James has been my piercer for 5-6 years now, and he always does an excellent job, both with the piercing itself and with making me feel comfortable no matter where the piercing is. He has extensive knowledge on any piercing you can think of, a careful eye in determining whether you have the anatomy for something like a bridge or industrial, and gives detailed and honest aftercare instructions so your piercing experience is smooth from start to finish. He and his wifes new shop in Covington is super cute and they have a great selection of high-quality jewelry in titanium and gold. I would highly recommend Runestone Piercing for anyone from a nervous first-time piercee to an old veteran.

Our experience at Runestone Piercing was exceptional! My 10 & 14 year old were both able to get ear piercings they wanted. James was fantastic, walking us through the process and what to expect from beginning to end and aftercare! Very clean and sanitary. Called the shop in the middle of the day to ask about walk-ins. Spoke on the phone with James (very clear about the process to get a piercing) and showed up a few mins later to get my nostril pierced. Felt like I was in very safe hands. Shop was clean as can be. Amazing experience! Came with a friend who got her belly pierced and I got my nose pierced on a spontaneous whim.
