Blue Moon Tattoo & Body Piercing

Got my 1st two tattoos today with my daughters. Great atmosphere and awesome place. Lupe was does great work. Jessica is amazing.

Cesily did my tattoo and did excellent! The shop was clean and everyone was friendly! 10/10 experience.

My tattoo was done by Jessica, the shop owner. This was done 2 years ago and the photos from today show that it is still extremely vibrant and colorful. I was very happy with the work!

Called this place about piercing’s and the lady wasn’t helpful at all and lack of being personal too. Her words “not sure how to help you.” Like she didn’t have the time of the day to talk with me. When I asked if she knew anyone that did piercings because I was having a hard time finding someone that would call back and that were actually in the building to do them. Just blows my mind the lack effort there. Just not friendly or helpful.

We had a mama/daughter nose piercing date- it was so fun! The atmosphere was so chill , and Jessie was awesome! The New location is perfect!

Matthew Grace did a phenomenal job on my tattoo this weekend! He made sure my sizing and placement were perfect before starting & his work is perfection. Crisp, perfect, thin lines exactly like I wanted. Highly recommend seeing him or any of the artists. The entire place was spotless, you can tell they take sanitation & cleanliness seriously, and the owner/artists were all really cool and talented.

Im new to the area and they were able to fit me in the same day. I sent my image and they were ready with the stencil when I arrived, I didnt have to wait. The shop was clean and comfortable. Im fairly heavily tattooed and I was very pleased with the work and knowledge of the employees. John worked on me and I was very happy with how it came out. Hes light handed and very professional. Ill absolutely go back!

Had a tattoo on the back of my neck that I got years ago that just didn’t represent me anymore. Jessie drew a custom design of a symbol that’s very important to me and worked for hours to cover up the unwanted tattoo through all kinds of circumstances that came up that day. 😯 Jessie is awesome in every way. She is super cool and is so kind and pleasant to be around. I highly recommend her. She’s a great tattoo artist and super person.

This is one of my good friends! tattoo done not even a week ago. This picture was taken one day after the tat. This is the worst tattoo I have ever seen. Colors are bad ( old ink ) lining is way to deep ( meaning tattoo lady went to deep) you can see the infection starting on her leg. The hand writing is so bad. The name in the middle is suppose to say granny its off centered and looks horrible!!! just horrible. 300 dollar for this tattoo is absolutely outrageous for such a bad tattoo.I have shown this tat to 4 tattoo artist including my tattoo Artist. They were blown away. I have 50 dollar tats that looks better than this. Its sad how they took advantage of my friend. And how they wouldnt refund the money. This tattoo is so bad I would want to cover it up or remove it. And that is gonna cost more than the tat itself. Tattoos are for life unless you remove them. For 300 bucks should have been perfect.And almost most tattoo places do not use their own writing unless they have beautiful writing skills. I will be directing and helping my friend take you to small claims court for more than the tattoo costed. Because its going to cost her more to have that monstrosity covered up or removed. So I suggest you do the right thing and call her NOW...

If you’re looking for a wonderful place to get a tattoo, this is it. My last two tattoos were done here . I am very happy with them. I also got my ears pierced twice on one of my trips to the shop. All of my future tattoos will be done here as well.

My daughter and I came in for tattoos, her first. From the moment I walked in the door, everyone was so welcoming. Matt was our artist and he was phenomenal. We had such a good time and I can not recommend Blue Moon enough. Professional, clean, experienced, and kind. I will be back!

Jessica is a fantastic tattoo artist. Her work speaks for itself and its unmatched by other artists in the area. Her lines are super clean and she has great color saturation. She was also pleasant to interact with during the duration of the appointment.

The people are great and very nice and its spotless clean. Not counting the great tattoo work they do. Best around in my opinion. I have plenty of work from Jessica there.

This was my first encounter so take it for what it’s worth. I booked an appointment one week prior for a simple septum piercing. It was $70 including the jewelry, which seemed kinda steep but I didn’t mind it (I’ve had this piercing before in Greensboro, NC and it was $50 for a walk-in, but I was hopeful for this aspiring Danville business). So a week passed and I show up on a Wednesday evening at 6:45 pm (my scheduled appointment time). I walk in the door promptly at 6:45 pm only to be ignored by the staff at the front counter. There were two girls giggling and a guy who I presume to be their employee. After I asked them about by 6:45 pm appointment, he said “oh yeah she tried calling you and said she couldn’t make it in today.” I actually saved her number and I received no incoming calls from her or any local numbers. No voicemails… nothing. One of the girls there snickered “I’ll do it,” and laughed at me. So I don’t want to call these people liars or anything, but they seem to be very unprofessional towards their high paying customers. I will not be back to this shop. I really had high hopes for them.
