My Mom and I both got shark tooth tattoos by Amanda today to symbolize our shared love of fossil hunting. I also got a special piece to symbolize my love for my fur babies and in memory of the two I’ve lost. Amanda was AMAZING. Super sweet and talented! The shop is very clean. I highly recommend Amanda as an artist!

Catrina is such an amazing piercer. I’ve been going to her for almost a year now. I went there last August for my second lobes and I was so nervous, but she has such a calming aura and way of talking that it made me confident to get the piercing. Later that year, in November, I went for my right helix and conch once my lobes healed. Another amazing experience. Now it’s been almost a year, and I just got my industrial done. All my piercings have been quick and painless. She’s such an amazing piercer, and I had no issues with any of the piercings she’s done. She’s the only person I trust to “stab” me. I definitely recommend her to anyone; even those I have recommended appreciated her professionalism and knowing what’s best for her clients. Please go see her ! She’s the best !

I had gotten my vertical labret and my tongue piercing done here and they both went amazing. The shop was so clean as well. They were pierced by Catrina and she was the sweetest person. She was gentle and made sure i was okay when she pierced me. The piercings went so smoothly and i would definitely come here if i get anymore done!

A hidden gem ! I have been all over the town just to have my dermal removed and NOBODY in the area would take my dermal out except for Catrina ! She was able to remove it in less than 5 minutes and was so gentle while doing so. She also pierced my other side of my face with a dermal the placement was perfect , shes clean as hell and has a huge jewelry selection. If I could give her 10 stars I would. If you ever need any piercings this is the place to go lets not forget they discount on Tuesday!!!! Thank you so much catrina for helping me when Noone else could. Omg! I love this whole shop but Gabby is my Fav!! If you like lots of color shes the one to see. She did such a good job on all my tattoos. I even had her touch up another tattoo I had because the color was faded. Cant wait to get back in with her so she can finish my sleeve.

Catrina is great and very helpful. I was having issues with getting old jewelry out. Come to find out you needed tools for the type or earring. She fit me in her schedule quickly. She was fast and efficient. I even went back to her to help me choose new hoops. (that don’t require tools). Unfortunately a long time hole was quickly closing. Luckily I had her to help me. Catrina is hygienic, professional, and kind. I will be going back to her again!

After all of these great reviews, I decided to go see Catrina. I needed my nipples to be repierced and was super nervous. Catrina addressed all of my concerns and was super knowledgeable. Her room is comfortable, clean and such a great vibe. She had me super relaxed as we were talking and laughing the entire time and then before I knew it, she was done. I will never see another piercer, she is the absolute best!

I had Catrina do my navel piercing. Throughout the whole time she was lovely. I am scared of needles and she guided me through the whole process and calmed me down. She was clean and quick (even though I delayed the process because i panicked) and i highly recommend this place !!

Catrina did my daith piercing a few months ago and I have nothing but great things to say about her. I went to another shop before seeing her who told me I didn’t have the anatomy for the piercing, but I sent her some pictures and she said she could do it. I had an issue where the piercing unhooked and I couldn’t get it back in my ear, and she had me in and out helping me out. I’ve had quite a few questions that I’ve DMed her about on instagram and she is very quick and responsive. I did have an issue with a piercing bump for a little while, but I’m sure this is nothing she is to blame for, as everyone’s piercings heal differently depending on your follow up care. She suggested I try an aspirin paste which did the job! I would definitely recommend her and go back

Catrina is the best piercer. I been goin to her since she been at lone sparrow. She is nice, gentle, quick, she talks you through everything. She gets down she does not play. Her work speaks for it self.

My boyfriend and I very rarely do reviews but we have to say Zack was phenomenal. We loved that you can tell that he loves what he does, he’s a perfectionist. Our tattoos came out way better than we expected. It was just a great experience all around. Will be back asap.

Excellent piercer and tattoo shop! I absolutely love Heather. She does amazing work. She is great at getting back to you in a very quick, professional manner. She puts her customers/clients first and I really appreciate that. In September, my whole family and I had gotten our noses pierced by her and I couldn’t think of anyone else to go to when I wanted to get my ears pierced again. Today, I got my second (helix) and third piercing (second earlobe piercing) done by her and it was just as amazing as the first. My sister had the same done and she was just as thrilled with Heathers work. Likewise, my mom also got her eyebrow pierced and was so excited by the results. It is always a group of us when I go, and she is not only very accommodating to this but also makes it more fun. We always get pictures and she allows us to ask a bunch of questions about the piercings. I have a pretty bad allergy to latex, and she was very understanding and caring about this issue. She takes her time while also making you feel at ease. In addition, the tattoo studio and art around the place was just as nice. Everyone in the shop was very friendly and helpful. The place was super clean, and the design of the shop was very cool as well. I am definitely coming back whenever I want to get a piercing or seek out my next tattoo.

I had a great experience with Chris Zack. I found his Instagram and loved the work he did. He was incredibly patient and attentive. After our initial consultation, I was able to be scheduled a month later for my tattoo. The tattoo came out gorgeous and has gotten me many compliments on the detail and line work. I am looking forward to returning to the shop and working with Chris again.

I called to see about availability and Allen fit me in within the hour. He was super cool, calm, and genuine. The shop was clean, comfortable, and modern. I wanted my moms handwriting with one of her famous sayings and he brought it to life. I’ll definitely be back to see Allen!

This studio is huge and so bright and clean. I followed my tattoo artist Jay Bengtson (@jayzinktattoo) here and highly recommend the location and Jay himself. He has now done three tattoos for me and honestly I hope to continue to get tattoos from him for as long as he’s tattooing. He’s so chill, easy going, and beyond talented. Went to get piercings during their $25 Tuesday special, and Catrina was amazing! The shop is very nice and clean. She is very easy to talk to and answered all the questions I had. She is very quick and efficient with the piercings. It was such a good experience that I will be coming back.

Piercings by Catrina was absolutely amazing. Honestly one of the best experiences I have ever had. She was able to answer all of my questions including anatomy questions making me feel at ease and comfortable with my placement decision. Very clean, very organized, and just a wonderful upbeat friendly personality. Best part was she doesn’t linger with the needle! Her movements are fast and precise making the entire experience fast and easy.

I got three ear piercings here and it was great! I came in an hour before close as a walk-in and they were very kind and eager to do what I wanted! On Tuesdays they even have great deals on both piercings and tattoos. Everyone there was very kind and respectful. This was one of the best experiences I’ve had!

I’m from minnesota and piercers up there are garbage. I’ve had one positive experience but i was looking into this place for a couple days prior to visiting, Catrina did my septum today and did an amazing job, she was very patient with me because i was scared and did outstanding. She’s very talkative which helps with the anxiety. If you’re thinking about coming here i would so recommend it! It didn’t hurt for me at all and she was very kind and gentle. 10/10 from me

All of the staff is so sweet! I went and got my nose pierced by Catrina; I was petrified but she made the experience so comforting and fast! It barely hurt and it was super quick, and it healed so nicely too. I’m definitely going back again!

A friend and I went to see Catrina for piercings yesterday for their amazing deal ($25 piercings on Tuesdays) and wow, were we impressed! The shop is professional, exceptionally clean, and very well organized. Catrina was incredibly personable and knowledgeable about piercings, making us instantly feel comfortable with her. I absolutely LOVE their piercer catrina. she has done 90% of my 25 piercings and i’ve had an amazing experience every single time. she will make sure you look amazing and tell you all the right after care essentials, she’s so informative. She makes you feel so comfortable in the piercing room and walks you through each and every step she does, answering every question you have. she’s so nice and sweet and you can tell she knows what she’s doing. all my piercings have healed amazingly following her after care steps. If you’re going to go to anyone, PLEASE do yourself a favor and go to catrina, you will not regret it.

My sisters and I got tattooed by Zack! The shop was clean and comfortable and Zack was very friendly and professional. The tattoo looks great as well! Keep in mind that Zack is currently handling all of his booking by himself - as such, he can become overbooked / get behind schedule. We showed up to our appointment only to be asked to either wait quite a while or return the next day. We opted to return the next day and still ended up waiting. It can understandably be hard to predict how long each piece will take, so I recommend confirming your appointment with him on the day of!

Drove 4 & a half hours to Legacy Tattoo from Virginia Beach & the drive was more than worth it! As a collective the team there was very nice & friendly. Nobody was loud or being unprofessional, all the artist were professional. Now specifically speaking I booked with Tate (the shop owner). Communication before booking all the way to the very end of the tattoo was amazing. Very friendly & nice guy, made sure I was comfortable the whole way through. Had good conversation to kinda of distract me from the pain of the tattoo. Very clean shop all the way through. Tate knocked out my quarter sleeve horror piece in 4 hours with amazing detail & didn’t take any shortcuts so we could finish faster. The piece came out absolutely incredible! Nothing but kindness as soon as you enter the front door!! When I entered, I was greeted immediately. Check-in process was super easy. Got my tattoo done by Jordan. He was super attentive to what I wanted and sketched out a beautiful piece that was beyond my expectation. He was great!! Super friendly and very professional and made sure that I was comfortable the whole time I was there. The session flew by with the conversations we would have. Catrina is amazing. She re-pierced my daughter (she didnt do it originally), and was super gentle and kind. Catrina is very knowledgeable and professional! She also offered great advice to get rid of a piercing irritation. Her advice worked in less than 1 week. Catrina also pierced my ears. Of no fault of hers, one of my earrings broke. However, she came in to make it right ON HER DAY OFF! That is professional & the definition of going above & beyond for her clients. I HIGHLY recommend Catrina!

Chris Zack did my tattoo and I love it!! I am super happy with his professionalism, his attention to detail and his patience. He worked really hard to give me exactly what I wanted and it turned out precisely how I envisioned it. The shading is incredible and the colors are rich and life like. Wanted to get matching tattoos for me and my daughter for her bday. Was told to come in 12-7 for the Tuesday special. I told them I’d be there. Well I get there after work around 530 and they are walking out. I ask are they closed, they said yes. I asked did they cancel the Tuesday special, they said no, they just decided to close early and went on about their business. Poor customer service if you ask me. Now my daughter is upset because she was really looking forward to this bday gift today. Smh 🤦🏽‍♀️

Ive now had two wonderful experiences at Legacy. Both times I was with the artist C. Zack, and he did amazing work. My tattoos are clean and match my requests perfectly, even though I had asked for a lot of difficult fine line work. Along with all that, Zack is a wonderful person to talk to as well! We clicked immediately and he made the whole nervous feeling of getting a tattoo go away by just holding a conversation with me while he worked. The whole atmosphere of the shop is very welcoming and non-judgmental, and Zack embodies that attitude fully. Ive returned once and I will be returning many more times in the future.

Chris Zack has done 3 of my tattoos now and has exceeded my expectations every time. About a year ago he did matching ones for me and friend and his line work was so good I had to come back. Yesterday I went in and started what I’d like to finish as a half sleeve and his professionalism and attention to detail is through the roof. I would recommend him to anyone and look forward to seeing him again.

Jordan is hands down the best tattoo artist I’ve had so far. From the moment I entered the shop to the moment I left, he made sure I was taken care of. The check-in part was simple, once done, Jordan then greeted me up front and showed me the different sketches he came up with for my idea. All the options he showed me were great and we eventually picked the one I liked best. From there the rest of my experience with him was such a breeze. He was courteous and made sure I was comfortable at all times as he was tattooing me. At the end, I was satisfied with how it came out. I highly recommend going to him and the shop to get your tattoos done!! 😁😁

My mother went in today for a tattoo dedicated to my great grandmother a simple heart with an angel wing and her finger print within the heart, Tate made he super comfortable and did an amazing job. not only is his work super high quality, the shop in itself has a wonderful atmosphere, is SUPER clean, and is coming together very nicely. he also touched up a lily and added some much needed detail, making the tattoo 100X better than it was before. thanks so much! prices are also extremely reasonable, would recommend this shop & artist to anybody looking for quality work in an amazing environment.

On 10/22/19 I visited Legacy tattoo and lets just say from the moment I walked in I knew this tattoo shop was full of talent they had amazing tattoos throughout the walls. I was greeted immediately. My tattoo artist was Zack who was very knowledgeable and helped me throughout the steps for fulfiling my memorial tattoo. The tattoo is everything I expected and more. Heather did an amazing job with my piercing she even took the extra step to help me pick out a rhinestone and explain to me the healing process and the procedural steps she would be doing. Great team Great place! Highly recommended.

Legacy Tattoo and Art Gallery is a welcoming environment with beautiful art and a courteous and professional staff. Tate Woodruff has done my last three tattoos and I will not go to anyone else! He is an amazing artist, very detail oriented, extremely patient, and thorough! Each tattoo has been very intricate and Tate listened to my ideas and gave meaningful insight while still allowing my personal creativity to shine. I continue to receive compliments on each of them! I always sing Tate’s praises, but am conflicted because I want to keep him to myself!

Becca Boyd did an amazing cover-up tattoo for me on 5/9/21. She met with me several times beforehand and looked at photos I had and really listened to what I wanted. She also let me reschedule after a death in my family with no problem. The shop is clean and well-lit, with beautiful artwork on every wall. The staff were all very friendly. The day of the tattoo, Becca took her time hand drawing the tattoo, checking in with me every step of the way to make sure that I was happy with the design. During the tattoo, Becca made sure I was comfortable. The tattoo took less time, was less painful, and less expensive than any other tattoo I’ve gotten (this was my 5th), but is by far the best looking. Becca went over the aftercare thoroughly. I took off the thin permeable membrane today (4 days after the tattoo), and it healed beautifully and looks great! I can’t speak highly enough about Legacy Tattoo! Strongly recommend!

Had gotten a tattoo done a few days ago and couldnt be more happy. Jesse did an awesome job and has great bed side manner. Store is clean and atmosphere is great.

I have gotten a few tattoos done from different shops but Legacy has been next level. Everyone has been friendly and professional, super quick turn around with responses, and keep their studio clean and safe. I’ve been working on getting a full black and grey sleeve with Zack and he has delivered on everything I have asked and more. First session was 7 hours, (yeah my skin gave out before we did haha) and I slept through some of it he is that good! Clean lines, attention to minor details, and he obsesses with getting the shading just right! My second piece was an anatomical heart with flowers on my forearm, definitely took his time and did research to make the heart was accurate as possible, and each flower has its own shading detail that brings them to life. Highly recommend Zack and the rest of the crew!

I had a great experience here this past Saturday when I went in for the second session for my Medusa tattoo done by Zack. His level of detail on the snakes and the flowers he put around the piece is fantastic. His line and shadow work are also really beautiful. The shop is clean and fresh and there is plenty of parking. You can tell the artists put a lot of care into their shop, their art, and their clients. Highly recommend both Zack and Legacy.

I’ve been going to the same tattoo artist for 7 years. He has done 11 of my tattoos and majority of my piercings. Since his passing, I’ve been reluctant to get anymore tattoos until today with my best friend. Tate was very gentle, outgoing, incredibly sterile and thorough with his work. Ive been looking for an artist for about a year to rework a bad tattoo Id gotten previously. I finally stumbled across Becca and yesterday she tattooed me. I cannot say enough good things about Becca and the shop. Shes amazing, my tattoo was everything I hoped it would be and I didnt even really know what I wanted, but she put together this awesome, creative piece for me. She was super friendly and easy to talk to which is great, especially when someone is putting a needle into you thousands of times. Everyone else at the shop was super friendly, it was really easy to be comfortable there. The shop is spotless, and everyone is very professional. I have lots of tattoos and have been in a lot of tattoo shops. This place is hands down the best. I drove an hour to get tattooed, and I wont get tattooed anywhere else.

This shop is really nice inside and clean! I got a double helix piercing from Heather and it turned out great. She did such an amazing job and was very thorough. She is exceptionally passionate about piercings and helped me to decide what would look best and work for my ear shape. Her service is a 10 out of 10! Heather even took care of my son and let him play Xbox while she took care of me. I got the piercings done yesterday and they feel and look great. Not a lot of swelling and I already got compliments while I was out. I highly recommend if you want any piercings, to go see Heather here! The best piercing experience I’ve had thus far!

I’ve had 2 cover up tattoos done by Zack and I love them both. I also had a nostril piercing done by Heather. The shop is always super clean. The best tattoo shop I have been too! Very clean and the artist are friendly and down to earth. Ive had a few tattoos done by Jesse. He does amazing work. I can always trust that I can throw ideas at him and he will always come up with something amazing that fits what what I cant even explain when Im trying to describe what I want. Went to Zack for the first time for a sternum piece today and was not disappointed! He made me so comfortable through the entire process and really took the time to get to know me while remaining professional. His work is outstanding and is 100% worth getting on his wait list for. I can not say enough good things about this place! Tate is my absolute favorite and the only tattoo artist that I will go to. He’s done 2/3 of my tattoos and touched up my third one. I would highly recommend this shop. They are new on the block, but they do great work and are very clean/sanitary. All the artist I have met so far, Tate, Jesse and Zack are all pretty chill and cool guys. Definitely check them out if you havent done so already. The shop itself was stunning, clean and big! It’s beautiful.My artist was Tate, and he did a cover up on me. The original tattoo (the one he was fixing for me) was challenging, messed up bad and honestly misplaced on me....but he not only covered it up where it needed it but also fixed it passed my expectations; he nailed it!! The tattoo he did was amazing! I was happy with it! He was super kind, and legit added details in it that matched what I wanted! Piercing by catrina have done 6 of my piercings. I would never let any other piercer poke a hole in my body. She was explained everything she was doing, had a calming mannerisms and nothing was rushed.

I went to Tate with a vague idea about getting a horror-themed sleeve. He took that and expanded upon it to create a great work of art. I was so impressed with the way that he was able to piece together so many different characters and include every detail without it looking jumbled and cluttered. People are always noticing my sleeve and complimenting his work. It was even entered into the tattoo contest at the Baltimore Tattoo Convention last year and took 3rd place out of more than 50 entries from the best artists in the country. I’ve even sent both my kids to him, and we all have several great tattoos and still going. Tate is an amazing artist and I would highly recommend him for your next tattoo!

Brand new shop, same great artist’s. Tate’s done all my work and will probably be the last person to ever do it! Him and Jesse are both very experienced artists that can get done just about anything you want tattooed. Definitely recommend checking the shop out and setting up an appointment!

This was my first shop experience i have many tattoos self done but i made an appointment with chris zach for a piece i had been wanting for awhile on the front of my neck and it turned out excellent especially for being such an odd area which i imagine was difficult to work with but he did it and it came out awesome. also the shop is very chill environment and most of the artists use quiet rotary machines so it eliminates the anxiety of having a bunch of coil machines clacking away. great experience for my first time, highly recommend.

Zack was amazing. He made sure the outcome of my tattoo would be perfect. He believes in giving 110%. He was very knowledgeable. The process was easy and his assistant Lisa offered A1 customer service. I trusted him to do some linework and he didnt disappoint. Im ready to book my next appt already. The session was weirdly relaxing. Lol. Tattoo therapy at its best. I loved that the owner walked around and gave them all support. Everybody was welcoming.

I got matching tattoos with my boyfriend today at legacies and Zack had a very light hand compared to any artist I’ve had before. The pain didn’t even kick in till he started the color. He helped us design our piece and added changes that would make it pop on our skin to have a better final product. 10/10 would Recommend making an appointment super friendly great clean shop.

We went over to the shop after seeing Tate’s post about the Flash Tattoos (Friday the 13th inspired) promoting the new artist that have just joined the shop, upon checking in for our tattoo everything was very smooth and organized. We Met our artist Jordan Milburne who had the best personality ever as well as knowing how to make you feel very comfortable. He has a very good technique when it comes to tattooing as well as knowing how to talk you through the tattoo as he went along. As their was 3 of us that went together we each left very impressed as he mentioned he’s been interning at Legacy for about a year and a half now.Highly recommend Jordan Milburne for any of you‘re tattooing needs :)

My first trip to Legacy will definitely not be my last. I went in to get my septum pierce by Heather, she pierced my nose a year before. Shes the best piercer, I would highly recommend her to anyone whos looking for someone who takes their time and makes sure they are doing the best job they can do. The shop is beautiful, its clean and spacious. I plan on getting my next tattoo there.

I went here for a small-ish sized tattoo of my dog and the artist, Gabby, drew up a design that I fell in love with! I showed her a few pictures of my dog and she incorporated colors into it based off of the pictures along with dots and hearts. Not only was the tattoo clean and adorable, it was affordable. The whole experience was wonderful for me and I will definitely come back if I ever want another tattoo!

Heather is awesome !!! I got my nose pierced by her couple days ago . She’s very professional & cares about you being knowledgeable of your piercing and how to take care of it so you can have a great healing process. I decided to try this shop out on a whim and Im extremely glad that I did. I cant say enough positive things about Heather and her work ethic, I went in not sure if my anatomy was suited for what I wanted and she took the time and know how to discuss it with me. My friend and I went to go take advantage of their $50 Friday the 13th walk-in flash tattoo special for the month of October! We got there and the staff was personable and organized. The studio and each artist station was clean and had all necessary sanitization tools. Wait time was minimal and they kept us updated on where we were in line. My friend and I got tattoo’d by the artist there named Load, who was also personable, respectful, and funny! Load’s work was clean, sanitary, and overall well done and he answered all aftercare questions we had! Only thing I will say as a simple heads up is that the studio doesn’t currently have a card reader so be sure to bring cash OR you can pay the artists and for other products through Cash-App or Venmo! Can’t wait till my tattoo heals so I can add photos!

Just arrived home after my tattoo session with Tate. Everything turned out better than I expected. I have followed him on Instagram for quite some time and just had recently committed to him. The best piercer! She won’t pierce/charge if she doesn’t think the piercing will fit/position right. She gives you all the information you need before piercing and all the information you need for after the piercing, to clean, for when it heals, what size your jewelry is, and when you can change. If you need anything at all she is so polite and she will look at a piercing months after if you think something is wrong with it! She is absolutely amazing and so nice!!

This past summer, my boyfriend and I ended up stumbling into a tattoo shop in Havre de Grace since I needed some hoops for my ears. I ended up chatting with Becca for a while, then later looked her work up on Instagram (@cocabecca) and fell in love with her line work. Even though the shop was an hour north of where I lived, I was prepared to drive all the way up there when I was ready to get my very first tattoo. Fortunately, she had actually ended up moving down to Legacy in Edgewood, which is considerably closer to me.Eventually, I made an appointment and explained what I wanted, and she was very involved and enthusiastic throughout the process. I was so happy that she got what I was going for and, once I showed up for the actual tattoo appointment, she took her time making sure the design was perfectly sized and aligned. I LOVE the final product. Becca is SUPER talented, very patient, fun, and generally just an awesome tattooist and I am absolute going back to her for future work. This was an awesome first-tattoo experience! I cant recommend her enough.

Today I went to Zack and he completed a memorial tattoo for my dad who passed away 2 months ago. It’s a signature piece and I could not be more happy with it! I came in to get my first tattoo with my girlfriend and Zack did an amazing work on both of us. I was afraid it would hurt like my girlfriend had told me, but getting tattooed by Zack, the time flew by and it was no big deal. Im gonna be coming back to get my Supernatural tattoo. Thank you Zack!!!

Perfect place, excellent service! Fair pricing and everyone is so nice. All the artists are phenomenal, I recommend them to pretty much everyone I come across. Jesse has done atleast four (and counting) pieces for me and Im so happy with everything.

If there were more stars, I would give this place all of them. From concept to design to final product, I loved everything about this shop and my artist, Becca. Her assistant, Lisa, was also marvelous in helping facilitate communication and scheduling. Becca was attentive, gentle, funny and just all around TALENTED. I think this will be an annual event...

This was my second visit with Zack. And I will CONTINUE to come back here. I drive two hours to this shop, it’s a friendly and good environment to be in. Zack takes great care to ensure the piece is perfect and done with amazing detail! I will be back again and again!

The artist I dealt with was great even when he other artists had great conversation as lover of at and tattoos I felt right at home at legacy tattoo and definitely plan on going back to get more ink... the prices ard affordable the artists are easy to work with the receptionist is mad cute just wanted to throw that out there... all in all my experience was great and I’ll definitely be going back for more ink

Went in today and I can honestly say they are the most clean and professional shop I have seen in a long time. Zack was amazing from the time I came in he made me feel comfortable and was very attentive I’m so happy with the work and I will definitely be back .
