I am very pleased on the customer service we received the day of my daughter’s piercing. The staff made us feel comfortable and my daughter was at ease. With her anxiety she still did very well with help coping before piercing. Thank you again!

First time customer, walked in and was greeted by stellar customer service. Felt like a long time friend and I can tell other customers felt that way as well. Definitely a diamond in the rough of liberty tree. Was such a pleasant experience, my piercing was done quick and sterile, the piercing room was pleasant and incredibly reassuring, and the staff know what they’re doing. Incredibly qualified and knowledgeable employees, so happy I was introduced to this store and team. Such a professional yet friendly environment. No matter how simple your piercing is they do it with such focus and respect for you. Coming back for more!!

I came in with my son. I got my nose pierced and he got his ear pierced. She was so nice and patient. My son was so nervous and kept changing his mind but eventually he went through with it and she was so quick!Already recommended to two of my friendsThank you!

I wasn’t going to leave a review after getting my ear pierced here a couple weeks ago, but I just received a text from Pierced Utopia urging me to do so, so I figured I’d share my experience. I couldn’t NOT recommend this place enough. First of all, I was charged almost $120 for just one lobe piercing. Second of all, the piercing process itself was hell, once they got the needle through my ear they couldn’t get the earring in and spent 5 minutes pulling and poking at my ear with another needle just to finally get it in. Third, and worst of all, my piercing is completely crooked. I wish I was offered a refund for the experience, but not surprised I wasn’t given I wasn’t even offered an apology.

Clean and Professional!!!Got 3 piercings(2 earlobes, 1 septum) here on 02/23/2024.Great staff, knowledgeable and helpful in making sure to walk me through the whole process.All 3 piercings healed after 8 weeks without any issues. I was given good directions on how to care of them, and also purchased the saline spray to help with the healing process.They also have a great selection of jewelry to choose from once it’s healed and can be swapped out.💯

Nara is the most sweetest angel ever! This was my first time getting a piercing after my ear lobes since I was a baby and she was very understanding and caring throughout the whole piercing process. I couldn’t be anymore happier with my helix piercing I love it!! :) Thank you Nara 💕

I brought my 13yr old to have her second holes done, (on her ears) mind you she’s 13yrs old and they don’t allow people to go in the room with them. So that the 1st problem, that I’ve allowed it to go on as many times as it has because my now 19yr old has had many piercing done by them but we’ve never had an issue before. BUT this time we did, the holes aren’t even close to even. One earring almost touches her 1st hole. I called them and told them about the situation and they told me she can take it out and they’ll redo them?! Redo them, is the least they should be offering. More like a refund and a professional to redo them, not the same teenager that took our payment if she doesn’t have a clue of what she’s doing!

I have gotten so many piercings here with all different piercers and have always had an amazing experience! Will definitely return soon!

I love Nara. I got my right ear tragus piercing with her and I went back to her to get the left side done. She has such a calming aura. This helps me to stay calm and relax. She’s great at what she does

I love coming here (Liberty Tree Mall Danvers), and the piercer Darlene is the best. I have been coming here since 2015, getting work done by Darlene, and only Darlene, I came by yesterday, 6-8-2024 I flew in from out of state just to see her to get my cheeks, Rook, and septum done. Her hands are made for this job in how she handles, making you feel relaxed and calm, and then 123 shes done fast but perfectly and professionally I thank you Darlene for always being the bomb I will forever still come to you no one is like you where ever she goes she will forever have me as a customer

Nera was very friendly and skilled with both piercing and aftercare techniques! She even stayed while she was heading out the door to pierce my sister and I. Will definitely come back for more jewelry once we’re healed up!

Went in today and got my industrial done with nara, she helped me decide to go with the titanium i was hesitant but later i looked up titanium has a better biocompatibility rather than stainless steel hopefully that helps anyone reading, im thankful because i have a 9 month to a year for a healing window on the industrial piercing. happy she gave me a mirror to make sure i was happy with the positioning for one of my other piercings at another place they rushed me into it i ended up okay with the positioning but still would of enjoyed a look in the mirror😂, happy nara was more professional and the piercing went well i see videos of people screaming idk if thats normal or i have high pain tolerance or nara is just good at her job… must be a mix of the two lol, nara and the other staff were awesome. thank you nara!

As always, Nera and Hanane deliver nothing but the best. The place Is clean and I trust them with my piercings. I take my daughter there too and we have always had a great experience. Nera has always done my piercings and has been very patient with me. She takes her time and makes sure I am satisfied. I would 100% recommend them to anyone.

The actual ear piercing went fantastic but I was disappointed in the lack of information, the lack of transparency in pricing and materials used. The piercing gun can only use stainless steel earings- but titanium earrings are the best for your ears.Just disappointing. If I’m going to pay $200 to put a hole in my daughters body- I want more information and more transparency

I went to get my nose pierced two months ago and it healed wonderfully and they helped change the jewelry when it got ripped out. they are so wonderful and nice and i really like the care they put into me!

Honestly so terrible, convinced me the artist knew what she was doing, yet when i went to another piercer he showed me just how crooked my new conch piercing from Pierced Utopia was. I was shocked. embarrassed, and frustrated.

Had almost all of my piercings done here by Nadine, She is an amazing professional, and has hands of an angel!!

This was a lovely experience. I am a minor, and both my mother and I went. There was no requirement for a both certificate, and all they needed was ID. I got a nose piercing and it was done incredibly fast. she opened new and sterile tools, and placed it perfectly. the people working at the front desk were also extremely kind. they answered all of our questions, and it was overall a lovely experience. 10/10, would recommend.

I went to pierced utopia to get some piercings in my ear and I was attended by Nadine, a wonderful professional! she attended me very well, very friendly, careful, attentive, answered all my doubts and explained to me the step by step of care for my piercings. She made me feel very comfortable, so since then I only come here so she can help me! I already went back and did other piercings and I intend to come back more often! highly recommend!

Do your own research for your piercing before coming in! I made the mistake of thinking I could trust the piercer to fit me for a new shorter bar after my philtrum had healed a bit (I called in advance to be sure it was a good amount of time and they said to come in). It immediately felt much too short but I thought it was just because I was adjusting to it and I tipped $10 just for the piercer to swap out the jewelry. After leaving, I noticed the disc on the inside of my lip was super small compared to the 4mm disc I was pierced with. Almost like it could get sucked into the piercing or embedded. After a day of being uncomfortable and barely being able to feel the tiny disc inside my lip, I swapped it back for the original jewelry I was pierced with. I did my own research afterward, hindsight should have done in the first place, and learned the standard philtrum length is 3/8, not 5/16 I was given here. My initial jewelry was a 7/16 and the piercer knew this because she confirmed with me prior to skipping over the 3/8 that would have fit and going straight to the 5/16. When I went back to try and see about swapping for a 3/8 with a 4mm disc, they said they couldnt take it back. I understand they cant reuse jewelry from a sanitary standpoint but coming from a customer service background, they should have just damaged it out because they put the wrong size in my lip for the amount it was healed. She argued its probably just too tight because my lip wasnt healed completely and one day it will probably fit. If that was the case and she knew my lip wasnt healed enough for a 5/16, she should have fit me to jewelry that fit my lip at this moment since thats literally the reason I went in; not to get something that wont fit until months later. I will mention they did offer 50% off a new jewelry piece but I didnt feel like giving them more money for something that should have been done right in the first place.

Some friends and I went here so one of us could get a piercing done. We were shocked by how unprofessional and horribly rude Nadine was. Her energy is so miserable and she was everything but kind and welcoming. We ended up leaving because how uncomfortable my friend was. Never experienced customer service so laughably terrible.

Twice to change my septum piercing, new cartilage piercing in my upper ear, nose ring change, daith piercing change, information on piercing, and purchasing new body piercing jewelry. Nadine did the piercings for my third lobe holes a couple of weeks ago — she’s the BEST! She was super friendly and easy to talk to, she made the process as painless as possible, and gave me great recs for my next piercings. The holes are healing nicely with no issues, and the placement is perfect. 10/10 would recommend Nadine — she’s a pro and clearly knows what she’s doing (plus she’s super chill and just really nice). Would absolutely go back to Nadine for future piercings.

Works in a pinch but the shop does not sell implant grade metals, so i cant recommend getting pierced here. went to get a piece of jewelry for an existing piercing and the cashier was underinformed, and both brought me the wrong gauge of piercing (which was corrected) as well as telling me it was internally threaded (it was an externally threaded piece - not safe for any piercing, new or healed - didnt find out until after leaving the store). this is another reason I would advise against getting pierced here, external threads can agitate and damage a fully healed piercing, so imagine what that will do to a fresh one. It was fine for getting what i needed, because i had limited options, but i would recommend looking elsewhere for getting a piercing, especially if you are new to it. i would also like to mention, despite my complaints in this review - the staff were lovely and polite, and the prices were extremely reasonable.

Went in for a navel piercing on my birthday, The piercing was easy and fast and the piercer seemed to know what she was doing despite looking very annoyed with me the whole time, but when I went home everyone was telling me it was lopsided and when I went to check it in a mirror I noticed it WAS lopsided. I kinda wish it was a problem I could fix myself, but thankfully you cant really notice unless youre staring at it like crazy how my mom and friends were. Honestly might go back for my nose just because of how convenient it was. Was Nadine btw.

Clean, but no solution given and the girl who pierced my nose wasnt personable at all, kinda sort and snooty. I asked for the piecing to be a bit higher than her initial mark and the way she looked at me in judgement and hesitated and said, I think it looks good, I just said, okay your the professional. Ive since noticed others who have it right where I wanted, so its not as weird as she made it seem.

My nose was already pierced I went to put rings He made me pay $102 he re-pierced my nose because he didnt want to put the earings in the same hole I dont know why he tried to pierce my nose in one place my nose drew a lot of blood he left my nose like that without earings and he didnt give me the money back he said he got paid for his service I think its theft

I just got my industrial done by Nadine like a week ago and she was very very amazing. She was super patient with me she explained everything that I needed to know about the piercing I was getting and also the healing process. She took her time with me she made me feel very welcomed. Plus before she did anything I seen that all was very clean from her putting her gloves on to the materials that she used that were nicely packaged and clean she did great. I wouldn’t go with anyone but Nadine if u go to the Danvers location.

Today I surprised my two girls with going to get their ears pierced they had been asking for a while and today was the day. We walked in and were greeted by a friendly employee that kindly greeted us. But the brightest spot in our experience was our piercer. I truly can’t say enough amazing things about our piercer Nadine not only did she do an amazing job, but she went above and beyond with one of my girls who was nervous and scared, and Nadine could not have been more patient and kind and understanding!

Got my belly button pierced, it looks so good and wasnt that painful. Recommend for belly button piercings but aftercare instructions werent clearly provided.

Piercer is extremely patient and store feels so welcoming. Went in a couple weeks ago to get a monroe piercing, thinking I knew where I wanted it placed. I had the piercer move the piercing over from where she originally placed it but then realized it sat uncomfortably on top of my canine tooth. I went back in and she took it out for me and offered to have it redone no charge!! After a couple weeks of healing I went back and got it redone. She made sure to triple check that it was in a comfortable spot and im so happy she did because it’s so much better and I’m so happy with how it looks and feels now. Definitely would go back!!

First time here, and this shop is alright! Very quick, informational service. I did absolutely loved the woman who pierced my ears- I could tell shes extremely experienced and knows what shes doing down to a science. I see other reviews saying the process was too fast with little information and I can see that, but I also think a body modification requires some pre-research to know what youre getting into.

I am incredibly impressed by the custom service. The girl who did my piercing was extremely nice and every time she changes my piercings she incredibly sweet.

Nadine tells you exactly what’s happening during your piercing, so there’s no surprises and explains everything very clearly. Her calm energy is contagious and I had a very comfortable experience. I’ve gotten my conch, thirds, and cartilage with her with no complications.

I got 2 dermals here with my friend and the service was great. Kacie helped me pick out where the dermals should go and Nadine pierced them. They were both very helpful and answered all my questions. I’ll be coming back here in a few months to get the jewelry changed. Highly recommend!

This is one of the most amazing places to get anything pierced. I was there this afternoon with my friend while she was getting a nose piercing and they were so friendly and had a tremendous amount of patient. Im very pleased with their work and she will be returning soon to get my nose pierced. My friend also said very much enjoyed her experience and will also be returning to get another piercing. I have gotten all of my piercing here by Darlene. She is the nicest person ever. I have never had any issues with my piercing or that shop at all. Staff is all super nice and friendly and know what they are talking about and what they are doing. When I got my first piercing I was so nervous and she made me feel better and I didn’t even feel the piercing. I asked a million and one question after getting in done and she answered them all and didn’t get mad. She’s a really awesome piercer and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Plus the price is right and the service is there!

This place is not your typical mall piercing studio. Darlene is awesome - nice, professional, and helpful. Ive gotten all my piercings with her (lip, nose, industrial) and Im happy with all of them (I didnt keep the lip). The price is appropriate, but Id honestly pay more to come here.

The piercer was very nice. I had to have an eyebrow ring removed because the balls broke and she was very helpful letting me know which rings to buy and which ones to stay away from from now on. She has pierced me before and is always super nice and follows all safety precautions.

Came in to get my septum pierced and i was in and out in under 30 minutes. Darlene was very kind and made me feel very comfortable and eased my anxiety. i am definitely coming back here in the future for my next piercing!

Darlene is awesome and talented at her skill. She has done over 10 piercings for me, including dermals. She is precise and confirms the area to be pierced with you before doing the actual piercing. Ive never had any infections or issues with any of my piercings. She is very knowledgeable. I wont go anywhere else and have recommended her to several friends.

I didn’t even believe when she told me she was gonna pierce my belly button again after the first time was completely crooked but I just allowed it, maybe that was my fault for not recognizing how unprofessional she was but I let her try again. The second hole she put in was crooked again. I left and didn’t say anything. Don’t get a piercing here, especially a navel one.

She was great, had a small hiccup with my nose ring but she was very patient and gentle

Darlene is the absolute best, great person and great piercer. My pain tolerance is very high she distracted me and helped me get through it quick and easy! Would recommend!!

Didnt have a great experience my daughter went here for actually multiple piercings 2 to be exact although the price was cheap Im not sure the Experience my daughter had not once but twice was not good because she did try try again and was very unhappy with both the piercings. She said that they were crooked. We also waited an extremely long time to get it done while they stood in the store and basically did nothing except fill some stuff in the store which I thought was extremely disrespectful when you had 3 prospective customers in your store the woman was extremely rude and I dont believe shes very good at what she does or maybe she just not taking her time because she so upset. I dont know whats wrong and there but several times Ive gone in that store even without the people whove had neg experiences but I thought I would try and not go off other peoples experiences but it seems that mine mirror a Extreme amount of the comments in this section and I wonder of the woman that owns the store reads the comments and things may be I should try to be a nicer person Maybe I should treat my customers a little bit nicer Im not sure maybe somethings going on with her and shes just got something on her mind I dont know but definitely wont go back

Their website said they used a needle and that a “piercing gun is not used”. When I sat down she pulled out two disposable piercing guns that that you can buy on Amazon. It was quick but almost $50. FYI the piercing guns used are less than $10 online

I went to a local shop to get my jewelry changed and was informed that my nipple wasnt pierced properly and it was more of my areola. I was also given a curved barbell when they are supposed to be straight.

This place should be voted number one! All staff are incredibly educated and willing to answer any and all question, as silly as you might think it is. They have a huge selection of jewelry and they actually take the time to help you select a piece that fits your needs. I have had four piercings done here, all by Darlene. She is amazing.she doesnt sugar coat stuff and tells you, yup its gonna hurt! My daughter has been here already ten times and always leaves happy. There prices are by far the best, adding to the epic greatness of this place!

Im not gonna lie, I was extremely skeptical about a mall piercing...however, after a little research in reading the reviews I decided it was just a matter of location for the shop. So far I am very pleased. Darlene was extremely helpful explaining the process and I was in-and-out in less than 10 minutes, with very minimal pain and swelling. I would definitely recommend Piercing Utopia.

I went with my mom to get our ears pierced and they pierced our ear crooked and my moms ears got infected days after we got them. Wont be going back cause the lady said her ears were different lengths which they werent.

Came in this store, with only one question: how much is it for an industrial piercing. that’s it. i was not greeted. in fact, i was completely ignored. the lady that was working there was helping a couple, which is fine. but she never looked my way nor asked if i needed assistance when the couple was talking amongst themselves. i stood where the belly button rings were for 15 minutes straight before leaving. this is not my first time in this store. it’s been 2 years since i’ve been in there. last time i was there, the associate had the nastiest attitude. what’s up with this business and hiring people with no training?🙄.

Went there to get my 10 year olds ears pierced. Who was a little scared. The women working was great with my daughter calmed her right down and made the hole experience wonderful. The place was clean and very welcoming. Highly recommended.

Got my nosed pierced here the other day, I was a walk in and I came on a Saturday night. I was expecting to be waiting a while but I only waited about 5-10 mins. The piercer did a good job. It was quick and easy. Would recommend.

I took my two daughters here this afternoon after getting their ears pierced at another salon (yesterday) and subsequently losing an earring each. Dont ask me how that happened.:) In any case, the other salon was closed today so this was our next best immediate option. We had an incredibly warm and helpful experience here at Pierced Utopia. We initially came in to simply replace the lost earrings; however, we were helped above an beyond in getting earnings back into newly pierced ears. We received the best quality service. I know these moments mean a lot and are always remembered. I will go back at the very least to buy rings because of the compassionate service we received tonight. Thank you!!!!!!!!

Went for my industrial. They were super nice but.. she didn’t clean the area before piercing it, didn’t ask if the placement was ok nor did she clean the area afterwards. Didn’t mention aftercare at all and I’m pretty sure all establishments that do piercings are supposed to sell aftercare products but this place doesn’t. Not very professional and highly unsanitary. At least she wore gloves 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ive gotten a few piercings here and never really had any problems. Recently got my belly button repierced after having it out for 6+ months. I told her Im very sensitive and allergic to anything other than sterling silver, gold, and titanium and asked for any of these in a hoop. She only had bars none of which were titanium or gold. She told me that what she was piercing me with was a sterling silver bar. Had it in for barely a week and it got so infected that I rushed to my normal piercer where he told me that not only was it pierced incorrectly, but the bar she used was not sterling silver. It was nickel painted silver. Never going back, my belly button is a complete mess now. I am furious with her lack thought for my body.

Got my industrial bar pierced here about a week ago. I wasnt keeping track of the time so I went in to ask about pricing and availability right as they were closing at 6:00. was super embarrassed when they said unfortunately nobodys available right now, were ... closing. So I walked out after telling them Id be back the next week. Then heard a hey hun! from behind me and saw the piercer (loads of tattoos, very cool) calling me in. She got me in and out in about 15 minutes, made me feel comfortable, and did a great job on the piercing, even though it was closing time. The price was awesome too. Highly recommend :)

I will never go anywhere else! They are the very definition of perfect! Clean, kind, knowledgeable, patient, selection, price...I could go on and on... and im sorry theres some reviews that are clearly just not what can be expected from Darlene or anyone at pierced utopia! Ill admit I was very skeptical about a mall body piercing but they set a new standard! Ive been pierced twice so far and brought my niece once...I cant wait for my tween daughter to be ready to expand beyond her 2 normal ear piercing(her very first was completely destroyed at Claires) I had them fixed by a piercer though I so wish i had found pierced utopia first! I have referred everyone I meet looking for any piercing. Im sorry I have a hard time with the negative reviews I read especially the persons who kept going back, 3 and 4 piercings all wrong and infectedyet you kept going back??? Sorry but 1 infected piercing and were having a conversation but whether its resolved to my satisfaction or not im probably not going back, but for fun lets just say I do and the second one gets infected too... ok shame on me for going back to them and for obviously lacking either good hygiene to care for a piercing or not being smart enough to realize piercings as bad as I may want them may not agree with me but really 3 and 4 times... cmon!

Got my septum pierced here (15), definitely not a bad place to go. they were very clean and polite. my only negative feedback would have to be that they didnt spend any time marking up or making sure it was even so my piercing is a bit crooked. other than that, its a decent place and im satisfied with the outcome.

I’ve never been one to write a review, however this time it is absolutely necessary. I got my belly button pierced here around the summer. It was fine for a while but then it just never started to heal. After 6 months of having my pericing the scarring has not gone away and my skin around that area looks far from normal. I had to take it out yesterday because it was getting to be so uncomfortable and so painful. I have just come to realize that they pierced it so incorrectly. I’ve looked at normal piercings online and they put the piercing through an area of skin it was most definitely not supposed to go through. I am so upset and this is completely unacceptable. If you claim to know how to pierce you should actually be knowledgable on how to do it the proper way.

Worst customer service ever… The old lady was pretty rude, I won’t ever go back this place, and I’m gonna make sure none of my friends go there. 🤮 Thanks God I didn’t get the piercing done, I was supposed to go two days later, but I’m not going back this place.

Took a friend there that wanted his earlobes peirced. I suggested a body piercing pace that would use a needle (a Much better method for peircing ears). They were rushing around like crazy. Took him in the room and quickly peirced his ears with a gun kit !!!!! The ones you can order on Amazon with the studs already loading in them and you just squeeze them together!!!!!! I couldnt believe my eyes . He paid $50 (after they advertised $40) for something I could of done at home. It took all of 2 minutes. She barely said a word and told him to just wash it with water in the shower for aftercare........

Nipple piercings too close to the milk duct. Nipple became swollen, red, painful. Had to return and have a bar replace the nipple ring. Still after a year, and 4 months the nipple is still in the healing process.

I’ve come to Pierced Utopia for all my piercings except for two. I’ve been pierced with a piercing gun on my ears (total of 6 times) and have been pierced with a needle on two areas of my body. I contracted a Staph infection from this location because of the unsanitary environment and instruments used during the procedure. I took very very good care of my naval piercing and for it to get infected after only a week is depressing to say the least. I visited the doctor and was advised to remove the piercing and given some antibiotics (oral and topical). I should have monitored the woman doing my piercings a bit more carefully to make sure I was in good hands. They also don’t tell you what their earrings are made out of unless you ask so you’re taking a risk coming here to get pierced without knowing what the jewelry is made of. If you do decide to go, make sure you ask for Darlene I believe her name is. I’ve heard wonderful things about her but I was unfortunate enough to be pierced by a novice instead.

So so so sweet, i came in today to get my nose pierced and she did it so quickly and it was painless. i get prone to passing out when i see blood and she made sure i didn’t go anywhere until i was fully ready and was just all in all so so so helpful. thank u so much!!!

Terrible job with ear piercing. Put the earrings on so so tight, that they were embedded in the ears.Very difficult and dangerous to get out.And the owner has taken no accountability. Won’t even answer an email. Totally frightening and unprofessional! Stay away from this place!

Went in to have my 3 daughters ears pierced. The woman who did them, did them in such a way that they face down instead of straight through the earlobe! You can see the backs of the earrings sticking out under their ear lobes when looking at my girls faces. I dont think theres any way to fix this. Im so disappointed!

When i got my ear pierced a few months ago, everyone was kind and professional. i went in the other day to make sure it wasn’t infected, one of the women at the counter pulled down her mask to hit a vape.. in the store.. in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic..

To the girl who reports her navel being pierced incorrectly Arin Kim to be precise. First of all you absolutely cannot compare your navel to a picture you are perced according to your anatomy if you have a navel that requires a different angle that is not the pierces fault. A barbell takes a good 12 months to heal correctly but still has a high rejection rate also something for piercer cannot control. You called the store we were more than accommodating for you so we are confused with this rating without you explaining the exact details that the piercer was willing to go above and beyond to satisfy and help you. first off Pierced Utopia gives detailed cleaning aftercare to their customers they also do not ever Pierce with Sterling silver never!!!! Im Not sure where you got nickle plated silver from but pierced Utopia only carriers Surgical Steel. Of course another piercer is going to bash another Piercer I am sorry that happens. Pierced Utopia is there for their customers for every need they may have. Im Also sorry some find the need to bash instead of becoming educated or asking for advice. Also the Piercer in Danvers is there Tuesday through Sunday
