extensive sanitary measures each of them takes to ensure the health and safety of each individual that gets a tattoo here. Couldn’t recommend them more!!!!

I love going here! They are so friendly and always so easy to talk to. I always go to April for my tattoo needs, but Caito and Denver are so fun to be around when I am there! I highly recommend Lucky gal Clive!!!

Erin did my tattoo and did an amazing job I’m so happy about it! I called to get a tattoo this morning and he was happy to get me in the same day.

Caito gave me the BEST watercolor wave tattoo ever a few years ago. Was the kindest, nicest person and even complimented my shirt (which I still have, cause that made me feel cool lol.) and took all the Instagram pics my heart desired. if you’re not going here, youre missing out on great art and great people!

Got both earlobes pierced here. Piercer was kind and friendly, price was good, and they dealt with some issues (not their fault) that came up later!

My partner and I got tattoos from Caito & loved every minute of it! Caito was very sweet and made us feel comfortable. Would recommend!

I was just visiting the Des Moines area and the ball on my industrial bar fell off, this place was only 10 minutes from my hotel and I was expecting to buy a whole new bar to replace it and the guy up front gave me a ball to fix my bar at no charge, super nice of him. Might have to come back here to get the tattoo I’ve been wanting :)

Charlie was amazing and was calm and patient while I got my nose re pierced. Was very nervous lol. He was super understanding and chill. Cool dude

Stopped in to make appointment (cant do that online in 2022 I guess). Manager said they were to busy and didnt offer any available times.Guess yall are booked for the next decade go somewhere else.

Piercer was very unprofessional and rude. he complained about doing my service right in front of me to all of his coworker’s loudly.
