I love gus!! He’s a great tattoo artist, and I’ve known him for a long time, you should definitely one to his shop!!

Had a great experience with Jack! My wife and I got tattoos that meant a lot to us, and he took the time to make sure everything was how we had imagined it. The whole place had a good vibe and we chit chatted through the whole thing overall had a fun experience. Even the other people in the shop wanted to see how it turned out and make sure we had a good time. It was like getting a tattoo from a good friend, but in a professional environment. We will definitely be coming back!

Jack did an amazing job on my tattoo! He was able to get me in real quick and within 20 minutes he had a design ready to go. He was very patient and fun to work with! Thank you Jack! I will be back for some more ink therapy soon enough!

Gus did my tattoo, i needed it fixed and he was super chill and rocked it out in like 45 mins, I love the job definitely recommend this place if your looking to get a tattoo or even have one fixed.

Got inked by Gus which was an incredible experience for me and my friends first tattoos! We called in an hour away from Durango to see if someone was available and he said hed be waiting for us!We started from scratch - in only one hour he was able to understand our ideas, put them in his computer, sketch them up, AND tattoo both of us. My tattoo was on my inner bicep and I can confirm that he has a gentle hand, yet my ink is very clear and consistent. Gus is very efficient, friendly, passionate, and cool. If necessary the shop does offer free touch-ups as well.Im definitely willing to drive back from the Denver area to have him work on some other ideas I have too.

My wife has wanted a snowflake tattoo for years. So, while we were in Durango she checked different shops and located Headhunter Tattoo shop. She called and talked to Jack and he said he could get her in the next day, he designed her a beautiful snowflake with her initial in it. We had a great time meeting and spending time with all of the guys at the shop, they treated us just like family. I would highly recommend them for a tattoo or any of the other services that they provide. They were all very polite, and professional but yet we all had a good time getting to know one another. Jack you are a fine example of your trade and you will go far in this profession. God bless you all and thank you for being so kind to us and letting us spend the afternoon with all of you.

Jack was Outstanding!! He helped me out with a cover up tattoo and it has got to be my favorite piece on my body yet, and I have a whole sleeve along with 7 other tattoos. It brings me tears how beautiful my piece looks. We had GREAT conversation the 3 sessions we had and he made me comfortable and listened to my needs and did not push me past my limit.

Gus gave me my dream tattoo. I had wanted a Phoenix for 15 years and I had a very specific thought in mind. Gus drew it up and it was perfect. He was also very gentle and it healed up quickly and without issue! Awesome experience and I have my next tattoo scheduled!

Gus, at Headhunter Tattoo is the expert and master of dropping ink. I went in for my first tattoo about a year ago. I had a few ideas and knew I wanted to go big. During the planning stage he was incredible at listening to what I liked. He added his artistic twist on individual pieces as well as tying everything together. Love that he is a true artist...from esthetics, design, drawing, and tattooing. No cookie cutter tattoos here. His technique is effective, but gentle and the healing process has been flawless. Conversation is always enjoyable and memorable, this is a positive addition to the experience. Its very obvious hes doing what he loves. If he could earn a Google star for every time Ive been complimented on my ink, he wouldnt be earning a 5 Star review...it would look more like a Galaxy! ✨🎇💥

Stopped by Headhunter studio to get a small tattoo to commemorate a trip with my daughter. The gentlemen there were friendly and professional. Jack did a small spruce on my forearm and I couldn’t be happier!! I will look back on my trip and tattoo with fond memories! This is hands down the best tattoo shop in Durango. Being a Durango local for 30+ years, this is the only shop that Ive never had any form of B.S. from. Not only is Head Hunter, clean, professional, and decently priced for amazing work, But Gus is an incredibly down to earth person who makes you feel like family and not just a canvas for his portfolio. Not only do i highly recommend this shop, I endorse headhunter tattoos on my own free will!

When I was inside, nobody said anything but look at me and stayed along in there zones while someone was behind the desk playing some online gaming and two bros talking in the back room and I was clearly standing in the main room visible. So I gave this note a call that has a written phone # and I can clearly hear my own phone ringing like I’m already here with two ppl seeing me but this 5.0 rating is a joke from my personal experience.

I had one done a few years back and to this day the quality has not deteriorated. I still havent gone back for a touch up either not needing it.
