South Main Tattoo & Piercing

So I have been coming to this shop for a while now, but A few weeks ago I got my Daith, Flat and Helix done by Veronica. I wanted to share that she is an excellent piercer and she knows what she’s doing. I can always reach out with any questions or concerns that I am having and she always responds with her most professional opinion. Making sure that I am happy and safe. I would 100% recommend going to her she is a safe space for all and really absolutely amazing at what she does!

I have 5 piercings done by veronica and she was great every time! super professional and a really great person to have pierce you. she made me feel super comfortable and did a great job on all my piercings!!!

Had yet another great experience at this shop getting a tattoo. all of the staff here are super welcoming, know how to hold a conversation, and all around super kind. i’ve never had any kind of issues at this shop whether it be for piercing or getting a tattoo. i recommend this shop to literally everybody because it’s WORTH it !!

I had an amazing peircing experience!! I walked in unsure on what I wanted to get and my peircer, Veronica, took the time to give me recommendations and look at jewelry with me. She walked me through everything she was doing and made sure I was comfortable at every step. It has been near to half a year since I lost my best friend and peircing buddy and without knowing Veronica made me feel so welcomed and not alone. Thank you 🥰

Had a horrible experience with the piercer Veronica, she was unprofessional, unreliable and asked for more money a week after my piercing, claiming that she “undercharged me”.EDIT:Yes there’s SO much more to the story and it has absolutely nothing to do with her handicap child that you and her keep throwing into the conversation.Not only did Veronica mess up my friend’s piercing, which yes, she did correct for free but she claimed to undercharged me $35. I tipped her $42 and she reached out to me one week later asking for the extra $35 because she said that her boss was going to take it out of her pay. She should’ve taken the tip money that I tipped her and put it towards that $35 that SHE Forgot to charge me. Reaching out a week later for more money from a client is very unprofessional, I would know as a shop owner as I have undercharged people on accident and have NRVER asked for more money. of course I payed it because she asked me to and I felt obligated considering she had told us she would come to me to change the piercings. She then proceeded to tell me and my friend that she would come out in 2-3 weeks to change our bars. We set a date for the 16th and my friend had to contact her herself to confirm that she was coming (morning of) and that’s when she decided that she wasn’t able to come two hours before she was supposed to be at the shop to change them., Again very unprofessional to not let us know that you’re not coming when we were expecting you all week. BTW she never ONCE told us prices of the jewelry. Never gave me a receipt or break down of the pricing but after walking out and doing math u paid almost $300 for a piercing.

After researching ear piercing for our little girl, we decided using professional piercers at a Tattoo shop was the way to go. I appreciate all the knowledge and care the staff at South Main showed. My 8year old daughter had a great experience. The place is very clean and everyone was professional with her. Highly recommend them for when your child is ready to get her ears pierced.

I had my tragus and conch pierced today by Riley, who was very professional, personable, and helpful. My experience was excellent with beautiful high quality jewelry choices, using my preferred threadless labret option. I highly recommend this studio and Riley for your piercing needs.

Got my nostril pierced by Riley and she did an incredible job. Im about five days post piercing and having zero issues and it looks beautiful! As someone who has had her nostril pierced and it didnt end well the first time...Riley made me feel comfortable explaining how it would work before, during and after. Everything was super quick - I was in and out in like 25 minutes! Highly recommend this place for piercing!

Got a conch with Stacy and it’s amazing!! Whole experience was 10/10, picked jewelry from a great selection, signed paperwork with ease, got gently pierced and was all set! Stacy is so amazingly skilled and provided a great service.

I brought my 8-year-old here to get her ears pierced. The staff was so kind and patient with her through the entire process. The shop was clean and they had a great selection of jewelry. I would come here again and recommend it to anyone looking to get a new piercing!

Got my daughters ears pierced today for an early birthday gift. Riley did the piercing, walking in I already liked this parlor. The information online for what is needed for a minor is very clear, and is not hard to find on their website.My daughter got woozy, and a little faint, and Riley was amazing! She was quick, and helped in every and any way. Im happy with the service she provided, and have already recommended this parlor. We will also be back.

Had an absolutely wonderful tattoo experience with Phoenix here. She was super patient with me and ensured I got exactly what I wanted. She also was respectful (as the tattoo is in a sensitive area) and made me feel comfortable the whole time.The tattoo came out 1000x better than I imagined. Its beautiful. Thank you again.

Found this shop after researching for forever. Finally landed on Megan, whose style perfectly matches everything I wanted in my tattoos. Shes extremely talented and absolutely the sweetest person Ive ever met in the industry. She is personable and professional, and made the whole process as painless as tattoos could be. Dont expect to walk in, as her books are continuously packed, but that just speaks to her talent. 100% worth the wait and I recommend her to everyone.

Today I had a wonderful experience getting a nostril piercing. Riley answered all my questions, explained the process and made me feel at ease. This was something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and I am beyond happy!

I got tattooed by Pheonix at AnimeInk con in Richmond Virginia. I had such a wonderful time talking to Pheonix and was extremely impressed with how gentle and wonderful she was during the entire process. She gave me a badass tattoo in a pretty spicy spot. The lines are crispy and the color saturation is wonderful, and my skin wasn’t overworked or damaged during the process. Pheonix also helped me keep my mind off of the pain by dealing with me talking non stop lol.If you’re looking for an artist who does some badass tattoos please consider booking with Pheonix. If I wasn’t all the way in North Carolina I would get tattooed by her every month.

My daughter had her cartilage pierced today and Stacy did a fabulous job! She was gentle and talked my daughter through the entire procedure. My daughter said it was practically painless compared to her experience with the piercing gun. Stacy took the time to talk to us about after care and helped us to understand the healing process. We are both very happy with the piercing. It looks great! I would highly recommend Stacy and the entire studio.

Riley pierced my nose and I cannot say enough good things about her. I went with my sister and a friend and she took her time with all three of us (we knew NOTHING about piercings), explained things clearly, was fast and gentle with the piercing process, and made us relaxed. We were so happy and psyched about her work.A couple months later, I decided to change out the labret topper in Dallas where I live. I spent the whole day going around to piercing studios here talking to people and trying to find a labret topper I liked. Everyone I met was fine, but nothing as special as Riley. I was really spoiled by working with someone as professional and interested in helping people as Riley my first time.Next time, I’ll just wait till I’m visiting family in Pennsylvania and go back to Riley. They also had a great selection of labret topper choices at South Main Tattoo. I couldn’t find anything that good here in all of Dallas, which is one of the biggest cities in the country.Thank you Riley and thank you South Main Tattoo! One million stars for real they will exceed your expectations.

I’m absolutely disappointed I had multiple piercings out back in recently & now yet again another one came out. I’ve had piercings for 15 years and that’s never happened to me once not only did I tip 20$ just to put piercings back in not even to get pierced but when I emailed they did nothing for me after one came out so quickly. Very disappointing

I got my nose pierced (nostril) at South and Main. Place was very clean and followed the covid guidelines. Phoenix was my piercer and she was super great! She answered all of my questions, talked me through the piercing process, and did a great job! The piercing looks great and I can’t wait until it’s fully healed!Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to get a piercing. Request Phoenix if you can!

This place is amazing!! I came here in May to get my helix pierced and then I came back to get it changed. The piercer, Phoenix, did an amazing job. They made sure I was doing ok and walked me through what they were doing. I also got my nose pierced by Phoenix and they were once again amazing. This tattoo place was amazing I when I walked in I was greeted in a proper and warming manner. My tattoo artist was Phoenix she was amazing and her artwork is spectacular. We talked through out my tattoo session so it didnt seem long at all when it was over I was pleased with the results and I will be sure to return again I recommend this tattoo shop to anyone who wants a great tattoo at the moment they only do appointment only but it was worth the wait

The shop was immaculately clean, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming and comforting, and Megan is a supremely talented artist. I absolutely love my new tattoos! I just got my septum pierced here the other day for a Christmas present, and it was absolutely incredible!!! Best piercing experience I have ever had! Because of Covid-19, I had to schedule ahead of time, but I got my appointment a day later. I just had to wear a mask, and they only pierce/tattoo one person at a time. (They wont do mouth piercings though) My piercer was SO sweet, and she was good at her job. She was fast, and the piercing looks perfect. There was no pain, I mean, my eyes didnt even water, (I do have a high pain tolerance) and I was shocked at that! I did a lot of research beforehand, and my experience seemed 100 times easier than what I had witnessed on videos and read in reviews. Its now healing, and I have almost no pain at all, no smells other people had mentioned, and no gunk to clean. Its the simplest care for any piercing I have ever gotten. I would recommend this place to ANYONE who still wants to get work done, especially during this pandemic, and to anyone who wants their septum done, but is scared of the process, aftereffects, or pain, GO FOR IT!!! I am so so happy that I got this done, and I will be returning here in February for another piercing 😍

Ive gone here on two separate occasions, once for a tattoo and another time to get my septum pierced. Both times were a great experience and I will definitely be going back for future tattoos and piercings. The location is kept very clean and the piercers and tattooists were extremely thorough in making the process as safe and comfortable as possible. I highly recommend this place.

I have had quite a few piercings done and this was by far my best experience all around! They have managed to make things as normal as possible with necessary COVID restrictions. Phoenix greeted us at the door and walked us through their process and guidelines. Stacey pierced both my younger brother (for his first) and myself. I have been to South Main many times and I have always been very happy with my experience. Phoenix has pierced my ears twice and she is amazing and very helpful. This place is very clean, professional, and friendly! If you are looking for a place to go for piercings, go here!!

My helix and nose piercings were both done by Phoenix. I had a terrific experience. She marked each piercing before doing them and allowed me to tweak them to get them exactly how I wanted them. The entire process was smooth, quick, and almost painless. I went back during COVID to get my septum with a different piercer. Out of 9 piercings including an industrial, it was by far the most painful. The piercer did not help me through it at all and did not even mark where it was going to go. I noticed the piercing was crooked after specifically asking for it to be straight, to which I was told it was being of “swelling”. After the swelling went down I noticed it was almost more crooked. I had gotten this piercing to be able to hide it for work, which I had asked about and assured I’d be able to do, but I had to go to a different shop to stretch the jewelry to be able to flip it up. I’d recommend asking for Phoenix to get your piercings done.

Meg did a really awesome job. Her lines are very clean, shes not painful by any means. She did a quote on my lower arms that looks amazing. Thank you so much ❤, I get compliments everyday in regards to this specific tattoo.

I currently have five tattoos, Megan having done three. After the first one from her, I knew I found my artist! She made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. She is a pleasure to work with while still in the idea phase of a piece. I get compliments all the time on what she’s done. My sister and brother in law even got her to do thier pieces. Today was my second visit to South main tattoo. Megan is my artist. I cannot rave enough about the shop and her. My tattoo is a memory tattoo and she created the perfect one. I recommend South main tattoo to anyone, whether youre new to this art form or just need more. Im hooked!

Ive gotten 3 tattoos from here, all of which have turned out amazing. Ive gotten 2 from the extremely talented Matt Carroll (@cloranthy on insta) who is now sadly going to be up in upstate NY (hes told me hell be back for visiting hours though!) Based on the few tattoos Ive gotten here I know there is a seriously high bar set for the quality of work from the artists. If youre in the Doylestown and surrounding areas, I HIGHLY recommend you come here first. They will have your best interests in mind from the very beginning. Not every tattoo is possible, so as long as you are open to suggestions and alterations and give the artists the freedom to make it the best possible design and tattoo, you will not find a better shop!!

I just got my first ever tattoo done by Kevin Roy and he was great! It’s a real comfortable environment and the staff are very talented and kind. I highly recommend! My family has been coming here for tattoos for years and they always do a great job.

CLEAN, QUIET, FAST, HONEST!! Shin did 2 of my tattoos and they are works of art! He fine tunes any drawing you have of ideas and makes them 100% better!! He asks if you need a break, and hes super friendly!!!Bonus...you have to pay for half of your tattoo before your appointment...you can pay for it using PayPal through their website!!!

I came in here looking to get an industrial and they told me I didn’t have the right anatomy for it, which I entirely understand, however I asked about any recommendations for any alternative piercing that would work with my ear and all they did was refer me to a pricelist that had nothing but the names of piercings and the prices. I was perfectly fine with figuring something else out, but frankly they seemed more interested in going on their phone and watching netflix on the tv in the lobby. I went to revelation in hatfield instead, where they explained exactly why the piercing wouldn’t work and the issues involved with it (rather than just saying that “my ear doesn’t work for it” and sitting back down) then helped me decide on a conch piercing, which I am very happy with ! I think going to revelation is a better idea because they were much more committed to helping clients find something that worked with their body and they were happy with, and were never disinterested or uncaring.
