Michael gave me an amazing memory today, his chill, professional demeanor was spot on, I felt instantly comfortable, and his work is outstanding. I will post better pics ASAP.I recommend this place 100%, I saw multiple art styles, all done amazingly, all happy customers, oops all bangers!

The environment here is so chill. I went to Nicki for my tattoo and she is such a great tattoo artist I love her style so I didn’t mind traveling to have her design the sleeve of my dreams! Can’t wait to go back for more!

I have been to Vessel several times over the last 3 years to get tattooed by Nicki and it has always be such an incredible experience. The shop itself is beautiful, incredibly clean and well-maintained. And all the artists there, not just the one you’re getting tattooed by, are so welcoming and kind and make you feel incredibly comfortable the second you walk in the door. I’ve been tattooed at several shops and Vessel is by far my favorite one to go to because of the environment that they create.Nicki as an artist is exceptional. She has taken every idea I have ever brought to her and created such a beautiful piece of art for me. She has been patient through the process of finalizing all the details, and is constantly checking in to make sure the piece that she is creating is what I would want and so every little thing is something I am so incredibly proud to have. While the process can sometimes be hours long, she is so fun and easy to talk to throughout the whole thing making you feel very comfortable whether it’s your first tattoo or you’re a veteran in the chair. Nicki has taken on the grueling task of completing a leg sleeve for me and the work that she has committed to it and her craftsmanship is exceptional. I am so incredibly proud of the work that she has created for me, and I couldn’t recommend her or Vessel enough to someone looking to get tattooed

Absolutely the best staff around!! Matt impressed me with his faith in the Lord. He was booked but his apprentice Lani was able to adjust her schedule for me. Lani designed and applied my tattoo and did it with the utmost professionalism. The line work is impeccable! My skin never got red or raised and never even scabbed up. I apply the the ointment that they sell and I honestly can not be happier. Vessel Tattoo more than impressed me!

Nicki is absolutely incredible! She puts so much care and detail into her work. I always just give her a general idea of what I want, then she goes on to create the most beautiful pieces that exceed anything I could have imagined! The shop itself is always very clean and all of the artists are very friendly and welcoming.

I have been tattooed at Vessel by Chris and Lani (they are both 10/10 stars) and I send everyone I know there. I have never felt as comfortable in a tattoo shop as I do at Vessel. The vibes are great, the artists are so talented and professional, and I live in the neighborhood so I am very happy they’re here! If you are looking for an awesome tattoo, I can’t recommend Vessel enough.

I have gotten two large pieces from Nicki and I could not be happier with her work and the overall experience of being tattooed by her. I gave her complete artistic freedom with both of my tattoos and she absolutely crushed it. Nicki freehanded my back piece so I didn’t know what it would look like but I didn’t have even a second of doubt that it would be incredible. I cannot wait to have the opportunity to get more of her wonderful art.

Love this place, gotten 3 tattoos here so far. The owner Matt is a solid guy, super humble, easy to talk to and does great work for a great price. The shop is super relaxing and is super clean. You can tell he put his heart and soul in the place.

I’ve been lucky enough to get two incredible tattoos done by Nicki. She is so kind, thoughtful and insanely talented! I can’t wait to fly back for more in the future!

They do good work but pretty overpriced. $300 for one hour of tattooing, simple line work and shading, and I provided the exact design no tweaks necessary. I can only speak on the one artist I got it from Marco, I dont know about the other artists pricing. But I will not be returning nor recommending anyone. Im not asking for a $50 tattoo but be reasonable.

Vessel Tattoo Co. is an awesome shop in SD. Its clean and has amazing decor, and the folks who work there are incredible. I cant recommend Jake enough. He took the time to listen to what I wanted, draw up some amazing pieces, and made me feel comfortable the entire process!

Went for my first tattoo during the Friday the 13th flash and had an awesome experience. I got lucky and only waited about 25 minutes, everyone was super nice and my artist Anthony did an awesome job. He had a ton of great designs for the 13th and his style is super cool! Would highly recommend.

My wife and brother got tattoos here about a month ago, both by Lani, and she did amazing on their tattoos. today my wife and I got her flash sale tattoos and theyre also amazing. her lines are so crisp and everything she does is great. Lanis energy is also great. shes very friendly and knows what shes doing

He is a talented artist who creates some amazing art! The studio itself is awesome! Everything from the decor to the ambiance is welcoming! I met with him for a consultation for a tattoo cover-up and he was very transparent with all the details and cost, no surprises. During our first session (total of 3) we sat together and pieced together the tattoo, fine tuning every little detail! From a customer standpoint, this was important and special to me because I was able to perfect the drawing with him. While most artists just create a drawing and send it to you, I loved that Matt allowed me to work with him. After the outline was finished, session 2 and 3 were for coloring and we mixed a few colors together to create our own color pallet. Overall, I had a phenomenal experience. My cover-up turned out beautifully and I cant see the before under it. His lines are clean and soft. He created a delicate and feminine piece.

The parlor is clean and Marco gave me a great tattoo! I love my tattoo and I felt comfortable the whole time.

Im getting a cover up by Matt. I just went for my first session and my old tattoo is hardly visible! A previous shop told me I could not get color and could only get a panther for my cover up. Matt has proved them wrong.

I have gone to Vessel Tattoo twice now, and both times have not only received quality work but amazing service! The first time Matt the owner tattooed me, and the second time I had the joy of getting a piece done by Nicki Ninteman! The artists at Vessel are all talented and have created a fantastic environment in the shop! You feel welcomed the moment you walk in, and know you’re going to leave with a tattoo you are excited to show off!Vessel is where I will continue to go for all my tattoos!

Jorge is an excellent and efficient artist. He did a first-rate job at an incredibly reasonable price. If I lived in San Diego, I would absolutely come back to get more work done. Matt is absolutely phenomenal. He squeezed us into a tight schedule to make sure that we could get an appointment on a birthday to create a special memory. He was warm and welcoming, and answered ALL of our questions. He continued to be extremely calm and reassured us throughout the entire process. He made sure that we were 100% happy with his work before continuing on.We were absolutely thrilled with the final pieces. Our visions came to life and Matt made those happen! I have been to other studios that I thought were wonderful, but this one far exceeds any other. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great space, and an even better artist!
