I am here visiting my daughter and son in law and my daughter and I wanted to get our second set of matching tattoos and I have wanted my nose pierced for a while now. Wes was great. He was funny and love his jokes.....highly recommend this place! They got us right in and taken care of. The guy who did my piercing was professional and i didnt even feel it when he did it!

I’ve been here once before for a helix piercing over a year ago and had a good experience so I decided to come back for a septum and just like before I had such a great experience. Immediately helped as I walked in, everything was clean and organized and my piercer (sadly I didn’t catch his name) was really friendly and funny. Any questions I had he’d answer with a good attitude and overall made me feel comfortable and welcomed. If I need another piercer I will be absolutely sure to go back! And the pricing isn’t too bad! Spent $50 for the piercing, not including tip!

Went to get my snakebites repierced today. Never going anywhere else for piercings. Shop is super clean, professional, and the piercers are chill and make the process super quick and easy!

Kim pierced my conch today and my friend’s second lobe piercings and we both had an amazing experience. She was incredibly thorough and made us both feel comfortable and they turned out amazing!! I highly recommend this place they are outstanding and affordable.

I cannot recommend EV tattoo and body piercing highly enough! My daughters first ear piercing experience was truly exceptional thanks to him. He handled the situation with such care and expertise. Despite her initial fear, he was able to calm her down and guide her through the process seamlessly. His patience and kindness were remarkable, and he even taught her how to breathe properly to ease any discomfort. The entire experience was smooth and painless, and my daughter left with a big smile on her face. Ryan truly deserves all the praise for his outstanding service. I am incredibly thankful for his professionalism and kindness. Highly, highly recommended!

Edit: response to your reply, you obviously didn’t read the review clearly.Went in for a tongue piercing initially and it was okay. It definitely felt a little rushed when finding the spot for it. The staff themselves were nice. Went back in halfway through the healing because of the jewelry. I understand you need room for swelling however, they wouldn’t even hear me out as to why I wanted to change early. I got told they wouldn’t do it until 2 weeks. The bar itself is causing the whole to not heal. They didn’t even want to look at it for me to even make sure it was pierced right. The ONLY pain I’ve had from it is from the bar itself. WHICH HAS BEEN PAINFUL. I’ve had plenty of piercings and do my research and something is not right. Fortunately My tongue has not swelled once because of it. Everybody heals differently and you should at least be open to hearing them out. Not to mention she sold me the wrong jewelry/ not enough of some I asked for because she was focusing on to many customers at once. I didn’t even get receipt to return.. not saying I won’t be back but I’ll definitely be cautious.

Very affordable prices. I dont remember the piercers name, but my daughter was very pleased with her results. She was very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. She made us comfortable and the atmosphere was great..highly recommend this place.

Can get crowded so plan ahead. Wonderful staff and nice jewelry selection. Ryan is my favorite piercer. Will return soon to decorate the other ear.

I was always so nervous to get piercings but once I started coming here, I didn’t stop. Ryan was very comforting and did a great job.

I do not recommend this shop based on our experience today. I took my wife here on 5/4/24 for an ear piercing when there was nobody else waiting on a piercing. We called beforehand asking if the take walk-ins and we were informed that they only do walk-ins. She filled out the paperwork and the receptionist took it back. Shortly after, 5 young women walked in all asking for piercings. After all 5 of them filled out their paperwork, they were taken back within a few minutes before us. We even heard some of them ask the piercer if they could get anothet piercing too, and he obliged them. At this point, we decided that if they took the other customer that had walked in after the group before they took my wife back, we would leave. Lo and behold, they did, so we left promptly and went to Dutch Touch where she was pierced within 10 minutes.I dont know if they are merely disorganized or if they saw the opportunity for more money with the other customers, but regardless it was extremely disrespectful. Spend your money somewhere that respects your time.

I’ve been pierced many times at different locations but i think i just found my new favorite spot. Ryan was literally the BEST, he made my friend & i feel so comfortable, got my flat pierced & my friend got his industrial. Pain was like 0/10. It was the best experience ever.

I got a tattoo here from Mike Mcwhorter, and its amazing. Hes super easy to work with and talk too. The tattoo healed up wonderfully. Id 100% come back again to him for another tattoo. The shop was very clean and nice, and the other tattooers there were very nice in passing. Definitely would recommend Mike if you want a beautifully done peice.

I loved my experience with E C tattoo and body piercing. Erica helped me with a jewelry swap and found the perfect flat back opal cluster studs for my ears. The shop was clean and everyone was super kind and helpful.

Wes is the best tattoo artist in town! Been there a few times for both tats and piercings, and they are clean, professional, polite, and have great senses of humor.I highly recommend Wes, and have to all my friends!!

Very clean, I liked walking in here and it just smells clear and fresh. I only bought some body jewlery but I can tell I might be back. Looks like a melting pot for some pretty dope artists. I’ll definitely be back for some body ink.

I’ve gotten my bellybutton and back dimples pierced here, and my experience was great. ryan is very kind and makes the setting really comfortable, especially if you’re nervous. I recommend this place 10/10 !

Went in as a Walk-in. Had what I wanted in a photo but Jose was nice enough to explain the pro’s and con’s of my idea. Super super helpful . So funny too!!! And I just loved his attention to detail. I would for sure come back to Jose for more work.

My daughter came in for her first tattoo. The start to a sleeve. She had a general idea of what she wanted, and Anthony went to the back and whipped up something amazing. It’s abundantly clear from the beginning that he loves what he does; he takes the time to listen and gives feedback. My daughter is absolutely stoked at how awesome her first tattoo came out, and will be going back for all of her other tattoos.

Ryan is THE BEST!!! My daughter got her septum pierced and this was her first experience and he made it awesome! He was fast efficient and very kind.

My Tattoo Artist, JoseEC Tattoo is now my Go To spot for all my Tattoo and Piercing needs! Staff is friendly and professional. I went it yesterday and wanted to get a pretty bad pick and poke tattoo I had re-done/fixed and some extra details added to it. I talked to Jose and I told him what I wanted and he drew it right up for me exactly how I wanted. I literally did not think it would be possible for it to come out ad great as it did! I would 10 out of 10 recommend see Jose or at least going to this shop if you looking to get any work done! I will definitely be back to get more Tattoos from Jose and will be my go to Artist from now on!

My boyfriend and I have been in and out for over a year getting both piercings and tattoos. The piercers get you in and out, and are very knowledgeable and just about answer any question you have in regards to all things piercings.Wes and Jose are both highly professional and extremely nice and friendly, as well as the other staff members who peek in on a session. Jose did some of my boyfriend’s tattoos, and Wes has worked with me and my boyfriend multiple times. He definitely makes every interaction feel like we’re catching up with a friend, and that offsets any nerves we may have had walking in.There was also this younger person who had a palm tattoo and glasses that always wore a mask, and they were really sweet up at the front and helpful with new jewelry selections for my boyfriend. Haven’t seen them in a bit, but they were got us in and out, and answered the questions my boyfriend had about stretching.Overall, a friendly, clean, affordable, and welcoming environment with great people that keep us coming back! :)

The receptionist in the front was very sweet, polite and professional. She made us feel very comfortable with our visit. Their piercer Ryan was funny, easy going and explained the process and even at home care. 10/10 would recommend!

Ive gotten both my nostrils, septum & a few ear piercings done here and have always left feeling like i was properly educated and taken care of. i go all the time for basic jewelry changes & to stretch my ears and even when theyre super busy the piercer always is patient and takes his time with all his patients. none of my piercings from here have given me issues and piercings that have from other shops ive come here to have assessed and theyve always been very educational and helpful. the prices for piercings and jewelry itself is also very very reasonable. i always reccomend this shop if youre from the area!

I had a great experience with Ryan! I was nervous to re-pierce my nose after it closed up 10 years ago but Ryan made the process pretty much as painless as it could be. The shop has a great vibe, is clean and has plenty of parking. Definitely would recommend this place.

I went with my cousin she was getting her first one I was getting my third. But the artist Tony was by far the most friendliest helpful artist ever he did such an amazing job I am literally never going to anyone else again!!! He’s now my new dude!!! Anthony did an Amazing job fixing a 20+ year old tattoo of my childrens names. It looks brand new. He is super kind with a great personality & an Awesome sense of humor. This shop is super clean. The staff is insanely friendly. The girl at the front counter (the tiny blond with short hair & platform shoes) is extremely courteous, attentive, friendly & super cute. Best place for Great tatt or a piercing (my son & daughter have both had piercings done here). This place is Amazing!

I took my 11 year old Daughter to get her eye brow pierced. Ryan took care of us. Hes so funny and set up a great mood. Especially for my nervous Daughter. I Highly recommend him & this place is so clean.

I came in to get tattooed by Waseem Sako and immediately I noticed how attentive he was to make sure everything about the design was to my liking and he was excellent to converse with through three hours of pain. If Im to get tattooed again, it will definitely be by him.

Love this spot. I walked in needing a jewelry change as my piercings were super irritated from jewelry I got at another piercing shop. Not sure who helped me out but he was great and very knowledgeable! He gave me a bunch of different options and recommendations for my piercings and took into consideration that my ears are very sensitive. He also didnt give off price gouging vibes or try to upsell the jewelry, he even gave me cheaper options which I really appreciated because most shops will just try to upsell the jewelry and get you to buy the most expressive pieces. He was quick and honest. I will be back for my future piercing needs.

I wasted 12 dollars trying to get another jeweler for my lip piercing. the person at front was sweet but when choosing out the jewelry, they couldn’t tell what my size was. she gave me a size we thought would work and I bought it yet it didn’t even fit. I tried to return it but there is a no return policy. first of all, how are u going to work in a piercing shop and not figure out my size? second, i get u can’t return used jewelry but then how are people going to know their jewelry sizes??😭😭😭

Great customer service and both my girls didnt feel much pain with getting piercing. 1 got upper lobes and other got tongue. Id go back again. Very happy with our visit

Mike is the best! I have several of his photo realism but this one is super special. I gave him complete creative freedom, this idea came to me from lyrics from Rodney Adkins song If your going through Hell He knocked this one out of the park!

Got my nose peirced with a friend. Ryan did our piercing I have had my nose peirced before and the initial peircing did hurt more than I remembered but I didnt even feel him put in the jewlery. Very cool guy and would definitely reccomend him for piercing.

I recently got (and by recent I mean a week) my tongue pierced here. I am blanking on the wonderful gentlemans name but he was super sweet. Talked me through the process and on the pain scale if say 3/10. It was quick and over before I really had a chance to focus in. The place was clean and open... I cant wait to down size and pick from all the options. Will be getting all my piercings done here from now on. The healing is going well thanks to the advice he gave me. 100% would recommend.

Did an amazing job! I walked in to get my secondary lobe piercing,and they took me right away. I was out in about 10 mins. Very clean, and very kind people. Prices are great! Will be coming back.

Got my septum pierced yesterday by ryan, it was such a good experience, and hardly hurt at all. the environment was very relaxing, (at least as much as it could be when you’re about to get a piercing, lol) and pricing is reasonable. I’m definitely coming back for any piercings in the future.

Great establishment. Very clean with beautiful artwork on the walls. When I called to see if someone could walk me through a piercing verbally before getting it, they were the 4th call I made and the first that was actually kind about it. Like I get it, if you want it just get it they have a job to do, but sometimes a gal just needs some reassurance.Anyhoops, I popped in and met Erica who let me browse the jewelry while she blazed through two other piercing clients. There was no pressure to follow through, but as soon I made my decision it was quick and clean. I dont even remember seeing the needle. She was so so kind and just crazy efficient. I would recommend her to anyone and when Im able to do some tattoos Ill be coming back here to meet with someone.I shouldve known they were the place to go when two mom friends took their daughters there and were happy. Mamas can be tough customers when it comes to their babies. Thanks Erica and the EC shop.Id post a pic, but... insecurities. HahaOh, and not a criticism really because they had a TON of jewelry, but I wouldve liked a couple more options in greens. I like green. I went with the one blue-green that reminded me of the Earth so I left very, very happy and I admit Im picky, like the cubic isnt my thing nor pinks or plain studs. So.. personal problems for being difficult lolOh, and Erica said I was welcome to come back when its time to change jewelry and they would help me with it. How awesome is that?

Had this piece done by Jose and he killed it. The scar is from an open fracture during a motorcycle accident that caused nerve damage in the area. He was extremely mindul of the placement and the pace that he tattooed at.

I’ve come in before for my navel piercing but my boyfriend, my friend, and I came in last night for our nose piercings and Erica was soo amazing! We were in and out in 30 minutes and she was very quick, gentle, and super sweet! Definitely come here for piercings (:

I went here n got 2 second lobe piercings and one third, cost 80 in total which is very cheap for three piercings imo. a lobe cost 30 but 40 if it’s on both side! the piercer n ppl at the desk were ncie! i would go again

First tattoo and piercing establishment I didn’t feel overwhelmed or intimidated by. All 3 of my teens got piercings, the piercer was very friendly and talkative with all of us. I even decided to get a small tattoo last minute while there. Great experience.

Ryan pierced my daughter and nieces ears and did a fantastic job. Both are happy with their lobe, cartilage and rook piercings. I totally recommend this shop.Update...Went back today for more piercings. Erica pierced us. My daughter got an I industrial and I got a conch. We are both very happy with our new piercings. Erica is very friendly and was super patient with me not knowing what I wanted when I walked in. If you want a piercing, this is the shop to go to. They accept both appointments and walk-ins.

Fifth times the charm!!!! Growing up, I’ve had my ears pierced four times. They always became infected. My buddy has gotten all his piercings here so they were highly recommended!! They were very friendly, professional, and extremely clean. They were very knowledgeable. And getting my nose pierced a second time there was hardly any pain. He was quick.My first piercing I got it done at White Moth Tattoo in Atascadero never again. He did not put the piercing all the way through my nose. He just pushed it into a little pocket between my skin. So my original piercing site ended up closing on one side. So I would highly recommend EC Tattoo and Body Piercing.

Erika was so nice and helpful! I got a recommendation from a friend to go there and to have her do my piercing and I definitely see why! She did my cartilage piercing SUPER quick and barely hurt. Definitely go here if you want any piercings!

I walked in with my sister to get our nose pierced. We were attended right away by Ryan. He was friendly and helpful. Excellent service. I would return and recommend this place!

The ball/studs to my lip piercings always fall out so I frequent this place quite often to buy replacements. I kid you not not I went in today for an internally threaded hoop and a backup stud+bar. Not only did the person who works the front (not sure of their name or pronouns) gave me the wrong sized bar after looking at my piercing and me opening my lip as well. I went back in and asked to exchange and they said no… even though that was the size they suggested. Then I tried the hoop because at this point I’m desperate. The hoop was fkn huge and I can’t even close my lip with it in. I’m a student studying for exams and working night shifts and this was overall a waste of $50 and my time. Super annoyed and disappointed.

I came in to EC Tattoo and Body Piercing for my very first tattoo. I was extremely nervous and almost walked out. But when I met Jason I felt completely at ease. He was so funny! He made me feel totally comfortable and it made the process so easy. And the best part is that he completely nailed my tattoo. He’s extremely talented! I came an hour before closing to get a nose piercing and everyone was so friendly and helpful! The prices are reasonable and the girl behind the counter answered every question I had and was super sweet. I got my nose pierced by Kim and she did an absolute amazing job and made sure I was satisfied with the placement! I’ll definitely be coming to this shop here on out for any future piercings :)

Erica was my piercer she was fantastic and did a great job. The next week I was worried about swelling so went in to size up my jewelry and Kim helped me out. It was quick and painless and they didn’t even charge me for the longer jewelry. Definitely coming back.

Scheduled to have an MRI tomorrow evening. I needed to purchase latex retainers for my nipple piercings and assistance switching them for my metal jewelry. Erika was friendly, pleasant and quite efficient! The entire procedure was less then 5 mins. The establishment is clean, employees asked if I needed help and on door several signs saying “Mask required to enter building regardless of vaccination status”. Even being fully vaccinated/boosted, still this made me feel safer and I appreciate them being inclusive, following current & updated statewide guidelines and instituting universal masking! Kudos are in order!

The owner himself helped us with a couple piercings. He was very professional and knew just how to ease my daughters fear. When one of the piercings unexpectedly didnt work with their anatomy, he did everything in his power to try and fix it, staying well past closing time to make sure we were happy.

This place was great! I went in to get a third hole in my ear lobes and a cartilage piercing. I had done the third holes previously at another store and they became infected and had to be closed. The staff did a great job of answering my questions and making me feel comfortable.

Kim and Kai were absolutely amazing to my sister and me. I am scared of needles and these ladies were amazingly comforting during the process, which was very quick and VERY easy. Kai took care of the “planning out” process and she was very patient with my changes. The actual piercing process with Kim took no more than a couple minutes and we are extremely satisfied with the results (we both got additional lobe piercings and a helix each). The girl at the counter was personable, sweet, and informative (heard her talking on the phone while I was getting worked on). The atmosphere is so chill, and I am beyond satisfied with Mikes work & patience! Will be back for more 😈.

While researching piercing shops in the East County, I came across EC Tattoo and Piercing (read the reviews and decided to go in and see if the vibe was right) it was. Black people are often hesitant abt El Cajon, Santee, oh and Lakeside (but that’s neither here nor there). I’m a Black woman and felt comfortable in this establishment, and that’s VERY important when patronizing in the East County.Ryan, (piercer) was considerate, explained exactly what he was doing, and wasn’t on the gas with trying to sell costly initial jewelry, that later, would not work well for a healed piercing. What Ryan did, was make sure I purchased a high quality metal that would help avoid possible issues with my metal allergy (titanium jewelry) and said “buy the fancy stuff, once your piercing heals” which I totally respect.Honesty goes along way with customers, which is the VERY reason I came back for an additional piercing less than a week later!Ryan doesn’t work on Thursday, so I had the pleasure of being pierced by Erika, who was also kind, courteous and honest! Also gave me options for my forward helix piercing, BEFORE piercing, which was much appreciated (Ryan did this as well). Erika, could have sold me a hoop, for my Front Helix, but with her 18 years of experience suggested I stay with the flat stud (since I had shared, that I’ve had issues in the past with piercings healing and keloids.Ryan and Erika are great piercers in my opinionAreas pierced by Ryan: Lobe and Tragus (the sound of the needle going thru the tragus bothered me, but very minimal pain).Areas pierced by Erika: Forward Helix (very minimal pain).

I went and got my second lobe and conch done.So much went wrong and I feel bad for complaining, but I spent money to waste it again on something that is easily preventable. My piercer dotted only my second lobes then pierced my conch without letting me see the placement. He ended up piercing it way too high and to the side. Once I got a closer look at home I did not like it at all and felt like it was too high. I looked up pictures of conch piercings and mine was the highest out of all of them even for doubles. It was so high I knew I wouldnt be able to fit a hoop after healing, so I thought I could just get a second conch leave the first as a stud, let the bottom heal then change it into a hoop, but the second piercer at a different shop told me exactly why the placement was bad and recommended that I take it out. I did that, but I couldnt even keep the jewelry I already bought, because it was cheap and highly likely contains nickel. I wouldve be been fine if I had chose the placement because that wouldve have been my fault, but he pierced it without showing me and thats what Im upset about. It could have been avoided.I wouldve of really liked to know more about the jewelry I got beforehand because my first lobes have scars, (you can see in the picture attached) because of cheap jewelry. I tried to ask and get more info on the jewelry being used, but the subject was quickly changed.One of my second lobes was pierced slightly slanted, so I had to take it out as well. Now I have to pay someone else to repierce it. Ive spent more money trying to fix this than the piercings cost to get. Mind you they werent infected because I took good care of them and cleaned them at least twice a day, I wasnt told anything on aftercare or even offered to buy a cleaning spray when it was obvious I hadnt gotten piercings before this. They were nice people, but I dont think Ill be going back.

Got both my tragus piercings done here and the piercer did one side correctly and pierced the other side crooked. It ended up swelling and I had to go to the emergency room to get the jewelry cut out of my ear because it wasn’t easy to unscrew from how tight she did it. Wasted $60 plus tip and had the worst pain of my life.

Been taking my daughters here for awhile. I just love how everyone is so thoughtful and very welcoming while always doing a great job .

I did it! I finally got my nose piercing done. Kim took great care of me. Everything was easy, explained, and it was basically painless. Clean sterile and Covid-19 compliant. (Masked and hand sanitizer, social distancing) THANK YOU!

I was a doofus and left my earrings out too long. I spent 45 minutes trying to get one in and gave up thinking it was going to need to be re pierced. Erica was super nice and awesome. She was able to get an earring back in in less than 10 seconds. Thats why you see the professionals...

The girl in there told my teenage daughter that she didn’t have “the right” bellybutton for a piercing, so after i saw the embarrassment in my daughters eyes I decided to just leave. The next place we went to was really nice and made her feel really comfortable. Her “not right” bellybutton healed just fine and she loves it.

I absolutely love this shop! I have had all my tattoos done there and they are all flawless! Its a clean, nice shop full of great people who never rush you or pressure you into anything. I dont want to go anywhere else ever! There is an artist for any style tattoo you could hope for!! I honestly cant say enough good things about this place.

Got my first pair of snake bites there and its amazing. The lady that pierced them is amazing. Honestly it took about 10mins. Also awesome jewelry selecton. From 0-10 in my case (its me, not you so dont get scared lol) it was about 8 but lasted like 3 seconds. Please consider this place for a great experience👌. Also I well be returning soon and this time for my dad, he wants to get a tattoo so hopefully that goes great aswell😂

Dont go to the El Cajon location to get pierced. The girl who pierces is a bit of an egomaniac. She sucks the personality out of the place. We ended up a couple of miles down the road at Color Bomb Tattoo and had no problem. Totally different atmosphere. Everyone in there was so cool.

Awesome selection of jewelry. Piercing staff is always pretty on top of things and very helpful. Personally not to sure about the tattoo side but I know for sure the body piercing part of the shop is legit.

Went in here because I heard they have a great selection of gauges. The guy who met me at the door patiently waited until I walked around and looked at them all TWICE before settling on a pair of stone plugs and a pair of wooden spirals.Then I decided on a whim to get my septum pierced,the guy said itd be forty dollars and i had to wait until the piercer got back from picking her kids up from school.About 25 min later she arrived back at the shop and quickly took me to I would have my nose pierced. It is my first piercing besides my ears and I was a little nervous. She (I forget her name, short hair and not as tall as me, Im 56) marked my nose to make sure it would be straight and then put on the clamp which HURT. But the piercing followed quickly after and I didnt feel that part at all. Before I knew it she had the ring through and I was all finished.Overall the experience was great and she only charged me $32 for the piecing not including tip!Would go there again if I was not just visiting on vacation from Kansas City Missouri.

I got two Tattoos done there in one night by Josh, but was suppose to get them done by another worker there. My tattoos coloring is all messed up and the name dont even look like they are spelled right. I only went there cause they said they do free color fill in and fix the work. But when I went back to get them fix they said it was going to be $86 dollar. which I think is ridiculous for me spending about almost $600 and tipping Josh $40. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone and I am very disappointed cause everyone that told me about the place spoke very highly of them and told me the same thing about the coloring and fixing the art work.

Got here 15 minutes before closing, still got my piercing. Well done too. Friendly with great selection. Very thorough after care instructions.

Dont get a piercing here!! Went in to get the venom tongue piercing. It was great good service friendly staff. Two weeks later the swelling went down and I realized it was crooked! Went in to complain and the piercer acted like she couldnt even tell, acted like I was wrong even though it was extremely obvious. Going to ask for a refund this is ridiculous.

I went here for a nipple piercing in February and had it done by a female and later I end up having to remove the piercing because of placement. Looking at things now I believe it was done on purpose. I ended up buying rings that were too big or didn’t ever fit due to it being placed on the areola. However I learned later not to go to tattoo shops for piercings because their knowledge or quality is off

Josh fixed my ugly tattoo that I got @ 15 years old, I have anxiety and this tattoo for me has such a strong meaning to it. When he fixed it, he almost brought tears to my eyes because I cherish this tattoo, it helps my anxiety and he made it look do beautiful. I wish I could have tipped him more than $30, but being a college student, funds are hard. Next time I will be returning to him with a bigger tip
