Sylina has done just about every tattoo i have, she does an absolutely amazing job every single time. she’s so patient, understanding and very communicative. she makes sure it’s exactly how you like it, if it be detail, shading, color and even placement. she takes her time and makes sure it’s as perfect as possible. highly recommend going to see her! And she’s the absolute sweetest.

I have been to this location twice now! Once for a piercing with CJ and now a tattoo with Liv. Both experiences have been amazing. My piercing experience was clean, pleased and friendly. Liv was so sweet, patient, kind, sociable and she is so talented. Amazing experience with her. Recommend them both 100%!

This was my first tattoo and I couldn’t be any happier with the end result! The facility was clean and Liv was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was kind, patient, and did a fantastic job walking me through the process, and cheering me along the way! Visited Ink and Body to get my 3rd tattoo. Liv did an amazing job taking a photo and creating a tattoo that I am so happy with. The experience was comfortable and clean. She made sure I was happy with the placement and size before tattooing. I couldnt be happier with the results! Would definitely go back for another one!! Ink and Body Shop was extremely clean and welcoming. Liv made as feel so comfortable. She took the time to draw out our designs and made sure it was perfect before tattooing. My tattoos came out way better than expected. The fingers are a tougher spot to tattoo without it looking blown out and she did an amazing job. Went and got my first tattoo from Liv with a friend and everything was amazing, from the experience to the tattoo itself! The actual tattoo looks even better than the reference picture I showed her and I will definitely be going back to her for more! She’s really easygoing and is always making sure you’re comfortable. Olivia is the best !! She 3 finger tattoos on me and 1 on my husband ! She took her time and really made sure it was exactly what we wanted! CJ did a beautiful job piercing my daughter’s ears. He explained everything before, during, and after as well as lots of care instructions. Everything was very clean and hygienic and my daughter felt very comfortable. I highly recommend for a calm painless piercing.

Liv was the best. She did couple tattoos for my husband and I. Shop is clean and her cleaning process pre and post clients is very thorough. The pre-tattoo meeting was our favorite going over our design and placement before stenciling. Liv made she we would love our tattoo and that it would age well. Music choice was considerate of our preferences and get ability to be build rapport with us. Looking forward to working with her again.

Highly recommend for piercings. He did a great job with my daughter and made it a fun experience. You’ll need an appointment and you get to pick the earrings out there. Nice selection- definitely an upgrade from Claire’s.

I got a tattoo done by Liv about 8 months ago and I could not be happier with the result. It looks exactly as I wanted it and it has not faded or anything. My experience at the appointment was very pleasant; Liv was very patient and made sure to get the design exactly as I wanted (even though I did not really come in with a plan). I would most definitely recommend her and would certainly go back if I wanted more tattoos.

I was struggling to get my daith ring back in so I stopped by to get some help and get new jewelry for it. Discovered it closed up from bad jewelry. CJ was SUCH a pleasure to work with! Got it re-pierced and he made it as quick and painless as a piercing could be. Ink and Body is great! I went in to get a new tattoo that Olivia designed just for me and it was perfect. She totally nailed what I was looking for and the tattoo itself is great. She asked questions and offered ideas to make sure I was happy with what I was getting. Then, I sort of sprung it on her, hey maybe you can fill in this 20+ year old tattoo? Not only did she touch it up but she improved on it so much more than I expected. I love it! Ill be back for sure.

I went to Liv for two tattoos and I couldn’t be happier. She took my ideas and expanded on them to make them unique to me. She worked with me on placing and design and made me feel like I could tell her if I didn’t like the placement or wanted to change it. Stephon made a very special moment for my sister and I to get matching tattoos a very easy and lovely experience. He was very patient with some alterations to design and some jitters for a first tattoo. They came out beautifully, I get compliments all the time. The shop is small and very personable. The other employees there were even cheering my sister on through her first tattoo. I thought it was a great little spot that was clean, hygienic, and just really all around great. Id come back for my next tattoo venture.

I just had my first tattoo with Olivia today. I am very happy with the experience, and finished product. She was able to create what I wanted perfectly, and wanted to make sure I was completely happy with size and placement. I made a adjustment request. After that adjustment, again wanted to confirm I was completely happy with it before starting.Olivia has a soft touch and mild discomfort.only. I have family coming from out of town wanting a tattoo. Schedule permitting it will be Olivia.

This place earned my business by being one of the most human experiences Ive had at ANY business. Liv deserves a special standout here.I just recently moved, and having finally settled down means its time to get some more ink therapy sessions done. Id spent a few hours visiting local shops and had some good experiences and some bad. Ink and Body shop stood out immediately from when I called. The gentleman who answered was friendly and welcoming when I entered.Liv has some amazing pieces that show off her crispy lines and flow of her words. I knew right away I had found an artist I wanted. We went over my ideas, and she was EXCITED for some. She even managed to find some time for my birthday coming up, which is something I wanted to do to treat myself.Thank you to the gentlemen who helped us find the place, and thank you Liv!

CJ was extremely nice during our piercing experience.The shop was very sleek and clean.Negatives we had, we did not know that they used threadless jewelry, this is where they dont have backs but instead the gem slides into a post (by extreme amounts of pressure) which hurt pretty bad after being pierced. We paid $100 for 1 piercing and 1 set of earrings which we wont be able to wear with ease after taking them out. When asked how we would get them out we were told we may have to return to the shop for him to get out for us.Another issue we ran into was that many earrings only had 1 of the pair. Lots of women come in and want asymmetrical looks therefore only leaving 1 of the 2 earrings behind. MANY of the selection they offered had 1 left, not stocked with extra sets.Unfortunately when marks were placed on my ears I stated they appeared too high for my liking. I was told that the piercings would not go right on the dots and he knew what he was doing. I felt as if I should not have even approved or disapproved the location. He did well with my 2 daughters locations but mine are super spaced out.Hope this helps for future customers.

Liv was amazing! Not only is her work clean and exactly what I wanted, her personality definitely made the appointment perfect. She is super personable and made me feel extremely comfortable. She made sure to answer any questions and she also made sure that the designs were exactly what I wanted before starting the work. We took our nine year old daughter here to have her ears pierced for the first time after several weeks of researching piercing studios throughout the Charlotte region. When I called the studio, CJ answered and spent time answering my questions and walking me through how the jewelry is sanitized in an autoclave, the piercing process, what to bring the day of the appointment.When we arrived at the studio, I was pleasantly surprised with the modern yet relaxed atmosphere, and happy to find that it was spotlessly clean. CJ helped us select starter earrings, which were immediately placed in an autoclave.Before he ever started preparing for the procedure, CJ simply chatted with us and joked with our daughter to help with her nervousness. I truly appreciate that he took the time to get to know us instead of hurrying us through to get to the next client. Our daughter even found out that he shares her excitement for video games, which made her all the more happy.CJ was careful to mark and triple check the location for each earring. He had our daughter check the placement to make sure she was happy with it before going any further. The actual piercing was very quick, and true to his word, our daughter only felt a quick pinch. It was so fast and relatively painless that our daughter didnt cry or even make a sound (which was very surprising).At no point, from the time when we entered till when we left, were we rushed or made to feel like our time there was a hindrance. CJ went above and beyond to make our daughter comfortable and feel like her piercing was the most important thing he did that day. I was so impressed with both the studio and CJs professionalism that I did something I never do... write an online review. My recommendation is to do your research, check things out, and then call CJ to book an appointment. You wont be disappointed.

Liv is the absolute best! I keep going back to her because her work is amazing!! She uniquely designed 7 new tattoos for me this time! They were even better than I imagined! Incredibly hygienic and safe place to get pierced or tattooed. CJ put me at ease immediately when getting pierced and went through safe routines to make sure to minimize infections. Liv gave me my first tattoo and she was awesome! Very friendly and conscientious and it was a very positive experience. If you are lucky enough to live near this business, use them!

So I got my conch done here at the end of March 2022, this review is a little late of course. CJ, my piercer, was super cool and made sure to even walk us through the process. It’s a super kid and family friendly place and I recommend this place to anyone nearby looking for a piercing.Edit:So, I’ve been debating whether or not to add this… CJ was a fantastic person, very kind, and patient with me and my family there. HOWEVER. They are extraordinarily overpriced out the ROOF. My conch was 160 dollars… ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY DOLLARS. That’s three tanks of gas. My current piercer, phenomenal, is 48 for a simple titanium post and top.Not only that, but CJ pierced me with the wrong bar. For people who don’t know, 99% of cartilage piercings should NEVER be pierced with a curved barbell. The conch is no exception. It took me 2 years to heal it even after changing the post to a straight bar with my current piercer. The original healing time was not supposed to be that long. Not only that but when I went to CJ, it was my first piercing aside from my lobes and had no clue my bad needed to be downsized. Even worse, when I went back to him concerned about the bump on my piercing, he never mentioned downsizing and just told me to leave it and do salt soaks.I went to my new piercer, during my friend’s appointment with her, and the first thing she said was “do you want me to downsize that conch?”. After that it was all good and I got it changed to my orbital.Moral of the story, I don’t know if the shop has changed, but I do not recommend this place (at least for piercings). If you want piercings I recommend Family Tradition Tattoo

Had a great experience today with Olivia and Livin Designs. For my first tattoo I felt very welcome and it was obvious that client comfort was a top priority. The artwork was stunning and just what I wanted.

I got a tattoo of my family’s birth flowers by Olivia. At first I just had random flowers but she suggested the birth flowers and I love it! She is creative and can help you think of ways to design your tattoo if you are unsure. She can draw literally anything perfectly. She shows you that everything she’s using is new and sterile. The shop is pretty and all the artists are cool and easy going!

Amazed with this place. Nothing like I expected, and Erin was far above my wildest imaginations. Shes unbelievable! Shes not famous. Yet. But she will be, if she wants to be. Unbelievable customer service. Absolutely above and beyond what you expect to find in this country, and far beyond what you expect from someone so young. She rescheduled our appointment BEFORE normal working hours to alleviate a booking glitch in their appointment software. I have no doubt we will be back to see Erin.

Had an appointment at 2. Artist was 30 minutes late which was cool except he came in then proceeded to cuss and yell about his baby momma with his coworker and make us wait another 40 minutes or so while he did that. He was incredibly loud and unprofessional. Finally went back for our tattoos around 3:20. Rates are super high. I thought the high end tattoo parlor I went to in Vegas was high but that was nothing compared to what I paid for three words to be tattooed on my arm here that are super tiny…

My 5 year old woke up this morning and said she was ready to get her ears pierced!After reading reviews online we chose CJ and he exceeded expectations. He made time to see us today which was awesome because little ones lose their nerve sometimes if they have to wait too long.No only did he walk her through everything before he did it so she knew what to expect… he told the truth that he wouldn’t surprise her, that it would pinch but she could handle it, and is really neurotic about the process and cleanliness which is everything you want when getting a piercing regardless of age.Not only did my daughter not cry… she was SMILING when the needle hit. SMILING y’all! So grateful for the reviews that helped us find CJ so definitely have to leave one too. Thanks CJ!

I went here around a month ago and got my nose pierced and was charged over $100. I formed a bump around my piercing so I went to another shop to get it looked at. I wasnt sure why because I followed the after care instructions exactly as I was told. The guy I saw informed me that they put an actual earring in my nose instead of a nose stud. Also that the placement was completely off and that their whole process was incorrect and that was why I formed a plasma bump on my piercing. He told me if I didnt take it out it wouldve been a bigger infection. This location charges an absurd amount for piercings as is and on top of that they dont know what they are doing.

This place was lovely! Zeffy was very kind and did a great job explaining everything that was going to happen and how to keep my first nose piercing clean while it healed. I felt very safe in the environment and will most definitely be going back!

My 7 year old got her ears pierced today and CJ was amazing! He made the entire experience fun and she was so relaxed because of it. The whole vibe was so cool and I felt completely comfortable with all their safety precautions/sterilization/cleaning. I would give 10 stars if I could. Her smile at the end lit up the room.

This is different than every piercing tattoo place I’ve been to. It was so well decorated, clean, and had such welcoming energy. Normally I find piercers to be unfriendly but Jay was so nice. It is not intimidating to walk in there at all. Jay was very careful and sterilized everything thoroughly. I had no nerves because of how comfortable I felt. I could not recommend this place more. I will never go to another place.

Staff was nice, place was super clean. Very very very very expensive. Gave a lot of dont worries and we will give you discounts. For 2 conch piercings, the jewelry to go with them, a nose piercing and the jewelry and an additional nose ring, the bill was $600. We did get a discount, the original bill was over $700.Conchs are both rather high for the placement we asked for.Make sure you get all your pricing upfront so there are no surprises. CJ was great.

I got my nose pierced with Jay yesterday and let me say that this was such a wonderful experience. The studio was so clean and the staff is very professional. Jay was amazing and so helpful with guiding me through the whole process and helping me choose the right jewelry and placement. I will definitely be coming back!

This shop is pristine and just gorgeous inside. I came in with a botched double cartilage that needed to be professionally removed. CJ helped me and was incredibly knowledgeable and professional!! he knew exactly what my previous piercers did wrong, removed the piercings free of charge, gave me a complementary saline spray, and was super helpful. unlike any other piercing shop i’ve been to. definitely recommend!!

I got my septum pierced here like 4 months ago and i love it. the piercer was amazing, he explained everything he was doing before he did it and made me feel super comfortable. his assistants were super cool too and it was almost painless. 10/10

CJ was great! So welcoming and kind. The atmosphere was perfect. He cleaned my ears so well after the piercing which I’ve never had a piercer be so thorough with before. Overall, it was well worth my money for such a clean place and great placement.

Isabella did so well on my tattoo, it healed perfectly she was patient when I wanted to move the placement of my tattoo. She made sure that I was happy with where it was going to go. Walked me through aftercare and the tattoo healed perfectly.

I called Ink & Body to see if they could look at a nose piercing I got in NY a month ago. I was really worried that it was infected. Eventhough I didnt get pierced there they told me to come in so they can check it out. When I got there everyone was so patient and kind. They listened to my concerns and inspected my nose. I ended up having CJ remove my piercing since my skin was rejecting the stainless steel post. CJ was so nice to me while I cried in defeat. He cleaned my nose and sent me home with saline spray and told me to come back because he would pierce my nose again and make sure I didnt have any issues. Now Im just patiently waiting for my nose to heal so I can go back. This place is beautiful, clean (gorgeously decorated) and everyone there makes you feel so comfortable. I truly recommend giving Ink & Body Shop a chance.

I cannot praise Chania’s talent enough! My new brows make me look like a new person-my family could not stop staring! They framed my face perfectly, she used the perfect color for my skin tone and hair, and gave me so much more confidence. Chania is extremely professional and knowledgeable but is also so friendly and easy to talk to. She a very clean workspace and utilizes every safety and sanitization precaution. Super friendly and did a great job with my nose piercing. The only thing that I have to say is that it was kind of pricy. I was shocked to see it came out to $200. Other people I know that have had theirs done ranged from $45-$70. I chose a gold stud instead of silver, that may have something to do with it but I still think it’s pricy. And on top of that there was a tip. Besides that, great service.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The studio was so clean and the people there made you feel excited, heard, and safe. I’ve never been to a studio where the workers were so knowledgeable about what they are doing and that each and every one of them enjoyed their art. Couldn’t suggest a better place than this!

Had an appointment with Ghost at 12pm today waited 40 minutes and walked out after he failed to show. The manager was extremely nice and kept saying he was in route but this is unacceptable especially when you make an appointment. No text or phone call from ghost asking for a reschedule or an apology.

Lobe piercing is incredibly crooked. Will have to get it re-pierced. Had an appointment time, yet a family of 4 (3 were getting piercings) went in ahead of me.

Jay really took the time to make sure my piercing experience was excellent, and I’m very happy with my new septum piercing. He’s definitely worth visiting if you’re looking for a quality piercer.
