Getting my first tattoo here was an amazing experience. Frank helped me, and he made me feel comfortable and safe throughout the process. The studio was clean and inviting, which eased any nerves I had. The tattoo healed fine, I’m in love with the result and will definitely be coming back for my next one. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love this place! i’ve been getting piercings here for years. the entire environment is welcoming, clean, and all staff members are so friendly. check out their instagram for awesome deals! kelvin did my two recent tattoos and he was so nice! he did an amazing job, couldn’t be happier. I would definitely recommend going here, I’ve always had really great experiences.

This shop is probably super popular due to its location and lack of competition. I would rather drive 45 minutes south than go back to this place. They have false advertisements with no accommodations if they decide to change their social media promos without notice. Super rude and allow their employees to talk about customers in another language. On social media they were willing to hear me out on false advertisement but then stopped answering me when I asked about piercing care. The piercer rushed the job and was annoyed at my questions AND she did it crooked. They only accept cash or cash app which is super sketchy. There is literally no customer service here. EPIC FAIL 👎🏼 I wish I could give this place a zero.

By far the worst piercing shop I’ve ever been to. I went here a few times in 2023 because they had good deals, and from my research, only employed licensed piercers. I am still so upset by my few experiences here that I felt like sharing them. Firstly, not having a public restroom in a place where people wait for hours for either walk-in piercings or tattoos is the most bizarre thing I have ever experienced in a piercing shop. I drove over an hour to come here once for walk in piercings, waited 2.5 hours, was repeatedly denied a bathroom, and literally had to pee behind a dumpster in the back with no cover. The shop is in a strip mall with no other businesses with restrooms, and on a busy highway, so there was nowhere else i could go. I was so upset, that I crossed my name off of the waiting list and drove back home. Another time prior to this, I had come in for a tragus and medusa piercing, which were done by a short, possibly hispanic girl. This girl struggled to get the needle through my tragus. Upon arriving home and looking in the mirror, I could immediately tell that the tragus was pierced at an angle and visited my trusted local piercer. He told me that both the tragus and medusa were done at crooked angles, but was more concerned about the tragus, because it was pierced very shallow. I opted to keep it in and see how it healed, in hopes of being able to change it into a shorter bar. However, after 2 months, with regular cleaning, it rejected because it was pierced too shallow. I also have permanent scarring where the piercing was done.I had 20 piercings done with my trusted piercer prior to this and have never had to take one out due to malpractice. I’m honestly upset that someone can be licensed and not know how to pierce properly. Needless to say, if you come here, don’t expect a quality piercing, and don’t expect to be able to use a restroom while you wait for hours to get pierced.Update: I am going to ignore the disgusting and unprofessional response I received from the owner and add a little more info from my experience here. I came to this shop a total of 5 times when I could not afford to visit my piercer. I chose to drive out of my way because the reviews were good and the prices were good. Why do i bring this up? Because It should be none of the owner’s business why i chose to drive out of my way or why I didn’t go to my normal piercer. A professional would never even ask or attempt to twist that against a customer. I brought friends here and recommended the shop because i liked it my first few times. However, I or whoever I was with asked for a bathroom every time I came in there, because i went for the piercing specials, and often had to wait 2 hours to get pierced. 5/5 times I was here, no bathroom. In addition, I brought my best friend twice to get her thirds, helix, and nose pierced. Her helix was pierced slanted and her nose never healed after over a year. I took her to see my piercer, and he told us that the jewelry used to pierced her nose was cheap and she was likely allergic to it. She’s since also had to take both piercings out :)

I’m giving this place a 2 star only because their piercers do a decent job. This is a place Rutgers college kids go to get their first tattoo or a few piercings.I got a tattoo two years ago from this place and it was my first one. It turned out terribly and I cried the entire way home. I finally got it covered up yesterday so that’s why I’m posting this. But I feel like the tattoo artists are a very inexperienced. Yes they have deals and aren’t that expensive but I’d pay a bigger price for something on my body forever. Big 21 year old mistake on my part. As you can see in the picture, the lines are terrible. :/

Took my daughter here for a tattoo. The artist Lee I believe came out with a much better looking picture then what my daughter had. Was perfect and she even gave her 4 options to choose from. Tattoo came out perfect, she loves it .

I was scared to get my first tattoo but everyone there was so sweet and helpful and kind. I am so happy with the way my tattoos turned out. The prices are great and would definitely recommend this place to everyone i know. Definitely coming back.

I came in as a walk in to get a tattoo and Frank attended me. Very nice and made me feel comfortable before starting the tattoo. It also came out amazing and exactly how I wanted it, possibly even better than I could’ve hoped for.

The body shop was a great experience! Lis was my tattoo artist and she was very informative and skilled. The tattoo came out perfect and I loved it! Would recommend and come back

I had a pleasure visiting today with my daughter and we both got a nose piercing I love the way she did it. I definitely will be back for another piercing. I didnt get her name but it was the piercer with the piercing on her arm. thank you. see you guys really soon..

I had previously gone for piercings and a couple of tattoos, my husband has also gotten a tattoo there, including my mother, we had no problems, until that moment, i should mention that we had already chosen the tattoo artist we liked, but he no longer worked there so I got the tattoo with a girl who was available and the reason why my score is not very high is because after the healing I realized that there were many parts missing to be filled with color, (they were two small tattoos) however I dont think the store is bad, I just hope that the tattoo artists pay attention to these details.

I’ve been at the body shop a total of 4 times so far and it’s always a great experience. Everyone’s super nice and so is the environment. It’s dope that you can tell they take their craft seriously I really like it. Would absolutely recommend to others. The Body Shop is definitely my tattoo and piercing spot from now on.

Ive gotten 2 tattoos by 2 different artists. Both are amazing. Lauren and Tori !!!! Work is neat, lines are impeccable. Definitely recommend both of them!!!! The shop has such a welcoming vibe & they have a pitt that is so sweet and literally just chills. This hands down has been a DOPE experience. I am definitely coming back for more && MOREEE!!!!!!

Just got my third lobes pierced by Ruby, she did really well with the piercing. The studio is very clean and organized, would definitely recommend this place :)

I got my conch piercing done by Seniah and both of my upper lobes done by Fatima. They were both very professional and made everything smooth for me. My piercings on my lower lobe got pushed in most likely due to the pressure I put on it in the middle of the night, but this place handled it very well and replaced it with a long post! Thank you! Ill definitely be coming back for more piercings!

These people can’t even put an order when it comes to their Friday 13th special a lot of people who had been waiting for hours were skipped by people who got there after the door open. Extremely disrespectful, their receptionist shouldve been putting an order to the line instead shes sitting on her ass complaining. If you guys cannot put an order to your customers you guys shouldnt be in business at all just wasting people’s times.

Came here twice once to bring my niece during their special and they pierced her belly. The second visit they refused her because her mother was not present. A 40 minute trip to be refused and her mom was able to show permission with all documents via FaceTime. I am extremely displeased. Gas is $3.50 a gallon.

You get what you pay for I guess 😭 got 3 piercings done here. they used butterfly backs on my lobes with posts way too short (I had to take that out before it got embedded) and my daith was pierced completely incorrect. much better places in east brunswick worth the extra money.edit-this response is crazy 😭 if you can look at this daith and honestly say it is done properly you got issues. also i was never shown flat backs either, and if i was i absolutely would have gotten them considering how terrible butterflies are esp on new piercings. considering kimi is not my first name i have no idea how u would know who i am. but yeah, avoid this shop people!

They gave me the wrong piercing (a vertical helix instead of the floating helix i asked for) so not only was it a painful piercing, but it was the wrong one too !!

Ruby did an amazing job with my nipple piercings Saturday night! I was a little nervous about getting them done, and she reassured me and checked on me the whole time as the piercings themselves weren’t even as painful as I initially thought it would be. She was very cautious and checked to make sure that she was marking the right places as well. Two days out and no pain or issues at all following the piercings whatsoever! I had a few questions the day after receiving the piercings and I DMed Ruby on Instagram and she had helped me out in a timely fashion and was super sweet as well. Incredibly thankful to Ruby and the staff for being great gals and doing an amazing job! I will definitely be coming back for more piercings in the future ♥️

I never leave bad reviews but last week I went to get my two lobes pierced and my helix. While my piercer Fatima was extremely nice, piercing process was pleasant and she gave me good aftercare instructions….unfortunately my helix piercing became extremely inflamed, swollen and painful even with cleaning it 2x daily with saline, not sleeping on it and not touching it unless cleaning it. I reached out to Fatima on instagram like she instructed me to do if I had any issues but received no response. I live in WA so once I flew home I immediately went to a reputable tattoo/piercing shop to get it looked at and was told that the bar was way too short leaving no room for swelling, the earring size was too big and the butterfly backing was also a big part of the problem (I was very quickly shown what other options I had for jewelry but not shown or told what the backings for each option were, just shown the front. I definitely would have chosen the more expensive jewelry with the flat backings had I known it was an option) . When describing the piercing process to my new piercer, I was made aware that using the same needle for all 3 piercings and only one or two alcohol wipes for the whole process is not sanitary. The new piercer did say that the angle was good so I guess that’s a positive? The shop was incredibly busy and Fatima must have pierced around 5-10 people before me so I guess she was in a rush, but I’m still very disappointed with the not 100% sanitary process and the lack of communication regarding both the jewelry and getting no response when reaching out.EDIT: Fatima did end up responding to me after a few days and offered to switch out the jewelry however it was too late as I had already went to a different piercer to get that done.

I got my most recent tattoo done by Ace and he did such a great job and took his time with the numbers and he made me feel comfortable and made sure I was okay with the tattoo size and placing before any ink. I love coming to this shop, they have great pricing, everyone is super friendly and everything is very clean ! Can’t wait to visit again :)

About a week ago, i went to get a naval piercing. i got it done by ruby. from the start, i could tell the girl was having trouble with the needle. she claimed it was fine. afterwards i told her that i thought that the bar was too small; she told me it was fine after playing with it with a q-tip. she was nice but obviously did not know what she doing, and was clueless about the correct sizing. when i went to a different body shop afterwards they could tell the bar was too small and had to replace it for me which cost another $38 in addition to the $45 i paid originally. the placement of the piercing looks okay, i wouldn’t go back though.

Well lets just say the devil rolls deep in this shop. Atmosphere (energy) was weird 😞 like entitled people.. Meaning heard they were good my girl took me.l with her and I was excited to get a tattoo with her.. But while there felt this anti-Christ, prideful spirit! This was confirmed when I was done getting my Hebrew Yeshua atonement TAT!! The Spanish boy did mine and he asked me 3× how to spell Yeshua and I told him..So of course when he showed me the layout which was in cursive I said cool!! Well lo and behold my Tat was messed up..The cat spelled Yeshua with U ahahah! The worst part is when I called to complain their defense was I saw the pre-super writing and as I said to them obviously he had you stuck in his head and spelled the way he wanted to again the worst part was the owner called me after midnight tonight Yeah midnight 🥺 I told him what happened lets just say he got a cocky attitude like he is so good that he cant make mistakes & his team! Very unprofessional and I will never go back to that Jezebel Place.. Bible says dont cast your pearls amongst swine

First of all this shop is beyond clean. And the whole staff is super friendly and accommodating. The girl at the front desk is so sweet and friendly. I got my nose pierced with Fatima this pass Friday evening. She is so professional, sweet and knows what she’s doing. Love her vibe and the whole experience was fantastic! Horrible place very just weird everybody seems to be on New age ignorant stuck up kick will not recommend this place if you want to feel left outFor the most part tattoo artists are very average at best you can get better work else places..Ask to speak to the owner they said he wasnt here and then I heard somebody say that knew him that he was the owner no wonder everybody acts all arrogant and stuck up they take it from him

So my ex went to this shop to get her tongue pierced and they did a great job. So I decided to come in and get my 3rd tattoo done. Got the artist “ACE.”This dude… KNOWS WHAT HES DOING! Does his best to make sure ur comfortable while he works on top of that the tattoo I got came out fire. Spends his time making sure it’s vivid and it pops. Definitely my go to spot and artist for my next tattoo job!

Needed a quick change for my forward helix ear piercing and the young lady was quick with it & very sweet. Dont remember her name. But thank you!!! 💜

I just recently had my first tattoo at the shop with Ace, and my man KILLED it. Healing is going smooth and the steadiest hands ive ever experienced under the gun. Cool dude, clean shop, prices are well within reason and plenty of artists available. Highly recommend!

The Body Shop is one of the most phenomenal tattoo and piercing shops I have been to. I came here with my friends to get piercings and tattoos and everything we received came out beautifully. I got my belly button pierced and I get queasy when it comes to the needle and I was super nervous. They handled everything perfectly and took the best care of me. It is a clean environment with friendly people who are there to make sure you are satisfied with what you are receiving. It is a very open and positive environment. Being super queasy when it comes to needles and such, they do a great job of helping you through it and making you look great. My piercing is perfect and it is all because of The Body Shop and the talented and caring staff. If you are going to go anywhere, GO HERE!

My tat was done by ace & my septum was done by ticha. i love both of their work! first time going here and everyone was extremely nice & welcoming! would def come back & 10/10 recommend !

ONLY place I trust to do my piercings. Seniah is patient with my anxiety, and good at what she does. I take a long drive here and it’s worth it. I’ve gotten my cartilage, two lobe piercings, and a belly piercing here and they are all done beautifully. Their tattoo work is beautiful as well. If you want a body modification to be perfect , go here.

While they always have specials going on and the price is really cheap (about $20 including jewelry) which is nice for a broke college student, the quality of the piercings reflect the price. I got my helix and earlobes pierced here before and they used butterfly backing for both piercings which was not specified on their social pages. Ideally, they should be pierced with flat backs. Although that didnt matter much for my lobes, the butterfly backings made the healing time for my helix take forever and Im constantly getting bumps on it. So just keep that mind if you are someone who is likely prone to getting bumps or if youre getting a cartilage piercing, the jewelry that they use is not the greatest and will most likely prolong your healing time.

I’ve strictly come here for all of my piercings the last 3 years and recommend coming to everyone I know. The staff is super friendly and comforting. I’ve only had good experiences, and they truly care about their craft. The store itself is also clean and has a great atmosphere. I went today with my sister to get my other nostril pierced and I didn’t get her name but the piercer was amazing.

After reading the low star reviews before leaving my own, i see the responses of the shop/owner & it is quite funny yet childish af but i decide to take my chances. anyways, i already have a tattoo artist that i go to & has done my full sleeve and thigh tatt but i decided to take my little brother here to get matching tattoos on a random friday night. the tattoo we wanted is literally the size of a NICKEL for reference. Now, considering that the 2 nickel sized tattoo were smaller than the shop’s minimum size (costing $80 @ shops minimum price & i was OK to pay for both of us btw) they were trying to headcrack us for the 2 small designs at the price of $180 each! 💀💀 not to mention they kept changing the price on us too after their multiple discussions within each other. listen, i have no problem to pay for good quality work but this was beyond me. i don’t get why they couldn’t just leave the price at $80 for $50 work but to each its own. it’s not like there was anyone there at their final hour & they couldve made the shop an easy $180 for both tattoos. i also thought it was bogus af to make us sign a waiver that we keep 🤣. i was disappointed leaving the shop with nothing but a nice animal & petting zoo visit. (the bearded dragon is the cutest thing 🥹)i’m going to share the pic we wanted to get for reference (same spot & same size).

I got pierced by Fatima and got both of my nostrils done!! She did an amazing job! Perfect attention to detail and they turned out EXACTLY how I was picturing them! Literally perfect!! I will definitely be coming back to get more piercings in the future!!💕

Not a bad experience at all, noticed my tattoo was a little lopsided after i unwrapped which disappointed me. the wand is supposed to be completely straight and the triangle isnt even.

My newest edition was from Lauren, very kind and easy to talk to and her linework is great! Id love to go back soon to get some more done work, Id really recommend going!

Took my boyfriend here to get a tattoo for his birthday. I booked the appointment and put the deposit down one day before they announced a huge special that would’ve cut the price I was paying in half. I asked my artist if I could get the discount (since I only booked it one day prior) and she said no which is understandable because rules are rules and I’m not trying to take money away from the artist, but when we got there (on time for our appointment) people were coming in for the walk in special after us and getting seen before us. We waited an hour after our appointment time with no word from the artist or anything but all these people were coming in after us, getting seen first and paying a fraction of the price we were paying. They also told us they did not have a bathroom for guests to use which was weird because idk what people getting tattoos that take a long time do. They also don’t allow guests to come sit with you while you get your tattoo which I 100% respected but that type of disregard for the customer’s comfort is not at all what I am looking for in a tattoo shop. I was also planning on getting a walk-in tattoo with him that day but was just put off by the way it seems like they really don’t care about their customers. In comparison with other tattoo shops, they usually do allow at least one guest for moral support and they’re usually much more personable and make it a more comfortable experience for both the person getting the tattoo AND their guest. I’ve gone with him to his previous tattoo artist (who unfortunately moved) and the entire time she just chatted me (and him ofc) up and we had a great time. As someone with severe anxiety, I was just entirely put off because it felt like the tattoo artist did not care or want to form any kind of relationship with their customers like other tattoo artists do.However, the tattoo itself was fine and the place was clean. The artist wasn’t rude or anything. They also let a very sweet dog roam the shop sometimes which is a plus (I’ve gotten pierced here before previously and had a better experience) So if you don’t care about any of the above things then the rates here are unbeatable but I would not recommend this place to people looking for a friendly, comfortable tattooing experience. Especially if you’re new to getting tattoos.

I liked this place initially because of their hospitality and cleanliness but my piercings came out crooked. Not only were they crooked but when I went back to the shop the piercer denied it was crooked until another worker agreed with me. This is the same pompous attitude that caused my piercings to not be symmetrical when initially placed and done. How can you employ piercers that not only cannot do symmetrical piercings correctly but also sit there and try to deny or deflect their wrongdoings? Pictures do not lie and every time I took a picture with those piercings they were crooked. It was even confirmed by a different piercer who is CERTIFIED with the Association of Professional Piercers. And this place does not give refunds. Need I say more?I found the whole situation and experience to be extremely insulting and frustrating. I’m tired of getting pierced incorrectly and having/being told to take it out to get it redone. It is not right or healthy. I recommend going to a place that has piercers certified under the APP. There has to be a change done to the standards and regulations of piercings and piercers!

I came here yesterday with my Boo and we both got piercings done. The shop is SO neat and clean, I love absolutely love the animals in there too! We were both kind of nervous even though I have a bunch of piercings this was his first piercing. The piercer made us feel really comfortable and made the experience quick and painless for us both. We’re already planning another visit. Thank you!

My daughter and I got piercings today and it was a great experience from start to finish. Everyone he was super nice and super professional. Shawn did my piercing and I literally felt no pain at all. Hes amazing. Well definitely be back here and will recommend to our friends :)

Staff was really friendly and nice! but my piercing is overall just messed up, missed the marked out holes on both sides, you can see the bar right through my skin from piercing it in the unmarked spot, also used the wrong gauge for this type of piercing :(

Lauren was my artist and she created this beautiful flower garden for me. The process was very smooth and she was incredible! Very professional and accommodating. I recommend booking with her for your custom tattoos!! The entire staff is friendly and the shop has good vibes overall. I will definitely be coming back for my next tattoo sooner than later! ☺️

I cant express it enough how much I love Shawn and his shop! I had to get my helix re-pierced since my earring fell out and it closed. I was educated that my old piercing (from another shop 4 years ago) was actually placed poorly and Shawn made sure to correct it so it heals properly!He truly takes pride in what he does and spreads it to his team. I have not got pierced by any other piercer in 3 years. And I will continue to get pierced here. Thank you body shop team 🫶🏻

I recently got a tattoo done by Lee. The attention to detail, how clean her station & knowledge throughout the whole process was great. Felt really comfortable with her the whole process! Went here with a group of friends to get our first tattoos when they were doing their Christmas promo (bring in a toy, get $10 off a 2x2 tattoo). I got mine done by Ace and it came out beautifully! Ive had this viola tattoo design saved in my phone to be my first tattoo for 5+ years, and to finally see it come to life was a dream. Ace was amazing: made sure the design was perfect and to my liking when it was printed out, made me nice and comfortable during the process and was very detailed with rules for aftercare. Overall, 10/10 experience and definitely going back to him for my next tattoo in the (very near) future!

Ive been here multiple times for tattoos and piercings mainly due to the low prices and specials they have, unfortunately the last time I went in with my friend to get tattoos and a helix piercing, they ended up piercing her in the wrong spot over scaring and it got even more irritated, the piercer initially realized her mistake and then offered her 2 free nose piercings which also ended up being piercing in the wrong spots and rejected horribly. As someone with her ears fully pierced as well as my nose I was able to tell automatically how messed up the placement was. After following the shop on instagram for awhile it seemed weird how their merchant services always seemed to be down and would have you directly cash app/ venmo the artists directly which seems like a way to get away with money laundering. This whole shop is sketchy, everyone that works their looks disorganized, as well as having a dog walking around the shop which is just plain disgusting and unsanitary. I tried to reach out over instagram and the owner was rude and pompous and then blocked me. Even before this shop opened the owner was piercing minors in hotels in the area. I thought maybe after getting a shop things would change or be better in some way but the whole place is a mess and they scam you out of money.

Very friendly. I recommend Ace as one of the most detailed tattoo artist. I walked outta the shop with a big smile and I am still happy with the tattoo he tatted.

They had a special on Instagram so my friends and I decided to come over and try out the specials. They got their first nose piercings while I got my first tattoo. The reception room had cute tank critters and the whole mood was super chill and relaxing. I personally designed the tattoo myself so it was super exciting to see my creation on my ankle! I thought the pain would be excruciating but it wasnt. The tattooist Ace was super nice and chill to be around. I would definitely recommend him for newcomers. I had a blast getting my first tattoo and I know Ill definitely will be coming back for another one in the future.

I had a great experience with the kind receptionist and Fatima, who did about ten piercings for me in two separate sessions (I have a high pain tolerance and have been pierced before, so I am fully aware of the healing process). Fatima was professional, extremely quick, and she made sure I was happy with the results. She additionally corrected two piercings I had previously retired due to poor placement from another shop, so I am incredibly happy with her work. I will gladly come again in the future!

I’ve gotten two tats from here with two different artist (Tasha and Ace) and both did an exceptional job! They were both very thorough and the compliments I get on those two are beyond me. Both healed pretty well! Everyone was really impressed with how well they did from the tiny details to the fine lettering.

JD has now done 3 of my tattoos and I don’t think I’ll ever be going to anyone else or any other stop. The environment is amazing and JD goes out of her way to make the experience comfortable and enjoyable. I HIGHLY recommend her if you are looking for an amazing artist with good work and nice conversation.

Today I went to this shop to get my first ever tattoo with my girlfriend as a spur of the moment thing since they had a promotion going on for walk ins. My artist was Ace and he did an absolutely amazing job. He walked me through the whole process about what I wanted, where I wanted it and gave me some advice about placement. He went above and beyond to explain the process of tattooing and explain everything he was doing and why. He made me feel very comfortable and would highly recommend him to anyone wanting ti get work done. He is very professional and takes his time to do it right in order to give you exactly what you want. I will definitely be back in the future!

Ive gotten 2 tattoos here and they are amazing. Everyone here is super nice and chill and its an overall great experience. Ticha did my most recent tattoo and she was super nice and helpful, she was also super gentle and I hardley even felt her tattooing me. Her art is amazing and Im definitely going to go back to her soon. :)

The shop has a really nice set up and feel to it on the inside. The workers were very nice and inviting. Seniah did my double nose piercing and I love it!! She did a great job and made me feel at ease as she did it quick and efficiently. Definitely will be going back for all my other piercings in the future!

JD was my artist and oh my god, she is amazing. I cannot get enough of her line work!!! Best line work I’ve seen and had done on me. Came here a few weeks ago for their Christmas tattoo special. They did a really great job of keeping the line moving, but they also really took their time making my design exactly what I wanted. Overall I had a really great experience and I would definitely get another tattoo here.

Recently came in to get a tattoo done by Lee and it was an amazing experience! She is really cool and makes you feel comfortable when you come in to see her. I love how clean the line work of my tattoo is. Will be coming back to see her !!

I’ve been having issues with my lobe piercings that were done elsewhere and Seniah was super helpful. Checked out which piercings were fine, made sure to not overload the piercings, repierced as needed.

After having my medusa done 3 times prior, I accepted that it was a piercing that wasn’t made to last on me. I wanted to give it one more go and after having Seniah pierce me, I’ll never go anywhere else. Not only was she super sweet, but the entire process took less than 5 minutes. My piercing lays perfectly flat and though it’s still healing, it’s been miles easier than the last three and I couldn’t be happier!!

First of all I hate to have to write a bad review, I did try reaching out to the business and the artist beforehand and my message was ignored I didn’t receive any response. I booked a hand tattoo with JD within two weeks in advance. When the day of my appt came I had to dm the artist to confirm it, because I had not heard from her since I had sent in my deposit. When I came to the shop the artist was wearing pijamas and her hair was messy and looked like she had rolled out of bed like 10min before our appt. I thought that looked unprofessional but I didn’t think much of it since it’s her work that matters and she was very nice. She didn’t have any design ready for me which was kinda of a red flag since we had talked about it through dms and she said she would have one ready for me. The tattoo was done in two sessions, first session she did the outline, it didn’t really match my existing arm tattoo which is very bold and dark which is why I came back to ask her to shade it in which she told me it was going to cost extra and that was completely fine with me as long and it was good work, my total was $680 plus $50tip = $730 also including some small letters she did on my fingers, but the shading overall just looks rushed and it’s a bad design in general, as soon as I got home I realized I had made a mistake by getting it, and by trusting her even though there were many red flags throughout the process, I unfortunately had a bad experience and felt like I needed to share since it had made me feel very upset ever since I had it done.

The first time I went to the body shop was in December 2021 and I went with JD, she did a phenomenal job on my tattoo. She had just started working there and she told me she was only there for two weeks. I went back to her in March of this year and again a phenomenal job on my rose tattoo. I definitely recommend visiting The Body Shop. The ambience at this shop is always welcoming!

Went here for a tattoo. Lauren was very nice and professional. Her line work is fantastic and she is extremely friendly. Went a second time for piercings with my sister. Brenda was extremely quick and you can tell she’s good at what she does; also very friendly. Highly recommend. The whole office has good vibes.

I was here with my friend and I was not getting a tattoo with her but she was and I understand the rules, which are if you are not getting a service you have to leave; however the “owner of this place,” to use his words, was very rude and being annoying for no reason. My friend was simply asking me placement questions about her tattoo and the owner kept telling me I had to wait outside. It was 7:46 pm, the place closes at 7 (we got there before 7) so there were not a lot of people and there were many empty seats. He was acting this way simply because he’s the owner and can do what he wants. He didn’t take into account the experience for the customer. I was going to go outside and wait, all I was doing was helping her with her placement and then I was going to leave. The owner needs to understand what a tattoo experience is for their customers and understand that 1 friend accompanying someone to a tattoo is nice to have. They should instead accommodate for one friend or at least let a friend help with simply questions like placement and then step out. I am very reasonable and understanding but pointless rules and behavior like that for no reason is unacceptable.

I came in as a Walking with Lauren I showed an initial picture of what I wanted but customized with my sons face portrait and she did amazing. Does great work with thin lined tattoos and works fast too! Did not hurt one bit and all for a great price😍 she did both of my tattoo!

I’ve gotten tattooed by JD many times and today by Lee, and pierced in the past by Ticha, all with incredible experiences! Tattoos were all done with incredible accuracy and detail, and the piercings by Ticha were placed great and were as painless as piercings can be!! Visited twice, and I already want to go again. I had only just started getting things done to myself about a few months ago, and I started with getting my ears pierced. I knew I wanted to get tattoos, but I scared, nervous, and didn’t know where to go. I found out about this place from a friend, and I decided to check it out myself. I was shivering a little my first time there, but the environment was calm, everything was clean, and the people there were amazing. Everyone is easy to talk to, and they’re all very caring. I got two tattoos from 2 different artists, Rafael and AceDrew. I greatly enjoyed my time with both of them, as well as their work. I can’t wait to go back for more.

If you want a cool atmosphere and fun artists to work with, I would suggest this place. I had an artist named ACE. He did an amazing job of replicating my dogs paw print on my arm who passed away three years ago. He was very knowledgeable and helped me create the vision that I wanted for my tattoo. I got my belly pierced here in May and it wasn’t healing it was always super irritated and hurting. and i realized it’s cause it was pierced wrong. it was not pierced inside my bellybutton , a piercer told me they completely messed it up and used terrible jewelry. They pierced both holes ABOVE my bellybutton. My stomach is now forever scarred it looks dark and weird. Im hoping once it’s healed i can get it PROPERLY pierced somewhere better but idk if i’ll be able to, they messed up my stomach forever.

Many people in my family have come here before and told me great things about their experience. All of their tattoos came out very clean as well. Lawn did an amazing job with me, especially since it was my first tattoo. A great a experience and a good time. Would definitely recommend Lawn again.

Great atmosphere!I had my daith, belly button and lobes pierced and they look amazing!I also had two new tattoos done by Chris who was extremely professional and made me feel at ease during the process. Went there to get my 3rd lobe, manager did my piercing, didn’t mark it and went straight in with the needle. Quickly wiped down my ear to “sterilize” it. They were rushing and the place was very unorganized. The placement is way higher then my other two and I will never be returning. I suggest going to a place that makes sure they are focused and in a calm enough environment to make sure they do your piercings correct.

Yeiry was super professional, comforting, and nice. She made my ideas come to life. She worked well with using what I wanted and gave me great advice on how to tweak it to look 100 times better. It was so nice meeting her and I’ll definitely be revisiting for another tattoo from her. Absolutely loved it!!

Great experience and immaculately clean. I had the privilege of getting pierced by Ticha who was nothing but professional the entire time while multitasking of piercing my daith and Tragus while training a new piercer and made it look easy. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do the job right. Especially with how easily my piercings healed.

I never caught her name but my piercer was a girl with a bridge piercing, she was the sweetest! repierced my belly button and i was so nervous that i almost passed out when she was finished but she was so nice about it and gave me ice packs to help me cool down! she’s the best.

I went to get my helix repierce here during the March special and the piercer used a stud butterfly backing instead a cartilage earring. She didn’t even pierce it on the original pierced hole in the front, so it’s actually another new piercing all together. I’ve been saline washing it every day but I cant clean near the hole cause there no room from the inflammation.My original helix piercing closed out after an allergic reaction to bad jewelry a few month ago, so i just wanted it repierce since it healed out now. I personally told the piercer what happen just in case and paid extra for the hypoallergenic earrings, but I didn’t realize the backing until I left the store.I Instagram the shop after since the inflammation is now forming a bump around the piercing side and they said they can change it when I revisit. When I went back today the same girl said she unable to change it because all they have are butterfly backings.I honestly was just going to pay extra for a change of earring but I’ll go to another shop down 18 to get it fixed if I’m going to be rejected by receptionist.

I had a great experience getting my belly button pierced with Ticha! She marked it all out for me and made sure I liked it before she went and pierced it. Super sweet and nice… walked me thru the whole thing it really didn’t even hurt that bad. Cute puppy and cool bearded dragon too!

Very unprofessional, poor customer service and very disorganized. I went to The Body Shop for the tattoo special and was one of the first few people to come in. I came with my friend and we both sat for 2 hours before even being asked what tattoo we had in mind. People in line behind us had already been taken care of by this time (what was the purpose of a sign in sheet if youre not going in order?). After giving them my idea and having my stencil made, it took 2 more hours of sitting and waiting just for a completely different artist to tell me that my idea was too detailed for a 3x3. I totally understood that, but to wait so long to be told that when my stencil had already been made, is the issue. My friend also had her tattoo idea shut down, for valid reasoning, but again to wait hours on end just for an approval is absurd. They also gave us a hard time about letting us use their bathroom, but had no problem keeping us waiting for 4.5 hours total just to leave with nothing. Cheap service, unwilling to help customers and poorly run.

This place is absolutely amazing! They’re very friendly and handle everything with care. I got a nose piercing with my sister and she almost passed out. They could have easily just sat her down and did nothing but else but everyone jumped in to help. The lady that pieced her nose gave her food, a guy gave her an ice cold drink, and they rubbed ice packs on her and let her lay down even though it was almost closing time to make sure she was okay and didn’t faint. I got my first tattoo done with Cely and it was the best experience I could ask for as my first time. I went in super nervous, but Cely made sure I was comfortable at all times, answered all my questions, and provided me with great aftercare instructions. I had a good but also bad experience.Had a girl do my tongue piercing.Pro: she was super nice and answered all my questions as best as she could also made me feel comfortable. Another big plus she was super honest and told me she messed up. They let me lay down since I got light headed and kept checking on me to make sure I was ok.Con: unfortunately when she did pierce the tongue it was very crooked... so we had to go a second time... second time was a charm though.

Best experience Ive ever had at any body shop. Nat was the sweetest and my experience in the shop was so comfortable. The employees are super friendly and the sitting area is nice with TVs playing movies so if you have to wait its not uncomfortable or tense. 11/10 I highly recommend this shop.

My friend and I just went in for the $50 deal and we had requested Risha to do our tattoos. Super awesome experience. The shop was very clean and really well decorated, there was also the friendliest dog! Risha did a wonderful job and made our experience great! I got two name tattoos done by Chris. He was very nice to me and my daughter who was guided by Chris when she put a name tattoo on me for the mothers day special. The second time I went, I showed Chris what I wanted and he helped me find something unique to put after the second name tattoo. He is very kind and listened to what I wanted. Got my nose pierced and she was super skilled and quick. We went on a day where there was a instagram promo going on that we didnt know about and the girl at the front desk explained everything to us and showed us how to do it and I got both piercings for a total of $25. Great place, they even had a few snakes, a coffee bar, and the sweetest little pittie baby ever. Totally going back, I hope the pitties still there next time💘

I recently got some work done there.. Place is very clean neat and professional. I reached out to Lauren after coming across some of her work on Insta.. I had a specific idea in mind so I reached out to her and she got back to me next day.. She drew something up for me and it was a go! I was stoked at the way she made my idea come to life!! I’m beyond pleased with the outcome.. getting another piece done by her tomorrow! can’t wait!

Honestly its not too bad of a place except my tattoos now have missint lines & blowouts. My lip piercing never healed properly & ive had it 2 other times. Its cheap and u get what u pay for. Also the have a bearded dragon in the shop & its kept on reptile carpet which isnt good. I wish they would do more research before keeping animals in the shop or animals period

Cheap jewelry and unprofessional. I guess you get what you pay for :/Edit: yeah the least expensive option still shouldnt be causing harm to your clients bodies and disfiguring them. These guys dont care about you they only want your money. Also not to mention the multiple accusations again Shawn. Im going to have a big ugly scar on my body now thanks to this hack of a piercer, and knowing what I know now I wish I never came here.

After going to a different shop they informed me that my lip was completely pierced wrong !! This shop is very unprofessional they bully people on Instagram. Highly do not recommend unsafe environment

Went there yesterday-I got my nose and tragus piered for only 23 bucks-The girl was obviously an apprentice, and it’s honestly wasn’t worth the money I’ve had many piercings before, and these were the most uncomfortable, paint, painful piercings. The girl had to push in to both piercings more than once, and when she pushed and halfway through, she left the actual thing in my nose and ear with my ear. She actually stopped in the middle of it, and kept talking to her associate next to her. I was very disappointed , I actually feel really ripped off as well because I spent extra money on the actual piercing jewelry.The young lady at the front desk was unbelievably nice though and the place was very clean There A lot of people there in the wait was a little over two hours.again, I am very very disappointed. Yes, it was two piercings for $23 but they fail to tell you that it’s an apprentice doing permanent piercings on your body.The piercing in my tragus is also too high but what am I going to do and I’m basically screwed. I can’t get it re-pierced.some businesses do so well that they forget that things can happen, and dontalways care to their clients because they’re so busy.So I feel totally screwedThe nose piercing was terribleI have had these piercings done before and know how they are supposed to be DONE!!!You THREAD THE NOSE JEWELRY IN WHEN YOU PIERCE IT.YOU DONT JAM OT HALF WAY THROUGH THEN LET THE PERSON SIT THERE!!!Then KEEP JAMMING IT THROUGH.THEN JAM THE PIERCING THROUGH.SAME WITH TUE TRAGUS!!!And what MADE IT WORSE WAS TUAT SHE STOPPED THROUGH IT AND STOPPED TO TALK TO HER CO WORKERI AM VERY UPSET..

Waited 2 hrs for a piercing, there was only one piercer who looked annoyed and had a attitude, Arrived at 12:45 and it was already packed but decided to wait… stayed 2 hrs for nothing.

Went here for a cartilage piercing the staff is sweet but I was told there were no flat back earrings and she put my butterfly back on so tight that my piercing got swollen and the front of the piercing went inside of my ear because there was no room to breathe go somewhere more professional

Went their to get an ear piercing came out good, The person no longer works their, want to go back for another piercing but don’t know if the other will do just as good of job

Had a good experience at the body shop. It was clean and very welcoming. I got my nose pierced by seniah. She was very patient but quick n efficient. Definitely would recommend. 😁

They arent sanitary, their jewelry is fake, and theyre low key rude. Not knowing any better I got my nose pierced there and I always wondered why its never healed after two years.. their jewelry gave me constant infections 0/10 would NOT recommend.

I love this place so much I love that theres not really an age requirement for a piercing. Everybody is friendly the environment is so clean and welcoming and the little dog is so cuteee. I will definitely be coming back for more soon.

The only issue I only have is that receptionist should have more knowledge on products to help the artist out I had to literally wait on hold for a piercer to come out of bathroom to find out the size of the tongue ring I have to order.

Dont get your ears piece here, my daughter did and the earrings where impossible to remove. Went back to have them removed, was charged $20, and was told they have to use those because they stay in longer really.Find somewhere else to piece your ears.
