Baron Art Tattoo & Piercing Studio El Monte

I came across Lynn’s work over a year ago and have been a big fan ever since! I finally figured out the design I wanted and she exceeded my expectations! This definitely my new favorite tattoo and most definitely will be coming back for another. Everyone in the shop was very welcoming, kind, and respectful, even when I called with questions I was treated well. This shop also practices great cleanliness which is important to see in this field of work

Kandi did such a nice job on my first tattoo! she was super patient n understanding with all the requests that i made with her. i loved how she tested out different angles to ensure that the tat comes out nicely! very nice experience

I got a forearm tattoo at Baron Art Tattoo and the whole experience was as good as it gets.Sansa was my artist and she did a spectacular job communicating with me the months leading up to the appointment. She was very flexible and easy to talk to, which is so important when getting a tattoo. I absolutely love the way the tattoo turned out (attached photo below).As for the tattoo studio, it was very clean and professional, it wasn’t long before I was greeted and given the proper weaver to sign.Great experience overall, highly recommend!

I got my rook and conch pierced by Chelsea! I came back after a really great experience last time and this time was no different. Got ears pierced here by Oliver. Very smooth experience! I got my ear lobes pierced for roughly $80 ($20 for each ear lobe + jewelery costs + threadless ends costs) and the wait time for my walk-in service wasnt too long. Lots of selections in terms of jewelery too!

Lovely experience with Sansa! Her final design for my black panther piece was near-perfect with the final results! Sansa was really nice and enjoyable to talk to. First experience with Baron Art and I highly recommend going to Baron Art/Sansa for your tattoos!

Great service, and incredible tattoo artists! I had my tattoo done by Sansa, who designed a tattoo based on my vague description that was even better than I could have possible imagined. Her ability to do vibrant color and brush strokes is out of this world! If you’re looking for your next tattoo, this is the place to do it! Got my piercings done here three times, by Iris and Twinkle. It was my first time getting professional piercings here at Baron Art Studio and I’m satisfied! My piercings are healing well and both Iris and Twinkle were patient and gentle when doing the piercings. They were very clear with the procedure and instructions for aftercare. Plan on visiting this studio more in the future :)

Got my conch and helix piercings done by Lily. She’s an amazing piercer who knows what she’s doing. She ensured that I liked the placements, allowing me to take breaks throughout the process without rushing me. Overall, a very positive experience.

I had a really positive experience at Baron Art El Monte! The artist I worked with, Kandi, is amazing. I messaged her only a few days before my requested date as I am only in town for a limited amount of time, and she was so generous and accommodating despite my extremely last minute request. She responded almost right away and carved out time for me despite how busy she was, also making sure that I was happy with the design before it was applied. She worked so hard all night with my feedback/edits as well as the morning of the appointment until I was completely satisfied with it. She is very sweet and good at what she does. I could not be more appreciative with how kind she was to include me so last minute -- she is very trustworthy and talented. She was very kind during our appointment and woke up extra early to help get it done. It turned out great. Please book an appointment with her -- shes great!!!!

My daughter and I got our 2nd ear piercing here. We had a great experience. The staff is very friendly and Oliver did an amazing job. I will definitely come back for my next piercing.

I’ve gotten multiple tattoos from Lynn at this location, and each time I am so blown away by her work. If you have a design in mind she takes her time to bring it to life. Lynn is so thorough and very obviously takes pride in every piece she does no matter how big or small, and she makes sure you’re comfortable during the entire process. She puts so much love into her pieces and this is why I will always trust her with any tattoo I get.

My sister and I came to get our belly button and lobes pierced. Iris was amazing and very helpful! She was really nice and walked us through the process and allowed us to make adjustments to the piercing placement until we were happy. I’ve gone to Baron Art El Monte for the past 2 years for my tattoos and I don’t regret it.Cool tattoo shop with MANY talented artists.I got my recent tattoo done by artist Sansa and it was such a wonderful and pleasant experience. She’s very accommodating and thoughtful and she is just so talented with her work.Each artist there truly takes care of their clients and everyone always leaves satisfied.If you’re ever looking for a tattoo or piercing work done, Baron Art is the place to go.Side note: Plenty of free parking in the parking lot but it does fill up fast. I suggest getting there early before your appointment.

I have a great experience at baron art. Kandi did my tattoo and she did a amazing job. She was very professional and also making sure that I was always okay and make sure that I always had brakes when I needed them. Her station was clean and nothing was pre opened which I find as a good thing. She was easy to talk to and the rest her teammates were fun to talk to as well. The environment is very chill and relaxing. Definitely well be going back to get another one!

I got my first (and second) tattoo ever at Baron Art Tattoo. I wanted a watercolor style and I found an artist on their website named Sansa Rao. She was quick to communicate with me and set up my appointment and give me the information I needed to have a comfortable first experience. I have gotten so many compliments from her work and have no regrets. If you are looking for a tattoo and love the style, I highly recommend getting it here!

I had a spontaneous idea with my friend to get piercings and Albert made my experience so enjoyable. He walked me through each step as he was doing the piercing and I don’t think I would’ve had a better experience with anyone else. Update: I just got a new dragon tattoo from Sansa and it was another great experience. I described what I wanted and she came up with a beautiful design. Again, very professional and communicative throughout the entire process. Sansa is an amazing artist and her tattoos are well worth the price.Sansa is an incredibly talented artist with her unique brushstroke style. She was communicative and responsive to my questions and requests. The tattoo took a few hours but for the quality, I am not complaining at all. Healed very quickly as well with the ointment that she provided. I get compliments on my tattoo all the time. Overall very satisfied and will definitely book another appt with Sansa.

I got a piercing here and the piercer Lily was so nice and helpful! She gave me extremely thorough instructions on aftercare and really helped the entire piercing process move along very smoothly. I got super lucky and came across Sansas work on instagram just when I was thinking of picking up a new piece. When I saw her art I instantly knew what I wanted. Piercing was done by Chelsea and she is very funny and kind. Prior to the appt she made sure I liked the placement and as part of some pre-care we had a small chat and she was very fun to talk to. I made an appointment with Kandi because I’ve seen some of her art on instagram and it was a great experience. The tattoo came out great and her hospitality was amazing.

I had my nostril pierced here and i was very nervous, but lily was my piercer and was very calm and stead with piercing and with talking me through it so it went well. There was a couple people ahead of us when we walked in, but we didn’t wait too long. Itzel in the front helped out and was very nice as well.

It’s been two weeks and my tattoo still looks vibrant and detailed thanks to Sansa! My first ever tattoo experience and she did such an amazing job! First time ever, like ever getting a piercing. Went for basic lobes. A person named Chelsea helped me. She was amazing. I got two basic $5 starter piercings for both ears, $20 per piercing. I bought the saline sprayer from them too, i think that was about $10. Definitely coming back!

I had a last minute walk-in with chelsea and she was super attentive and helpful throughout my piercing process. i was also on the fence on getting a third lobe piercing, and she was extremely professional as well as shared her expertise which helped me make an informed decision on something i’ve wanted for a long time.

Sansa is amazing!!! Great communication and professionalism. This was my fifth tattoo and I still get nervous each time but Sansa made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process. Like what seems to be the majority of reviews on here about Sansa (good sign, right?!), I had a great experience with her! We went with a larger size for the final design that ended up on my arm, so naturally the process took longer than the initial estimate, but Sansa was very patient, detailed, and talented every step of the way. She was responsive to what I wanted, even printed out multiple sizes so we could see what worked best, and frequently checked that I was doing okay in the chair. Not to mention - she was very helpful via email with all of my questions too. Im still amazed by how she translated my terrible conceptual drawing into such a beautiful and quality piece that I already love having on my skin very much. Definitely give her a visit if her style is for you! 💖I also loved the atmosphere of the studio itself - it seemed like a packed house on the day of my appointment and everyone there sounded like they enjoyed their experience with each of their artists. So, overall, great group of talent to get inked by! 🫶

She showed me a sketch of my tattoo a few days before my appointment for approval. The day of my appointment, she worked with me to get the right size for my tattoo. Lynn is absolutely an amazing artist. I came in on Friday asking to see if any artist could accomodate my custom piece of a butterfly and Lynn was more than welcome in booking me the following Saturday to get it done. The finals results are stunny and beautiful! I’ll definitely be coming here again and asking for her for future pieces such as anime characters that I have in mind. Very friendly and informative.

First tattoo and flawless experience. Booked online with Sansa after seeing some of her work and being drawn to her abstract, brush stroke style. We had a few helpful back-and-forths through email to key into what I was thinking. With just a few reference photos and notes, she produced exactly what I had in mind and even provided 4 different variations to choose from as a starting point. The actual session was comfortable, clean, and as relaxing as it could have been. Sansa was extremely thoughtful and had a very light touch, and absolved any anxiety or nervousness I had. 10/10, highly recommend Sansa, and the other artists at the studio were also very friendly and talented! Cant wait to go back.

I had a touch up done with added details and it came out great! Sansa was really accommodating with doing a touch up that wasnt her personal work and adding her style to it. She made it comfortable for the whole 6+ hours and made sure I felt okay along the way. Amazing work!

Absolutely amazed at how poor the customer service was. As someone whos been following baron art tattoo on instagram for a while Im highly disappointed at the interaction lve had here. I lost my fur baby a few days ago and came in hoping to get a tattoo done in tribute to him. Right off the bat the receptionist didnt even acknowledge or look up from her desk at us for a WHILE and when I asked if they were doing walk ins immediately she had attitude in her tone and made me feel like a burden for even walking in. Despite this I ignored and continued on to tell her what I would like done and it honestly was a small 1 inch maybe even less, tattoo of my dogs paw print. She just blankly stares at me and continues to give me looks. She proceeds to then tell me she will give me a price once shes done with all the details and then goes to walk to another tattoo artist who honestly was just sitting there doing nothing. They were both just talking back and forth about absolutely nothing important, laughing and looking my direction and made me feel highly uncomfortable. I even overheard the tattoo artist who is supposedly a manager??? Saying she doesn’t really take walk ins (they post almost daily on instagram and it’s in their bio that they take walk ins) Once the receptionist finally got back to me about the tattoo after god knows how long of yapping in the back, I just asked for the print of my dogs paw back and left. I was nothing but patient and kind towards this woman and left with nothing but disappointment and further heartbreak.

Chelsea did my piercing and she was amazing! Super friendly and informative. She helped me pick out jewelry and gave me tips to maintain and swap jewelry!

Jocelyn was incredibly kind, accommodating, and professional. She took her time and really made sure that not only I was comfortable with placement and position but that my snake bites were in a place that functionally worked for my everyday life. She explained aftercare and any warning signs to look out for in the future.

Had an amazing experience today with Zero. Had a half sleeve done and could only fit in one session, so she made extra time and sat with me the entire day, finishing my tat in one session. Great studio and artists!!

I am so lucky and grateful to have had my first ever tattoo experience at Baron Art with the extremely talented artist, Sansa. The studio was clean and all of the artists created a calming and comfortable environment for the patrons. I discovered Sansa on Instagram, completed the consultation form, and was in contact with Sansa very quickly to discuss the tattoo design. I provided an inspiration photo and asked that Sansa create something similar in her style and interpretation. The tattooing took place over two days and it was one of the easiest things I have ever done in my life! Sansa is extremely talented and professional. The process or requesting and getting a tattoo was easy and smooth! I initially sent requests to two artists (Sansa and Angel) for quotes on the tattoo I wanted, and they were both very sweet. I ended up requesting a custom tattoo from Sansa, and she was sweet through and through. Her art stuck a chord deep within me, and I would love to return to her for another piece. The location was very clean and orderly, and everyone working there was nice. My tattoo took about 3 hours (of actual tattooing), and the process went smoothly. Thanks x100 Sansa!!!

Just left this scamming place. Wish I could put 0 stars. Worst experience I’ve ever had. I came to get a medusa piercing as a first time customer mind you and was quoted $60 then once I get there they tell me it’s going to be $80 including jewelry which I didn’t mind because I picked it out but once I was done with my piercing and with a mouth full of blood they wanted to charge me $144 cause of a service fee that they never mentioned about once. I was confused and they kept mentioning different prices to me not giving me the full price until I was visibly upset. Unprofessional place please don’t come here if you want to get scammed. I’m currently waiting for the manger to reach out to me. The workers don’t give you the full price till you’re done bleeding, I’ll never come here again. (Update) was able to get some money back. Although the communication was bad I can say the lady who does piercings does a great job and is very friendly/ informative but I don’t appreciate the manager telling me take off my review when it’s the truth. Shows they don’t truly care.

Got an arm tattoo in the cybersigilism art style about 6-7 inches in length with Alan almost a year ago, and I feel I overpaid.I want to make something clear first. I understand very clearly that it is important to respect an artist’s prices, as they’re generally indicative of their skill, experience, and reputation. Every artist at Baron Art is incredibly talented and deserves their position there. I asked no questions when I was told my tattoo would be over $750 for a 5 hour session, and also tipped what I could.That being said, I’m not stupid. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, but I remember Alan told me he had only been tattooing for a year or two when I spoke to him. He is a talented artist, but not one with hundreds of clients on a waitlist, millions of impressions on social media, or decades of experience in the industry.I researched the likes of ModoInk, etc. after getting mine done and also spoke to DOZENS of people with similar tattoos who got their work done in high-demand, prestigious studios in LA and I’m not exaggerating at ALL when I say every single person I spoke to with actual experience getting or even giving tattoos was shocked when they heard how much I paid. There wasn’t a SINGLE person I spoke to who paid more than I did for a comparable tattoo, regardless of art style, session length, or general complexity.Perhaps this is customary in Baron Art, but I feel I was taken advantage of when I mentioned this was my first tattoo. I hope it’s obvious that I was hesitant to write this review— it took me nearly a year to say anything, because I was so adamant about respecting the artist and not questioning their prices. I doubt I’d be offered compensation but the very least I’d hope for would be an explanation, as like I said, I have yet to find a studio or artist that charges that much for the same kind of tattoo.

Her style is rare to find in the States and she definitely knows what she is doing. Throughout my session, Sansa was professional and friendly. I got one of my tattoos done by Lulu here! I came to this location as a walk-in with a certain design to represent my dog. Lulu did a quick sketch, and she was super accommodating by printing out multiple size options for me to see and adjusting the sketch to my liking, but even though the sketch was excellent, I decided I wanted something more detailed. I booked an appointment with her, and the final product of my dog portrait is even better than I hoped! I wanted my dog portrait to be more sketch-like than realistic, and Lulu nailed it! The only thing I would like to see improve in all their locations are clear confirmations about deposits and booked appointments. I had to call/text the locations to confirm my booked appointments, but they were super quick in confirming once I reached out. Theyre all extremely talented artists, and imo, I really dont think theyre that expensive for the quality of the work youre getting. Yeah, there are other places that might be cheaper, but its really a matter of what you like and the quality of work you want. Parking at this location is terrible, and the place is quite small just as an fyi, so I suggest reaching out and calling them rather than coming in as a walk-in for tattoos at least.
