I recently went here to get a walk in tattoo. I wanted a small tattoo and wanted to combine to similar images. I spoke on the phone with Jade and the whole process was very quick and easy. During the tattoo, Jade was very professional and nice. For getting a walk in tattoo, Jade was super understanding with what I wanted and I love the tattoo that I got, will definitely be coming back here for more!

I’m in Florida because my Dad passed away and asked my Mother to google tattoo places I was considering getting an infinity tattoo/pancreatic cancer memory of my Dad. Black Rose has great reviews and was highly rated! We went there the place was immaculate and we met tattoo artist Erik Dennis I showed him what I was considering he took the time and made some adjustments and it came out PERFECT!!! I love it so much I decided to go back and have him go over a tattoo that I’ve had for years, and now it looks like an entirely different tattoo THANK YOU ERIK!!! I would highly recommend him and next year when I come back my husband will be going with me ✌🏻

This tattoo was actually done a while ago but apparently the rating never went through. The shop was clean, everyone was friendly and professional. I wanted to celebrate being one-year cancer free. The gentleman who completed the tattoo did a perfect job. He was sensitive and caring.

Great experience with this shop, and my artist, Nomo. The shop is very clean, and organized. This was a memorial tattoo, and she put a lot of thought and effort into the design based on the inspiration photo. The location is under arm across ribs, her application was very gentle in this notoriously painful spot, and much faster than expected . Aftercare was explained in detail, and I had no scabbing or other issues while healing.

Great experience! Aquiles was excellent to work with, designing my tattoo and making modifications as requested. And he was very patient. The tattoo turned out identical to the design. Jade did my first tattoo and she was also excellent to work with, showing me several designs based on my general idea of what I wanted/. The shop is clean and has a cool atmosphere. Prices were very reasonable.

I went to this studio for the first time recently and am very happy, especially with Jade! Ive followed this studio and its artists on Instagram for a few years and finally reached out to Jade for scheduling. It was short notice - less than a week in advance - and she responded quickly and politely with her availability and was able to get me in. She was so friendly and patient with good communication and did a perfect job with our tattoos.

Erik Dennis, blew me away as my tattoo artist. He has 19 years of experience, incredible communication and truly cares. My daughter wanted a tattoo for her 18th birthday and asked me to get another one so I could go with her. After much research, I chose BR. Luckily, I was matched up with Erik as I wanted a black out Tribal piece for my back as well as an update of my half sleeve. My daughter created a unique piece and it came out so well, she’s just can’t stop talking about it and is getting non-stop compliments. The time and attention made me feel that not only was I getting the highest quality artist, but one that knows inside and out how to design, plan, prep, have an enjoyable session and detailed post care follow up. If you are planning something important to ink, you need to speak to Erik.

The Black Rose tattoo studio is excellent and very clean and everyone that works there is very friendly and professional. I saw tattoo artist Nomo who was great and then I saw tattoo artist Erik who was awesome, very cool and friendly and does amazing work. This is the place to go if you want a tattoo and a great experience.

This was my first tattoo, so I was a bit apprehensive. But Erik helped me through from the whole process. He answered all my initial questions thru email and I sent him my design ideas. When I showed up, he had the perfect tattoo design ready and waiting. He was very patient and answered all my questions. And in the end, he created a piece of art that was more beautiful than I even imagined. Thank you Erik!

Absolute best tattoo shop. The environment is always super comfortable which is really important to me and really good vibes overall. I came and worked with Aquiles and have returned two more times with my sister. Aquiles always captures our vision perfectly, executes it beautifully, and is an overall great and kind person and we always leave feeling more than happy. Any tattoo I get will be with him and I highly recommend as everyone in the shop also has an amazing attitude.

This place is the best. There’s really no other words to it. Welcoming is one of the my favorite parts about this place, but my favorite of them all is how passionate and excited these artists are to perform work on their Clients. Got my first tat from Max, who is visiting from South Africa. Very nice guy and explained the procedure and everything along the way. It wasnt an easy tattoo either. Highly recommended! Hes only here 2-3x a year, call ahead if youre interested.

I would give them 10 stars but it stops at 5. This is the only place to go to get a Tattoo. Dave Meth did a fantastic job on my tattoo from 12 years ago to make it look not only perfect but so new that you would never know. This is the only place i will get my work done in the future.

Great place, amazing service, felt welcome and comfortable to get my first tattoo. Gils work is unmatched, cannot believe how well he was able to translate the art from the canvas to my arm. Cannot wait to get my second one!

The owner Gilbert is amazing. My sleeve tattoo came out looking perfect! The lines, detail and shading were just 100% flawless. Gilbert killed it! I spent a total of around 30-35 hours in this shop getting my work done and from what I see, all the other artist is top of the line too, and on top of that very friendly. You will have a good experience!

This place is really great! Got my first tattoo here today, and (in my novice opinion) it was an amazing experience. The place is clean, the people are friendly and conversational, and my artist, Erik, was phenomenal. He took my ideas and put his own creative twists on them and the tattoos came out great!

I’ve been using Gil at Black Rose since before the place even opened. This is the only place that has ever done any tattoos on me. Gil in my opinion is one of the best Tattoo artists in South Florida. His prices are so fair and he work and attention to detail is amazing. USE THEM for all you tattoo and piercing needs.

Dave was amazing!! He made me feel completely comfortable and at ease for my first tattoo. Black Rose is a phenomenal tattoo and piercing shop. The artists are patient, talented and just all around good people. I have gotten 2 tattoos here and 3 touch ups and have left satisfied every time. The artists prioritize what you want, but arent afraid to tell you what will and wont work with a tattoo (which makes your tattoo last longer when you follow their advice). I highly recommend getting tattooed here.

Hallie Brooks is AMAZING! i got a row of 6 shark teeth of different species and she was so attentive about what i wanted, and when i got there she had even taken time out of her day to prep and find pictures herself of what i described what i wanted. the whole process was smooth, easy, and fun! she really made me feel comfortable and i definitely noticed how clean everything was, and how she cleaned as she prepped. if you’re thinking of getting a tattoo i HIGHLY recommend end her! i will definitely be back to add on to my tattoo and will request her specifically :)

Jamie totally revamped my 10 yr old tats that had faded away. The panda tattoo came out the best! She actually made it look like a panda!The location is easy to find and very clean. Great vibes and great people! So glad I found them. Would definitely recommend!

Dave did such a good job on my piece. I would highly recommend him he does amazing work and works clean and quickly. This was my first tattoo and my experience was painless. At the end he made sure to answer any questions I had regarding after care and now its all healed up beautifully.

I absolutely LOVE this place. Jamie has done three of my tattoos and has exceeded my expectations every time!! I usually get a little nervous before my tattoos, and she always makes sure i’m feeling comfortable and makes sure i’m all good. Amazing experience! My artist was Hallie, she worked wonderfully! I got a Phoenix done on my right upper thigh, and it was amazing. She’s fun to be around, did a great job, and she’s hilarious. I went with my sisters and cousin to get tattooed at Black Rose Tattoo Studio. Since this was my FIRST one, I was a bit nervous. However, upon meeting Erik Dennis, he immediately made us feel very comfortable about his artistry and techniques. His personality won us over right away. I got 3 tattoos within 3 months from Katie! My favorite thing about Black Rose is the family type environment. As each artist is working, the others are cheering them on and checking in on their work. I love how they’re all amazed by each other. Regardless of who is doing your work, everyone is so friendly and makes you feel comfortable. Getting a tattoo can be super intimidating so the environment the shop creates is so important. I would go here time and time again and can’t recommend it enough :)

Worked with the artist Hallie. Her work is amazing and her lines are really straight and clean. Shading is amazing and her personality is even better! She was really fun to be around and we talked throughout the entire session. She’s sweet and I’ll definitely be back for another tattoo!

What a great place. Jimmy Tomes did such an amazing job for my first tattoo. I came in with my family(7) wanting identical tattoos and he did just that. The environment in here is just so inviting and friendly. All of the staff was great to talk to for our long wait. This tattoo shop was awesome. I went in with my dad as a walk in on a Saturday. He was interested in getting a custom design and wanted to check the place out after finding it online. Rod & Paris were very helpful and super friendly. They answered all of our questions and made us feel comfortable.After talking with Paris, I ended up getting a small cross tattoo on my wrist that I’ve been wanting for awhile. She was very meticulous even with my simple design. She took the time to make sure the outline was perfectly placed before starting (as if she herself was the one getting it) I know some people think that’s “expected” of a tattoo artist but you’d be surprised. After going with my older sister to a different shop (not the best experience) Paris was definitely above par. Would recommend this shop 10/10!

I loved coming into this shop. The environment is always clean, professional and very welcoming. Came in with a group of 4 girls to each get a very small tattoo. We made a reservation ahead of time but the artist was in contact with us the entire time to let us know that we could swing by early if we wanted and afterwards to remind us of care instructions. The entire experience was enjoyable. Not to mention my favorite tattoo was done by Gil almost 10 years ago. 100% recommend !

Dave was the best! He was very patient during what turned out to be an 8 hour day since my boyfriend and I decided to get more tattoos than originally planned. He made the whole experience seamless and was extremely accommodating. We will definitely be returning in the future.

This was my first time getting a tattoo, and I could not recommend Jamie Goodspeed more. I was super nervous and unsure of what I wanted, so I put my faith in Jamie and she went above and beyond. She is a talented artist who can bring your ideas to life. I will definitely be getting more tattoos from her in the future!!!

Hallie is hands down the best tattoo artist I have ever been to. Hallie did my lion tattoo for my arm (sleeve tattoo) and I will always be coming back to her. She has a light hand, great conversation, lines are clean and the shading is phenomenal. Gil, the owner, is hilarious and such a great guy. You can’t go wrong with either Gil or Hallie.

Ive had 2 tattoos done by Chelsie and I love them both! Shes an incredible artist, I get compliments ALL the time. For one, I went to her with 0 pictures and just an idea in my head and the first sketch she drew was EXACTLY what I had described/pictured in my head. She totally knew what I wanted! Shes also super easy to work with in terms of tweaking certain aspects of a design. Not only is she a great artist shes an awesome person too! Wouldnt want to sit and talk to anyone else for 5 hours in immense pain, shes super personable and really considerate and kept reminding me to breathe and making sure I was okay. Ive recommended her and Black Rose to several people already and will continue to! Already booked my next appointments.

Hallie is an angel! It was my friend’s first time getting a tattoo and she was super chill and patient with her. She made us laugh, and made sure the tattoo was perfect before starting on it. The quality was wonderful and fairly priced! It turned out exactly how she wanted it. We will definitely go back to her!

My friend and I were on vacation in Florida for 3 days and wanted to get tattoos. Eric Dennis did our tattoos. He did a fantastic job. He took his time and made sure everything was perfect. Even came in on his day off for us and gave me his sandwich so I wouldn’t pass out lol. Highly highly recommend Eric if you want an awesome tattoo!!

With Gil he is honorable, a perfectionist, well organized and a great tattoo artist. This was my first large tattoo and it was to his discretion to come up with my design with a little direction from me and man is it awsome, with great detail as I wanted. My girl is tatted and she loved it. He is a great shop owner who run a well organized, respectful shop always clean, and willing to teach others.

Ive been coming here for the past 3 years; and Ive always been going back to Dave. Hes done majority of my ink. He is so professional and genuine. The entire team at Black Rose are brilliant at what they do. If ever someone asks me for suggestions on where to get new tattoos, I always send them to Black Rose. Jimmy Tomes is a skilled and creative professional. He met with me several times to design a large color leg piece for me, and he made the whole process fun and productive. He is punctual for appointments and a good communicator, and I was impressed by his attention to detail and hygiene. Everyone in the studio is pleasant and add to the overall experience of getting a multi-session tattoo. I recommend this studio, and especially Jimmy to everyone who admire my new tattoo. I really would not go anywhere else.

So a tattoo is a big decision for most. This is a great place to get one. Everyone is super nice and the environment is really awesome. Gilbert is one of the most talented artists Ive met. His creativity and ability to just take what you give him and morph it into this amazing piece of art is mind blowing. Or if you just want what youve got, he can do that too. Hands down the best tattoo shop in the area Ive dealt with. I was reluctant to get another tattoo since my last experience with another shop was not good. I saw Gil. He was extremely patient and tech. savvy with state of the art equipment and inks. He designed a beautiful tattoo that not only looked spectacular. But corrected the poor appearance of the last shops tattoo. During my 6 hour session with Gil. I was able to observe the other artists at work as well as interact with them. All were very attentive to their clients at all times and great at managing the shops many walk-ins. Even the apprentice there was able to attend to walk-ins and assist in a very professional way. Before I left the shop. They of course briefed me on the care of my new tattoo. But also provided me a great after care kit and very nice shirt. Other shops Ive used charges for the products. And didnt show the interest in your after care as did The Black Rose. Im already planning my next tattoo with them. I can assure you you will not be disappointed.

Hallie did my tattoo. She’s super dope and nice af! Literally sent her a few ideas and she turned my half sleeve into a masterpiece. She got the vision just by me explaining my goal. Everyone in the shop is super cool. Super chilled and friendly environment. I love coming here. 10/10 recommend.

Everyone was so nice & welcoming, also a very clean atmosphere. Dave, my tattoo artist, was awesome and very helpful! I was feeling very faint from not eating prior to coming in and he helped and made me feel safe! Definitely coming back here again and if you come in, request Dave!!

Best tattoo experience Ive ever had. Jimmy is extremely talented and professional. I wouldnt think about going to anyone else after the experience I had. The shop closes at 10 and Jimmy stayed until midnight finishing my tat. Trust me, Ive been to a lot of tattoo shops and Black Rose is the place to go.Jimmy will be getting a lot more customers after the amazing job he did on my tat. Theres a reason why this shop has 4.9 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My experience here has always been amazing! Gil is not only professional and talented, but hilarious and always a pleasure to get tattooed by! About 3 weeks ago Erik Dennis did mine and my fathers matching tattoos. We loved how they came out. When I was getting my tattoo done, Erik would make sure that I was alright and that he wasn’t putting too much pressure on my back. He had us laughing the entire time. 10/10 would recommend.

Vanessa is the sweetest and most amazing artist I have ever had the pleasure of getting inked by.She will go out of her way to make sure the piece is perfect, no matter what. The BEST place to get your tattoos. After I got my first tattoo here I knew I wouldn’t be going anywhere else. All the artists here do such an amazing job. It’s crazy. I was reminded of this seriously talented artist when I saw several people talking about him on social media. Gil is the real deal people. It was time for me to get this tattoo art piece I’ve planned now that I found Gil! I was able to sit for about 9 hours because of his skill and method. I think his experience as a martial artist and being a daddy of two baby girls really gives him the perfect energy for touch and pressure. Incredible how he covered my back when finished and I healed perfectly. The shop is so clean, so professional and I was totally entertained by the great personalities of the artists that work there ha! No question that Gil will tattoo any future body art for me. This shop was absolutely fantastic. I went with my friend to get her tattoo and they took great care of us. We had to wait a little bit for the appointment in front of us but Mike was super apologetic and offered to buy us pizza for the wait! He really worked with her on designing her piece and the end result was fantastic. Mike was really down to earth and I absolutely recommend this shop!

Id been wanting to get another tattoo for a few weeks and randomly decided to go in on my day off. I am beyond happy with this decision.This place is amazing. Despite being busy they were able to accommodate me on short notice. The staff is laid back and friendly, it felt like we were all just sort of hanging out.Erik did my tattoo and he was amazing. I showed him basically what I wanted and where and he gave me some imput on size and exact placement and it was spot on. I am very happy with the final result. He was friendly and efficient. When I looked down and saw that we were done I was suprised, i figured we were only halfway done. Additionally he was just a cool dude which was nice. If im going to spend an hour or so with a person who is also causing me mild pain it helps if I generally like them.I would definitely recommend Blackrose in general and Erik specifically.

Both my mom and I got tattoos by Dave Meth and what a stellar job he did. The shop is clean, fairly welcoming and located in a decent spot. Like any business, there are minor things that may pop up here and there. But, the goods far outweigh any negatives. The care that each artist puts forth during and after the tattoo seems to be unmatched by any shop in the area. Highly recommended.

I recently moved down to boca and have been looking for a tattoo shop. i will not be looking anymore after coming to black rose tattoo!! i got a very small, simple snail on my hip and it turned out better than i could have expected! I had my tattoo done on May 22, I have a ying yang on my ankle that is over 30 yrs old, I wanted to spruce it up, but not cover up, my Dad & I have the same tatt, he passed away 11 yrs ago, so it is very special. I showed a picture of a lotus flower around a ying yang, guess what-JACKPOT, I got Max. So, Max was leaving to go back to South Africa, the very day of my tattoo. He is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met, not to mention a fabulous tattoo artist. My spruced up tatt is beautiful & I have received many compliments. I cannot forget about Eric. Another awesome human being. The 3 of us talked non stop for almost the 2 hours I was there. Felt like old friends. Very talented artists, very kind & down to earth. I had a session with Dave Meth today, and it couldnt have gone better! He is very accommodating, and a great conversationalist. He has a very gentle hand, and even though my tattoo ran directly along my spine, I had very little discomfort. On top of that, the lines are crisp and clean, and the design came out beautifully! Im very excited to add more pieces with Dave, and work with him on future tattoo designs.

I went to Black Rose for their Friday the 13th flash and although it took a long time to get through the line I liked how it was because the artists were actually taking their time and making sure the work looked good. They didn’t treat them like they 20/40 dollar tattoos; no rushing, making sure you liked the positioning, etc. Also Alison (not sure how you spell it) made sure to give everyone the paperwork while in line to speed up the process. Good experience.

I was recommended to Chelsie by a friend and after stalking her Instagram page I knew she was the one to do my watercolor tattoo. I normally get my tattoos in places that are easy to cover but for this one I wanted it really visible (it’s on my forearm) so I wanted to make sure the line work and watercolor was on point. I was not disappointed!!! All the lines are super crisp, the watercolor is beautiful and I have never been so obsessed with a tattoo (and I have 10). Chelsie took her time designing the piece and was super personable the whole time she was doing it. I get so many compliments from friends and strangers and I always make sure to tell them to go see Chelsie!!!

Went into Black Rose to get some poppies tattooed. Shop was super clean and Brandon was our artist. I was indecisive about the placement and if I wanted a black and grey or color. Got 6 tattoos done on black Friday 5/13.A few family friends have been recommending this place for years. I finally got the time and money to go and get a few new pieces. Erik was amazing, he was very light handed so the pain was minimal, the healing has been so good so far, he told me to follow up with him after a week to check on the healing process and see if any touch up is needed.Everyone in the shop is hilarious and all very professional. Today I made a visit to black rose tattoo shop with one of very close friends. We both got tattoos of our animals names. Paris helped fulfill our visons for our tattoos. She was very helpful with taking us to find the perfect font and size for us! Her perfectionist attitude made sure our lines were neat and full, I really appreciated her going back one last time to make sure everything was good for me. Chelsie is AWESOME. She was very welcoming during my first visit and made me very excited to return to her chair. She really delivered on both smaller pieces that I got from her over those first few weeks.... which helped me decide to really go for it and get a neck tattoo Id always wanted! Her blackwork and dotwork are gorgeous, and she does a fantastic job of listening to your vision to give you a piece of art you really love. I even had her do a cover-up on my chest which came out great, and right before my wedding too! (Talk about trust!! ^_^) I plan on sitting in her chair a lot more in the near future, and I have no doubt that everything I get from her will be precise and lovely. Just got a new tattoo at Black Rose a few days ago. I went online prior to going to get a feel for the shop. I didnt read any bad reviews, so I decided to stop by for an in person consultation. When I got there, 1 artist was with a customer and the other 2 were having lunch. When I walked in one of the artist greeted me and immediately stop eating and asked me if I could be helped. The shop was clean and organized. I was referred to Paris who was very calm and had a very shy demeanor. She explained the process and we agreed on a price. After the tattoo was done and covered, the ink was running a little and I wasnt sure how it was going to look in 48 hours.Two days later after taking off the covering I was EXTREMELY pleased with the result....For those people looking for a tattoo,I would recommend Black Rose Tattoo....Check out the shop and talk to the artist !!!Thanx Paris..

Loved this place!! Right when we walked in I felt positive vibes. My fiancé got tattooed by Jimmy, and his cousin, husband and I got tattooed by Tom. Everyone there was so nice and we got free t-shirts. Everything was great about this place, and they even said we could come back and get touched up in a few weeks. Overcharged for two 3cm tattoos. 230$ for both; was told tattoos would be amazing with the lady who did my tattoo, but the line-work was uneven, blotchy, and pricey. The tattoos meant something very special and I felt like the staff took advantage of me during a tough time.

Dave Meth has given me incredible works of art over the last 2 years and I plan on going back again very soon for another ! His expertise, attention to detail and really amazing attitude keeps me coming back! He gave me my first ever watercolor and I get compliments on it daily! Really amazing artist and guy! Everyone should definitely book him!

I got my first tattoo from here and I love it! I got it from Dave Meth and he was great, he was really nice and understood what I wanted. Dave let me walk in and took me in right at the last minute. He’s a great artist and if you’re unsure about a design, take a look on their boards in the shop!

My boyfriend and I have gotten a few tattoos by Jimmy and hes amazing. His work is always perfect. Everyone at the shop Is friendly and the shop is always clean which is important to me. I always get compliments on my ink and I am happy to refer everyone there. I will continue to be loyal to this shop only!!!

Gilbert is so talented, along with that he really listens to you & wants your happiness at the end. I would definitely recommend him & the shop! I have sent my family to him. Hallie Brooks is the absolute best! This was my first time getting a tattoo I have been wanting for 8 years now! I messaged her on instagram and she worked with me since day 1. When I got to the shop, she was so funny, attentive, and made me feel as if this was actually my 12th tattoo lol! I was especially nervous about it hurting but it barely did, she made it seem as if it was a cat scratch! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND her if you are thinking about getting your tattoo done here. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I am for sure coming back to her.

Very clean shop. Friendly people. Rod was the tattoo artist that worked on me. I got a simple tattoo but is very difficult which is composed of a symbol of several symmetrical straight lines. Not beloved by tattoo artists but Rod did a great job. Lines are even, straight, not blurry and looks great. Rod was very attentive to detail with the final touches and made sure it was perfect. Great job brother. I would recommend to anyone and will go back to him for my next ink.

My dad got his first tattoo with Pepe here. Turned out so great. He was really able to capture the vision that my father wanted for the tattoo. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for something specialized and fits just what they want. Cool and clean shop!

Got a tattoo done by Jimmy, best experience at a tattoo shop I’ve ever had. Not only was Jimmy super professional and made sure my tattoo came out exactly as I wanted, the other staff was nice and funny as well. My mom got a tattoo here as well (how I heard about this place) and we are both in super satisfied!!

I went to Black Rose Tattoo shop with the intent of getting my first tattoo. I had a vague idea of what I wanted, and Dave gave me more than I could hope for! I wanted something simple, and he delivered. I only got a few letters and numbers on the side of my wrist, and the lines are so crisp and beautiful. Dave did such an amazing job at making me feel comfortable with getting my first tattoo!

Drove down from NC to get a tattoo by Aaron. The guy is a true artist. Consistent quality work and you can tell he puts his heart into every piece that he does. Highly recommend him! The shop itself is inviting and comfortable and the other artists are super friendly. Already planning another trip down asap to get more ink!
