Strange Daze Tattoos

Best place around for piercings and tattoos. Everything is clean and comfy. They really took the time and effort to put the shop and team together. I’ve had two tattoos and three piercings here and they’re always kind and helpful.

Lisa did my tattoo, and she was so gentle and did such a great job! I was blown away by the cleanliness of the shop, and the kindness of staff there. Such a variety of services and they help you decide what youre looking. The art is downright incredible and you wont find a better shop in the area (heck, maybe the state) that is as professional as Strange Daze! Definitely recommend!

I absolutely LOVE Strange Daze. Ive been getting tattoos by Lisa for the last 18 years. Shes kind, talented and beyond knowledgeable. Abbie has done piercings for me and she is incredible. I drive over an hour to come to Strange Daze. Not only are they amazing artists that tattoo - they’re incredible people. I love the family atmosphere and they welcome you like you are a part of their family. Lisa is the BEST but everything I’ve seen done here is high quality. I’ll go nowhere else, even if I move farther away at some point. I can’t really say enough positive things about the establishment and their people.

I love my tattoos I’ve gotten from Strange Daze! They helped me get the exact tattoo that I wanted, in the exact place that was perfect for me! I’ve gotten tattoos from 3 of the 5 artists, and I couldn’t be happier with their work! I’ve also gotten piercings from the lovely Evie, and she also helped me get the exact placement! The shop is very clean, and everyone who works there is very friendly, and very talented!

Long story short, Im out $100 with no piercing, trauma to my septum, and the shop was unwilling to work with me.Ive had my septum done for 2 years. Ive changed it out before. It was great. I took it out to swap jewlery and couldnt find the opening .I went into the shop cause it had been almost 48 hrs and I was worried it closed. On 7/25 After 2 separate people said it was closed I opted to get it re done. I needed it to heal enough to flip up before our trip was over and I would return to work. ( It would give me about 8 days). I specifically mentioned I have to have one wide enough to flip up. After getting my septum done ( which this time hurt more than any piercing Ive ever done ) I was told I had a bump in my left nostril and to watch it . To be careful the piercing didnt migrate and that it would straighten up after it healed. Today, 7/30 I went back in to have it looked at. I mentioned it was still bleeding, and that its not at all any closer to straight. It was confirmed its absolutely crooked and that it went through my cartlidge. They did offer to widen the one I had in for me , to flip it up. But its still in the wrong spot, so I didnt go that route. They also offered to re pierce it after it healed, but we are only in town to visit. I did ask if there was anyway to receive some compensation since it was pierced incorrectly and nothing I did. I was informed that isnt an option but they would wave the fee for the removal. The person who handled everything today was absolutely sweet and Im in no way upset with them. I am frustrated that Im out almost $100 with nothing to show for it because they did it incorrectly , and refused to reimburse me ( even partially )for their mistake since I live out of state.The angle is terrible, but the attached picture is the only one I have.

Me and my daughter absolutely loves this place. Amazing people with a nice comfortable environment. I took my daughter here for her first tattoo and now she has gotten two more. I dont think she would ever go anywhere else. I myself have gotten two tattoos here and look forward to getting more. I definitely would not go anywhere else.My daughter has also had piercing done here so if you want a piercing or a tattoo, this is the place to go. I give it absolutely four stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was introduced to Lisa by my mother in law who had been going to her for YEARS! Lisa is amazing, knowledgeable, and professional! After my first tattoo (at a different shop) I was hesitant to get another because of an awful experience; Lisa put all my fears to rest and I’ve gotten multiple tattoos from her since! I absolutely adore her, and everyone at her shop is so nice and accommodating. I will only ever want to go to Strange Daze for any tattoo/piercing I will get in the future! I highly recommend them to anyone who asks.

Lisa is the only tattoo artist that does my work. I have been going to her for years but have known he since Tribal Image in Lapeer. And I TRUST her with any design she put on me. And if I want to change something she is quick to change it. The shop treats you like family and also love how her family literally works there. If I could give this place more stars I would.

My daughter got her ears pierced at a Claire’s and the earrings were tiny and one ended up with the jewel inside my daughters closed up earing hole. I did have to bring her birth certificate and picture ID for us both but Shia was super professional and knowledgeable about which type of earrings to go with and she had my girl all fixed up in minutes. What could have been a painful ordeal resulting in a loss of the piercing ended with relief and cute new earrings that are comfortable. She also gave us thorough instructions to help it heal better. This momma is grateful! We will be returning for Shia for any future piercings 🥰

I just got my first tattoo from here and they were absolutely amazing! Chang did a fantastic job and was so patient with me because I was super nervous. They let me take a break when I needed and talked me through everything. They did recommend numbing cream which I bought from them during my consultation that I did use and I honestly barely felt a thing, I would totally Recommend them to anyone! I love my tattoo!

Lisa Strange is the only tattoo artist that I will let touch me. Shes done 6 of my 8 tattoos and fixed a major screw up on a 7th. Her work is phenomenal, and her shop is spotless!

I wanted to take a moment to express great gratitude to Evie Victoriart! I went here today to get my daughters ears pierced. Evie was fun, patient, and very professional. She did not have an issue with my daughters age, made it fun for her. Gave her a squishy dumpling to hold on to during the piercing, I would recommend Evie to anyone who would like their kids ears pierced correctly. The piercers here, specifically Evie Victoria, went absolutely above and beyond. I had a seizure and was in the hospital for 3 days and they had removed my piercings for an MRI.I was so worried about my eyebrow and my philtrum/medusa piercings closing and Evie was able to not only get all of my jewelry back in, but she did so gently as well. Overall I had a very comfortable experience and was so glad Evie was able to save my piercings for me when my usual shop turned me down and wanted more money.Thank you Evie and Strange Daze! Its a huge comfort when a shop can help with an emergency situation like this. As someone who has a lot of piercings and spent a lot of money and time caring for them, it means a lot!!!

This is probably the nicest tattoo shop Ive ever been in. I loved Abbie, who did my tattoo. She did an amazing job and was super sweet and easy to talk to. Plus, they do free touch-ups on their work. Im so glad that I found this place.

Evie has been so helpful and kind! My high nostrils piercings had both bumps on them and she recommended tea tree oil and they were gone in two days! After my piercings were healed (from another store not done by her) she was able to put on my high nostril chain!Thank you so much and really had a great experience due to her.

Abby is what made me trust this place. I had a really bad piercing done with those outside threaded earrings at another place in Lapeer. And they swelled up bad to where they were swallowing the earrings, but couldnt get in to get them out. I called Strange Daze and Abby who didnt have to at all, helped out and took out the piercings...I was super nervous she wouldnt be able to. She corrected another piercer from another shops mistake, and helped me with aftercare instructions that got the really bad infection down in less than 24 hrs. So...I would totally recommend Abby to pierce, shes so nice and helpful!!I have also had tattoos from Kade, and hes amazing! Hes been able to get me in short notice when I needed absolute ink therapy. Hes has also dealt with one tattoo where I was extremely picky on lettering/style. Hes very patient, and knows exactly what will look good and recommend a few details to make what I want even better. I have a few more tattoos booked with him, and cant wait. Totally recommend booking with Kade.My friend also goes here to Lisa Strange. And she says all her tattoos have come out great.This is a family run business..and they relay that feeling to the customer. Chang is amazing!! We were able to bring him a few ideas of what we wanted and he was able tattoo them perfectly. My husbands looks better than the picture and he was able to customize it right on the spot to exactly what my husband wanted. Want a new tattoo??? Go see Chang!

Abbie did my daughters septum piercing and she was awesome! So professional and kind, and when my daughter almost passed out (fear of needles) Abbie gave her water, a glucose tablet, a cold towel to the back of her neck, and put her feet up. She was absolutely prepared for anything! She was literally the sweetest person either of us have ever met!

So my mom and I got our son and mother tattoo today and the artist was Abby.she did a amazing job on it and work with us very well on our design and what we wanted.I will recommend everyone to go see Abby.

I got my nostril piercing done by Breezy almost 11 months ago, she did it very well, so I decided to go back to get my septum pierced by her in June. I was pretty anxious going in because I watched many videos beforehand and didn’t want to be pierced incorrectly, but she made me feel very comfortable, and did an amazing job! The piercing is straight and most definitely in my sweet spot. I haven’t had any problems with it and I’m very happy with both piercings I’ve had done by her. If anyone mentions wanting a piercing or tattoo I recommend them to Strange Daze! If I decide on getting any new piercings, or eventually a tattoo, I will definitely go back there! :)

I decided to go in to have a piercing done and had Breezy. She’s such a sweetheart! We went over and looked at some jewelry, and I had her pick something out for me, (which I’m not too terribly picky and think I kind of threw her off for a moment, lol)... So we agreed on what she had picked out and walked me through the process on after care...After a few minutes as she had to go in the back to sterilize the jewelry and whatnot, she called me in the back and then went ahead and explained the details and once I was ready, performed the process.Nothing at all what I had expected and everything she said was true! Didn’t hurt as bad as I thought!I highly recommend this place! Breezy is awesome and if you’re on the fence on piercings, just do it and go see her... You’ll be glad you did! I’ll definitely be back for another tattoo as well. All the staff I had seen yesterday are very nice. Thank you Breezy and the Strange Daze staff!

My piercing experience was amazing. Both women I spoke with were very nice and accommodating. The parlor is so clean and very adorably decorated. Breezy was super informative and made sure I knew everything I needed to about what was going to happen and how to care for my new piercings. I will absolutely be going back for any future piercing needs.

The experience at Strange Daze Tattoos was nothing less than spectacular. From the first step in the building it is apparent the space is spotless; the lobby is bright, and the front staff is always welcoming. I have had work done by both Abby and Breezy. They are both meticulous in the details, friendly, and empathetic. I have been pleased with their work, excited to come back for more work, and impressed with the level of professionalism and creativity they have both offered me.

Dave did my tattoo. I brought in my own art but it needed a couple of fixes, which he was about to do freehand. The work was done meticulously, the lines are crisp, shadows perfect, and was completed fairly quickly. Ive known Dave for years, and am familiar with his work. Hes a natural artist. Hes the only one I want doing my tattoos. The parlor was clean and cozy, and everyone was wonderful. Great atmosphere.

Brought my 8 yr. Old daughter here to finally get her ears pierced and the new place is amazing. I went to Lisa for my first tattoo, it was for my dad, who I am very close with, so it was very special to me. She was amazing and the finished piece was better than anything I could have thought! Her shading is perfect and she’s very professional and fun. I will be back very soon (for a coverup of a tattoo done by an artist that was high!). Lisa has tattooed me for going on eleven years now, and Ive never met another artist who is both so talented and personable in my life. Her shop is great, comfortable and clean. This is an amazing shop with a great atmosphere. Zach is in the process of doing my flower tattoo and I will definitely be going back to him in the future! I went in with a bunch of photos of what I was thinking and couldnt really articulate what I wanted, but he put them together to create a beautiful piece for me. Such a unique shop! Professional, clean, and kind. Helley started the experience off great every time and was super knowledgeable and sweet. David Gray provided a phenomenal addition to my body art collection, and I would highly reccomend them to anyone looking for great art! I have always felt awkward walking into tattoo shops, until I walked into Strange Daze. Everyone is awesome! Lisa has done all but one of my tattoos, and I will not be going anywhere else again! Her artwork is amazing!

I got my nose pierced in January and was very satisfied with the experience, so I decided to go back to get my bellybutton pierced. I waited nearly a month for my appointment, just to show up for them to tell me my bellybutton isn’t piercable. That same day I scheduled an appointment at Electric chair in Clio for the next day and they did an amazing job. They didn’t mention anything about my bellybutton being unpiercable.

I went to Strange Daze for a single tattoo in mid 2012, and since then I have had nearly 30 hours worth of additional tattoos. Lisa Strange has a terrific eye, a gentle touch, and a keen sense of color and perspective. The shop is clean, professional, and always fun.

My sister and I went to Helley for a tragus and nostril piercing. Helley was kind, quick, and professional. The shop was organized and extremely clean. They definitely set themselves above other shops! We will be going back for any future piercings!

I started to go to Lisa after my parents went to her when she was at a different shop. And when she moved not only did I follow her, but my parents and my sister did, too. After being in her shop, all other tattoo shops seem different. Strange Daze is a clean place, everyone is friendly and I would recommend anyone to go to any artist, because she does her job very well and we know she wouldnt hire anyone that was bad. She and the other artists are helpful when it comes to design ideas and placement. If they dont think something will look good they will suggest doing something else. I will only go to Strange Daze for tattoos...I wish my friends would listen to me and go there, too.

Ive been a semi regular at Strange Daze for about two years now. I have a couple tattoos from Kyle and one from Lisa, though I would trust anyone there. I love them all and I would continue going back. Very clean, friendly and inviting!

Made an appointment for my 7 year old to have have her ears pierced, and Abby did a fantastic job! The establishment was clean, staff was professional, and Abby had the tv on to aid in the youngsters distraction. Abby explained everything very thoroughly to us and even explained things to my daughter so that she understood the healing process and what to expect with the piercing. I highly recommend. Just remember- bring all necessary documents i.e, school photo of child w/name and birth certificate.

Been wanting to get a tattoo for quite awhile but never really knew what I wanted and was very nervous about finding the right person to do it. Lisa is an extremely nice person, and I enjoyed my time when she tattooed me, but my end result was not good. She did a cover up, and the old tattoo is still there clear as day, and the other piece she did for me looked faded after about a month. I am sure she would have fixed it if I had asked, but I didnt, so that is on me.

Very happy with my random stop here. Googled looking for a place to get new hoops for my nose. Not your typical biker tattoo parlor at all! Very nice AND clean, well organized with private rooms.. walking in for the first time it seemed like an upscale beauty shop (.they should partner with a good hair stylist and really expand their business.) Only thing is why do tattoo shops just have to portray witches and skulls and such? would have went with the ambiance to have seen some displays of pretty tattoo art as well...many younger people are into ink but like portraits, flowers, koi, cartoon characters ect..other art besides witches and skulls.

Awesome place, clean and great vibe to it! Sometimes tattoo parlors can be sketchy this place is legit with great employees from the girl at the front desk to the talented artist like David gray who did my work!! Friendly and professional place.

Very clean, good atmosphere, only complaint is that the placement of my second lobe piercing was a little higher than I would have liked, but thats on me for not telling her to put it higher when she drew the dot before piercing it.

I had tattoo done by Dave. He was amazing so gentle to the touch! My tattoo is absolutely what I wanted it is beautiful what a great job I highly recommend Strange Days to anybody looking for a professional unique tattoo!

Breezy Tucker is a fantastic artist and so kind. I love my new ink. The whole place is covered in cool art, the lobby has excellent coffee, 100% satisfied.

After two attempts to get a septum piercing straight I still went home with it crooked. Took it out, let it heal, and went to another place where it was out in perfectly in the first try.Two stars because they did do my daughters septum well.

Awesome. The artist was amazing. They dont charge too much and they make sure that youre comfortable.

I walked into this place hoping that they would be able to do my first tattoo. They were very rude when I was trying to explain what I wanted done. They then continued to charge me $100 for a very simple and small writing on my wrist. I would not recommend this place to anyone that I know.

I was a regular customer at Strange Daze until my last visit. I wanted a simple quote on my shoulder and while I was trying to explain what I wanted he cut me off and refused to put the quote where I wanted and in the font I wanted because it would be ugly and he wont tattoo things that he doesnt like because he is an artist. Im sorry, the skull you have tattooed right on your neck is way cooler, my mistake. I thought this was going to be on my body forever, not his. Every person who picks up a needle suddenly think they are Picasso or something. This guy is the perfect example. Its sad that one person can ruin an entire experience.

Zach killed it! Came up with a great tattoo on the spot (after waiting forever with covid and how busy he is)! One hell of an artist and tattoo artist! I will definitely be going back to him for every one I get!
