I took my daughter here to get her nose pierced and then to have her stud replaced with another one a few months later. Steve is an incredibly talented human being and a humble businessman. His staff is pure awesomeness as they explain EVERYTHING from start-to-finish. Pride is taken in keeping the facility very clean and organized.Some might argue that Steve’s ink prices are a little high per-hour compared to others, but you’re getting hands-down one of the best ink artists in the entire world. He is also a residential neighbor of mine with many years of positive testimonials from people who know him personally.I highly recommend Tormented Souls!

I Recently just got a tattoo here by Steve and he was very professional and friendly, as well as the rest of the staff. He took the time to fit my design perfectly and made sure it had everything I wanted. He also stayed an hour past closing time to make sure mine was finished and to my liking. I have gotten tattoos all across Long Island but I will definitely be coming here from now on.

My boyfriend got an amazing tattoo done there. The staff is friendly and the place was so cool and decorated awesome. Steve was the artist, he was very professional, talented and made the experience enjoyable. Definitely getting my next tattoo done there!

I brought a photo of a tattoo that I wanted to Steve and he worked on that photo to rearrange the design so that it would fit perfectly. It was time well spent. The placement was perfect and the tattoo was done in a timely manner. After trying 6 different artists, Steve gave me the best tattoo at a great price. The whole crew of tormented souls tattoo and piercing are great at what they do. Steve the owner is an exceptional tattoo artist and can pierce when his wife is not present. Alexandria his wife handled most of the piercing day in and day out and does an exceptional job at it. John is a well traveled tattoo artist and knows his stuff. Julia is an exceptional tattoo apprentice offering great tattoos for a discount and Danny handles piercings when Alex is not around and picks up exactly where she left off handling herself in a very professional and reassuring way. All employees of the shop even the owner is free to set up appointments and handle any questions you may have for yourself or any friends or family. All in all 5/5 for tormented souls i have received work from everyone in the shop and can whole heartedly recommend this place to anyone who hasnt tried it and are looking to get a tattoo or piercing of any kind.

I went there because I had a small issue with my piercing. The lady (which Im guessing was the owner) was the nicest person ever. She was so helpful and even teached me how to take care of my piercing. Would recommend 100% this place!

I have gotten both sides of my nose pierced here. The piercing experience was amazing, the staff was very friendly and professional. They are very accommodating and care about their clients. The place was very clean and the piercing happened very quick I was in and out about 20 minutes. The reason I am knocking some stars off is due to the placement of the piercing. Looking at myself in the mirror the piercings are not symmetrical at all. The new piercing is much lower than my other. It makes me feel like I look stupid and I am beating myself up about it constantly. If the piercing was in the correct spot I would have given 5 stars. I’m a little upset especially because I constantly recommend this place to others.

I came to Steven to refresh a 32 year old tattoo that I originally got in basic training. It was so faded he couldn’t tell what it was. I described it and pointed out the features and he pulled books with similar tattoos for us to look through. We were able to find some elements that were similar to mine but nothing he could use exactly as a reference. He then took a picture of it and started playing with the image in photoshop to pull out the details. We took over an hour figuring out what he needed to do. He was patient and thorough and didn’t even charge me for that time. Then he got to work and 70 minutes later I had the exact image back on my shoulder with even better detail than the original. Extremely pleased with his work and I’ve already showed him what I want to do next. Highly Recommend.

Alexandria did my septum piercing. She was very patient with me as I forgot to take out cash and was kind enough to trust me to go run to take some out. Wonderful service, polite, friendly, and very clean. Piercing was painless and fast. Placement was perfect. I love my piercing. Thank you for the great experience!

1 year ago I had to get an MRI. TS took out my nose hoop & it turns out the hole I had many yrs was partially healed over. I got the MRI, missed my nose hoop right away and went to some other piercing place that was open late at night. BIG MISTAKE.I went back to TS with what is known as “cheese cutter” effect from the new piercing, where the hoop/hole was being pulled down bc it was too tight against my nostril. TS took it out/told me to let it heal 3 months and to come back. So I did.They communicated SO WELL with me. They warned me that my cartilage may be too weak to pierce again but were willing to give it a try because it was so important to me that my hoop went back where I always had it. They talked to me about which hoop I liked best/was good for a re-piercing.Here I am one year later, loving my perfect nose hoop. I am so thankful they put my hoop back where it belongs - part of my body and all the journeys I take. Hands down I would recommend TS to anyone. The waiting room art is so gorgeous in a macabre way and the people are exceptionally kind and patient - they really want you to go home happy!

This is the third time I’ve been here. The environment is such a family vibe. All of the artists are professional and super talented. Steve has done both myself and my daughter’s tattoos and we are customers for life.

I’ve had a few tattoos done by Steve over the past several years. I’ve also had other tattoo artists in the past and I would not get another one done by anyone else. Yes, as others said, he has a very high attention to detail but what is more important and twice as impressive is his determination to get everything exactly the way you want it. My high school daughter just had a piercing done by Gianna and she is equally happy with the results. This parlor is very clean and the staff is great. A+

Came in with my girlfriend for a walk in piercing, just one additional piercing in each ear in the lobe so nothing fancy but we were in and out in 20 minutes tops and she was happy with the result. Will definitely be considering them when I go back to finish my sleeve. Super clean shop as well.

My girlfriend went to get her nostril pierced, it healed after awhile and then she went to get it changed to a hoop. They didnt put the hoop in all the way and it healed halfway closed and she has to get it repierced elsewhere because we will never come back to this place. Total negligence on the piercers part and should really be more experienced if theyre working in a tattoo shop.

Steve is an awesome tattoo artist and really takes the time to perfect what you are looking to get. I got this spooky cabin in the woods cover up tattoo and you can’t even see what it used to be! I’m so happy with the results and will definitely be back for more tattoos.

First and for most the owner Steve is an amazing artist I found his work online and called up the shop for a consult the girl who works in the front invited me over to speak to Steve on what I was looking to get done. I drove over and met him. he is super professional. Friendly staff very family oriented . Day of the tattoo Steve was ready to start soon as my appointment was scheduled he got rite to work and didn’t disappoint I have gotten 2 tattoos so far and I will be back for more his work is amazing takes pride in his work and makes sure the client is always happy def recommend anyone looking for great work to go visit Steve or any of his employees at tormented souls they all do great work great shop !!!!!!

When looking for a shop to get my first big piece done, I came across tormented souls. I called for a consultation with Steve and was told to come in the next day. This place is absolutely incredible!! I have 9 tattoos total, 3 of which came from Tormented Souls (partial half sleeve) and I can’t say enough good things. I’ve worked with all 3 artists and I can’t pick a favorite because they’re all wonderful. Steve, the owner, is meticulous and will make sure your piece looks EXACTLY right with an incredible eye for detail. Sal is a true creative genius. He knows how to make your ink pop with shading and flow for fully dimensional pieces that look like you can reach out and grab them. Woke up today and decided to get a spontaneous piercing and Im so happy I stumbled upon this shop! Definitely a hidden gem!! The sweet lady who pierced my left nostril did an amazing job at helping me around with the placement and the overall piercing experience itself. The piercers and artists are kind, compassionate and know exactly how to handle nervous customers. I love my nose piercing and will definitely be back. :)

Steve is the best tattoo artist around, and his daughter Gianna did a few of my piercings. I always feel welcome, and everything is sterile, clean, and explained until I feel comfortable.

I am 15 so hardly ever write reviews, but I felt like I needed to. I had my nose pierced here a few months ago, and the people there were so welcoming. It was definitely a nerve-racking experience going into a tattoo shop with my mom to get a piercing but as soon as the woman who was going to pierce, my nose greeted me, I knew that I was in good hands. The healing process was phenomenal and it is definitely my favorite piercing by far. I definitely recommend them for any type of piercings, and I will for sure be going back for any other piercings or maybe even tattoos when I am older.

Ive had two pieces done at Tormented Souls. My first by Gina last year, and a larger piece in progress with Steve right now. Excellent experience both times, and the work is awesome. Im 45 and this was my first experience going to get a tattoo. I was overwhelmed with the attention to detail and preciseness that went into the drawing of my tattoo. I had my first tattoo done by Steve yesterday. I cant say enough of great things about him. He really took his time and explained everything. Answered all my questions without rushing, and only started tattooing after careful measurements, design, and tailoring was done and it looked perfect. It came out better than I ever imagined. This was the best tattoo experience I could have had. I worked with Steve on the beginning of what will eventually be a full sleeve. Steve sat and listened to my vision and we got to work on on designing it. Steve is a master tattoo artist. He is friendly and welcoming. He cares so much about what you ultimately decide to do and is a perfectionist. I wouldnt go anywhere else! He covered an old tattoo that everyone else said was impossible to do, and no one would ever know its a cover-up. He did two new ones for me and I couldnt be happier! So worth the two month wait! If I could give Steve more than 5 stars I would!

I recently had an issue with an ex employee where I needed a touch up done on a tattoo that she recently did. She was not getting back to me to get the issue taken care of so I talked to Steve, the owner and explained what happened. Steve had me come in to do the touch ups and even did extra work on the tattoo to make me happy. I have never had an owner go above and beyond to make sure that a customer was happy the way Steve did and the tattoo looks great. Was researching tattoo shops and trying to find the right fit/right artist for me and was lucky enough to find Steve. I have been going to him ever since. Steve takes his time, always does the right thing, and always does a great job. The tattoos I have received from Steve are way better than what I had expected, everything looks like it was printed straight off a computer, the detail is insane. My experience here was incredible. I had a vague idea of what I wanted and when I showed up for my appointment, Steve helped me map out the tattoo until it was something I thought was really great. As the he was putting on the tattoo, the conversation never stopped between Steve, myself and my friend that I brought with me, and by the time he was done that tattoo looked amazing :) The ink is still healing so I cant see what it looks like at the moment, but 10/10, would get a tattoo here again. Steve is an amazing artist :DBonus points: making the appointment was easy, and the studio has tons of cool things to look at if you need visual stimuli as a distraction while the tattooing happens.

My son had his tattoo done here by one of the artists. He wasn’t happy with the way it came out. We met with Steve, the owner. He was a total stand up guy. He never made excuses for the the artist and promised to work on the tattoo until we were happy with it. He worked on it during two sessions and didn’t charge us a penny. We left happy —his a great artists— and he now has two customers for life.

Steve is a consummate professional. Ive had him fix tattoos from other places as well as do an incredible geometric tattoo and a beautiful color rich animal. The store is always clean and the people are very friendly and welcoming. For the level of service and tremendous outcomes he is reasonably priced. There are a lot of stores popping up all over the place, I wouldnt waste your time and money elsewhere- Tormented Souls is the place to go.

My boyfriend purchased me a gift card and booked an appointment with Steve for my birthday gift of a tattoo. I decided I wanted to cover up an old and ugly, bold, shamrock tattoo with writing that I had gotten about 13 years ago... my vision was to cover it with a Koi fish. Steve was extremely communicative prior to the appointment date when I would constantly bother him with questions and ideas. On the day of the appointment- I was greeted by other artists from the shop and immediately felt comfortable. Filled out the form, And then met Steve. He truly cares about what his customers want...we spent so much time working on the tattoo design TOGETHER. any input or ideas i had, Steve took the time to listen and create. Low and behold. Now I have the most incredibly beautiful Koi fish and you would NEVER know there is a tattoo underneath. I am so happy and look forward to returning soon

I got my first tattoo yesterday from Steve. He was great to work with, and helped me to define the design I wanted. Once he started tattooing, he was able to talk me through the pain, and was very patient if I needed to stop and breathe for a minute or two. The tattoo itself is high quality, and the line details are very good. If I decide to get more tattoos, Tormented Souls will be at the top of my list.

I LOVE TORMENTED SOULS. I came in for a simple rook piercing removal because I got it done at a sketchy place. Everyone on the staff was super kind, patient, chill and attended to me! I now have a new piercing place so PLEASE BOOK WITH THEM. They were super professional and fair with the price so I will be going back whenever I can.

Ive been going to Steve at Tormented Souls since I got my first tattoo on my 18th birthday. I have never had a bad thing to say about the shop or any of my tattoos. They are a really tight team of artists who absolutely love what they do and care about each and every client. I get compliments constantly on a blue rose tattoo that Steve did over four years ago because the blue ink is still as bright as it ever was. This tattoo shop is always my number one recommendation to anyone looking to get a new tattoo or even fix a preexisting one. Absolutely love this place and all of my tattoos that Steve has done.

The best place to go to.. Tormented souls is the best shop I have been to in long island. Alicia has been my fav artist for a while now and Im never disappointed. She has a very creative mind if you ever need help adding to a design or creating one. Her lines are very sharp and knows how to make sure the details are there. Got a recent tattoo from Tormented Souls in East Northport. I had all my other tats done by a different artist and it had been years since my last one. Met Sal and booked an appointment. If he is not the best artist, I dont know who is. Work was total quality. He took the time to form the tat around my ideas. Couldnt be happier with the final result. Tormented Souls is extremely well kept and clean. I felt comfortable from the second I went in there and my mother did too. I got a portrait done by Steve of my father who passed away when I was 9. I went in for a last minute decision septum piercing and LAURA was an absolute god send. She was so sweet and accommodating and to top it all off she was so professional with the piercing. Coming to this shop was my best tattoo experience and i have gotten a few. I went in to cover up a few old tats with one big new one and at first didnt know what I could do or if it was possible, but I found the owner Steve and the rest of the staff to be very helpful, creative, honest and professional through the whole process. You can tell the artists are vigilant to every detail of their work and the cleanliness of the procedure. I have no reason to ever look for another shop.

Ive had too many problems with the other tattoo artist that I just gave up on the idea of getting another tattoo. After 5 years (2004) I stopped into the old Kings Park address of tormented souls (2009) and I was immediately greeted by a soft-spoken bald-headed dude (Steve) lol.I was a bit skeptical from the last bad tattoo I got 5 years earlier at a shop in Islip,but I must say that Steve was the first tattoo artist that actually listen to what I wanted to have done. Hes touched up many of my old tattoos and made them look better than expected. Ive gotten work done by him 10 years ago that still looks persistent in shade and line work. I have been going to Tormented Souls since 2006 when they were located in Kings Park. I have never had an issue with any of the associates or their work, especially Steve. I got a helix piercing here and it was a wonderful experience. The piercer, Alicia, answered all of my questions and was super patient and respectful. Another woman held my ankles and reminded me to breathe as the piercing was happening and it couldnt have been more comforting. They also managed to comfort my super scared friend and we could not be happier with our new piercings! I came in for Steve to get a tattoo covered up. I heard good things about him and seen some of his work online which got my attention. I explained to him how two other shops told me it cannot be done and I must get it lasered out first. Steve said that he can do it without needing a laser remaoval and without the old tattoo bleeding through. He gave me a masterpiece of a realistic wolf. It looks awesome and came out great. It covered up everything and did exactly what I wanted. He is very honsest and nice, including the entire staff who are also very nice. Steve puts in time and is very enthusiastic to do work on you. The shop is very clean and great to be in. I highly recommend going to tourmented souls if you want some good dedicated work done.

I recommend Tormented Souls all the time, they offer a group of talented artist that can knock any style of tattoo that you want out of the park. My friend and I went here and got our cartilages pierced over the winter. The people there were very nice and were very informative, but I do not recommend getting pierced here. Both my friend and I had a very difficult time during the healing process, and I even went back to get it checked out and they said it was fine (just irritated). Fast forward 7 months later and we both went to a different piercing parlor to get them checked out again. It turns out that the piercer put the needle in on an angle, which significantly increased the healing time for us. Not to mention, it cost us $50 each for a piercing and at the other place we went to it was $35 (including jewelry).

I had a stick and poke fixed up by Steve and accompanied my mom to get her first tattoo. He explained everything and made sure we were comfortable. The tattoos are perfect and I’m extremely happy!

This review pertains to the piercers at tormented souls. i have gotten my nose and my double cartilages done here. i’m not trying to be negative, but i have 11 other piercings and therefore know when someone is unprofessional. after a year and a half of trying to heal, I had such bad keloids from my cartilage piercings that i had to get a professional to remove my hoops. he was horrified that they even pierced my cartilages with hoops in the first place, and commented that the jewelry was actually very low quality and contained nickel, which is not hypoallergenic or the best for new piercings.never ever let a piercer say that piercing you with a hoop is best. it makes the hole heal curved and creates friction when the hoop moves, making it form scar tissue like mine did. when i got my nose piercing done here, it was placed WAY too high and had to be redone, and the stud she pierced it with was not the right size so it actually sunk INTO the hole. go here for tattoos, i have friends that have had great experiences with their tattoo artists. but getting a piercing here is not the move.

After 30 years of contimplating a tattoo... I’m so happy I went to the best of the best. The experience was awesome. A comedy show, therapy session, and nutrition class all rolled into one. Tattoo came out perfect 👍🏻Steve is a solid smart and funny man that I’m glad to call a friend.

When youre getting a tattoo, you dont want someone to just trace an image onto your body - you want an artist. Ive had a number of tattoos done at Tormented Souls, all by Regina (Gina). While I generally come in with a decent idea of what Im looking for, Gina has found a way to create the most inspiring and meaningful pieces that fit my personality perfectly. Gina takes her time to ensure that each and every tattoo she works on is the next best piece shes ever done.

5 STARS FOR TORMENTED SOULS...about 2 weeks ago on a Saturday night at closing time, my daughter managed to get her piercing stuck. We were panic stricken because for a type 1 diabetic that can turn serious pretty quickly as diabetics are prone to irritation and infection. We called the store and asked if it was possible to head over for help. Not only did the employees wait for her, they stayed late to help her free up her piercing! I was told that REGINA was one of the employees. They went above and beyond that night! That speaks volumes about their business ethic and customer committment! I got my first tattoo there about ten years ago and recommended them to both my kids! TORMENTED SOULS is a great shop with a great owner and staff! A million thanks!

About a year ago, I walked into Steves shop desperate to find someone who could cover up a tattoo that was a huge source of unhappiness for me. Prior to that day, I was told by other artists that there was little they could do and I was better off getting it removed and starting over.But not Steve.Through his creative thinking, vision and patience, Steve was able to take the flawed canvas of my arm and transform it into something vibrant and original. He didnt see what was originally there as a limitation, but as an opportunity to express his gift and challenge himself to find answers.Thats what a true artist does.Cant recommend this shop any higher.

Terrible ear piercing experience. I took my 15 year old sister to get her second hole ear piercing and within a couple of days it was badly infected.A couple of things went wrong.First shes 15 and they didnt allow me to be by her side and be a part of the process. I know this prevents from interfering with the process, but it also prevented my sister from using her best judgment as to what earring to use, where specifically it should be placed, and if she felt comfortable after with it.For the aftercare they simply suggested she clean it with Dial soap, no other cleanser to prevent infection. I don’t know if that was the issue or that the earring itself that was tight on her ear and of cheap quality.Definitely dont recommend.

The only place to get a tattoo. The staff is always very friendly and professional. I love when you have an idea for a tattoo and they go right to the books or computer to help bring the tattoo to life. Steve, Gina and Alicia are the greatest. Totally recommend going here.

Bad tattoo artist and worst business man!! I’m not one to write reviews but I don’t want anyone to have to go through what I am. Steve did on tattoo for me that was an good copy on my leg but got swollen and painful for weeks. I gave him another chance a year later I asked him to do the tikki god of the sea for a coverup on my shoulder, he changed the face of the god and tried to freehand the tattoo, I was not happy and showed a couple other tattoo artists and they all said the lines were terrible and maybe he was on drugs when he did it because no tattoo should ever look like this, both artists stressed to not go back to him. I told Steve my concerns and he said “you signed a contract and I can draw whatever I want” so I told him I was not happy and will not go back based on his reaction and other professional opinions. I asked for a refund to put toward the removal of this bad tattoo, and he refused. He also made an appointment that I told him I could not make to begin with, then he wouldn’t even give me my deposit back on the appointment I didn’t want. Now it’s going to cost me thousands of dollars to remove this poor attempt at a coverup. I guess I should have done my research and went to a real artist not a copier.

I was in my twenties When I got into a bad car accident I have a nasty scar that was tormenting me for over 30 something years I was getting a haircut next door to a tattoo shop Im walking just so happens to be on old friend Steve I hadnt seen in years I asked him to look at the scar to see if he can do anything with it to cover it up He told me he could I decided to get a whole My whole left arm done after you covered up the 1st scar which was the worst my its worst my self esteem Went through the roof I would recommend this shop to everybody very clean shop everybodys down-to-earth and very nice thank you sir for giving me my self esteem back youre the best

The studio is fantastic- Its starts with the cool decor and continues with super friendly people. Regina did a fantastic job on a cover up and provided me with an original that I absolutely love. Its clear to me that this studio cares about it clients- They are the real deal!

I wish I could give 0 stars. This places morals are in question. This is worth reading.To start, I am a disabled veteran and a recipient of the purple heart. I put 5 years of thought into the sleeve which I want as a reminder of my service and the sacrifices which my fellow service members have made. I specifically picked Gina at tormented souls because I thought she did really good birds, as there will be two in my sleeve.I called to check availability for Gina, she actually answered the phone and told me that she was currently free. I told her that I was on my way, I stopped by the bank to get cash and it was about a 30 min drive to the shop. When I arrived , she was just starting a tattoo with a walk in customer. I found this to be very rude, since I did speak with her and I told her I was on my way.So I understand that this is a business and I wasnt even mad that I drove all the way down there for no apparent reason. I then scheduled an appointment with her and left a $100 deposit ( as she requested )The day of my appointment I had found out that my son was in the hospital because he was attacked by a dog, which the mother of my children had lied to me about. I went to the precinct and was going from hospital to hospital trying to find my son. She had called me during my search for my son and I explained to her the situation and tried to reschedule .She then told me that I would lose my deposit if I didnt come in that night, which was obviously out of the question.I honestly dont know how you could run a business when you have employees with such morals.

Just had a 30 year old tattoo redone, Steve did an outstanding job, better than the original. Thankssecond job i have had done there, and i have recommended family members in the past, all work was done professionally and the results are all terrific!

This place doesnt even deserve 1 star. My sister wanted to get a piercing and has severe anxiety so she needs someone she knows to be there with her. When i called to make the appointment for her (because she cant call because of her anxiety) i told them she needed me back there with her and they said no. They were not understanding of her mental health issues whatsoever. I understand them wanting things to be sanitary but they should understand someones mental health. Im disgusted by their lack of compassion for my sister. Dont ever support a place that doesnt understand mental health!!!!

Came here and just got my first tattoo by Gina. I felt very comfortable in the shop. Tattoo came out just how I expected it to and more. Place was recommended from a friend and I would definitely recommend it to anyone else. Great place, and will be going here in the near future.

I joined my sister to ask questions for a pricing and a tattoo consultation an everyone there was extremely nice and really helpful, and I honestly loved the decorations. I would definitely go there again for a piercing that I’ve been wanting.

Steve is in the process of redoing my tattoo I got years ago. He has freehand re-drawn it on my arm. It looks amazing and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a tattoo.

Got most of my tattoos done here, very professional staff, very sanitary and safe place to go if your thinking about getting any tattoos or piercings. All the artists here are extremely talented so you cant go wrong.

Literally awful. The piercers don’t know anything - they peirced my belly button with a post that was way to small and ignored my concerned after i saw it, telling me it was going to be fine. The peirced hole ended up getting as large as the top ball and also got infected - mind you i wasnt even swelling. Terrible and negligent peircers

I don’t wish to leave negative reviews but I have to leave a warning about this one. The ladies are quite nice but DO NOT. Get pierced here. Do not. I went for a septum and it was pierced in the wrong location and didn’t sit right at all. Then, it needed to be taken out as a result and got stuck in the process. Eventually i needed to step in and try to take it out myself because the ladies there couldnt do it, not to mention that the lady who pierced me wasnt the one even helping me, as the lady who pierced me didnt really seem to pay attention to much of what I was saying while she moved on to tattoo another nor was sheable to guide me with basic piercing knowledge. Thank you to the lady who helped me but it wasn’t even the piercer. I was bleeding down my shirt after i pulled it out after ten minutes of us trying. I did not get a tattoo here ever so I can’t speak on that,but DO NOT get pierced here.
