Awesome experience! The store is beautiful, clean and welcoming and loved the jewelry selection. Our piercer took so much time to explain everything, and really calmed my daughters nerves. Most importantly, the helix piercing was very well done.

Nurse Sarah was awesome! She explained everything she did to my daughter and I, and was patient in answering all our questions and making sure we were happy with everything. We felt confident leaving with the after care instructions. Rowan Garden City was so clean and beautiful and bright. We would go back again with out hesitation.

10/10 experience! Highly recommend. Everyone was so helpful and knowledgeable. The jewelry is SO CUTE and a great selection. All the piercers are Registered Nurses and everything is super CLEAN! You can get needle or device piercing. I will be taking my daughter here to get her ears pierced!!

I finally got my ears pierced for the first time today with Nurse Sarah & it was such an amazing experience!! She’s the best!! Rowan completely exceeded my expectations, I’d definitely recommend to anyone wanting an ear piercing!!

Went in for a flat piercing and was blown away with the entire experience. Katie was very attentive, took her time and my piercing came out perfect. Pain was a lot less than expected for a cartilage piercing. The space was clean and sterile. Will definitely visit again.

TLDR version: the actual piercing was done well, but Rowan mistakenly charged us too much for the wrong number of piercings and I feel like they are generally not very honest, competent, or customer-friendly, despite the “hey bestie!” Gen z marketing lingo. Watch them carefully so you don’t get ripped off!Here’s the story; I brought my young daughter here to get her ears pierced, and I got a helix piercing too, in solidarity. We opted for needle piercing. (Side note: if you are thinking of device piercing, do some online research first!) Everything was very clean and sanitary. The staff member who did the work was not especially friendly and didn’t explain what she was doing, but she seemed skilled and took the time to get my daughter’s holes perfectly even. I am super happy with the results and I’m grateful to her. But the business end of things at Rowan was disorganized at best.Rowan charged me for four piercings instead of the three we actually got (even though we clearly bought three pieces of piercing jewelry.) The checkout process was very rushed, so I didn’t realize, and I tipped based on the incorrect amount. They did not give me — or even offer me — a paper receipt. I only realized Rowan had made a mistake when I looked at the emailed receipt at home. I got in touch with the company and they promised to refund me for the fourth piercing in 7 business days. OK. A few hours after contacting them, I got an email “confirming my order” for a pair of earrings that I did not order, with a shipping address in Nebraska, where I don’t live, but attached to my daughter’s name. When I got in touch with Rowan AGAIN, they told me it was an error and canceled the order. All of this just seems deeply unprofessional to me.I also want to mention that during my visit to Rowan, I noticed an elderly woman getting her ears pierced, and I could tell she was really flummoxed by their processes. A staff member asked her to scan a QR code so she could fill out an online form to make an appointment, rather than helping her do it or making the appointment on the customer’s behalf. Then, when her ears were done, she wanted to pay in cash and they didn’t seem to have any options for her and just acted like she was weird for not wanting to use a card.The piercing experience was pretty good, but everything else seemed sketchy or unprofessional or unfriendly. Rowan’s aftercare solution is also super overpriced, as is their jewelry, imho, so the whole thing is expensive, even if you are lucky enough to be charged the correct amount. If I could do it over again, I would take my daughter to a local tattoo shop/body piercing studio instead. (And I would tell the elderly lady to go there, too! Maybe they would be nicer to her!)

Clean and new. Staff is kind and knowledgeable The jewelry is SO cute. Felt very secure knowing that all the jewelry is hypoallergenic and my piercer was an RN. Thank you, Nurse Kait!!

Nurse Sarah was absolutely amazing! I’ve gotten many piercings before I have about ten. She still took the time to go over the after care. Was she sweet kind and friendly as I walked in she walked me through the process, she told me what she was doing. I got my helix pierced and it did not hurt at all! The store was so clean and spotless everything was clean and sterilized. I recommend going to nurse Sarah for your next piercing!
