Excellent customer service! My daughter got a tattoo here recently. She was treated very well, and was very happy with her finish artwork.

I recently visited The Pokers Club with my kids for a special family experience, and it was nothing short of amazing! It was my kids first tattoo, so I was a bit nervous, but they made us feel completely at ease.The shop is clean, professional, and has a great vibe. Our artist, John, was fantastic—patient, kind, and incredibly skilled. He took the time to explain everything to my kids, making sure they were comfortable and informed every step of the way. The designs turned out perfect, and the attention to detail was outstanding.What really stood out was how the staff went above and beyond to ensure my kids had a positive first tattoo experience. It was clear that they genuinely care about their clients and their work. The whole process was smooth and stress-free, with clear communication and top-notch hygiene practices.Highly recommend!!! We couldnt have asked for a better experience, and we’re all thrilled with our new ink!

I cannot thank Matt enough for what he did for me today. For the past 12 years I’ve been self conscious of my tattoo on my back. I was almost in tears when I saw it what he turned it into. Thank you so much and to everyone there you all were so sweet and welcoming. I felt like a regular even though it was my first time in the shop. I’ll definitely be back for more!

My boyfriend and I received tattoos this week and we love them. The staff are super helpful, nice, and make you feel very welcomed and comfortable. The establishment is decorative and clean. Reasonably priced and done in a timely manner.

John went above and beyond for my friends and I! He was kind, accommodating, and efficient! We (a group of 7) called to get a last minute tattoo (due to the cancellation of Blue Ridge Rock Fest 2023) and not only was John accommodating and willing to do these really nice tattoos after hours for us! The staff were also really amazing as well!

They did a wonderful job on my daughter’s first tattoo, but more than that, they worked so hard to give us a great experience. Not only were they great at what they did, they are also great people as well. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

My first tattoo experience was incredible!!! As it was my first tattoo I wanted a consultation. John Boy was super attentive and didn’t miss a single detail. He explained to me exactly what would be happening during the appointment and made me feel super comfortable! On the day of my appointment I felt so relaxed! He was awesome to work with! So I was scammed by a tattoo artist and they actually gave me the address to The Pokers Club as if they worked there when I went in and asked for the artist they told me it was fake and instead of sending me on my way they made the situation better and today I’m leaving with the PERFECT cover up tattoo!! From the time I entered to sitting in the waiting room to getting my tattoo was a whole VIBE the conversation help take most not all the pain go away a definitely 💯 10/10 will recommend I will post a picture after it heals 🥰

I would highly recommend The Poker’s Club to anyone. I randomly decided a couple of days before my best friends death anniversary that I wanted to get a piece for him done. John had did a piece for one of my friends so she recommended him. I messaged him and he got me in on my friends anniversary. I gave him a couple of things I wanted to add and he put it together perfectly! 10/10 recommend! The atmosphere in there is great! The woman at the front was excellent and is a very good first impression on people! She was so sweet! I will continue to go back to them for my tattoo needs!

Sent a message this morning asking about a tattoo, sent what I was looking for and had an appointment booked shortly after. John Boy was my artist, he explained everything from start to finish and was done in no time. 10/10 recommend this shop.

I saw John about several ideas I have for new tattoos so that each one has its own life meaning but together they all could show a visual of my life experiences, he not only nailed it, but he was very excited to work with the ideas and help expand them so that we have smooth flow between each one! Go get your zoltar tattoos! Matt does a great job and John is pretty awesome too. They take great care of you while youre there so take all your ideas to them. You cant find better than these guys. And Sly is pretty cool too!

I could not have asked for a better experience. I messaged on Facebook about doing a walk-in and they were able to take me in the same day! JohnBoy had the tattoo idea I wanted, drawn up and ready when I got there. Everyone in the shop was awesome and I have already been talking about going back to get some leg work done!

John is an incredible tattoo artist! I brought in a picture, and he added so much detail, making it even better than I imagined. Hes not only talented but also kind and patient, especially for a first-timer like me. Definitely coming back. I highly recommend him - a solid 10/10!

A very spontaneous decision to get a couple of tattoos. My cousin and I decided to get matching opossum tattoos and were given a couple different variations. John Boy tattoo’d us and honestly, he has a great vibe and did a great job making us feel welcomed and relaxed. All the individuals working at the shop were very nice. They make sure you are comfortable and truly want you to have the best experience. From sizing and placement to explaining aftercare, John made sure I was very happy and understood everything. Got my first ever tattoo here with John. I’ve always been scared of needles, but I felt so comfortable at this studio. My experience was amazing. Everyone was so nice and welcoming! Matt did a piece on my stomach and was super nice! Really considerate of my pain tolerance and drew a really nice design! I love my tattoo and the work is beautiful. I’ve been to multiple shops in Danville and I can say this is the BEST place to get a tattoo. Clean environment, good work, and really friendly and kind staff.

Let me tell you… BEST shop in Danville. The atmosphere is great and the people are great! I’ve been to multiple artists and I can say John is most definitely good at what he does! First time going here and definitely won’t be my last! The amount of detail and effort in such a small tattoo is phenomenal.

We were a walk in, there was four of us getting a small matching tattoo. Told them what we wanted they drew it up and did an amazing job. Super friendly and helpful and there for our high jinx! Its a three hour drive from home but well worth it! Great shop!!!

John has been working on my blacking out my arm (not finished yet) but he made a very painful process enjoyable!
